(Girls Friday vs Free Agent)

Intro:
Fourth bout on the card sees Poppy Drayton have her second bout against the girl who people claim she took the spot of in the Girls Friday stable when cuts and signings were being made.
The press release for the cuts stated that Elizabeth Tan was cut due to poor results and the fact that she jumped past her boundaries to start a fight with Doda, which she subsequently went on to lose in poor fashion.
At the press conference, when asked about taking Tan's spot, Poppy tried to be diplomatic in her answer "I'm sorry about the timing as I think me and Elizabeth could have become friends but it just happened that she went and I got hired at the same time frame"
Of course Elizabeth doesn't see it that way and shouts "bullshit! You were sucking off Harry or doing something because I shouldn't have gotten the sack for you!"
Poppy looks on in disbelief as she can't believe these accusations being made about her and she replies "you know that's a lie, I only met Harry the day before you were released"
Elizabeth laughs as stands up and she says "Harry should have let's us fight for the spot on the gym mats as I would have torn you to bits bytch"
Grabbing a glass of water, Tan throws it over Drayton to the delight of the media.
Poppy looks even more stunned as she pulls her wet hair from her face and slaps Elizabeth on instinct more than wanting to get down and dirty will her rival.
Both women pull each other around for a bit before they are separated and the Asian beauty looks like she's scored the first point between the two women as Poppy has to get changed in the back from her beautiful black dress that's soaked to grey sweat pants and a grey hoodie.

Fight night in Gateshead stadium, Poppy is out first and she looks stunning in a light blue sports bra and shorts, she has matching gloves and shoes, as the crowd give her a good cheer.
Out comes Elizabeth on a mission, she's wearing a red sports bra and shorts in her red gloves, she's carrying a Sunderland scarf, as even though she's not a Mackem, she's trying to prove a point that she doesn't care about this crowd or her former stable.
Getting into the ring, she is met by Poppy; who normally is friendly with everyone she meets but Elizabeth has got her angry.
Tan just stares with one of the cockiest grins you will ever see after the way she humiliated the younger woman and the one she blames for her losing her spot in the stable.
The ref prys both apart before the action starts early, he waves for both to touch gloves but neither does as they stare angrily at each other.
Poppy returns to her corner to be greeted by her best friend Ivana and Coach Taryn Terrell, while Elizabeth is chatting with her new coach.
10 rounds of bantamweight action starts now.

Round 1:
Elizabeth is out quickly as she tries to swarm Poppy, evidently she thinks this is her vest strategy to unnerve her opponent and take her out.
But Drayton is moving out the way of this uncoordinated attack and counter punching to the delight of the Geordie audience.
Elizabeth gets cracked to her jaw and looks wobbly as she did against Doda in her last fight, this time she manages to clinch to keep Poppy from knocking her out as early.
The Asian looks like she realises she has dropped an absolute clanger as they get separated and Poppy works her way to the inside of the tame punches of Tan to get back to the body.
Down goes Elizabeth! She is stunned on her back as the crowd roar with delight at the sight in front of them, even the normally calm Drayton thumps her chest as she's lost to her emotions.
Elizabeth manages to get up at 8 but looks shaky as the ref checks her over, he allows the fight to continue but Poppy bashes Tan back to the ropes straight away.
It's like watching a bear maul away at its prey as the ref steps in with Elizabeth just hanging onto the ropes to stop herself going down to the canvas.

Winner: Poppy Drayton TKO Round 1

After:
The Girls Friday management must be grinning as Poppy has made all the statement they need to show why one fighter was brought in and the other was shipped out.
Poppy gets the biggest cheer of the night so far as Ivana hugs her tight and tells her how good she looked after all the training they did together for tonights event.
Elizabeth doesn't seem to even gasp what is happening around her as her trainers help her to a stool and the doctor has to check her over before they take her out the ring for further tests.
The biggest boo of the night greets Tan as she is going to the back and Poppy doesn't like to smile at someone else's misfortune but her opponent did bring that reaction on herself.

Ivana helps her friend with her gloves before Poppy gets a microphone to speak her mind to her supporters in Gateshead.
"Thank you so much for that cheer, while I'm not from here, you've taken me to your heart and it saddens me to think that Elizabeth would act the way she did"
The crowd but the mention of Elizabeth's name but hush down when Poppy is continuing her speech.
"I will continue to defend myself to those who think I am weak, I'll show you what I can do in this ring with my friends and with your support"
Poppy lives the ring and blows kisses to the crowd as she goes, more a fight to prove a point then to advance the skills of Poppy, sterner test needed in the young fighters career.
