BEFORE: The bitter rivalry between these two women dates back to 2005 when they starred on opposite teams during the ill-fated ITV Celebrity Wrestling show. Anyone who still remembers that late night TV flick can recall they've split a couple of close bouts on the mat and then provided the extras by allegedly ripping each other's hair our backstage. Now it's time for a boxing rematch under Grudge Sessions banner and there's no doubt both Leilani Dowding and Kate Lawler simply loathe one another and would do everything to take her opponent down to the cleaners. It's not exactly Alesha Dixon vs Jessica Schwarz-like rivalry yet but if there's one match-up available where tempers threaten to boil over after a single punch, it's this classic blonde vs brunette contest.

BBU TV's Kate Abdo thinks that Kate & Leilani would even mud wrestle each other given the chance and the fight fans in the UK are extremely fortunate that the London-born Lawler signed into the league earlier this year to make tonight's revival happen. On the other hand Dowding is a long-time BBU veteran backed by Foxfire Atlantic but her career appeared to be over in December 2013 when she suffered an almighty beating at the hands of Sam Cooke which capped off a four-fight losing streak. However the news of Lawler'a arrival sparked an improbable comeback and confidence-boosting wins over Sam Faiers and Rhian Sugden indicate the Bournemouth-born brunette truly means business... grudge business even!

No love lost between the two hellcats during the introductions as they refuse to touch gloves and verbally abuse each other. Just let the hammer drop already! Leilani Dowding wears a yellow bandeau bikini set and black gloves. Raven-black hair with brown flashes tied in a loose-knotted ponytail at the back of her head. Kate Lawler wears a navy blue bikini set with red trim and red gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a couple of tight braids. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
The crowd is naturally on the blonde's side and based on Hannah Ware's victory earlier on the card, we could see a nice little double for the home team tonight yet Leilani vows to spoil those plans as she rips into Kate's guts from the opening bell and shows no respect to slightly inferior betting odds that suggested the Wembley Arena backyard should be the deciding factor in Lawler's estimated success. The blonde tries to stick some response over the top but skims off the top of Dowding's shoulder and struggles to embrace the early midsection heat which allows the brunette to back her onto her heels and seek avoiding route thereafter. Kate romped clear to verbally submit both Billie Faiers and Imogen Thomas earlier this year but she gets a little vocal here as the high-octane jabbing onslaught from her rival proves top notch and too difficult to embrace without suffering in the proccess. This isn't the start the Wembley Arena crowd hoped for as their favorite has to clinch the Foxfire veteran in order to shut her down.

Round 2:
The difference in experience was the underrated factor coming into the fight but Leilani shows some fancy footwork to avoid the blonde's newcomer-like jabbing rush before looping heavy response over the top to connect with the nose and wobble the blonde on her heels again. Kate was all talk before the flag dropped and now seems to be struggling in finding her range as Dowding is visibly faster across the boards and shows that veteran poise that the blonde never had a chance to endure in her short BBU tenure. All credit to the Foxfire crew for not letting the tempers boil over and Leilani doesn't allow her cocky rival to throw her off guard despite more verbal insults as the round progresses. Kate misses too many strikes in her fruitless pursuit of the brunette and gets picked off from the back foot before a well-measured left/right combo on the temples really spins her back to the ropes. Dowding briefly blows her fuse with a charging drive to the guts but Kate escapes the heat by head-butting her foe and the brunette must consider herself lucky the foul move only caught her on the ear. But Lawler still tries to wrestle her to the ground and the ref has to take action to prevent further ugly scenes. Both women give each other a long death stare before walking back to their corners and Kate Abdo thinks Leilani's patience will run out quickly following that blatant foul.

Round 3:
Lawler finally shows some craft and bulldozes her way through to the brunette's midsection; she stacks Dowding up in the center of the ring with a heavy jabbing drive but moves up onto the rack after a while as Leilani tries to swing back at her for only to catch the top of the forehead and soak up a quick uppercut on the jaw instead. Kate immediately leans on her and finds extra hooking pressure on the temples while the jabbing response grazes the forearms and fails to provide any sort of respite. The biggest punch of the lot then catches the brunette on the chin one more time and enables the blonde Londoner to haze more looping strikes over the top but Dowding caves in behind a high earmuff well and settles into punching her foe to the ribcage as they wrestle for supremacy in the center of the ring during the final minute. Nobody gains the clear upper-hand in that lenghty struggle yet Lawler seems to focus on strictly boxing ideas again rather than following Helen George's dirty script.

Round 4:
Kate seeks that big punch to really punish her opponent but lacks composure on the long run and eventually settles into another high-octane override that Leilani absorbs well UNTIL she gets caught on the nose twice just after the minute mark. Of course everyone witnessed the damage Imogen Thomas inflicted on Rhian Sugden minutes ago and nobody inside the Wembley Arena would complain if the raven-haired vixen ended up with a broken nose here or something yet Kate's charge fails to back up the initial success and allows the wincing brunette to clinch her stalling the action for most of the second minute. "Let go, bytch!", Kate tries to force a break-up but Dowding escapes to the outside and has enough agility to keep her in mid distance pursuit that only increases the level of frustration. Lawler's short fuse was widely regarded as one of her weaknesses and Kate Abdo begins to wonder if the Foxfire crew didn't come up with a shrewd plan to upset the London crowd tonight? Leilani bumps into the blonde's jugs after the bell and barely avoids getting hit as Kate really doesn't seem to care about the rules anymore but the looping hook caught the shoulder and the ref was quick enough to prevent a follow up.

Round 5:
This is getting really tight now as a close range tangle has Lawler on top early in the fifth; both women are 5'6" but the blonde prefers the point-blank range attire and works from the inside to the chest stacking Dowding up on her heels. A solid JMD-like drive hoofs the brunette's mitts aside and rocks her bumpers in the proccess before another near head-butt allows Lawler to connect with an uppercut combo to the chin as Leilani was looking to find her balance in close range. She failed to do that and Lawler bumps her off towards the ropes after another gut-checking rally bears fruit. Dowding tries to escape from the looming danger but gets whacked on the liver area and eats a quick hook on the left eye to remain buried on the ropes and the final minute belongs to the Londoner who powers ahead with more body shots and outworks the slightly subdued rival with another rack-busting rally. "F### you! Stay off my tits, you dirty whore!", Leilani tries to restore some pride but Kate laughs off her pleas and twerks extra booty to please the audience leaving the Bournemouth girl to dwell on her aching rack during the interval.

Round 6:
Lawler finds her comfort zone sending more half-upercuts to the rack and Dowding begins to run out of breath soaking up too much punishment along the way. She lacks the superior agility at this stage and even though she bursts the blonde's lips into visible swelling, Kate doesn't want to yield an inch in front of her home crowd. She keeps pounding away to the torso and despite bouncing off the forearms several times, she finally pierces the brunette's guard in the second minute and connects with the solar plexus to send Leilani reeling onto the turnbuckle before too long. The Foxfire plan needs a major overhaul as the teasing simply doesn't work anymore and Kate's on top of her mental attitude with crisp body shots paving the way for more shrieking spasms from the dark-haired babe. Dowding gets stuffed into the corner, wilting under the close range pressure and Kate rocks her with a late combo on the chin to leave her bitter enemy gasping for air in visible distraught at the bell. "Got something left, bytch?", Lawler affords herself a big grin and Kate Abdo reckons the fitness aspect of this bout might well become the all important difference now as Dowding clearly gassed out in that round.

Round 7:
Leilani shifts into a high-octane jabbing rush but Kate plays the experience card now as she strays away into mid distance and lets the brunette wear herself out during the opening minute before romping into a cruel response just as Dowding's out-stretched effort missed the facial target by miles... BIG PUNCH LAWLER... the blonde creams the left brow ridge with a monster hook that gives the Bournemouth lass a proper neck cranks and slumps her on jelly knees with eyes closed just as Kate lights up the Arena with a follow up from the left that pierces the nose in a fashion Imogen Thomas would be proud off! Leilani's head snaps like jack out of the box and her mitts collapse forward enabling the blonde to home in with a brutal uppercut on the jaw that simply meets no defense whatsoever... AND DOWDING GOES ALL SHIMMY SHAKE crying out for mercy but can't find her breath again and just rolls down the windows with her arms with Kate on the spot to dsh out one extra on the mouth... AND SHE SMOKES THE ACHING BRUNETTE COLD with a right hand that could trouble the welters according to some of the local fans... Leilani's gumshield comes flying out and lands outside the ring as the girl takes a bad turn and bends awkwardly on her left knee but it's a short way down towards the boards regardless... the roar inside the Wembley Arena exceeds Kate Abdo's limits but there's simply no way back for the decked brunette who crashed into a heap and remains overwhelmed by the knockdown daze and lies crippled on her right-hand side. Kate knows it's all over and plants her foot on the fallen woman's hip and rolls her onto her back.. Leilani's all done and dusted here, eyes closed, right arm above her had and the left collapsed against the navel... she mumbles some words but nobody can understand that and nobody sans Kate Abdo even cares... The only thing that matters is KO7 Kate 'The Brawler' Lawler!!!

AFTER: "Someone's gonna have a terrible headache after this one and well, just look at this slut laying down here under my foot!", Kate quickly grabs the announcer's mic and wastes no time to put herself into the spotlight - as if the vicious knockout wasn't enough to satisfy her pride already. "This bytch deserves everything she got tonight and MORE!!! I told her I'm gonna kick her skinny ass and well, at the end of the day I simply smoked her! My guess is her gumshield will be on EBay tomorrow as I truly wrecked her with that final shot! Did you get that? Frickin' Time Magazine cover-worthy stuff (laughs) (...) Oh, wait, she's getting back to her senses... or not? Hey, bytch? U hear me? Damn, I think she just passed out for good! (laughs).

As Kate continues to stick her foot on the fallen brunette's tummy the crowd chants "Strip-her! Strip-her! but the blonde brawler indicates she's taking extra cash from Frankie Cocozza who promised her a big pay day if she dragged the battered Leilani into his private suit after the fight: "Tell ya what, Frankie likes the blondes better so tramps like Jesy Nelson & Lisa Maffia always get roughed up by him and now Dowding will join his list of sex trophies! Meanwhile real women.. blonde women like me enjoy a bottle of champaigne and... and.. oh wait, I can't say that since the kids are still watching! (...) OK, let's go bytch! You have a date with one giant lizard...."

Lawler has her gloves removed and literally drags the dazed brunette by her ankles from the ring when four bodyguards later identified as a part of Frankie's Foxes staff carry Dowding away to the VIP suites and if Frankie C.'s indeed around the place, it spells for one long & very rough night for the raven-haired hottie. Kate Abdo has had enough of her namesake's bragging though and orders to have the Grudge Sessions coverage cut short as the lack of respect shown towards the fallen woman in the Main Event was downright disturbing. And we haven't even started to talk about the terrible head-butt that marked Lawler's original plan to finally get going. There was a debate whether Nadia Forde was a deserved winner on the Ryder Cup a fortnight ago but one can only wonder how many fans Kate has won outside of London today? BBU TV reckons not that many at all and it's hardly a surprise.
