Intro:
The first of the New Blood flyweight tournament semifinals is between the cute Chloe Moretz and the tantalizing Taylor Spreitler.
Chloe of course is most famous for being Hit girl in 2 Kickass films, while also playing the lead in the remake of the horror movie Carrie as her biggest roles.
Her opponent Taylor is a fellow actress but unlike Chloe, is more famous on the small screen as Lennox on the T.V show Mel and Joey.
When these two were drawn together, both seemed very confident as they met nose to nose for their first ever stare down.
Neither seemed to want to be nasty to the other as no words were said at the first meeting but their body language told a thousand words as they looked down on each other.

At the press event for these fights, Chloe got the chance to speak first, which seemed to annoy Taylor, that's the luck of the draw though.
Chloe looked stunning in a yellow floral patterned dress as she gave a beautiful smile to the media in the room.
"I am so looking forward to this fight and this tournament as a whole" says Chloe before she winks at her boyfriend Brooklyn Beckham in the back of the hall they are in.
She continues "from all the praise I've been getting from managers like Wiz and Mr.V in the press, what do I really have to say?"
Looking at Taylor, she finishes by saying "you seem nice but in that ring Taylor, you are going to find out why I really am like Hit girl, when I knock you out"
Chloe sits down looking as if she has scored the first points in this war between the two blondes, while Taylor just smirks at her before going to the podium.
"Listen Chloe, you were not the only one to get praised by said managers, I was also mentioned as they evidently know class, well some of it anyway" says Taylor to Chloe as she faces her in a red dress and seems to ignore the press.
"While I don't play a superhero like you did, oh that's right; Hit girl isn't super at all, just some scrawny kid who plays dress up, that fits you perfectly" taunts Taylor as Chloe's mask of perfection seems to crack a little with her smile.
Each fighter mouths insults to each other before going nose to nose at the podium with cameras capturing this moment.
It's a question of who will back down first, which never gets answered as the tournament organisers get involved to separate the two as they look ready to start throwing fists now.
Instead they have to wait till fight night.

On the night; Chloe is out first into the FCBA arena, there's a loud roar as it looks like she is Hit girl for the night.
She is wearing a purple robe and has the purple wig from the Kickass movie with her eyemask on as she stands at the top of the ramp with her hands on her hips.
The special referee for these tournament bouts Salma Hayek looks on perplexed by what she is seeing as Chloe starts making her way down to the ring.
As Chloe steps into the ring, she throws her robe off to reveal a purple one piece swimsuit with black stripes up the sides.
Going to her corner, her second takes off her wig and mask to show her blonde hair is tied up, before putting on a pair of purple boxing gloves to complete her look for the fight.
Taylor's entrance is definitely on the lighter side as she just comes out in a red robe and gloves, she can be heard on her way down to the ring saying to her second "what a f'in joke; how did she get such a big entrance?"
As she enters the ring, Taylor goes right up to Chloe as both fighters touch foreheads and the insults begin already.
Taylor's second takes her robe off to show she's in a Baywatch style red one piece bikini before she shoves Chloe and gets shoved back.
The fighting begins early as they trade body shots till Selma and their trainers get between the hot tempered fighters and separate them.
Selma goes to each corner to first check each girl is fit enough to fight before laying down the law for both women to follow.
She forces both fighters to the ring centre to touch gloves and it leads to basically a swipe of gloves as neither shows any respect to the other.
Before each fighter returns to their corners to get the final instructions from their coaches and their gumshields in.
Selma points to the timekeeper to ring the bell to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Out come the fighters and we are off, Taylor with a tight guard, while Chloe keeps her in front of herself as her guard seems the more flexible of the two women.
Chloe is the first to attack with a quick double jab snapping out before she quickly escapes the return punch from Taylor.
But it's not long before Chloe is walked down by Taylor as she makes the rookie mistake of not using her height to her full advantage and is shoved towards the ropes by two jabs over her guard.
Chloe shows a quick turn of speed to get off the ropes but is met head on by Taylor, who still looks pissed about the entrances and probably everything about her opponent.
The two blondes trade it out at the ring centre but Taylor is throwing the cleaner punches as Chloe is not using her strengths to her advantage.
Instead she gets knocked back again though luckily for her, her footwork looks impressive for a rookie and she escapes more punishment.
That doesn't stop Taylor giving chase across the ring but now late in the round does Chloe use her height and her natural fitness to her advantage by jabbing away at the head of her opponent with freedom.
Sadly for her the bell rings before she could take control of the round fully and it would be hard to give her the round to some as she was pressed around the ring for most of it.
Taylor looks calmer after that first round but is warned not to let Chloe get into her stride or it will become a hard fight for her
Chloe's corner of course tell her to use her height to keep this fight at her range and don't let Taylor work her way to the inside.
The young blonde doesn't look too bothered as she is enjoying the thrill of the contest, while Taylor wants to get back at her opponent quickly.

Round 2:
Taylor looks to close that distance quickly but is met with a fast handed jab and straight combo from Chloe to start the round and knock the smaller blonde back a step.
Chloe looks more focused now as she dances up on her toes and for a tall flyweight, she can move seemingly as fast as a lot of the smaller fighters.
But that is probably down to the boxing training her and her boyfriend did before she decided to take it seriously or her ridiculous training she did to become Hit girl.
Either way, Taylor is just getting glancing blows with at most some good body shots as Chloe controls the tempo with her footwork and her jab.
A particularly hard left jab/ right hook to the body makes Taylor grimace as Chloe moves quickly around her to swat another jab to her face to continue to earn points and wear her down.
Taylor is looking out matched this round as she looks slightly shell shocked at what is happening to her right now.
It's not long till the bell rings when Taylor connects with a good right hook to the cheek of Chloe to slow her down and force her to the ropes to slam two good body hooks that make her opponent grunt loudly.
Chloe has to clinch up as she isn't able to move this time from the ropes to space and Selma warns both to fight off the ropes.
But has to pull the two apart as they hurl insults at each other instead of punches and as they are separated, the bell rings to end the round.
Taylor returns to her corner looking annoyed at herself as she puts her head onto the turnbuckle before turning to sit down.
Chloe even with those last minute body shots, looks right as rain as she almost dances to her corner and high fives her coach.
Selma looks to be enjoying herself watching these two fighters go at it as she secretly wishes she was there age again and facing Penelope Cruz for the first time, as she thinks of their wars, till she thinks maybe not.

Round 3:
Taylor is moving her head a lot more now as Chloe continues to try and pick her off at distance to keep her control of the contest.
But her smaller opponent is shocking the crowd by finding her way through the punches being thrown at her head to work the body of Chloe again.
The taller blonde looks to be in pain as Taylor shoves her to the ropes and Chloe has to try to fight her way off the ropes as Spreitler is not letting her get away as easily now.
Each fighter slugs it out in tight as Taylor shoves her head forward in her enthusiasm to get at Chloe and the two clash heads.
Both are clearly hurt as the hug more then clinch and shake their heads till Selma pulls them apart and gives each fighter a quick once over to make sure they are not badly hurt.
Luckily for both, neither has been cut with just a red mark to show where they bumped heads, away they go again.
Chloe now with the freedom can strike out with her double jab but as she goes for a hard right hook to follow, Taylor steps in quickly and lands a stiff straight right to unbalance her.
Moretz looks stunned as Taylor does her best to try and hurt her and finish this fight now, unlucky for her then that Chloe manages to drag her into a clinch to hold off the fireworks.
Selma again gets the two girls off each other and Chloe looks to have her bearings back enough that she is able to keep her range till the bell.
Taylor looks the much more happier as she mouths "you're mine" to Chloe, who can only stare at her opponent as she knows her actions will speak a lot more loudly then her words.

Round 4:
Both fighters are starting to mark up from the contest but look fit enough to go all night by the looks of them.
Taylor is trying to keep that pressure she applied to Chloe in the last round here and finds some early success as she works away to the abs of Chloe.
But Chloe doesn't want to stay too close to her opponent and starts to really let her hands go with some fast piercing punches striking at open spaces of Taylors face and body.
The smaller blonde is being overawed again and it takes her having to retreat to get space to stop getting hit.
Taylor does force her way back in and the two blondes brawl in tight again as their tempers rise again and as they bump bodys, they start grappling.
Chloe nearly tosses Taylor over as she wrestles her to the ropes, then she steps backwards to start beating her rival up on the ropes.
The 19 year old looks nothing like a rookie at the moment as every time Taylor tries to move off the ropes, she throws a sweeping hook to knock her back to the ropes.
Taylor forces her way forward but blood can be seem running from a cut under her left eye now to show the damage inflicted from her spell on the ropes.
Chloe backs off as Taylor just misses with two sweeping hooks to the body and Moretz looks relieved, maybe letting her poker face drop slightly to show you that Taylor is hurting her.
The blondes continue to battle around the ring in tight as Chloe can't seem to shake Taylor off her, even as she gets some good shots to that cut that is trickling at a steady rate down the beautiful face of Taylor.
The bell rings with both girls still wanting a piece of the other, forcing Selma to get involved to keep them back and ordering them to their corners.
Taylor's corner quickly work on that cut as their fighter is wincing each time they touch it to show how painful it is.
Chloe's cheeks are reddening up and thanks to the swimsuit, you can't see how bad her body looks but you'd have to guess it is marked up as well.

Round 5:
Taylor looks desperate to even the score with Chloe for cuts as she throws wild punches at first to a retreating Moretz.
Chloe is letting Taylor punch herself out but is too cocky and before she notices where is she exactly, is pressed to the ropes.
Spreitler is almost licking her lips as she pounces forward to work the body of her opponent with hard pounding blows.
Thuds can be heard echoing into the front row as Chloe shuts her eyes with the pain her body is being racked with.
But she pulls Taylor into another clinch to get a breather and again the fighters wrestle along the ropes to a corner till Selma can pull them away from each other.
Chloe is back on her toes as she dances around the ring with her jab but she looks to be moving slower as Taylor takes a chopping right to that cut on her face.
But she ignores the pain to crack a right hook just under the left jug of Chloe to make her groan and fire a defensive jab to ward Taylor off her.
Taylor looks in the mood to hurt Chloe as she continues to press forward with stinging jabs to the ribs of Chloe, who is doing her best to strike back over the top.
Getting too focused on one target, Taylor doesn't read the uppercut coming till it slams into her jaw, her guard too wide open at the time as she was too busy trying to lash out at her opponent.
Her legs look like jelly as they wobble and Chloe knocks her backwards with a stunning right straight to her nose as she now looks for the finishing blow.
But the bell stops her mid punch and Taylor is staring at the purple glove of Chloe with her nerves in tatters as she wonders whether she was about to be down for the count.
Chloe on the other hand looks pissed that she couldn't connect in time and swivels around to nearly stomp back to her corner, her seconds trying to keep her calm as she looks in a huff.
Taylor looks worried as she looks up at her second cleaning her face and asks "what do I do now?" To which her second replies "keep to the game plan, don't get distracted"

Round 6:
Taylor still doesn't look fully recovered from that last few moments of the last round and questions about her mental state have to be asked as she goes into her shell.
Her corner are shouting for her to get at Chloe, who looks in heaven at what is she seeing and starts flashing her best work of the fight so far.
Feinting punches to move the guard of Taylor before she slams her real punch to the face of the weakened opponent.
It's not long into the round and Taylor tries to fire back but her punches miss and Chloe connects again with a uppercut that this time seems to shut off Taylor's body as down she goes.
Selma gets Chloe to a corner as Moretz starts gloating over her fallen opponent, who still hasn't moved.
Selma begins her count with Taylor just starting to stir but she is too dazed and clumsily falls down again onto her cut cheek, which makes her scream.
The count reaches 10 and Selma waves the fight is done to the delight of the crowd.

Winner: Chloe Moretz KO Round 6

After:
Chloe turns and gingerly climbs the bottom rope to lean over the turnbuckle to blow a kiss to the crowd as they cheer her.
Selma is helping up Taylor, who sits on the canvas looking annoyed at herself for not being able to knock Chloe out, Taylor is helped to her stool to clean her up.
Chloe can be seen going over to her as Selma warns her "don't do anything to hurt her" while the winner just stares at Hayek to be quiet.
Instead Chloe and Taylor respectful talk about the fight and Taylor wishes her the best of luck on the final as they touch gloves to show they truly do respect the other, even if they will not be giving each other Christmas gifts this year.
Taylor is helped out the ring by her coach as Chloe goes to the ring centre to give a statement on her victory to the arena interviewer.
Asked about the fight, she replies "boy Taylor can hurt you alright, while I didn't think much of her before the fight, I would be lying to say she didn't challenge me at any stage of that fight"
Brushing some loose strains of hair out of her eyes, she continues "but I knew if I could keep my range and use my natural talents, I could chop her down sooner or later and it worked"
Asked about who she would like to face in the final, she answers "doesn't really matter, I want to make a mark straight away and in this division that means winning constantly as there are too many big names here so it is easy to be forgotten or get lost in the shuffle"
She adds "but I will tell you this, Ariel would present a real challenge as I've met her several times before the tournament and she is one strong girl"
Finishing she says "with Dakota, you have experience and she is supposed to be rated the best striker in this tournament for a mixture of power and accuracy, I would question that as I think that fits me, so either way, I will have a major task in front of me and I am the girl to overcome it with style"
Chloe politely shakes the interviewers hand and says "thank you" before she leaves the ring to a cheer and to watch in the back the second semi final.
