BEFORE: The controversial split decision verdict in Nadia Forde's favor leaves the fate of the 2016 BBU Ryder Cup in the hands of two conflicting figures set to clash gloves in the coveted Main Event here inside the Wembley Stadium. It's not just a classic blonde vs brunette rivalry but also a meeting between one of the most experienced BBU veterans around, Jennifer Ellison, who boasts a double-digit fighting record on both sides of the Atlantic and a complete newcomer - straight from the Sports Illustrated's swimsuit roster - Lily Aldridge.

Ellison comes off two split decision victories over Stacey Massey and Jennifer Metcalfe and that's a reason for a good laugh inside the BBU TV booth given what just happened in the Forde/Rossum bout but she's raised her own controversy during the weigh-ins when she refused to cut weight to bantamweight's 120 lbs scale and threatened to quit the Ryder Cup team if the American model didn't agree to fight her at 122 lbs catchweight. Aldridge herself weighed-in at 119 lbs but with the pressure mounting on her ahead of her BBU debut already, she accepted the blonde's terms so we get to enjoy a really tough battle out there. Erin Andrews offers the most background story on the previously uncharted Santa Monica-born brunette but her arrival in BBU shouldn't come as a complete surprise given the influx of modelling talent this season to date. Aldridge's fellow SI beach bunny Hilary Rhoda has made a successful debut over in America already and chances are the 30 year old follows her suit before too long if she manages to rack up a couple of wins on this side of the pond. After all, Alessandra Ambrosio set the pattern for Aldridge to follow as well.

Jennifer Ellison wears an Union Jack themed bikini top, red knickers and white gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Lily Aldridge wears a light blue bikini set straight from her 2016 SI beach photo shoot and black gloves. Long dark brown hair in loose waves, tucked behind the ear. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the 122 lbs (55.4 kg) catchweight.

Round 1:
Ellison's weight issues have been well documented in the past which marks her career as a classic bantam/light tweener but she vows to stun the model with her core strenght as Lily doesn't follow the usual Sports Illustrated script by fighting at light or even at welter. But she's only 5'8" which isn't top shelf for a model yet she channels the old fashioned Odette Yustman bendy route and simply strays away from the blonde's jabbing supply to raise one or two eyebrows around Wembley early on. Emmy Rossum applied the similar tactics against Nadia Forde and almost got away with a victory but Azealia Banks' stoppage of Ellie Goluding makes it two for two for the power hitters and Denise van Outen doesn't think Aldridge's got what it takes to down Ellison any which way tonight. She's doing a mighty fine job with dancing on her toes though and renders the English attacks futile during the opener which should boost her confidence plenty.

Round 2:
Ellison keeps going forward but really struggles to embrace the quick footwork of her opponent and Lily catches her off guard after a while when she delivers a harpoon to the body and sticks extra leather on the chest too. Jennifer's not agile enough to avoid the American rush and needs to slug herself out of trouble but still eats a quick hook on the jaw which reels her back and enables Aldridge to swing one over the top and club the blonde's nose spot on. Ellison winces in pain however she misses the desperate hooking shot from the back foot and Lily ducks underneath the high swing to punish more rack from point-blank range and dump the immobile Brit back to the ropes. A quick right-on-right exchange follows but once again Jennifer gets beaten to the post and bends awakwardly on the ropes which in turns allows the brunette to lay some extra juice into the exposed liver area. Ellison screams out in visible pain and just reverts into an earmuff struggle with the American bursting through on the body and reigning supreme inside the last half-minute. Erin Andrews is literally on her feet in the booth and TIG's manager Melida Messenger is stunned at the ammount of heat Aldridge throws at her employee.

Round 3:
Whatever plan Ellison had for this fight, it's gone all wrong quickly as Lily's dwarfs the blonde's footwork within seconds of the bell and connects with the body one more time, clearly exposing one of the BBU veteran's weaknesses. Jennifer throws dump off punches just trying to stay relevant but she gets caught up in another jabbing frenzy and has no answers how to tame the body assault that reels her onto the heels again. She tries to leap back to safety but Lily's all over her like a cheap bikini set and hammers more crisp body shots to further dent the alleged power hitter's confidence. Sometimes facing the unknown could prove lethal and Lily quickly wins some unexpected Wembley crowd support as she bangs the slow moving blonde back to the ropes and hooks extra beef on the jugs to really render Ellison breathless. A late clinch only salvages as much British pride as allowed and Lily yells out a couple of 'C'mons' before struting back to her corner while Melinda Messenger looks utterly shocked in the TIG corner and demands immediate action from the embattled Jennifer.

Round 4:
It's just not happening for the blonde veteran as she keeps misfiring badly and simply can't connect with any of her power punches while losing plenty of energy in a fruitless pursuit of the agile brunette during the opening minute. The weigh-in controversy is rendered obsolete as Ellison gasses out badly on the big stage leading Denise van Outen to question what she's been doing since her January fight versus Metcalfe. You don't go ten rounds in back-to-back fights before looking this woeful against a genuine rookie and Erin Andrews reckons Jennifer spend too much time enjoying booze & late night parties over in Ibiza during the summer. Whatever the case, the blonde manages to stick some meaningful leather onto the American's body in the second minute but once the response harpoons her onto the liver area, she can only enforce a late clinch to briefly stall Lily's progress. A couple of hooks find the brunette's kidneys after the bell but that's only a sign of frustration and the ref doesn't even react to it which earns him a long stare from the California model.

Round 5:
Ellison finally finds more juice upstairs and connects with a couple of good hooks on the temples but Aldridge weathers the initial shock and ducks underneath the aerial follow up to crash into the blonde's rack one more time before flying in with a hook on the left ear. That shot truly rattles the Brit and bends her to the side while Lily launches an immediate 'strike two' punch that squashes the blonde's lips and sends her tripping back to the ropes. Jennifer bounces off them and can see the American setting up a left hook haymaker... "Raise you damn gloves, you fool!", that's Melinda Messenger and Denise van Outen screaming in tandem but, aw, shucks... too late... Aldridge hammers the first nail in the Europe's Ryder Cup coffin as she blasts a HUGE punch straight on the nose and tears some skin in the proccess dumping Ellison on jelly knees in the proccess... no, wait.... they give way alltogether just as Jennifer tried to shift her balance on the left leg but only slumped into complete numbness... A RIGHT HOOK BLASTS HER ON THE EAR even before she goes down and that was just downright ugly... BLONDE GOES DOWN IN A HEAP... Ugh! Ellison's wrenched on her backside and rolls against the ropes spitting out her gumshield and just unable to soak up the massive double combo... What in the world??? Lily quickly struts back to her corner and winks back to TIG's manager Messenger who urges her fallen protegee to get up but Ellison's still down on all fours at seven and she's just been lampooned into a proper upset of the night! "You bytch!", Melinda screams out at the grinning American but only hears "And then some!" in response... meanwhile Jennifer's finally up on her feet at nine but when she asks the ref: "Did we win?" it's a sign she remains in the maze. This will hurt the BBU pride a ton but it's TKO5 Lily Aldridge in Ryder Cup-clinching fashion!!!

AFTER: The boxing outcome mirrors the original trophy winners from Hazeltine and but for Nadia Forde's split decision, the hosts could have been whitewashed alltogether. The passing of the Ryder Cup is delayed since Melinda Messenger is on a personal mission here and demands an apology from the SI model over the rough treatment of Ellison! Now that's rich coming from a losing side but the TIG owner/manager vows to have Keeley Hazell wipe that grin off Lily's face at all cost soon!

When the blonde veteran is finally wrestled back to the sidelines, Jennifer Ellison is left wandering about the ring with a hollow look in her eyes and it takes the best part of five minutes before she finally acknowledges what just happened: "I got caught out plain and simple", she tells Denise van Outen, "We had a plan to blow her right away but I didn't realize she was moving so fast. Those swimsuit models just stroll around the ring and are always so hittable. Darn it, I just got a piece of the second coming of Miranda Kerr or what? No way Lily's THAT good! Just bad timing. I don't know who faces her next but I was the guinea pig and it downright sucks. I hope Keeley kicks her ass all the way back to California!"

In the meantime Lily gloats over her fantastic BBU debut and only few people around Wembley saw that coming. Apparently Kate Garraway is one of them as the long-time Lioness Club press office CEO invites the American for a personal tour of her stable's facilities over in the northern part of UK's capital city. Even Denise van Outen can't feed off this particular gossip but the word is the Barnet-based crew was mainly responsible for bringing Aldridge over to Britain in first place. Beevers' head coach Denise Lewis claims to have been in touch with Mel B. over Lily's beach boxing prospects backing up Karolina Kurkova's plans and while Azealia Banks, Emmy Rossum and indeed Lily Aldridge pose for the cameras with the boxing version of the Ryder Cup, one might only wonder if tonight's event won't trigger late in-season changes around BBU. Watch Tom Hilton & Michelle Joy Phelps elaborate on that matter during their weekly Real View show next Sunday!

Final result: Lily Aldridge def. Jennifer Ellison TKO5.
Ryder Cup (Official): Europe 1 USA 2.
