BEFORE: Kacey Barnfield impressed on her BBU debut when she knocked out Brooke Vincent back in June and she has full support of the Wembley Arena here tonight facing the Merseyside's redhead Natasha Hamilton who returns to action after a terrible beating at the hands of Fleur East six months ago. The former Atomic Kitten singer failed to back up her epic win over Girls Aloud's Nicola Roberts last fall and Denise van Outen believes she's back to the jobber pool even though Kacey tried to be polite ahead of the fight and calls the redhead: "A tough nut to crack!"

Perhaps Kacey still feels a little overwhelmed by the BBU occassion but she blew the doors off Vincent and most of the partisan London audience wants a swift repeat which would vault the Enfield-born brunette into serious newcomer contention. Some rumours link Barnfield into a fight against Helen George before too long and Hannah Ware announced herself among bantamweight competition with a jaw-dropping KO of veteran Marion Cotillard to create further divisional noise herself. Even Denise van Outen sounds a little puzzled when talking about all the new names breaking BBU ground lately.

Kacey Barnfield wears a black bikini top, red hotpants and red gloves. Black hair tied in a custom ponytail. Natasha Hamilton wears a white bikini top, navy blue knickers and matching blue gloves. Red hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Natasha tries to make it competitive from the opening bell as she's fallen behind early in most of her fights but Kacey displays supreme confidence and a rangy jabbing assault that forced the redhead into a deep cover instead. More problems for Hamilton follow as she gets nailed on the ribcage and wobbles onto her heels when the brunette leans on her and keeps digging leather around her elbows. Natasha looks for a clinch here already but eats a quick uppercut on the jaw and falls back onto the ropesw where Kacey traps her with another jabbing frenzy and shuts out in impressive fashion for remainder of the round.

Round 2:
Barnfield is very much the quicker of the two across the canvas and Hamilton struggles to make her high guard work; the brunette snaps her head around repeatedly in the opening minute before a belting drive on the ribcage bends the redhead into a moaning struggle. She throws several single shots just to keep Kacey at bay but a drilling hook on the temple drops the coverage for good and Natasha wobbles into a stuffing uppercut on the chin THAT SENDS HER DOWN on her backside moments later! Denise van Outen shakes her head in disgust as it looks like the Atomic Kitten punchbag show is back on tour here! All too easy for the London-born actress but of course the Wembley Arena crowd is getting exactly what they came her for! Natasha tries to shake off the knockdown and shouts back at her opponent however Barnfield is back into beast mode and stalks the singer around the ring for remainder of the round; Hamilton does well to keep the mid range safety but looks spooked out there and unable to mount any significant attacks at this stage.

Round 3:
Kacey forces the power assault in close range and clips the redhead's chin again but for once the singer blasts a proper hooking cross and nails the brunette on the nose herself. Barnfield scowls in anger after soaking up that one yet her response bounces off the redhead's gloves and both women lock each other in a lenghty clinch thereafter. Kacey punches herself into open space with a jabbing drive to the singer's guts but struggles for accuracy in mid range and allows Natasha to bide her time in hectic but successful defense. The crowd urges the local girl to stalk the Merseyside redhead again but Barnfield can only land scattered single shots up the middle and needs to adjust her aggressive plan; her inexperience clearly shows here as she can't enforce her rules in the ring anymore.

Round 4:
Natasha remains happy fighting from the back foot - still looking spooked to risk it all out there following that knockdown - but Kacey finally secures the hooking connection when she bangs a couple of juicy strikes on the temples. Hamilton sinks on her knees but proudly fires back only to miss her hooking drive AND GET NAILED with a monster hook from the left... Ugh! Kacey almost chops her down with a single shot but the damage is done as Natasha trips back to the ropes whimpering in pain... AND BARNFIELD LETS IT RIP!!! She leaps straight into the singer's face with a batting series that snaps the red ponytail around her neck. And the gloves simply sink by the wayside so the brunette cashes in with the home run... she shuts Natasha's eyes cold and WRENCHES her down onto the ground... Unbelievable... Natasha is ragdolled in the corner and is aching her heart out with eyes closed... That was some power supply from the Londoner and the singer's squeals are soon overcome by the crowd's rampant ovation! Just no way back from this! KO4 Kacey Barnfield in ass-kicking fashion!!!

AFTER: Denise van Outen is impressed up in the booth and that's a rare sight when it comes to newcomers like Barnfield these days. Of course Natasha Hamilton is a known bantam roster liability but she did beat Nicola Roberts last year which turned some heads. No such luck here in London tonight as Kacey dished out a beating to put the whole division on notice! This was perhaps even more impressive than Helen George's destruction of Jaime Murray the other day.

Meanwhile Kacey is simply over the moon with her performance tonight! She gives the fallen redhead a quick look but that's one smoking Merseyside heap down there and the Enfield lass wants more action sooner rather than later: "Well, yeah, I almost feel sorry for her! This was pure fun but so was Brooke Vincent! I'm tired of Helen George making all the news with her KO success lately so what about me? I smoked that Scouse tramp tonight and I'm sure many people out there will be SCARED of me now! But I don't mind! I will conquer this division sooner than you know it! That's a fact! After all, who's gonna stop me?"

Denise van Outen can think of few names who could give Kacey a serious run for her money but it's perhaps natural a newcomer with a 2-0 record gets a little carried away: "It's always the first defeat that silences them the most! Of course some of them spring right back like Freddy Kruger but some are never to be seen in the elite prospects again. George, Ware and now Barnfield have made plenty of noise but which one of them is truly the best, remains unknown for the time being. Let's just enjoy the new talent and see what happens when their egos become too much of an issue!"

Final result: Kacey Barnfield def. Natasha Hamilton KO4.
