Charli XCX versus Joo Min Hee
(Words: WW / Results: Lookout!)

BEFORE: A pretty interesting crowd tonight: some big fans of the FCBA, others big fans of Charli XCX. Not all of them are in the arena, but some fans of STELLAR's Minhee are watching online to see the KPOP girl's debut match. Either way, it's a battle of pop stars from different nations, and whoever wins tonight will surely be asserting their dominance!

"Okay, I know, I lost my last two." Charli observes. "But c'mon, guys...if you think I'm going to lose to some no-name, offbrand Korean singer, you might need to get your head checked. Look at her! She's way too sweet and soft to compete with tough girls like us. I'll be more than happy to take my first won off of her, considering she's practically handing it to me!"

"I'm a little nervous..." Minhee admits, shaking a little bit. "...but I need to do my best for my group and our fans! I promise I won't let you guys down! And for all the people who doubt me, I know I'm going to change your mind. I'm tough, sexy, and ready to rumble!" She blows a kiss into the camera recording and winks, hoping to steal the hearts of those who just heard of her.

Minhee is wearing a dark purple leotard with a diamond-shaped cleavage window, along with a small and non-interfering diamond necklace dangling from her neck; she's got black gloves. Charli is wearing a lowcut blue dress with a short skirt in white gloves.

ROUND 1: Both girls circle each other a little, guards up and prepared. Minhee starts things off with cautious jabs, trying to keep Charli outranged. It’s working okay, she lands a few hits as Charli keeps trying to catch her, but the UK singer comes through and lands a nice punch right in Minhee's gut! Charli capitalizes and works the torso to push the Korean girl back...but she fires back with a counter shot to get Charli off of her! Charli stumbles, dodges a right and leans in with a nice left to keep her offense up on Minhee! Minhee's got her guard up, blocking some more shots, and Charli BREAKS right through with an uppercut! The UK girl lands a few more jabs, and the bell sounds to end the round right on time! Charli steals it with that last little bit of offense there, pumping her fist silently to herself afterwards as she struts back to her corner. Minhee just takes a deep breath and exhales, shaking her head, as if she's trying to wake herself up.

ROUND 2: Both coming out with their guards up, but Charli quickly halts hers to take another shot at Minhee. She REALLY wants the Korean girl to fall, it seems, as she tries to make another breakthrough. Not happening, though; she whiffs a straight and Minhee counters with a belly punch and a right hook to the cheek! Charli comes at Minhee once more, who's dodging most of the shots, but still getting hit with some quick jabs to the breasts. Charli leans in and OOH, leans right into a powerful left! Minhee shoves her right glove into the UK singer's face rapidly, using her head like a punching bag. Charli panics and breaks away from Minhee, going on the run as she regains her senses. Minhee pursues her with a jab as she runs, but once Charli makes enough distance, the sweetness from earlier leaves and that stage persona takes over. "Scared, darling?" Minhee half-says and half-moans in that subtle Asian accent, taking a sensual pose and staring her opponent right in the eyes, gyrating her hips. This ticks Charli right off as she leaps back into the fight with a left, only for that to get ducked and PUNISHED with an uppercut to her chin, releasing a fountain of saliva! Charli flails in return, which DOES let her lands hits on Minhee; but hits that lack power, as the Korean girl uses a nice left-jab, right cross and left hook combo to make Charli slam her back into the corner. And that's how the round ends! Minhee walks away, smirking at Charli, who's still furious and plotting some revenge for next round, it seems!

ROUND 3: Minhee comes forward, only to get caught off guard by Charli slamming her with a big right! Minhee, visibly shocked by the power, is now on the run herself as she tries to fight off a pursuing XCX! The counter jabs help, somewhat, but a counter-hook is parried by Charli and returned right to Minhee tenfold! The Korean's cry of pain echoes as Charli moves on, pummeling Minhee's rack. Finally, she gets her guard up, but this doesn't discourage the UK starlet at all as she asserts herself onto our poor little newcomer. Speaking of which, Minhee goes into a clinch, trying to avoid any more damage done to her, but Charli's still hitting her even in the clinch! Minhee fights back as well for a short little brawl of in-fighting, but the referee breaks them up before too long. Charli steadily bouncing on her toes, closing in on Minhee and waiting to make her shot. Minhee stares her down, gloves up...Charli fires off, Minhee blocks it all, ducks under another to strike her in the ribs, and shoves a right into her stomach. The round ends before she can get any more offense in, causing the Korean girl to look a little exasperated as she walks back to her corner. Charli laughs and shouts "Maybe they should've picked ME for the Sisters in Arms instead!", before walking away sitting in her corner comfortably as she takes control.

ROUND 4: Minhee looks like she’s finally deciding to step in and take action, trying to take the lead against Charli. She catches the UK popstar with a few facial punches before dodging another uppercut and BAM! Punishing that with a right cross! She throws another, and Charli PARRIES that punch and responds by hammering her chest! Minhee once again taken for a ride due to this unexpected counter! The Korean starlet is just getting worked over and over by Charli’s combos, moaning and grunting with each connecting blow as the crowd goes nuts! It’s looking like Charli might get her first win tonight, folks! Minhee tries to counter and fend off her assaulter, but no matter how many times she tries to break the distance, Charli simply closes in again or blocks the next punch right on time! The crowd chants Charli’s name as Minhee bounces into the ropes, looking exhausted as her gloves start to lower. Charli beckons the crowd to pump up their cheers, enveloping herself in the adoration as she prepares to seemingly end this fight! Opens with a blood-releasing right cross, a left-handed uppercut to the chin, a right one to the stomach, and a left cross to make Minhee fall on the canvas and collapse, eyes shut! Charli walks away, pumped up from this knockdown! It’s looking like it might be over, as the ref steps in and starts counting. “1…2…3…” Minhee still hasn’t moved! “4…” WAIT A MINUTE! Minhee’s stirring! Her energy’s coming back in a quick wave as she pushes herself up off the ground! I can’t believe it, and neither can the deafening crowd or Charli! Minhee adopts that “stage persona” look once again, despite her beating, and wipes the blood off with her glove in the most confident and sexy way a girl can after getting punished like that! Charli’s ticked again; that confidence the Korean girl must really, REALLY upset her! Minhee adopts her fighting stance as Charli is brought closer, and the two get ready to box some more. Minhee lands a few breast shots as Charli fails to connect with her, and gets a little more offense in right before the bell sounds. Charli definitely takes this round physically, but something’s telling me Minhee took it psychologically, as she’s even gotten some of the crowd on her side!

ROUND 5: Minhee, patched up now, retains her lusty grin as she and Charli box some more. Naturally, Charli's still frustrated, as she lands punches on that guard, but Minhee's demeanor has definitely changed from "sweet as sugar" to "sexy and serious". Minhee retaliates somewhat, really loving her jab game, but Charli STILL keeps control of that offense as she walks Minhee back into the ropes. The Korean popstar lands some more nasty hits on the chest, but it's Charli who sees right through those hits and pummels Minhee just like earlier! But...wait, Minhee's getting hit with bodyshots, but it's hardly even phasing her since she's up against the ropes! She's dodging headshots and throwing some good strikes to the chin! Wait--is she trying to rope-a-dope Charli?! Oh my God, I think she is! Well, screw trying; she's succeeding! Charli's like a bull, she keeps going for body punches which barely even phase Minhee! The rope's absorbing all of the British girl's power! The headshots are dodged as Minhee cocks her head left and right, grinding that bod on the ropes to show off to the crowd! They absolutely love it! XCX screams in a fury, but it's all for naught as she doesn't see through the ruse! Minhee's more than happy to take it and dish it back out to keep the ref from stopping it; Charli's scoring more points, but Minhee can capitalize on this if she strikes just when she gets tired--AND THERE IT IS! Charli slowed down, started panting, and Minhee ducked down nice and low and walloped her with an uppercut! Charli taken off her feet for a second, and Minhee opens her up again with a right cross! Followed by a left-handed uppercut to that jaw, a right uppercut to the stomach, and a left cross which makes Charli fall on her butt; a perfect replica of the punches that knocked her down just one round ago! As Charli collapses onto the canvas, the crowd once again intensified and starts chanting Minhee's name, and she does a little showboating to the crowd as she struts back to her corner and shouts "How does it feel?" to her UK opponent. Charli gets up at the count of 6, just in time for the round to end. Charli is both frustrated and shocked, having the tables turn on her so quick! It's anyone's fight now!

ROUND 6: Minhee comes forward in a confident strut, gloves at her side as opposed to Charli's gloves raised. Minhee then raises her gloves, and finds herself bobbing and weaving against Charli's hits! Charli's trying, but she just can't touch Minhee no matter what! She throws an overextended right and takes a right directly into the nose for her trouble! Another powershot that scrapes by Minhee and lets her ugly up Charli some more; every misstep Charli takes is another step towards a KO! She tries to step away, but Minhee stays in pursuit, showing no mercy. Charli's legs are getting shaky, her punches seemingly having less and less of an effect; I think she might be all tuckered out! As she throws some wimpy jabs at Minhee's chest, the Korean girl whips out a jaw-breaking right and a much more powerful left to Charli's chest! Charli's gloves start lowering, and Minhee absolutely unloads onto the British popstar, sending sweat and saliva everywhere as she gets pummeled! Charli's tired groan as she slumps against a corner is VERY audible. Minhee flexes her one arm and winks at the crowd; Charli tries once more to stop her, but she can barely get her guard together as Minhee POUNDS her with a right-handed uppercut, taking Charli off her feet once more as she cries out in pain and collapses onto the canvas! Minhee takes a confident walk back to her corner as she stares at Charli with another beautiful smile. Charli keeps trying, the ref reaching 6 now...she's tugging at the ropes, desperate to get up and find the strength to go on...but she just CAN'T, as the ref hits 10 and declares this match over by KO! What a wonderful debut for the Korean popstar: KO6 Joo Minhee!

AFTER: The ref lifts her hand in the air, to the chant of "MIN-HEE! MIN-HEE! MIN-HEE!"  from the crowd. The music of her band, STELLAR, plays, as Minhee drops her unbuckled gloves...and she works that body to her own music, further cementing her victory! The crowd loves every second of it!

Once Minhee stops, we catch her for some post-match thoughts. "That was an amazing fight!" Minhee says, giggling. "I honestly thought I was going to lose; but then, I guess I just thought of my band members and my character and thought: 'Would they want me to go down like this?' Obviously, the answer is no, but...like I said, I just get into that trance! And once I get it going, it's hard to stop! I hope I've proved myself to all those who doubted me or didn't care about me. Because, as they've just seem: they need to watch out for me! I'm not going anywhere!"

As for the defeated XCX's thoughts, still getting repaired in her corner before she leaves. "God, I can't believe I lost AGAIN." Charli groans. "What was up with that girl?! One second, she's putty in my hands, the next she's the damn terminator and all flirty and stuff and I just...ugh! I HATE her! But she's proved something: she's no pushover, that's for sure..."
