BEFORE: Tamsin Egerton remains a little upset that she couldn't mount a significant run at the Welterweight Title tournament where Nicola McLean knocked her out in the quarter-finals but she looks forward into handing ACB veteran Sophie Falkiner a rough BBU debut here in the Wembley Arena tonight.
Tamsin smashed another veteran Tara Moss back in December and most pundits think that Falkiner is actually an inferior fighter compared to Moss however she's got no official bouts on her record so this might be a case of wishful thinking.

Egerton is fired up and ready to go as she tries to indimidate the fellow blonde during introductions with a ferocious staredown attempt however Sophie burst out in a rage and vows to take the Portsmouth girl's head off and suddenly the tempers flare up even before the opening bell!

Round 1:
Tamsin tries to stamp her authority on the fight from the opening bell and lashes out at the older blonde with a flurry of jabs that finds the target quickly and exposes Sophie's guard repeatedly - much to the crowd's delight.
The English actress sends her opponent's head into a steady rocking nightmare and Sophie needs to get out of the leather rush fast but she just can't find her range at all and stumbles back to the ropes with the Portsmouth lass banging in more strikes up the middle.
It's obvious Egerton arrived in London with a mission to annihilate the BBU rookie and Falkiner bellows out behind a tight earmuff while soaking up most of the shots aimed at her.
She looked pretty tough during the pre-fight staredown but when the chips are down, it's all Egerton who cripples the Aussie gal with a quick switch on the guts come the final minute and homes in with a wrecking hook on the nose right at the bell which almost sends Falkiner crashing down in her corner!

Round 2:
Sophie tries to find some success in mid distance but she's not a six footer like Tara Moss who gave Egerton a run for her money seven months ago.
In fact, Tamsin ignores the weak efforts from her opponent and just piles in more head hunting venom that dismantles Sophie's guard before too long and sends her rocking all over the ring.
A well-measured hook on the solar plexus wobbles the TV reporter into a crunching follow up on the chin and Falkiner scowls in pain with eyes closed as she tries to avoid going down on her knees... BUT DOWN SHE GOES as Tamsin's ruthless striking sends the Wembley Arena audience into a joyful erruption! Sophie sits down on her heels and just shakes her head in frustration.
All the gym work and preparations for her BBU debut are being flushed down the gutter by one of the most exciting free agents around the UK! However Sophie doesn't simply check out like that.. she's up at seven - only to meet a flying cross on the nose that spills the familiar red liquor onto the canvas and some into Tamsin's cleavage as well... a scything left cross follows and poor Falkiner never caught a glimpse of it whatsoever... DOWN SHE GOES AGAIN and this time it's terminal as Egerton simply wrecked her with that blitzing one-two combo.

AFTER: That was a lightning quick victory for the Portsmouth blonde who looks completely unmoved by Sophie's bloody departure that might have well ended up with a broken nose.
Georgie Thompson will need to confirm that sometime later but for now it's rather obvious that Tamsin was handed a genuine cougar who just couldn't mount any sort of significant plan against a woman 14 years her junior.
Did the ACB crew accept an appearance fee without even considering the odds of fighting the former Beevers' protegee?
That might be the case since Sophie has done nothing to justify the long flight from Australia and even calling her a poor man's Tara Moss is an insult to the entire ACB community.
Well, perhaps Melanie Sykes has found herself a solid target for her retirement tour though?
