Jennette McCurdy (Beevers Babes USA) v Selena Gomez (Lioness Club of America)

Having lost her JMD title to a much bigger girl, Jennette returns to normal flyweight duties against Selena, who is undefeated in 2016, and who is looking a good performer these days.
 
Out comes Jennette, the blonde in a maroon bikini, gloves and boots, with brunette Selena in a golden one piece with black gloves and boots.
 
Round 1
 
The girls are in action quickly, with Selena getting the better of the first exchange, making it tough for Jennette to get inside her lead, and she’s got a good followup cross on her as well – Jennette’s trying to work this out, but she’s getting tagged by the midpoint in the round, then counters as Selena gets a little too close, the blonde girl unloading heavy bodyshots, and she’s backing Selena up, the taller girl defending now, but she still manages to pick Jennette off again by the bell, in a really tight opening round.
 
Round 2
 
Jennette is on top early in the round, and she has Selena in full defence now, prods her backwards with her left hook to the body – but gets tagged!  Selena caught Jennette with a solid left hook, and the shorter girl felt that, and she’s having to clinch and hang on, the referee working hard to prise her away, and Selena is looking dominant from the break, swats Jennette with really good punches, the blonde unable to get close enough to cause any hurt, and she’s getting herself in a tangle, backed into a corner, with Selena looking to finish the job, whipping an uppercut past Jennette’s lips, and thudding in a few jabs before the end of a one-sided round.
 
Round 3
 
Selena has Jennette backing up as the round begins, swipes at her with a hook, but that’s all a bit too soon, and Jennette gets back at her, that left hook smacking into the brunette’s ribs, Selena buckling a little, and now they exchange jabs, Jennette’s never really landing, because Selena’s face is just out of her reach, and the taller girl’s trying to use her advantage – but she takes another good hit from Jennette to the body, and the last thirty seconds or so are all Jennette’s, the blonde pinning Selena and thumping her as she keeps her backed into the ropes.
 
Round 4
 
The girls are a little more tentative as the round opens, and Jennette doesn’t seem happy at that, as she tries to muscle Selena backwards, with the brunette happy to hold her and tangle her up, the referee getting involved again, and ticking her off, but after he resets the girls, it’s a different story, and Selena whips in a few good shots on Jennette’s face, a face showing some signs of bruising now, because Selena’s right hooks are landing just a little too often, and that’s her round as she regains control of this fight.
 
Round 5
 
There’s more neat, correct boxing from Selena, batting Jennette with some accurate punches, and the bruising is looking more angry around her eye, although she’s fighting back once again, working on Selena’s slender body, which she clearly sees as a weakness, and she’s got her girl static again, pokes some good shots through her guard, and starts looking good once more.  Selena’s wary of the left hook, though, and there’s no room for Jennette to crack that through, Selena defending her face really well in defence as Jennette reminds her what she has in her locker.
 
Round 6
 
Jennette’s looking a good bet right now, and she has Selena in full defence in the opening minute, backs her up with shots to the body, and there are a couple of feisty little uppercuts from the blonde, jagging Selena’s head backwards, but Selena swats her and turns her, and Jennette doesn’t really have the defensive capabilities of the brunette, her face becoming an easy target.  She’s trying to punch her way out of trouble, but that’s not working, and Selena’s hurt her with a right hook, and follows with a left cross, Jennette looking anxious, her corner shouting for her to cover – but she’s been softened up in this assault, and Selena cracks a left uppercut into her chin, which puts her on the canvas!  Jennette’s doing her best, but she can't beat the count and this fight is over!
 
Result: Selena Gomez knocked out Jennette McCurdy in round 6.
 

That’s a tough defeat for Jennette to take, because Selena dominated her for most of the six rounds of that fight, deservedly won, and tells Jennette as she sits on her stool, “Learn your lesson, girl! You aren’t in my league!”  She pats the blonde girls cheek and takes her ovation.
