BEFORE: Swansea girl Joanna Page returns to BBU after over four years away; the bubby-faced blonde enjoyed a fine debut vs the notorious Samia Ghadie back in 2012 before suffering from too many cuts that dented her confidence and denied a shot at the elusive victory. But she's ready to resume her career tonight against fellow pint-sized veteran Fiona Wade with Katie Price preaching the Fight Club UK whitewash ahead of the Auditions event. BBU TV's Anna Woolhouse refuses to confirm the model's audacious predictions and thinks that Page vs Wade is a classic coin-flipper that could go either way.

Fiona channels that Roxanne Pallett exotic look but she hasn't made as much noise on the Emmerdale set as the Cumbrian brunette over the years. This could change after her BBU debut performance though as she easily wins the trash-talking contest during the lead-up while Joanna prefers to keep it silent and sticks to her innocent "girl-next-door" attire. Katie calls her the "Silent Assassin" and vows to wrap Fiona in a plastic bag once this is over but then again, one shouldn't take the model's words too seriously given her sketchy management record in the past (like letting Jenna Coleman go for a bag of Skittles).

Joanna Page wears a white sports bra with red trim, red knickers and white gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Fiona Wade wears a crimson bikini set with black trim and black gloves. Long raven-black hair tied in a fancy bun at the back of her head. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Fiona has that villain look about her and Anna Woolhouse expects her to stalk the cute blonde from the word go, that's indeed the case as the pint-sized babes launch an immediate flyweight trademark brawl but the brunette becomes more accurate with her punching and slices the Welsh foe's guard repeatedly which forces the FCUK returnee to seek cover down the stretch. Fiona barks in anger as she steers her punches upstairs to put more heat on the backpedalling rival and it's clear she really wants to behin her BBU foray on a high note. The sheer ammount of punches makes Page think better of it but hopefully Wade doesn't wear herself out too much. This bout is scheduled for six rounds after all and Joanna shows exceptional footwork to avoid the big moneymaker shot from the brunette alas she concedes the opening round being unable to match Fiona's intensity.

Round 2:
The nightshade brunette keeps coming forward and aims upstairs again but Joanna does well sitting back and dancing around on her toes while trying to see out the English leather rush. Fiona comes from the same part of London as Kacey Barnfield and Michelle Ryan which sets the bar a little high given their overall fighting record but Wales needs a good comeback story themselves after Imogen Thomas checked out of the bantamweight elite lately. However it's all about Wade's frontal attack here and Page isn't going anywhere if she only intends to avoid the high-octane offense tonight. However FCUK's owner Katie Price remains very calm in her seats and tells the surrounding reporters during the interval that Joanna follows the pre-fight plan to perfection and Wade hasn't shown anything that warrants her debut victory here in Brighton tonight.

Round 3:
Katie Price might be eating a bucketload of crow soon as Joanna's nifty footwork suffers a bad slip early in the third when Fiona blasts her on the mouth with a heavy jabbing rush and finally enforces the desired close range stance. Page has to brawl herself out of trouble but eats more shots on the lips and bends awkwardly to the side with a significant painful shriek in the procces; that sight only fuels Wade's desire to knock her out and amid more angry screams, she slams a left/right combo on the nose and whips the blonde on her heels with eyes closed... another quick hook finds the jaw and makes Joanna gurgle "Oh my Gosh", as she drops her cover and doesn't even notice a right handed thunderclap bursting into her lips one more time... BLONDE GIRL DOWN!!! Lightning fast trip to the canvas spoils Katie Price's fight plan and the buxom model is now up on her feet not looking all that savvy anymore. "F### this crap! Get up! Get up!". Thankfully for the Amex audience, the FCUK event doesn't stumble straight out of the gates and Page beats the count at eight allthough her lips are badly squashed and threaten to leak blood if the shoddy defense keeps allowing Wade to land crisp strikes one after another. The raven-haired actress grins straight at Katie Price and vows to destroy her girl now but the model has none of it and channels the dubious 'Silent Assassin' to wake up and punch Wade all the way back to London. There's so much commotion ringside that only Anna Woolhouse actually notces the clock has expired when the ref was checking up on Joanna's recovery. Everyone needs a short break though.

Round 4:
The tempers flare again in the fourth as Fiona keeps vocally abusing the rattled blonde but even with all that talk, she fails to clean out shop as Joanna reverts into her superior mobility and stays out of the brunette's striking range long enough to make the Emmerdale actress look a little tired down the line. Anna Woolhouse always thought Wade's high-octane tactics will need a re-charging period and Page's smart response allows her to survive the difficult moments even though she basically forfeits another round. But at least she's still in this fight and has a chance to rally back into contention despite Fiona seemingly on her way to a complete whitewash of the Swansea woman right now. Both veterans settle down into defensive circles come the final minute and Wade might yet live to regret she didn't push more aggressively here but Page hasn't done anything to question the eventual outcome of this fight and Anna Woolhouse knows it. Only Katie Price looks more at ease and is overheard talking on the cell to Frankie's Foxes owner Frankie Cocozza during the interval.

Round 5:
Fiona remains the more aggressive of the two but visibly becomes less agile across the canvas and her efforts don't put so much pressure on the otherwise cumbersome blonde anymore. Joanna dances around the brunette's jabbing drive before settling for a counterpunching dispute; she tags the younger woman on the mouth and lands her biggest combo of the night yet when she belts Wade on the navel and powers through with a solid uppeercut on the chin. Fiona squeals in pain and tries to avenge the drive but her aches are more a sign of fitness woes rather than actual wrath and Page outworks her in close range for a change and keeps spiking the toned ribcage to reel the hitherto dominant actress back. A couple of hectic swings aimed to stop the blonde's momentum miss the target and Page sinks her foe on jelly knees with a brutal hook on the nose that shuts Fiona's eyes right at the bell.

Round 6:
Apparently the Welsh comeback is on - in more ways than one; Joanna moves into a frantic jabbing attack showing no signs of suffering from that earlier knockdown and as she has the brunette in need of a brief respite, she clubs her up the middle and stacks back into the ropes through sheer precision of her strikes rather than outright production which had been Wade's calling card tonight. The brunette gets wrapped in a classic flyweight slugfest but Page goes blow-to-blow with her and breaks her resilience when she loops a nasty hooking double on the temples followed by a quick shot to the mouth that whips Wade's head back and sinks her on jelly knees again. The Emmerdale babe has to settle for a lenghty clinch just to survive the Welsh rout and Joanna drops her nice girl attitude as she slams a couple of extra cheap shots into the aching brunette's kidneys after the bell. That earns her a thumbs up reaction from Katie Price and well, Anna Woolhouse just saw it coming there! Katie's one of the last women in BBU to be nominated for a fair play award!

Round 7:
Fiona remains ahead on the cards but doesn't seem to have any strenght left to close it out! A classic rookie mistake that is even more natural when you consider she's not exactly 18 anymore. However Joanna doesn't have similar problems, she soaked up all the early punishment and now can thrive into proper action as she stalks the brunette with a heavy jabbing drive that splits Wade's gloves repeatedly and sends her into the corner one more time. The Emmerdale girl tries to clinch her foe just to stall this fight and hold onto her lead but Joanna rips a quick left uppercut on the jaw before adding another one from the right that cuts Fiona up above the left eye. The embattled Londonder screams out in pain but then gets silenced when Page just slams a jabbing double into her face and makes the eyes bawl out briefly. The arms drop to the side and a sinking uppercut blasts Wade on the jaw SENDING HER JACK-KNIFE TO THE CANVAS moments later! Ugh! Katie Price dwells on the partisan crowd's reaction and Page shakes her glove in delight too. She stares down the aching brunette who battles back onto all fours and survives the slowish count at nine. But she looks mighty rattled out there and only due to Joanna needing a breather herself, the fight lives to see another round.

Round 8:
Let's make no mistake, that relentless pressure took it's toll on the Welsh blonde but Fiona's in far worse physical shape and even shocks few people in Brighton when she doesn't quit on her stool. She's barely able to stand upright and requires a lenghty break from action but the intervals between rounds are not going to be extended so Joanna just rips into her face from the bell as she seeks that haymaker finish. Wade sags on jelly knees and fails to embrace the heavy slugging, her head spins around back & forth and there's nothing coming back either. Page batters her into stupor and signs off the wrecking display with another uppercut double that slams into the brunette's chin and SENDS HER CRASHING DOWN ON THE FLOOR just shy of the minute mark. Fiona hits the deck HARD and is left motionless thereafter, that's full KO daze ladies and gentlemen with the proud Emmerdale sexpot laying spread eagle with her arms above her head. KO8 Joanna Page in come-from-behind fashion!!!

AFTER: Fight Club UK's Auditions got off to a tremendous start and Katie Price is all "I told you so" mood after the semi-unconscious Fiona Wade is stretched off to the locker room by Brighton & Hove's medical crew. Joanna Page still looks a bit lost trying to embrace the cameras and microphones stuck into her face but the bubby-faced blonde truly showed a mean spirit there in the latter stages of the fight. Even Anna Woolhouse is impressed but she wasn't a part of BBU TV back in 2012 when Samia Ghadie secured a somewhat fortuitous win thanks to deep facial cuts that derailed Joanna's uncanny yet effective tactics.

However that was then and this is now, Joanna Page marks a well-earned victory on her resume and confirms the fact that coach Price issued a "seeing out" plan to see what Wade brings to the ring. It almost backfired straight into the FCUK face as Page relinquished the first four rounds on the trot but the raven-haired nemesis just couldn't put the icing on the cake and run out of steam thereafter. The high-risk,high-reward tactics paid off for the Price-led stable but Joanna wouldn't be smiling so brightly if she faced a more experienced opponent tonight.
