BBU FIGHT CLUB UK ROOKIE AUDITIONS

BEFORE: Maddy Hill's one of the smallest lightweights around BBU - standing just 5'6" feet tall - which is probably the reason why she had to wait so long for her official debut despite signing with the FCUK stable in February of last year already. It also explains why she's chosen veteran Sarah Harding as her opponent tonight, the former Girls Aloud feisty operator has yo-yoed between bantamweight & lightweight in her career to date but currently rides a three-fight cold streak while her last victory dates back to August 2014. However Sarah won't find a better opportunity to kick start her gatekeeping campaign than to fight a newcomer like Hill who's really more suited into a bantamweight tenure according to Anna Woolhouse. Katie Price's management policy comes under heavy scrutiny again - especially if Maddy turns out to be mismatched at 130 lbs.
They make them tough in Hackney though and Maddy vows to smash Sarah into a pulp during a heated pre-fight argument. The Berkshire singer just laughs off those comments and labels Hill as "pure cream puff"; tempers usually flare whenever Harding hits the ring and she takes no prisoners in Brighton tonight but Maddy deserves credit fot not looking frightened ahead of her BBU debut.
Maddy Hill wears an orange one-piece swimsuit and white gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a curly bun at the back of her head. Sarah Harding wears a light green bikini top, black knickers and silver gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a thick bun at the back of her head. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.
Round 1: Maddy's thrown into deep water early on as Sarah takes full advantage of her superior reach to pummel the younger blonde's guard from point blank range before stacking up the rookie with a swift change of targets downstairs. Hill tries to fight back and throws several punches that miss the singer's flesh but it's all about the footwork in this fight as Harding bunny hops like she's 18 again while the actress remains glued to the spot and allows her opponent to set up more punishing jabs along the way. Katie Price looks calm up in the front seats but Maddy struggles to make an impact in the opening round and must consider herself fortunate the fellow blonde sends too many single punches instead of blasting her out full throttle. One might say Sarah's two-year winless period plays on her mind after all and Anna Woolhouse calls out the fact Maddy wasn't battered back to the ropes which seemed obvious given her lethargic mobility.
Round 2: Hill keeps her powder dry and allows Harding to clean out her midsection in the opening minute before finally landing a proper uppercut on the jaw. However the singer laughs off this rare punch and slams a left hook under the younger blonde's eye to wobble her back to the turnbuckle where Maddy's sluggish footwork gets exposed again. She had all the time in the world to escape the trap but even Harding - who's not a speed demon across the canvas - was able to loop a sinking hook on the temple which just caved in the rookie blonde behind a tight earmuff. And Sarah just lets it rip in the corner, she harpoons the lacklustre actress into the ribcage and forces Hill's guard to drop woefully low so the quick uppercut switch causes havoc upstairs.. HEAVY PUNCH ROCKS MADDY into spasms and Sarah screams out at her before driving another jaw-busting shot that whips the rookie against the ropes... "Keep you gloves UP!!!", Katie Price suddenly gets vocal but it's too late.. Harding's raw power destroys Hill's defense and results in the Hackney girl's head swivelling back & forth... Sarah's head hunting assault is simply brutal and leaves the actress nursing a deep gash under the right eye but the killer shot comes late... it nails the cumbersome blonde on the liver area clean AND RAGDOLLS HER ONTO HER KNEES with only ten-odd seconds left on the clock. Maddy rolls down into embrional position but the bell saves her from immiediate knockout yet Anna Woolhouse reckons this ship has sailed off into the sunset regardless.
Round 3: Katie Price personally drags a wounded Maddy to the FCUK corner but the Hackney blonde barely holds back the tears as she's been swamped into a vicious Harding maze in the previous round and looks downright spooked now. Sarah notices that look straight away and simply can't wait to get going again, she's up early from her stool and shadow boxes for a while before the ref calls both girls to fight again. Hill remains saddled on the back foot and continues to move like she's glued to the canvas, she ducks the singer's initial left hook approach but a swift follow up from the right slams her on the mouth and bawls her eyes out to the orbit... another left hook finds the temple and Maddy goes all numb here which leads into one last shot on the jaw she never takes notice of... SHE GOES ALL TIMBER within a blink of an eye an crashes down on her back HARD!!! That's a classic sack of potatoes-like demise and the ref doesn't even bother with the count! KO3 Sarah Harding!!!
AFTER: Ugh! Someone needs to tell Katie Price that Maddy is a terrible lightweight prospect but that's not even the worst news based on her rookie showing evidence. She looked incredibly slow on her feet compared to the otherwise mediocre Harding - who's all about power in first place - and IF she goes down to the bantam division, that's gonna be even a bigger problem. No core strenght and no mobility to speak of, Maddy Hill's horrendous BBU debut draws comparisons to Diana Vickers on twitter already and Anna Woolhouse can't disagree with them at all. Sarah Harding was given a Main Event sparring fight and wasted no time in wrecking the Hackney blonde wholesale. Christmas truly came early here for the Ascot singer! She waited two years to win in BBU again and eventually broke less sweat than trading blows with ex-bandmate Kimberley Walsh in the Barnet gym in the week leading up to this fight.
Final result: Sarah Harding def. Maddy Hill KO3.
