(Written by Girls Friday)

Emily Atack was sitting in the Girls Friday locker room getting changed into her work out gear as she had a pink sports bra and tight matching shorts and was putting her socks and trainers on when Maria Ozawa wandered into the locker room.
Both women had a love/Hate relationship going on, they had fought in the ring a year ago when Maria was a trialist for Front Street Japan and she had humiliated the blonde after she won.
When Maria joined the stable, she had argued with Emily and the two had a frosty relationship.
But with Kelly Hall they had found a common enemy it seemed to break those walls down and they had become close over their mutual hate for her.
As always that thread seemed to snap as both had lost to Kelly and worse for Maria, it had been Emily who threw in the towel to give Ozawa her first loss in her career.
Of course Emily had done it out of compassion for her friend as the unlimited rules bout had taken its toll on the Asian beauty and she couldn't see her getting injured badly.
But Maria had put all the blame on Emily and the two returned to being frosty with each other, with barely a hello passed between the two most weeks.
Today though, Maria was chatty as she turned to Emily as she took her shirt off to reveal a black lace bra to say "you know what's funny?"
Emily looked up with stone cold eyes as she replied "what?"
Maria smirked and as she stepped out her jeans she said "I don't know how after you've been losing fight after fight, you got kept on, Harry must like having a blonde bytch around"
Outside the locker room in the main gym, the girls were all training but stopped as they heard lockers being banged against and insults being screamed.
Melanie Sykes ran into the locker room and caught Maria and Emily locked up and slamming punches into the others body.
Screaming for help, Taryn Terrell, Lauren Berlingeri and Eva Carneiro all ran in to pull the girls apart with Mel as the girls who should have been training were at the door looking in to see what they were missing.
Both girls were dragged to opposite sides of the locker room as they were screaming insults and begging to be let go to fight.
Melanie shook her head and shouted "we're a family here at this stable" but Emily interrupted her "what about the girls you've cut?"
Mel turns to Emily and replies "you know we will do our best to help them outside our stable but we have to do what's best for this gym and sometimes we have to let family members go out into the world on their own and find themselves"
Emily stares at Maria and shouts "why didn't you cut her out then?" Which makes Maria start up again.
Melanie shakes her head and shouts "shut the f*** up you two, you've always had issues and I think it's time we settle this once and for all"
Melanie whispers to Eva something as the new stable physio gets Joan Smalls, Josephine Skriver and Alessandra Ambrosio to come with her out into the gym.
Turning to stand between both women, she says "you two want to brawl, you brawl under my careful watch ladies, Eva is going to set up your arena with those girls, you two will wear mma gloves since I know Harry keeps some in his office for special training but now seems perfect to use them and if I think one of you is getting too badly hurt, I will stop it"
As she heads for the door, she turns and says "since you two are fighting like idiots you two can look stupid and fight in your underwear"
Emily gulps slightly as Maria just laughs and since she's already in her lacy black underwear, she is dragged out to the gym as Emily has Maisie Williams and Ivana Baquero with her as moral support.
Emily walks into the gym in just a pink bra and knickers set, she sees a large area has been cleared and blue mats placed on the floor as their stablemates surround the mats but leave an opening for Emily to enter.
Maria waves her fists now clad in the mma gloves for Emily to come and fight, Mel stops her charging in bare fisted as she places another set of gloves on her hands and Emily steps onto the mats.
The fighters raise their fists as their stablemates urge them to get stuck in since most are sick of hearing them belly ache about the other and the newer girls just want to see a scrap.
Both fighters start off with simple jabs as they test each others defences as they circle slowly.
Maria takes the early lead with some low kicks that jolt Emily, whose not used to this style of fighting.
Emily is knocked back a step with a hard jab, that gets a wide cocky smile on the lips of Maria.
But the blonde fires back as the two women slug it out in close, just pounding each other to the head till they have to disengage and circle each other again.
Both fighters have swelling forming on their cheeks making them puffy and reddish.
As they square up again and then come together, Maria pulls Emily into a muay thai style clinch and hammers knees into the abs of her bitter rival.
Emily can be heard coughing as air is being driven out of her lungs and Maria lets her go to watch her fall to her hands and knees.
Maria is doing a lap of honour, high fiving her stablemates as she thinks Emily is done and looks at Melanie to declare her the winner.
But as she is distracted; Emily like something from a horror movie rises behind the Asian beauty and locks her arms around the throat of Maria in a sleeper hold learned from Taryn Terrell.
She jumps onto Maria's back to scissor her stomach to drive the air from her and knock her unconscious.
Melanie watches closely as Maria goes down to a knee and is pounding her elbow backwards as hard as she can to dislodge her rival from her back.
In the end as her face starts turning red, Maria drives her own body backwards to smack Emily onto the mats with a loud echo going through the gym.
Maria is coughing as she tries to get her breath back, while Emily lays stunned on her back from that last impact.
Melanie gets two bottles of water and quickly jogs onto the mats to give the fighters the water.
Maria drinks a little to clear her throat and pours some over herself to keep her body cool as Emily drinks a bit and spits the rest out.
Melanie kneels between the two and asks "do you want to continue this mess or is that the end?"
Neither answers verbally as they stare at each other to see how the other will answer but the cold looks they give show this is far from over.
Melanie shakes her head and says "keep going then, I honestly don't care how you sort this out but it ends today"
As she leaves the mats, the fighters are getting to their knees when they start punching each other on their knees.
It's like they are taking turns as one slams a hard right hook across the others lips, the other attacks with a left hook.
Until both fighters grapple with each other as blood runs down from cut lips and bloody noses.
"I hate you" whispers Emily as Maria replies "not as much as I hate you" before she headbutts the blonde and falls back to her heels shaking her head.
Maria thinks "what the hell have I done to myself" as she tried to stop the stars floating around her head from the impact.
Emily certainly isn't much better as she collapses to her back in a stunned state once again.
Lauren and Taryn are going to pull the two women off the mats and call this a draw till Melanie waves them back and waits to see what is going to happen now.
Their stablemates are in a feverpitch, trying to rally both women up to fight it out as some women who've had arguments in the gym look at each other and think should I get Mel to put us on these mats together so I can kick her ass.
Only Eva stands shocked at the brutality of this contest as Berlingeri comes over to her and says "it's rare you'll see anything this bad around here, the odd bad word here and maybe heated sparring sessions but don't think these two advertise this place, we mostly get along but you look like you could handle yourself"
Eva blushes slightly till she sees Lauren looking worried and knows that she isn't happy about this.
The fighters make it back up to their feet but the toll of brawling even with mma gloves on is making each women look shaky on their feet.
Emily shocks Maria by taking her legs out from under her with a double leg take down as Taryn looks proud of her teaching skills.
Quickly trying to race up Maria's body to smash her face in, her body is scissored in something resembling a full guard in mma but it's not fully locked in.
The fighters bash single punches to the others body, till Maria pulls Emily over by her hair and it becomes a hair pulling, rolling fight.
Getting to their knees again with hands locked in the others hair, slowly they release the others hair then lock each other in a bearhug.
Jugs start to come into play in this battle for supremacy and neither woman looks like she can take too much more punishment.
Both scream as they tighten their grips on the other and faces are turning red from the lack of air.
In seemingly a stalemate, they let go of each other but Maria drives forward first with a right hook that sends Emily sprawling to all fours and Maria mounts her back to rain heavy handed hooks to the sides of the blondes head.
Emily is just being pounded and isn't defending herself as Maria just thuds her fists to Atack's head.
Melanie quickly gets involved to pull Maria off, who in turn screams "let me finish her off!" As her emotions are making her try to escape the clutches of Sykes and injure Emily badly.
Melanie holds her tight and says to Maria "its over, you win so no more OK?" Who begins to calm down as the Adrenalin leaves her body and her temper decreases.
Taryn goes to help Emily, who is visibly shaken after losing another fight and starts crying.
Melanie orders the rest of the stable "everyone back to training!" Before helping Maria up and waving Lauren to bring Emily with her.
Taryn goes into drill Sargent mode as she screams "anyone who doesn't get back to work has an arse whooping OK ladies!"
Quickly the girls return to training as Taryn smiles as even the new girls are quick to get back to their assignments.
Maria and Emily are taken to the new physio room and sat face to face, which has the new physio Eva ready to scream if the girls start up again.
But both are too tired as Melanie pulls up a chair and says "do you two think that we will put up with this feud for much longer"
The girls are too tired and sore to look at her as Eva stands at the door wanting to ask when she can treat the rivals.
But Melanie is in charge here and she is going to clear this up if it changes the stable completely.
"I'm going to tell each of you a story then give you two options, just know said two options are permanent so choose wisely"
Mel crosses her legs as she says "you remember Claire King, I don't know how much you really knew about me and her but let's say me and her never were friends".
Emily whispers " duh" but the hard stare from Melanie quickly shuts her up from making any further comments.
"As I was saying, me and her would ignore each other and as you guys left after training, we'd secretly sneak back into the gym and just have at it with each other, we went to war and I can honestly admit she gave me as many beatings as I gave her" says Mel as she sits proudly remembering some of those fights.
Continuing quickly as the fighters look ready to doze off without any ending to this tale.
Melanie adds "like I said, we fought and even after that, we never became friends but she damn well has my respect and that's partly because we both knew the one key rule"
Both women turn to her and even Eva and Lauren edge closer somewhat to hear the moral of the story.
Mel reveals it was "simply we are not bigger than the stable and we would back each other for the best of the stable, so either shake hands as I know you two can or tell me you resign from the stable because I will not miss someone who puts fighting with their teammates over the good of this stable, understand?"
Both women nod as they look at each other and question the other with their eyes till Emily lifts her hand up and in a low tone says "I love this place, even if it gets difficult to be here with you, you've beat me twice and I can't complain"
Maria wants to grin and say that Emily should be tossed out the stable but she thinks about the stable and what it means to her.
The women shake hands as Maria says "I can't pretend to forget our past but I would be lost without this place and I have to admit you"
Emily looks shocked at Maria's admission and nods back as she can't bring herself to say the words back but she would probably miss Maria if they were not in the same stable to drive the other on.
"OK ladies, I leave you in the capable hands of Eva here, if they act up I think you can kick their arses" says Melanie as she pats Eva on the back and the physio looks in disbelief at what she's seen and heard.
Lauren smiles as she looks at Eva, who rushes over to her when Mel leaves the room to ask "did you see that, how she commanded the room and sorted those two out"
Berlingeri replies "I won't lie, it wasn't how I would have dealt with this, those two would have been treated with kid gloves and nothing would be sorted I guess"
Eva nods as she gets her supplies and starts cleaning Emily and Maria up, who are discussing the fight they've just had and even share a smile.
Eva turns to Lauren half way through her work and says "I know this might sound strange but can you teach me to fight? I don't want to box in the ring, just self defence" she bites her lip and Lauren knows she is telling a half truth.
Bumping into Eva, she says "only if you prove you can take the hardships and me as your rival" Lauren winks at that last part as Eva gulps and bumps back into Lauren to show she means it.
Lauren turns to leave but says before she leaves "I will expect you on time at 8pm and don't come overdressed, this won't be a game of pattycake, if you want to defend yourself when we're out in the arenas, then I'll be your worst nightmare"
Lauren leaves before Eva can reply but she smiles outside the door thinking "wow! This place even makes mild mannered people want to learn to fight"
As inside the room, Eva buzzes at learning to fight in case she has to and Maria and Emily seem to have cleared the air for now, just another chaotic day at the Girls Friday gym it seems.
