(Girls Friday vs Kear's Kat's)

Intro:
The last bout before the main event sees Kelly Gale take on Daisy Lowe with both looking to win to get their careers back on track.
Kelly started her career with two wins but she has since lost her last two to Nadia Forde and fellow countrywoman Helena Mattsson.
Questions have been asked about the speed of her push as she is still only 21 and has a lot to learn in the actual ring.
While Daisy Lowe has flattered to deceive in her own career, starting off well in the ring, she's lost the last two fights in her career herself to Jourdan Dunn and Yasmin Verheijin.
Interestingly, she is a former member of the Girls Friday stable herself but she left over four years ago and unlike Elizabeth Tan, she doesn't hold any grudges to the current management there.

At the press conference, both women shared a hug and kissed the others cheek before Kelly went to the podium to speak and Daisy sat down to hear her speak.
"OK so I'll admit, my learning curve hit a roadblock early in my career" Kelly says as she looks slightly upset to think about her losses.
But she grows a hint of a smile before continuing "those bouts taught me so much though, with Nadia; I've had to work on my strength as she made me realise I'm not the strongest in the division and more importantly to me I have a girl I can call my sister from another family"
Putting her fist on the table like she wants to punch it, Kelly adds "I also lost to Helena and I had her beat, that was the worst day of my life, I respect Helena and I'd be full of crap to pretend I hate her but I have to fight her someday when I have earned that right again and I will beat her."
Realising she's heading off her job of promoting this fight and with Daisy looking annoyed, Kelly says "Daisy I like her a lot as she's always the girl to talk to at parties but I know that even with her record lately, she is one tough woman, so this is certainly no cake walk for me and I don't want it to be"
Allowing Daisy to go to the podium, the two women smile as they go past each other.
Daisy begins her speech by saying "thanks for the kind words Kelly, you've always been the one to watch at parties for whoever you're pranking"
Both laugh before Daisy continues "I lost to that big bytch Dunn and that lucky bytch Yasmin what do you call her? But Kelly I will kick your arse babe if it gets me to the top, so nothing personal OK?"
Kelly nods as the two go for the stare down and the Swede is right in the face of her English opponent to show that this is going to be a war.
Both separate and look at each other seriously, before being ushered to the back for the final pairing to talk.

Fighting time at Gateshead international stadium, Kelly is out first in a yellow sports bra, Blue trunks and blue gloves, her hair is tied back into a ponytail as she looks her supermodel best.
In her corner is Lauren Berlingeri and Kelly gets a surprise as Nadia Forde is there as well with a beaming smile, the two friends share a massive hug as Nadia wishes her friend good luck and tells her that she'll be supporting her.
Out comes Daisy, she's wearing a black sports bra with red trim and is wearing some tight black shorts that show her powerful legs, she completes the look with black gloves and has her own hair tied back.
In her corner stands Gail Kim as her coach and they hoped Michelle Heston would be with them but after her own bout that isn't possible.
Both fighters stare hard at each other, as any friendship they have is placed on hold so they can get down to business and fight.
Coming to the ring centre, both square up early to each other and it looks like the fighting will be starting early as they push each other with their bodies.
But calming down, they step back from each other and simply go forehead to forehead while the instructions are being read out.
Touching gloves, the two turn their backs on each other to return to their corners to wait for the bell to begin 10 rounds of lightweight boxing.

Round 1:
Out quickly come the fighters and it's an early slugfest as both are desperate not to have another loss on their records.
Kelly seems to be getting the worst of the early going as Daisy has a slight height advantage, allowing the Cockney lass to step back slightly out the range of the Swede to pound her head.
Daisy is coming on the front foot as Kelly is weathering the early storm it seems now, her guard is up as Lowe is throwing one/two combos that are pressing Gale backwards.
Kelly manages to get to the body of Daisy after the latter misses a right cross and the tanned beauty makes her pay with a nice quick fire combo.
But Daisy shoves her back and lands her own shots to the face of the slightly unbalanced Kelly to knock her head back.
The bell rings not long after with the two women still going at it and as the ref shoves them apart, neither looks friendly to the other at this moment.

Round 2:
Kelly has been told what to do by Lauren in a heated discussion as Nadia looks on worried by her friends tactics, while Gail tells Daisy to keep the pressure on.
Back out the fighters come and Daisy seems to be following her script as Kelly keeps blindly trying to brawl with Lowe, as if she is trying to prove a point about her toughness.
Instead she's been pressed to outside of the ring by Daisy, who is looking more confident by the second thanks to her opponent being too stubborn to change styles.
Kelly is bleeding from her lips after a particular hard straight to her mouth, snaps her head backwards and now she's pinned to the ropes.
Being forced to clinch, Kelly looks super frustrated by what is happening to her by her opponent.
Daisy looks focused as she bangs away to the kidneys of Kelly to force the issue between the two friends in this highly charged contest.
Getting separated, Kelly is right up against Daisy again in a mindless slugfest that sees both women get hurt in different ways.
Kelly is looking uncomfortable when her lip is being targeted and Daisy is being pounded to the body, causing both to groan.
The bell rings with the two women still looking to rumble but they control their emotions better after the first round chaos between the two.

Round 3:
After another argument with Lauren, Kelly seems to calm down when Nadia explains why Lauren is right and the Swede whispers to her friend something as Nadia nods.
Kelly seems to have accepted she has to use her skills instead of fighting Daisy's type of fight to prove something to herself maybe or to the fans.
Out her toes much more now, Kelly is fighting on the back foot but she's using her skills to let Daisy come forward as she has been but instead of squaring up to her and being forced backwards.
Instead Kelly is moving around, using her quick fists to score up top on Daisy's beautiful face to rock the bigger woman's head.
Daisy's defence doesn't seem to have improved from her last fight and now Kelly is taking her time and using her skills, it's showing those flaws again that are making Gail Kim shout at her fighter in embarrassment at her not learning her own mistakes.
Kelly continues to shine till the bell with Daisy's face looking reddened up from all the clean shots she took to the face.

Round 4:
Again Kelly is dictating the pace of the contest and is now looking the better fighter as she's getting clipped by a few jabs.
But the younger woman is connecting with more cleaner punches and looks back to her old self as she boxes in and out of the range of Lowe.
A hard combo from Kelly really hurts Daisy as Lowe lifts her glove up to her eye and sees some blood on her glove from a cut under her eye.
That makes the English fighter even more desperate with her actions as she comes forward with her hands flying wildly to try to score something.
Kelly has to move around her opponent to escape out of the way and throw some drilled jabs to that cut when she gets a chance.
The ref orders the doctor to take a look, he cleans the cut so he can judge how bad it is and deems it OK to continue.
Off go the fighters again and Daisy continues to be the aggressor but is being simply outboxed due to her reckless nature.
The bell rings and Gail Kim is in the ring to argue with Daisy, Kelly smirks devilishly as she returns to her corner, which is much calmer than it was in the earlier rounds.

Round 5:
Out come the fighters and Daisy is clipped straight away to that cut, which is getting worse with each punch it's taking.
But Daisy won't protect it or doesn't know how to properly if her last few fights are anything to go off.
The ref has to call a time out for the cut to be checked again by the doctor, again he says it's OK but even he is telling Daisy to protect it
The fight is on again and Kelly is starting to come forward now as Lowe seems to be preoccupied with her wounded eye now she's been warned about it.
Kelly goes to the body now Daisy as has her guard right up to her face and now Gale can reap the reward from her early round work as she pounds at the stomach of the English girl.
Down goes Daisy to a knee as she looks shot, her gumshield is spat out so she can breath and her wounded eye is looking bad with the blood trickling down her cheek.
The ref reaches 8 before Daisy is up to her feet and she gets an extra rest by getting a new gumshield put in before the ref will allow the fight to start again.
But it's not long till Kelly pounds away to the body again and a straight to the liver area of Daisy has her down to her knees in agony.
The ref counts but Daisy isn't even looking at him as she's badly winded and spits her gumshield out again and this time she doesn't rise to beat the count.

Winner: Kelly Gale KO Round 5

After:
Kelly is straight down to her knees to check Daisy isn't badly hurt, Daisy nods as she can't speak at the moment as she catches her breath.
She's giving oxygen from the ringside medics to get her air back as Kelly is patted on the back by Nadia and Lauren before they congratulate her on winning.
After Daisy is breathing more freely, her and Kelly come together and have a quick heart to heart as they share a few tears after they confirm there's no hard feelings on either side and hug it out.
Gail isn't particularly happy as she hasn't had the friendliest of relationships with the Girls Friday stable, especially with Taryn Terrell in the past.
But Daisy doesn't care about the Stable boundaries at the opponent as she raises Kelly's hand before she leaves the ring with Gail, who can be heard arguing with her stablemate about the fight and everything after.

Kelly is handed a microphone from Nadia, who is smiling like a Cheshire cat since she's so happy for her friend and the girl she views as a sister in this business and world.
"Please can you give Daisy a hand, she is one tough woman and I love you Lowe" says Kelly to a good round of applause.
Before she adds "that wasn't a perfect fight but I'm back on the win board and hopefully I can keep this momentum this time around, so no fighting you Nadia!"
Nadia lifts her fists up and pretends she wants to go now before she starts laughing and winking at her friend, who is laughing with her.
"Nadia you owe me a drink after we support Sara in her fight OK, it's pub crawl night for us girls and well some of us are single guys" she winks to the camera at that last bit that has Lauren shaking her head, while Nadia and Kelly start play fighting in the ring then all three leave the ring together so Sara Sampaio can get her fight on the road.
