Karlie Kloss vs. Gigi Hadid

"New Blood" Welterweight Final

Intro:
The final of the first ever New Blood tournament sees two amazing beautiful women do battle for the title of the New Blood Welterweight 2016.

Karlie Kloss had beaten the big and powerful Bo Krsmanovic in the semi-final in a contest full of respect and a friendship been born from it.

While Gigi had beaten Chanel Iman in a bout that was the complete opposite of that as both women had something to prove to the other and Hadid certainly proved it with a hard knockout of Iman. There was a big media buzz as Karlie and Gigi are not exactly anonymous and there face off at the end of the night of the semis was front page of every girls magazine and near the front of national papers around the world.

Different countries had even bid for the rights to hold the fight between the two modern day supermodels but America was always where it was going to be.

After all the photoshoots of the two were done, it was time for the final press conference to be held.

Both had dressed to the nines for this event as Karlie had turned up in a blue dress and heels with her hair styled up to show her beautiful face off.

Gigi had gone for a black dress and heels, while she had a low cut front to show her assets off that Kloss knew was an attempt to show her up.

But both are supremely confident women so both seem to draw all the attention in what's normally a ball room but now it's the venue for the final face off between these two. Karlie is up to the podium first as she warmly smiles to everyone and nearly seems overwhelmed by the situation.

"I have to say, this has been amazing; I mean when me and Bo fought, I thought she'd honestly land a shot out of nowhere and beat me but I stayed focused and won." Taking a moment, she continues "Gigi darling, we've known each other awhile and while I don't outright hate you, you have annoyed the hell out of me" Karlie winks at Gigi who in turn just stares at her coldly. "But you know what, me and her define the 21st century supermodel, we're super fit and we're tough, so we will give you a show alright and may the best woman win."

She walks up to Gigi with her hand ready to shake Hadids, instead the brunette walks past her, giving her a shoulder bump that almost trips Kloss up on her heels.

The look on Karlie's face says it all as she scowls back at her rival for the tiara and trophy.

As she gets to the podium; Gigi shakes her head and says "Let me be clear, I came into this tournament to prove I'm the #welterqueen and nobody is stopping me now" Turning to face Karlie, she adds "this isn't a friendship club, you want to make friends, go kiss some bodies ass, I hear you do that well if Taylor Swift is anything to go by!"

Karlie's face is turning bright red as Gigi points to the crowd and at Bella Hadid who is standing in a pink dress and heels. "I fight for myself and my family, if that means I have to lose friends then so be it but I have never classed you as a friend bytch" She proves her point by slapping Karlie then tugging her hair as they both start fighting with hair gripped tight.

The next moment they're on the floor with heels flying off as the media in the room surround the battlers and some even cheer them on. Security fights it's way through to drag the women apart as Bella checks Gigi is ok.

Karlie is bouncing on her toes on one side of the room shouting "I'll kick both your asses if you try it again bytch!"

Gigi is trying to get back at Karlie but Bella hugs her sister and whispers "screw her, beat her ass in that ring, then we can parade her around like the bytch she is."

Somehow both are calmed down enough that they can leave the building without starting up again.

Fight night, Karlie is out first in her white one piece swimsuit, boots and gloves she wore in her first fight, her name is written on in a lipstick style pattern. She bumps fists with members of the crowd on her way around to the ring steps, a young woman in the crowd shouts " kick her ass Kloss!"

Karlie nods and smiles widely at the fan before climbing the steps and then through the ropes to where the special ref for this tournament Brooke Shields greets her with a warm smile.

Then a mixture of boos and cheers can be heard at the ramp as Gigi Hadid arrives wearing a black one piece swimsuit, shoes and gloves, she has #Welterqueen in gold letters on the front across the bust of her suit. Her little sister Bella is walking with her down to the ring, she seems more excited about this fight then her sibling whose just staring at her opponent.

Entering the ring; Gigi points at Brooke and shouts "you better call this evenly" after the spat the two had with each other at the end of Gigi's fight with Chanel.

Brooke just smiles and replies "Gigi if you want an excuse, look in the mirror as I won't cheat you"

The announcer shouts "this is the Welterweight New Blood tournament; 10 rounds of boxing!"

He makes the announcements then when he's done; Brooke waves both fighters to the ring centre for the final instructions.

Gigi can be heard saying "I'm going to #### you up Kloss, no mercy on you for my rise to the top"

When asked to touch gloves, they bump gloves and as Gigi goes to pull away, Karlie keeps her gloves in contact and replies "Let's see Gigi shall we? No more bullshit off you!"

Slowly they retreat to their corners with their eyes locked in a hateful stare till the bell rings.

Round 1:
Out come the fighters looking stern faced as they dance out their corners on their toes and begin the early testing out period. This doesn't last long as the look on Gigi's face tells you she doesn't want a drawn out afraid and she starts lunging in somewhat to try and land to the body of Karlie. But instead she is getting jabbed straight to her face while the blonde shows great footwork to move out the way of her foe. She seems to forget that Karlie trains in ballet so for a girl her size, she's extremely graceful and has amazing movement and all round flexibility. Gigi is learning that first hand as she gets danced around for the majority of the round and Kloss attacks primarily behind a well drilled jabbing assaulted that is frustrating her rival already. Gigi does manage near the end of the round to land some hard hooks to the arms and body as she surprisingly looking at the two gets outboxed. As the bell rings, pundits at ringside talk amongst themselves on what they're seeing. Inside the ring, Brooke has to step in front of Gigi who was just standing while Karlie had just turned and was strutting back to her corner. "Don't even think about it" is Brooke's answer to the obvious thoughts going through Hadids head to attack Karlie from behind. Gigi scowls at Brooke before turning back to her corner to get cleaned up and hear support from her sister.

Round 2:
Coming out each with a clearer game plan this round; Gigi takes several jabs to the face before she manages to duck inside and get back to work on that body, forcing the first clinch of the fight. Brooke quickly separates the pair as the action resumes quickly with Gigi making sure she sticks close to Karlie who seems happy to stand and trade with her rival. Slugging it out in the centre of the ring, the crowd is up cheering their favourite as these two tear lumps out of each other with hard combinations. Karlie tries to create some distance again but gets clipped with an overhand right that luckily just scraped her cheek instead of being a full force shot. Trading again near the ropes, the fight has really come to life as Gigi and Karlie even throw one word insults at each other between punches. Clinching up at the bell; Gigi can be seen whispering insults into the ear of the blonde who is firing back readily. Brooke pulls them apart as part of her wishes she was back in the ring watching this two young rivals throw everything at each other.

Round 3:
Squaring up to each other more willingly now, Gigi seems to be more in her element between these two as she happily gets stuck in. While Karlie seems to be wanting to get moving around the ring again but keeps getting shut down after Gigi accepts taking some jabs to corner the blonde. Karlie clinches up with her opponent as she seeks to get back control of a fight she's let slip. After being told to break, Karlie let's Gigi go fairly but Hadid shoves Karlie against the ropes and then shouts "bring it bytch!" Karlie's face turns a shade of red as the two women get back at each other and Gigi is certainly landing the more cleaner punches of the two. Karlie steps back again to try to regain her composer after she let Gigi get into her head which has caused her to get a bloody lip which won't exactly help her win any beauty contests. The bell rings and Gigi even with her cheeks starting to puff up looks happy as she mocks Karlie by sticking her tongue out and licking her lips before asking "sore ####?" Karlie shakes her head and returns to her corner where she gets a telling off for being reckless and allowing herself to lose control.

Round 4:
Gigi confidently comes forward with her guard raised as she parries the early jabs from Karlie and seeks to continue her inside domination of the fight with hard hooks to the body.But Karlie seems to have found inner peace or just remembered her footwork from earlier as she abandons getting stuck in a brawl to dance around Gigi with that jab and straight. Hadid does manage to pin Karlie to the ropes and tries to land more over hand rights to try and take Kloss's head off. Kloss keeps her guard high and clinches up again to force the fight to be moved off the ropes again. After being separated; Karlie drives forward with a hard jab followed by a straight and retreats quick enough from Gigi that Hadid looks somewhat shocked at the speed of the big woman. But it's that footwork again that Gigi can't match at the moment and the frustration can be seen building in her as her success from earlier isn't continuing as she hoped. Nearing the end of the round and Gigi starts throwing more punches to push back Karlie to the ropes, who in turn is keeping that guard high, which is allowing her opponent to get to work on that body with sweeping hooks to the bell and Gigi has that smile returning. But it's Kloss who is the happier as she's getting back control of the tempo and style of this fight.

Round 5:
Charging out again to try and force Karlie into another brawl, Gigi gets a stiff jab that rocks her head and now she can taste blood on her lips. Stepping back for the first time in this fight, Karlie now becomes the aggressor as Gigi is looking wide eyed at losing control of the fight totally by the looks of things. Karlie is hammering Gigi's gloves to try and get at her head and knock her out but Gigi manages to clinch up. Now Karlie is the one whose throwing the insults without Gigi having to rile her up as she whispers "what's wrong? Has a cat got your tongue or has my punches shut your mouth up once and for all?" Gigi just looks past her rivals shoulder looking pissed off then she starts digging hooks into Karlie's kidneys as Brooke rushes to pull the two apart with Karlie grunting loudly as she tries not to scream in pain. As they get pulled apart, Gigi takes a swipe at Karlie which she just manages to duck and Brooke pushes the two apart before warning Hadid "one more stunt like that and I will disqualify you, ok?" Gigi nods looking like she'd like to tear her gloves off and beat Shields ass as the two stare daggers at each other. Back go the fighters as Gigi manages to thud several hard shots to the jugs of Karlie behind Brooke's back, which causes Karlie to whimper. The bell rings with Gigi still looking to go at Karlie but Brooke squares up chest to chest with her with eyes that say train me. Gigi backs off slowly but it's becoming a fight within a fight as Hadid and Shields look ready to just let breeze at each other.

Round 6:
Whether she's using her rage at everyone in the ring or she thinks she can knock out Karlie now, Gigi almost tackles Karlie through the ropes as she just sends barrages of punches at her rivals body. Karlie screams out in pain as Brooke watches closely to see if Kloss can get off the ropes or if it will be over soon. Clinching up, Karlie manages to land some hooks to her rivals kidneys to pay her back for before but she takes a few wild punches in return to her body and jugs. Getting pulled apart again, Gigi is quick again to dive in as she seems lost to her emotions and is letting her hands go. Kloss can only parry as much as she can as she can't find a way to counter attack with the volume of punches heading her way. Luckily for her, she is still able to dodge most of the blows with her footwork but both are slowing down as they have thrown alot at each other. Gigi again manages to smack those blood lips which makes Karlie yelp and a tear flows from her right eye as she tries to mask her pain. The bell rings with Gigi starting to breath harder as she just stares at Karlie with cold eyes and Kloss wonders if it's the fight and the situation or if Gigi really hates her that much? Steeling herself she returns as hard a stare she can as Brooke just stares at the two women wondering how bad this is going to get between
the two before she shouts "back to your corners ladies!"

Round 7:
Gigi seems to have slowed down considerably as Karlie who looks a wreck herself beats her across the canvas this time to rattle hard jabs and straights to her opponents face. Hadid looks to want a round to rest but Kloss isn't going to let her off that easily and starts working the body which forces Gigi to clinch up once again. Both women have swollen faces, bloody lips, hair stuck to their cheeks as they clinch like two lovers then two fighters. But Karlie looks to be the fitter as she shoves Gigi off on her own and the crowd seem to edge closer in their seats thinking they've seen the first real telling moment of this fight. Karlie starts throwing her own barrage of punches to Gigi's face and guard as she seeks to force the stoppage now. But Hadid manages to weasel her way off the ropes and hit Karlie with a desperate hook that collides the two women together and they clinch again on tiring legs. Letting them take a longer breather than maybe she should; Brooke separates the two after nearly thirty whole seconds. Getting a second wind, both are slugging it out again but at the bell, Karlie lands a hard hook to the eye of Gigi that wobbles Hadid to the ropes and Brooke has to grab Karlie before she goes to throw another punch to a hurt Gigi, whose left eye is starting to swell up from that punch.

Round 8:
Both fighters look ready to just go at it now and see who is left standing after they throw bombs at each other. Bella Hadid looks worried as she saw how bad that left eye was becoming and it was obvious to the crowd as Kloss peppers it with hard straights that rattle Gigi. But to Gigi's credit; she's coming forward and still willing to trade as she lands some rattling hooks of her own to the body of Karlie. The two clinch up again as the insults seem to have disappeared, whether from tiredness or they respect each other. Judging by Gigi's face it is certainly option A but Karlie has lost much of her anger from before and looks as focused as she can be. Separating the two, Karlie lands a hard right to that eye forcing Gigi to scream and wobble to the ropes. Bella is willing her sister to last this final minute but Gigi takes two more heavy hand hooks to her face and down she goes to her back flat out on the canvas. Brooke counts and reaches 10 with Gigi barely moving as Karlie watches with a growing smile on her face as the count was going on.

Winner: New blood welterweight champion 2016: Karlie Kloss KO round 8.

After:
Karlie nearly collapses as her body feels like a lead weight now that the adrenaline has left her body and her body is feeling all the effects of this fight.

Bella Hadid throws her heels off so she can climb into the ring quickly to check her sibling is ok.

Brooke Shields also checks her over as there's some concern for Gigi's wellbeing after taking such a beating at the end. First aiders work on her as Karlie even comes over to check after she's had her gloves taken off.

Gigi comes around and looks at the medics and the three women staring down at her and she bursts into tears while whispering "####"

Karlie says "thank you for giving me such a hard fight, you were so close to winning babe"

To Gigi that's the worst thing Karlie could have said as she sits stewing in her anger at having thrown away this tournament and all that it could do for her and her career.

As Kloss puts her hand out to help Gigi up, Hadid knocks it away and says in a low tone "just leave me alone bytch, I'm not like Bo or any of your sad friends, I'll want to fight you until I prove what I know"

Looking into the eyes of Karlie "I'M BETTER THAN YOU!" Shouts Gigi as Kloss nods knowing that she'd be as upset if she had lost.

"Anytime you need to have this rematch, I'll gladly give it to you" replies Karlie as she pats Gigi on her back.

Bella helps Gigi up and out the ring as the last thing she needs to see is Karlie get her prizes.

As they leave; all the cameras in the arena zoom in to get a close look at the coronation of Karlie. Brooke Shields gets the tiara first which she places onto Karlie's hair with a hairpin to keep it from falling off. Tears fill Karlie's eyes as does Brookes as she likes Karlie for the way she has handled herself through this tournament. Next she hands Karlie the golden trophy which will have her name engraved on later in the back.

As she lifts the trophy, confetti falls from the arena roof into the ring as Karlie weeps tears of Joy and the arena claps her victory as the first ever New Blood champion ever. Brooke gives her a massive hug as Karlie puts the trophy down and says "you deserve this moment, promise me you'll have many more like this" says Shields as Kloss is too awestruck by the moment to speak and just nods. As Karlie does a lap of the ring with the trophy and tiara, how far can Karlie go in boxing? Not a bad start to beat two fighters in your first bouts to win a tournament!
