(Girls Friday vs Free agent)

Intro:
The main event sees Sara Sampaio return to the ring for her biggest challenge to date as she fights Miriam Leone.
Sara is 2 and 0 against the same girl in Natalie Gumede in hard fought battles as the two women are like chalk and cheese.
For Miriam, her career has been a story of ups and downs to say the least, the 31 year old is the Italian welterweight champion but her record over the last few years has been a losing one.
But she can say she won her last fight against the rookie Laura Barriales to record her first win in three years.
These two have one think that links them together you could say, Jessica Michibata fought Miriam on her debut earlier this year and now Jessica is a stablemate of Sara, so she has inside information on how to beat the Italian legend.

At the press conference, Sara and Miriam looked respectful of each other to be polite but there was no warm feelings between the two as they shook hands and asked how the other was before going to there seats.
Sara was asked to speak first at the podium, Sara was looking good as she stood up to the podium and gave a warm smile to the crowd.
After a journalist shouts "do you feel left behind by your Victoria Angel stablemates?!"
Sara looks stunned as she wasn't expecting questions but quickly settles herself to reply "I'm happy for my sisters, we came into the BBU together and we'll see this through to the end together, so if you're expecting a scoop of me and Kelly arguing in the showers or me and Alessandra taking sparring too far, it isn't going to happen ok?"
The journalist looks down as he hoped to get some dirty little secret out the mouth of Sampaio, who is glaring at the same guy.
Composing herself, Sara says "what I was going to say was, Miriam is going to be my toughest test, she isn't a pushover by any means and she has the heart to prove it"
Turning to look at Leone "but I plan on kicking your ass around that ring to show the world that I belong here"
Miriam is led to the podium and smirks down at Sara before saying "I think Sara is cute and she has shown she wants this but she's not the girl to watch for, instead wait till I whoop you around the ring and tell me which one of us two is the better woman"
The room suddenly feels cold as ice cool stares are exchanged by the fighters and respect for the other is quickly being replaced by anger.
The stare down is hard as both women are nose to nose and words can be heard being exchanged and they are not friendly before they are led away from each other.

Fight night in Gateshead international stadium, Sara is out first and being a proud Portuguese girl, she is wearing a Portugal football top with Euro champs 16 on the back to celebrate her countries victory.
Taking the top off to the delight of the Geordie crowd, she reveals a maroon bikini top and tight shorts and she gets dark red gloves put on to complete her attire.
Out comes Miriam wearing an Italian top, the crowd would probably pay to watch these two come out and play for Gateshead football team every week.
Miriam takes the top off to reveal she has a light blue bikini top and tight shorts as she gets matching coloured gloves on to complete her look.
The ref orders both women to come to the ring centre, neither woman blinks as they stare at each other hard till the order to touch gloves, both do but it's a hard swipe as they back away with eyes still locked.
10 rounds of lightweight boxing starts now.

Round 1:
Both have their guards high and are circling each other on their toes as they try to gauge how the other is going to fight this bout.
The much more experienced Miriam seems to take the lead in this vicious dance to use her slight reach advantage to poke her jab out to test the waters.
Sara is trying to match her opponent but that inch is surprisingly enough for Leone in work with as she moves out the way of her younger opponent and keeps the jab coming.
The crowd is waiting for the tempers of both to boil over and the fight to get serious between these two as the stern looks on both women's faces show how focused they are on hurting each other.
Sara does finally get inside the reach of Miriam, who swiftly knocks her back after a quick trade of punches between the two.
The young fighter looks to be starting to simmer as Miriam keeps her at bay till the bell and the two share another ice cold stare before jogging back to their corners.

Round 2:
Miriam is after keeping that same range again but Sara is working her way to the inside to chip away at the body of Leone.
The Italian girl is starting to simmer now as she shoves Sampaio away to create space again to work her jab back into the fight.
Sara forces an exchange and Miriam takes some hard shots to her body but her experience shows as she lands several clean punches to the head of the Portuguese fighter.
Surprisingly to the crowd down goes Sara to her bum as Miriam raises her fists to the audience and has a wide smile.
It was a hard hook that caught Sampaio to the chin and rattled her down to the canvas.
The ref is up to 8 as Sara milks the count to get up, maybe she's hurt badly as the ref checks her over and let's the fight continue on.
Sara is retreating as the crowd watch closely to see what is going to happen, Sampaio has to clinch up to her opponent, which doesn't help the cause of covering she's hurt.
The ref gets them apart and Sara is sticking to the outside as Miriam stalks her around the ring, looking for the shot to end it.
Miriam manages to get Sara to the ropes as a furious exchange occurs and the bell rings with the two women still going at it till the ref can physically stop them.

Round 3:
Well that was certainly the worse round Sara has had in her short career to date, Miriam is looking her confident self so maybe her last win got her that fire back she had in her early career.
Sara is still trying to get to the inside but is looking slightly nervous as the first time in her life, she was really hurt by someone.
Miriam continues to press the action as she keeps the pressure up and is waiting for a lapse in Sara's guard to knock her down and hopefully out this time.
Instead Sara is keeping her guard tight and she's accepting the jabs on her gloves as she is in contemplation mode.
Trying to get to the inside again but last time led to her being put down, Miriam is just happy to keep the range and the bell goes with Leone fist pumping to the crowd as she feels she's broken Sara's spirit.

Round 4:
Sara looks to be boiling now after the way Miriam has been acting, now she's moving quickly to get to the body of Leone as that is where they evidently think Sampaio will stop her.
Miriam keeps shoving her back to create space to jab away again but this time Sara is moving her head out the way of the counter punches being thrown when she is darting inside.
When she does get inside, she is almost shoulder tackling Miriam backwards as she uses her body to push Miriam to unbalance her then plough her fist deep into the stomach of the Italian.
Miriam now clinches up with Sara as she complains to the ref about the shoving, even though she has got away with her own brand of pushing.
The ref warns both girls as they are separated and they look at each other with looks of you started it.
Getting back to fighting, Sara is showing she can be hurt and come back as she is getting clipped to the head but is still coming forward till the bell, where both women shove each other before going to get back at each other if not for the ref.

Round 5:
Miriam is trying to get back on her own front foot in a big way as the REO fighters are squared up to each other and throwing hard punches.
Sara is knocked back to the ropes again as she can't match power with this bigger woman and is forced to clinch up with Leone.
The grappling gets vicious as they press forearms against the others face when they wrestle each other to the ropes.
Again the ref pulls them apart and warns them to keep the action professional and not street fighting as he forces them to touch gloves again.
Sara has her freedom to move again though as she gets back to the inside and Miriam is starting to look in pain from all the body shots she's taking.
The Portuguese fighter is taking the fight to her bigger opponent and Miriam is starting to just look for any sort of chance to hit her opponent now as Sara looks to in full control of the contest after a bad start.
The bell rings and Sara bangs her gloves together and shouts "I can go all night bytch" as Miriam squares up to her and the ref is getting sick of this as he warns both fighters that a point will be coming off soon if they keep this up and he'll disqualify either of then if it gets worse.

Round 6:
Sara is really getting her punches to score as she works her way in to attack her opponent, while Miriam is looking a little shaky mentally as she can't land her punches to great effect.
Digging into the Italians body, grunts escape the lips of Miriam as she tries to fight back but is clipping more then landing clean punches.
Clinching up, the two wrestle a bit but nothing to the early rounds as the ref shouts for a break and Miriam has to do as asked in case she gets a point off her score.
Miriam manages to land a good combo to the head of Sara but the power seems to be waning as Sampaio takes the punches and gets back to the bruising body of her opponent.
Her face is starting to curl up in pain but Leone won't go down as she continues to try to hold Sara to stop the assault to her body and Sampaio is trying to rip her red gloves through the body of her opponent to her back.
A hard cross to the side of Miriam's body forces her to take a knee as the crowd cheer.
Sara quickly retreats to a neutral corner as the ref begins his count and is up to 8 as Miriam is up and taking as big a gulps of air as she can to refill the tank.
Now Leone is in retreat mode as she keeps her jab out in front of her and grabs on to Sara to stop getting hurt again till the bell.

Round 7:
Miriam is on the back foot, looking to catch Sara coming in, who is waving Miriam forward as she knows she's hurt the big woman and needs a clean shot to end this fight.
Ducking, waiving and doing anything to get inside, luckily for Sara that Miriam isn't anywhere as mobile as she was in the early rounds so she is able to get back to work on the inside and it's not long till Miriam is down again.
Holding her ribs from a hard two hook combo to them, Miriam is gasping slightly on the canvas as her eyes show that she won't quit.
Making it up at 9 to the dismay of Sara, the crowd are happy to see the two keep going as the ref finishes his checks and waves the two to fight.
Its not long till a piercing straight has Miriam knocked back into the ropes and she's basically sitting in the ropes as the ref steps between the fighters and waves the fight off.

Winner: Sara Sampaio TKO Round 7

After:
Sara pumps her arms up in the air to celebrate as Miriam is helped to a stool to recover after that beating she received at the end.
Kelly Gale, Alessandra Ambrosio and Joan Smalls all come out to celebrate with Sara, who is sore but happy to see her Victoria Angel sisters.
Having a group hug, Sara steps away for a moment and says "just give me a minute guys" before she heads over to Miriam's corner.
The two women give each other the same hard stare they've had from the beginning of the fight as Sara leans down and whispers "you got your ass handed to you bytch"
Then she stands right up to Miriam so her sweaty torso pressed against her rivals face as she raises her arms to the crowd to prove her point.

Miriam is helped out the ring as Sara waves her goodbye and is handed a microphone to speak to the crowd.
"I hope you guys enjoyed that, I know I did!" Shouts Sara as she wipes her tummy as an insult to Miriam's face being there moments ago.
Waving her Angel sisters to come to her, she adds "I was asked if I'm jealous of these girls and what they are accomplishing, the answers no and always will be"
Pointing at each of her friends she continues "these are the women who will shake the BBU to it's core and I'll be beside them the entire way, so anybody wants us, call us and we'll kick your asses bytches!"
All the Victoria Angels raise their arms to the crowd in a show of power and unity before Alessandra and Joan being the freshest, lift up Sara and Kelly to the crowd before they all live the ring hand in hand to show you can't come between these four women.
