Intro:
This bout sees two women on different directions concerning their boxing careers as the undefeated Rachel Riley with a 2 and 0 record meets Alex Jones with a 0-2 record in the ring.
But even with her perfect record, doubts still surround Rachel on her dedication to the sweet science and if she can back up the hype that's surrounded her since her debut.
At the press conference, Rachel has a red dress on with red heels looking a knockout as always to go with her super brain.
"I know people in this room want me to explain why I'm not fighting as much as they expect but I have a career out the ring too guys" says Rachel defensively. Then she goes on the attack saying "I'm sick of all the doubters of my talents so I've had a hard training camp for the past two months that has seen me spar with every bantamweight and lightweight in my stable to get ready for this fight"
She finishes by saying "nothing against Alex, she's a good woman but when we step into that ring, it's going to be hell for her I promise you that" Alex steps up to the podium in a white dress with her trademark smile that wins so many viewers over.
"Look I know I'm not the favourite by any stretch, I'm older, my record isn't great but I'm not going to lay down and play dead so Rachel can take an easy win" says Alex in her strong Welsh accent.
Turning to Rachel whose smiling, she adds "babe, you talk about giving me hell, just you wait till we step into the ring and see how well you do"

Fight time in Wembly arena; Rachel is out first with a long flowing red sparkly robe and red gloves. As she climbs into the ring, she's bouncing on the spot waving to the crowd who cheer the Essex lass.
Out comes Alex in a blue sparkly robe and blue gloves, she looks super focused as she wants to make her own statement.
Entering the ring, she waves to the crowd and gets a nice cheer from supporters of hers who are outnumbered by the Rachel fans.
After getting their robes taken off to reveal bikinis (red for Rachel, Blue for Alex) they lastly get their gumshields in as their eyes meet across the ring and the stare off begins.
The ref asks them to come to the ring centre where they meet eye to eye as they are exactly the same height barefoot as they are now.
Neither shows a flicker of emotion as they firmly touch gloves but nod to each other to show that there's no malice to one another, this is purely business.
10 rounds of bantamweight action starts now.

Round 1:
Both women come out with a similar plan as they attack with hard jabs that both land cleanly due to neither having any advantage in range.
Alex seems to want to be the early aggressor but Rachel is looking to make a statement with her skills and is moving well around the ring and starting to lay into Jones face with combinations.
The brunette looks flustered as she's getting out boxed by the younger woman, whose stepping around her rival and landing cleanly with her own jab.
The crowd can hear the smack of Riley's glove echo on Jone's cheek and are wondering if Rachel could just end this now if she wanted too.
But she's not pulling any real triggers yet as Alex is going defensive now as the jabs now thud off her gloves.
The bell rings with Rachel all business, just strolling back to her corner without a second thought to Alex, who is looking worried already.
Round 2:
Much of the same; Alex is fighting on the back foot as Rachel is drilling her jab into the guard of the Welsh fighter, who can't get her own attack working at the moment.
Alex does get a moment to strike as she dodges under a jab to land a slick hook to the body that gets a groan out of the blonde.
But Rachel strikes straight back with an uppercut that catches Alex cold and down she goes to her back with her eyes blinking in shock. The count is up to 4 when Alex sits up looking stunned by that punch but she's up at 8 looking ready to resume.
The ref let's the fighters get back at it and the crowd are definitely sure Rachel is holding back somewhat as she doesn't go for the kill. Instead she's back to moving around the slower Alex and landing seemingly when she wants against the outmanoeuvred woman.
Alex takes a cracking hook to her right eye and she's wobbling again but Rachel is holding back as if to prove a point that she's better than people think and it's her choice when she ends this fight.
Bouncing on her toes against a bruised in more ways than one Jones, Rachel is teeing off with quick combos till the bell rings with Alex struck on the ropes looking hurt.
Round 3:
Alex comes out but it isn't long till she gets another hook to that hurt right eye and a cut opens up above her eyebrow.
Rachel is cracking punch after punch into the face of Alex, who is wobbling at her knees and a sharp right hook drops the One Show presenter down to the ground in a heap.
Her gumshield flies to the canvas as Rachel raises her arms to the crowd who cheer her.
Alex looks up at the ref but doesn't seem to want anymore punishment and stays down for the count.

Winner: Rachel Riley KO Round 3

After
Rachel does a lap of honour after that win with her gloves raised and barely breaking a sweat during the contest.
Alex is being helped up by her seconds as she gets her wounded eyebrow cleaned up from the blood and sorted out. Rachel gets her gloves taken off and makes sure to go see Alex to say "thank you" to her for accepting the fight as they shake hands and share a smile. Denise Van Outen climbs into the ring to talk to our winner and a fellow Essex blonde.
Denise asks "great performance there babe, does that finally silence the people who've questioned your talent and commitment to boxing?"
Rachel replies "I would hope so, in no way was I troubled at any point in the contest and I'll give Alex credit for getting up after I knocked her down the first time"
Nodding, Denise then asks "so what's next for you? I'm sure your fans are keen to hear what the plan is"
Rachel laughs and replies "I've been meaning to fight Holly Willoughby but both our schedules have gotten in the way, she's a good test for me at lightweight or how about me and you Denise in a friendly scrap?"
Both laugh as they hug and Denise says "never say never babe, just don't expect me to be too friendly"
Rachel waves to the crowd as they cheer her and Denise gives her a round of applause for a dominant performance.
