TESS VALMORE
THIRLBY/STEWART Stewart being SPOON fed a newbie. Stewart spent the first four rounds goofing off as Thirlby took three of those rounds. Stewart finally decided to get serious in the fifth and hammered Thirlby as she barely managed to finish the round. She didn’t finish the sixth as a Stewart right caught right on the chin and she went down. Thirlby made an attempt to get up, but simply couldn’t beat the clock. Stewart KO6
REED/BENNET Going in Reed had zero wins and Bennet had won nine straight, so it was a surprise to the crowd when Reed floored Bennet in the first. Reed then dominated the first half of the fight winning four of the five rounds. Bennet finally got going in the sixth and then hurt Reed not once but twice in the seventh. Reed’s dreams of victory went out the window in the eighth when Bennet landed a big right hand that sent Reed down to the canvas on her back where she stayed as the count hit ten
GOMES/SOBIESKI The bout was even at two and even at four but Sobieski served notice in the fourth that she was out to end the bout early. End the bout she did in the fifth. She set Gomes up and then hit her with everything but the corner stool which was a lot more than Gomes could handle. Gomes hit the deck and stayed there
RATAJKOWSKI/RAMBIN Why does Rambin have to wear that awful pink bikini. That’s a losers color. Probably why she sits at the end of the bench. A back and forth fight with the bout even at two, even at four and still even at the end of six. Ratajkowski floored Rambin in the seventh and followed up taking the eighth to get a three point lead with two to go. Rambin came back to deck Ratajkowski in the ninth, but was still behind on the cards going into the final round. Ratajkowski hadn’t recovered when the bell rang for the final rounds and Rambin went on the offensive. She trapped her opponent in a corner and let loose with everything she had beating Ratajkowski helpless and the bout was stopped giving Rambin a late TKO
EVA MARIE/PERRY Another one of these back and forth bouts that was even at two, even at four and even at six. Perry had a good seventh, hurting Eva Marie who barely managed to finish the round. If Perry had a good seventh, she had a better eighth when she landed a straight right that ended Eva Marie’s night.
MITRA/RUAH Like most of the fights on the card. this bout was even at two, four and six with Ruah having Mitra hurt in the sixth. Mitra hadn’t quite recovered when the seventh started and Ruah took the advantage. She hurt Mitra with a big right and then landed another and Mitra was toast. Ruah KO7
