(Girls Friday vs Fight Club U.K)

Intro:
The second fight in the Melanie Sykes retirement tour sees her in Scotland's Hampton park against Scottish lass Dawn Porter.
Neither of these women like each other as Melanie has claimed in social circles that Dawn has ripped her look off for years.
While Dawn of course will tell you her style is retro and that Melanie is a dinosaur more then anything retro.
Rumours state they've even come to blows before but before it got serious they were broken up as the hate being these two is intense.
In Mel's first fight, she lost to her friend Tara Moss in Newcastle but people thinking that she'll be booed in Scotland have to know that Dawn has lived with husband Chris O'Dowd in L.A for the past few years and the Scottish are not big fans of people who brag about being from there but never stepping foot in the place.

At the press conference, Melanie was up first wearing a black shirt and skirt with matching heels and went straight on the attack "finally you bytch, I can kick the F*** out if you for being the most obvious copycat I've ever seen"
Lifting her shirt off to show her abs, she adds "but at least there's one thing you didn't copy you fat f***ing bytch"
That sets things off as Dawn takes her own top off and throws it at Melanie while shouting "no fat on me bytch" then the two are in each others face screaming at each other.
Soon both are pulling each others short black hair as it's one of the major points of contention between these two before they are pulled apart while shouting abuse at the other.

Fight night and out comes Melanie to a mixed reaction, some English supporters have crossed the boarder and some of the locals back her against the traitorous Dawn but most Scots can't bring themselves to cheer an English lass and are raining boos at her.
She's wearing a black sports bra and shorts to go with her gloves as she looks toned as she always does to the envy of lots of people, even at the age of 46.
Dawn comes out to the other side of a mixed crowd reaction, she goes straight up to Kirsty Gallacher, who is on commentary to say "this is how they support someone whose done better for herself than the rest of them?"
Kirsty is seen shaking her head at her fellow countrywoman as maybe a fight is brewing between those two as Gallacher even mouths the word "bytch" behind Dawn and so she doesn't get fired off her BBU T.V job.
Dawn is wearing navy blue gear that's the same as Melanie's gear but even though she is a whole 9 years younger, she doesn't seem to be in the same class fitness wise and this being her first fight in four years doesn't help one bit.
The ref has been told to not bother with a glove touch in case the fighters decide they want to star before the bell.
10 rounds of welterweight action starts now.

Round 1:
Out come the fighters and straight away it's bedlam as they are going for each other with some hard shots and not much defence in this opening round.
That seems to be a bad mistake for Dawn as Melanie is snapping her head back under some more cleaner punches to the face.
Porter is backing off and is nearly in full retreat already as Melanie starts to swarm over her with some wide shots to try and connect with a knock out punch already.
But as she starts missing and Dawn is surprisingly getting in some crisp counter punches, Mel backs off and the crowd are loving the shocking fast action through the early part of the round.
The pace slows down as neither could keep that up for even just the round then the entire fight.
Dawn seems much steadier now and is using her jab quite well till Mel comes on the front foot and the Scottish fighter just hasn't the strength it seems to keep her off her.
Clinching up, Mel can be heard whispering "I f***img hate you" before Dawn replies "like wise bytch" and the two trade kidney punches till the ref pulls them apart.
The bell rings not long after with Melanie looking like she wants to keep going but Dawn taunting says "sit down bytch, I'll knock you out soon enough"

Round 2:
Mel is moving quickly on the front foot making you think she is the younger woman as Dawn just doesn't seem confident in the ring.
The piercing punches to her face are certainly not making her any more comfortable and she is starting to retreat into her guard more then actually fighting it out with someone she hates.
Kirsty comments with some venom "maybe these two should have had a pillow fighters, that way Dawn wouldn't be backing away or maybe she would"
Melanie is measuring her opponent with the jab then using it to work out her next move which seems to involve attacking the body of Dawn.
In desperation at what's happening, Dawn comes forward and does land a good right hook but she leaves her body open to a straight punch to the centre of her solar plexus.
Down goes Dawn; she's holding her stomach as she spits her gum shield out to suck in as much air as she can.
While Sykes is shouting "get up bytch!" As she paces in a corner and you can see how much hate she has for this other girl.
Dawn makes it up at 8 but her face shows the pain she's in as she's still breathing hard, lucky for her that the ref has to order her to get a fresh gum shield in.
Mel is right back on her but isn't going for the body like she should do to end this, instead she's going right for the face of Dawn with some thunderous straights.
If the bell didn't ring, Dawn could well have been knocked out but the damage is there as blood is running from a cut on the nose of Porter, to the delight of some fans, while some just want to boo Melanie who doesn't seem to bat an eyelid at them.

Round 3:
Again Melanie just seems to be taking her time, not rushing to take her obviously hurt opponent out of the fight completely.
Instead she's taunting Dawn by saying "you'll always be my inferior copy you bytch!" Then snapping a jab to that nose that has Dawn running backwards to stop the assault.
The ref is warning her to fight or the next time she shows any sort of submission, he'll end it.
Dawn feebly looks at the crowd who are urging her to keep fighting and Kirsty mocking says "well the crowd want an underdog to bite back but I think her teeth have been pulled or she's been fixed down below"
Porter tries to put up a fight in a hard exchange of punches but she has to back up slightly as her nose is throbbing with pain.
Mel decides she needs to end it her way before the ref gets involved and stops it.
Cracking a hook across the jugs of Dawn to lower her guard as the Scottish fighter isn't thinking properly, the next hook lands on the side of Dawn's head knocking her down.
Dawn is on her side as the gumshield comes out again but she is too hurt to get up this time as the ref gets up to 10 without the Scot doing much to get herself up.

Winner: Melanie Sykes KO Round 3

After:
Mel is straight over to her opponent before any medics can get in the ring and she kneels over her opponent so she can get right into her face.
"I hope this is the end of your career you bytch, you will always be the cheap option if people can't get me, so remember that next time you open your mouth because I can shut it up anytime I want" says Mel threateningly as she puts her glove under the chin of Dawn to prove her point.
The ref has been pleading for her to get off of Dawn for the past minute, Mel does get up but not before she places a foot on the jugs of Dawn to pose for photographs and footage she'll want a copy of from the BBU T.V cameras.

Kirsty Gallacher enters the ring and stares down at Dawn, who is finally being treated by a doctor and it takes all of Gallaghers strength not to spit in Porters face for being a bytch in her eye's and as a proud Scottish woman.
After Mel gets her face washed and her gloves taken off, Kirsty shakes the hand of Sykes before she starts her interview with the winner.
"Wow you certainly kicked her arse, coming into this fight, did you worry at all about Dawn?" Asks Kirsty as Mel laughs.
Before she replies "did I look worried? Put it this way, I respect you Kirsty because you are a strong woman, if we arm wrestled we would be going awhile to see who would win, Dawn maybe a minute before I snapped her hand on a table"
Pointing at Dawn whose been helped out the ring "she is a lazy copy of me and she's lucky the gloves were on and we were in a ring as I would have seriously injured her without them"
Kirsty nods before asking "well we know that your tour still has three dates and threes venues, where to next?"
Mel smiles as she answers "well it is Wales, the Liberty Stadium to be precise and I can announce the next opponent will be a girl I respect a lot, she's very similar to me in a good way and it's a shame we have to fight now instead of ten years ago as we would have been great rivals to spur each other on"
Looking at the camera, she says "Tazmin Outhwaite, it's time we box it out babe then I have a special treat for the after party"
Turning to Kirsty, she adds "well Denise said she'll be there but your here now, fancy a pub crawl, I hear you lot can drink but I was the boddington girl remember"
Kirsty joking replies "awhile ago babe, maybe we should have a drinking contest and that loser has to run through the bar nude"
Mel laughs "oh I think me and you are going to be best friends, Denise said she'll be in Wales, maybe her and you should take part at the after party then, Tara Moss said she's coming to our big girls party"
Smiling Kirsty answers "you're on, but if you're fit enough, I might have to challenge you to whatever you have planned for each after party"
Laughing they leave the ring together and wave to the crowd, most who are desperate to find out which bar one of these two will be running nude in after the drinking contest.
