BEFORE: This is a prime-time brunette vs blonde match-up even though Rhian Sugden has struggled a great deal in BBU thus far and she wouldn't have stood a chance of booking a fight versus former champion Imogen Thomas three or four years ago. However Thomas remains buried in a deep slump and basically accepts anything that comes her way these days. She got bullied into submission by Kate Lawler last time out which BBU TV's Kate Abdo calls an "all-time low" for the Welsh brunette whereas Sugden thrives on a very busy schedule this season after sitting out the entire 2014 & '15 campaigns due to her glamour modelling commitements. Apparently her place on the PageThrees roster is safe - still a product of Emma Glover and Lucy Pinder jumping ship from the Samantha Fox-led crew - but the long-anticipated debut of Danielle Sharp makes her bantamweight leadership claims a little premature according to most of the pundits.

Sugden comes from the Greater Manchester county so she's under immediate mocking fire from the Wembley Arena audience but she responds to the hostile greeting by twerking her boobs and waving to the stands regardless. Meanwhile Thomas isn't exactly the most popular girl in England either and Kate Abdo thinks the crowd just wants to witness a juicy grudge KO no matter who'll emerge on top. Abdo has her money on the fellow blonde but since she's another Mancunian on-site, one can understand the biased approach.

Imogen Thomas wears a violet bikini set and black gloves. Long dark brown hair straight. Rhian Sugden wears a one-piece yellow swimsuit with a massive V-shaped cleavage that would be more fitting for a JMD bout and silver gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a single-knotted ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Both women charge at each other like there's no tomorrow and the vicious intensity of the opening tangle even catches Kate Abdo by surprise. Heavy slugging efforts indicate these two aim for a complete destruction of one another and earn immediate approval from the audience. Imogen sticks her hooks into the blonde's temples well but gets caught by a similar series on the nose and looks to be rattled a little more at the end of the opening minute as she leans on Sugden only to meet a crunching uppercut on the chin that finally forces daylight between the two hellcats. Rhian leaps forward and almost jug-bumps the Welsh dragonette to the canvas but makes her attempt count by swinging a great hook on the nose to reel Thomas onto the ropes for good. She tackles the briefly immobile brunette thereafter and thumps more jabbing menace splitting the guard with ease and rocking the ex-champ cold! A sinking change-up on the rack makes Imogen scream late in the rally forcing her to cave in behind a tight earmuff as Sugden cleans out her tummy to stamp her authority on the feisty opener!

Round 2:
More high-octane action as Rhian ducks underneath a looping approach and belts Imogen to the body exploring some vulnerable area. Thomas' footwork isn't up to the task in the first minute as she gets bumped around with the Page Three mainstay working on her from the inside before moving up on the face again and lashing out from both flanks. Imogen leans forward and shows enough grudge spirit to soak up all the blonde pressure but Rhian becomes too effective down the stretch and secures significant leather contact to the jugs to bump the Welsh foe on her heels again. A quick blast on the temples sags an aching ex-champion on wobbly knees late and Imogen spends the final seconds of the round in a hectic retreat as Sugden tries to nail her down with a haymaker much to the crowd's visible dismay.

Round 3:
PageThrees coach Samantha Fox is loving this stuff as Sugden gets off to another flier in the third; she stacks the slow moving brunette in the center of the ring with another jug muggin' assault that quickly makes the Welsh dragonette think better of it. A lenghty clinch gains the Gail Kim-coached brunette a brief respite but Rhian cleans out the ribcage in a hectic effort to break free before landing another crisp uppercut to the chin. Thomas sails wide off target on the response route and gets wrenched with yet another belting hook that pierces the liver area and sways her towards the corner. All Sugden thereafter as the hooking drive upstairs dismantles the high guard and leaves a couple of nasty cuts on Imogen's face which quickly becomes a reason for concern for all the Kear's Kats supporters. Needless to say the London crowd is furious with the Mancunian dominance as well and jeers the grinning blonde at the bell. High-fives all around the PageThrees corner though as Sugden clearly exceeds the expectations so far tonight!

Round 4:
The embattled brunette goes all-in on Gail Kim's orders here in the fourth already; she tackles the Rhian to the body and swiftly hooks up with the cleavage handing her foe a solid JMD-like test before swinging on the temple that really sinks the Page Three model. Perhaps Sugden misjudged the offensive drive from the Welsh girl but once she restores her balance we have a classic hammer & tongs exchange on our hands that's aimed upstairs as if both women want to settle a bet of taking each other heads off. Imogen lands the spicy bits as she groans in her efforts to halt the blonde's run and connects with the nose on a couple of occassions; Sugden does well to crack a jaw-busting uppercut but swerves wide of the mark too often and yields the real estate when another hook on the nose threatens to derail her plan alltogether. Thomas chases her down across the boards during the final minute but fails to secure another dominant position and backs off late as the blonde looks a little misty in the eyes after taking most of the facial shots in this round.

Round 5:
Sam Fox urges the fellow blonde to rush in with more aggression but Thomas covers her off well in the opening minute before blasting a vicious cross to the cheeks that dissects the guard and enforces another close range dust-up. Imogen thrives on the uptempo assault and ignores the blonde's earmuff but piercing her elbows and making further connection with the jugs; Sugden begins to squeal under the phone booth pressure and completely misses her looping response which enables the brunette to stack her up to the body and bump off into the ropes come the final minute. Rhian applies a somewhat predictable clinch instead of perhaps having another go at her opponent but Imogen's in her mood now and cleans out the blonde's breadbasket to leave her short of breath at the bell. "How do you like that, c###?", she abuses the Mancunian shortly afterwards and needs to be wrestled back to her corner by the ref as coach Gail Kim gives her recovery surge thumbs up in the proccess.

Round 6:
Rhian obeys to coach Fox's plans and rips into the brunette's body early on in the sixth but she had more success upstairs and the change of targets doesn't suit her execution at all as Thomas groans herself through the blonde's heat and NAILS her with a cross hooking combo on the nose that spills red liquor on the canvas. Sugden slumps forward when she notices the wound and gasps for air when the Welsh foe blasts her on the liver area before wrestling her back to the ropes. Imogen's recovery truly gains momentum now as she buries the younger girl under an extended barrage to the body before slicing the mid-guard again and working on the 32E rack to complete the rout. Rhian's just trying to hang on here and reverts into meaningless single-hand response but things only get worse when she gets caught by another hooking combo on the nose inside the final ten seconds and requires immediate medical attention after the bell.

Round 7:
Rhian's nose is patched up in time for the next round but her confidence is clearly shaken as she tries to bide her time early in the seventh. Thomas dwarfs her footwork though and slowly but surely renders the high guard obsolete which threatens to open the nasal wound again. Sugden's too wary of that possibility and answers coach Fox's pleas to just lay it into the Welsh dragonette but she swings miles wide over the top and gets stuck too far forward just as the brunette shreds her with a one-two slant on the jaw. Ugh! Rhian wobbles forward with eyes closed but fails to secure a much-needed clinch so Imogen signs off the leather rush with another brutal uppercut on the chin and this time it's too much for the blonde vixen... DOWN GOES SUGDEN just sliding onto her knees and collapsing at the brunette's feet in slo-mo fashion! Imogen threatens to kick out at the fallen opponent but backs off at the last second and screams out at coach Kim instead while the blonde slumps onto all fours and stares at the blood stain created by the spillage from her nose. She only gets up at nine and points to the ref she needs more medical assistance but grudge rules prevent any mid-round stoppages which really sink Rhian mentally. Thomas just charges at her after the command and hammers more facial strikes that pound the aching Sugden back to the ropes; the younger girl just can't defend herself anymore as the Welsh model roughs her up badly and threatens to rearrange her face... several unanswered punches smear blood all over Rhian's face but the ref refuses to step in and prefers to watch as the blonde gets smacked into a complete wreck instead... Just after the two minute mark Sugden's knocked out on her feet and just slumps sideways onto the ropes... Imogen adds last punch to the busted up nose and gloats in delight when her battered opponent slides down on her backside with eyes closed to rise no more! Brutal KO7 Imogen Thomas!!!

AFTER: "Stay down, bytch!", Imogen yells out at the fallen Page Three model but it's obvious Rhian has no idea about her whereabouts at this stage. She rolls onto her side and remains crippled in KO daze until the medical team finally lifts her numb body off the canvas. Meanwhile Kate Abdo openly questions Sam Fox's decision not to throw in the towel when the eventual outcome became ineviteable following the first knockdown. "You don't give up like that on Grudge Night!", the pint-sized blonde argues with the BBU TV reporter during a heated conversation that lacks the presence of Sugden who's in no shape to give any interviews at this stage. Imogen Thomas openly dismissed the opportunity to talk to Abdo based on her Mancunian connection with the woman she's just battered into a pulp while her somewhat strained relationship with the English audience doesn't help things as the crowd awaits the Kate Lawler show in the Main Event as soon as Sugden was stretched off into the locker room. "This ain't Cardiff, folks! I'm just hoping they award me the Beatdown Of The Night bonus! Both Gail Kim & I need a frickin' drink so spare me those Kate Abdo sour grapes. She's not that important anyway!"
