(Home & Away vs Neighbours)

(Free Agent vs Free Agent)

Intro:
The first bout in this special team event between the female casts of Home and Away versus Neighbours sees two bombshells fight it out.
Jessica Grace Smith is famous for playing Denise "Denny" Miller on Home and Away. But she's also been in Spartacus the T.V series and several other well known shows.
While her opponent is famous for playing Amber Turner, ironically both left their shows last year but were excited to represent their shows from not long ago.
It also has the added rivalry of a Kiwi against an Aussie flavour as Jessica is from New Zealand against the Queensland native Jenna.
At the weigh in; both women look fit for this and no malice is shown by either as they share smiles and do shake hands after doing face offs for the media.
As they speak to the media in their training camps, Jessica says "I think she'll be a good test for me, we're very similar in height, weight and age but I believe I can beat her if I give my all" Jenna is as equally complimentary as she says "Jessica certainly looks the part, when we discussed our lives, she's fit and she'll be a lot to handle but I have to believe on that beach that I can take her or what's the point in training"
She adds "no mercy in the ring, outside the ring; it's up to her, if she wants to be friendly, we can sunbath after our fight if we're fit enough too, if she still wants to go, I'm woman enough to keep going in private from our teammates" Fight time on the Gold coast of Australia, no ring posts, instead a beach Volleyball court has been used for the markings and two stools have been placed in the ring to show starting points.
But don't expect the fight to stay within the boundaries as both women will seek to bully each other around.

No crowd as Cameramen film the event and stream it live across BBU T.V and several websites to get maximum coverage and judges sit nearby to score the contests.
Jessica out first with her hair tied up in a ponytail, she has a blue and white floral pattern bikini on and blue gloves, she waves to a camera as she finds her corner. Jenna is out next, her hair is also tied up as she is in a yellow bikini with green trim and green gloves.
After getting their gumshields in, the two walk to the centre of the court and both touch gloves and say good luck to each other. 10 rounds of bantamweight action to start us off.

Round 1:
Neither races across the sand as they circle each other early and throw testing jabs out at each other.
Even with being close up together a lot in the build up, they both seem to have not worked out if they should go at each other hard or try to outbox the other.
At the moment both take option B as they test the others reflexes with jabs that slam off the others guards showing neither is a dumb rookie exactly.
Getting on the front foot more, Jenna seems the more willing to try and push Jessica, who is dancing around her in the sand.
Near the end of the quiet first round, Jenna lands the first hard punch of the fight with a hook to the left cheek of Jessica.
It seems to get the Kiwi fighters attention as she let's loose several jabs and straights to get back at Jenna who shows her speed by dancing backwards.
The bell rings and Jessica nods at Jenna to show respect for that hook she got hit with before.

Round 2:
Starting to become more comfortable around each other, they start standing in the ring centre to trade for a bit before returning to a technical boxing match.
Jenna seems to have the better hands as she lands the cleaner shots and Jessica is looking like she's still trying to get out of first gear to match the pace of her opponent.
Jenna goes up the centre with a jab and an uppercut that makes Jessica backpedal and Rosenow is looking seriously confident now as she continues to be the aggressor in this contest.
Neither seems to be hindered by the sand as they dance around each other but again Jenna lands another clean hook to the body of her opponent this time and a gap is already growing between the two women.
Jessica does manage again at the end of the round to start landing a few harder punches as the bell rings and Jenna is trying not to smile but is failing as she feels so alive, while Smith looks at the sand as if she wants to blame it for her slow start.

Round 3:
Jessica seems to change her mind on how she should fight and starts pressing the action more by coming forward more now and it seems to work somewhat as her jab is starting to get through more cleanly.
Problem is this type of ring suits your agile boxers as there isn't any ring ropes to bump into, so a brawler can't force them into a tight corner or the ropes to really hurt their opponent.
So Jenna is still able to get around her opponent and land that drill like jab of her own to the reddening cheeks of Smith.
Getting more frustrated, Jessica lunges a hard shot into the body and Jenna that causes a gasp to escape the Aussies lips as the next punch knocks her down or did it? The ref goes to count but as Jenna is about to protest, Jessica tells him "it was a slip, I didn't connect" Jenna looks up stunned at the honesty of her opponent and as she gets up, she touches a glove with Jessica before they start boxing again.
Trading till the bell, Rosenow stops Jessica before she returns to her corner with a tap on the shoulder and says "thank you" as Smith just nods.

Round 4:
Getting more serious with each other, Jessica is definitely trying to change this fight around as she tries to stick to her opponent to try and land a hurtful shot Jenna is still trying to move but the Kiwi won't be stopped as she lands a sweeping hook to the body again forcing Jenna to clinch up as she wants to slow down the advancing Smith.
Being separated, Jessica waves Jenna on, who gets back to snaking that jab out but now she's getting clocked with hard combos in return.
The fighters are starting to stand more and fight it out in pockets of the ring before they move around to try and seek an advantage in position.
But Jessica is definitely coming into this fight now as she slams several punches to the body of Jenna.
The girls clinch up again as they land digging body shots to each other before being asked to break and they do without any need for the ref to get involved.
Jenna is trying to fight on the back foot now as Jessica starts plowing ahead before the bell rings and again no incident between the fighters as they back away calmly.

Round 5:
Jessica is still trying to line up her punches as Jenna uses her speed across the sand to keep her opponent not settled.
Smith is getting annoyed somewhat as she waves Rosenow to come and fight but the Aussie isn't going to fight on her rivals terms, even if it's a friendly rivalry.
That jabbing drill of Jenna's is showing its affects now as Jessica's right eye is starting to swell from the constant pressure its under.
This is forcing Jessica to keep her right hand high to her cheek meaning she can't throw as many power punches as she hoped without being reckless.
Jenna seems to smell that this fight is going in her favour and adds a few combos to her attack as she goes head hunting and the Kiwi has to back away to her own displeasure.
The bell rings after a dominant round for Jenna whose beaming with pride of how well she is doing as her seconds praise her. Jessica is looking across at Jenna wondering how to get at her.

Round 6:
Jenna is coming forwards more often now as she lands chopping jabs and is adding a few power punches to back Jessica up.
The Home & Away girl is still punching back but she's taking more punishment then she can give and a hard right hook puts her down for the first official knock down of the fight.
Pushing herself up to her knees, Jessica doesn't look too bad, she spits some sans that went into her mouth but she is able to be up at 8.
Getting checked on, the fighters square up and both launch into each other as Jessica knows the score cards are getting away from her and Jenna thinks victory isn't far away now.
But the Kiwi is still showing plenty of fight and a hook rocks Jenna now and Smith is on her but the bell rings just as she seemed ready to knock Jenna down.
Both women stare for a moment as if talking with their body language that was close both say.

Round 7:
Jessica is trying to build on her success at the end of the last round as Jenna sticks to fighting on the move. But at this stage both are slowing down as the energy used to move in sand is greater then bouncing around a canvas.
Jessica is now landing harder punches again as she doesn't have as hard a job as before in timing her punches.
Jenna is still fighting with that jab just piercing through to that bruised right eye of Jessica's. The ref calls a time out as it gets checked over to see if it is too badly hurt for the fight to continue.
Getting the it's OK call, Jessica tries to get straight at her opponent as her urgency is rising by the second as time is running out on her chances of a win.
But Rosenow seems comfortable to hang back somewhat and CounterPunch her opponent.
Smith is throwing flurries of punches and not hitting anything, which adds to the frustration at the bell as she stomps back to her stool and has her hand in her gloves wishing she could scream every dirty word she knows out into the world.

Round 8:
Jessica bounds forward without any care as she knows she must strike now before it really does get down to the wire.
Rosenow is trying to motor backwards but it isn't exactly perfect to do in sand, even if you've spent hours and hours on beaches in your life time.
A right hook connects harshly and down goes Jenna to her behind as Jessica quickly backs off to get the count started.
If a crowd was here they would edge forward as what was looking a routine win for Jenna is becoming a nightmare. As she stands at 8, she can see the look of utter focus on Jessica's face directed at knocking her out and it slightly unnerves her.
The fight starts again and Jenna decides to fight fire with fire and stands to trade as it becomes a brawl in the centre of the court.
Jessica is pounding forward with anything she can throw to try to stop this contest now and Jenna is being forced to cover up now as the fight looks to be turning in a massive way.
A stray punch from Jenna catches Jessica in that swollen eye and a cut appears above her eyebrow as the ref yells stop! and forces her to get checked on.
Smith protests as she was close to winning in her mind and has to be forced by the ref who doesn't like the looks of it.
The doctor checks and waves for the fight to be stopped as Jessica looks to protest but on closer inspection, her eye is nearly shut and the cut was the final straw.

Winner: Jenna Rosenow Doctor Stoppage Round 8

After:
Jessica looks distraught as she walks back towards her stool but surprisingly Jenna is over to her with her own face bruised up and embraces her opponent.
Jenna says "I'm sorry it had to end that way, you gave me hell out there and you deserve a rematch"
At the moment though, Jessica just wants to cry as her seconds clean her face and both sets of seconds pull their fighters stools close so both women can chat while being checked and cleaned up.

After their gloves are taken off, Jessica holds Jenna's hand up but asks "do you mean it about the rematch, I mean I want to fight you again as I'm sure I was going to win"
Smiling as she replies "yes I mean it, you fought honourably and I want to know if you would have beaten me at the end there as that was close"
Jessica gives Jenna a big hug and both women look towards the waves, before Smith adds "care for a quick dip then I remember sunbathing was on the timetable"
Jenna jogs off too tired to run shouting "last one in the water has to buy the drinks at the card after party!"
Both start jogging to the water as a rematch will happen but a bond was formed on that beach.
