(Girls Friday vs Page Threes)

Intro:
The opening bout of the card sees new comer Josephine Skriver put her unbeaten record on the line after her first fight against the experienced page three model and stable fighter Peta Todd.
Josephine fought Abbey Crouch one month ago and knocked her out within four rounds to win her debut fight quite impressively.
Peta on the other hand has won two out of eight bouts with her last win actually at the start of the year against Manuela Arcuri but has went on to lose her last two.
Tonight is a must win for both for different reasons, Josephine has been making headlines with Elizabeth Debicki over a confrontation at the interview circuit after the last major title card, so a win gives her momentum for a possible showdown.
While Peta has had many doubters and with her husband being cyclist Mark Cavendish, she is desperate to not look a loser in front of her more successful husband in sport.

The press conference was packed for all the journalists and pundits who wanted to see all the girls on this packed card.
Out came Josephine and Peta Todd in beautiful dresses, Josephine a ref dress, while Peta had a sleek black dress that clung to her curvy figure.
Neither woman blinked in the stare down as this wasn't about becoming friends.
Ushered to sit down, both women turned and pulled a face of contempt behind the others back for the other.
Josephine was given the honour of speaking first, she said "it seems I am running the gauntlet of beautiful models from your countries"
Putting on her best smile as she turns towards Peta "I hear you have a hard punch, well let's see if you can find my chin shall we on fight night because if not then it's lights out babe"
Making her point simple and short, she sits back down as she keeps her smile for the cameras, evidently hoping they will stick on her and forget Peta.
But as Peta stands up, her scowl makes people notice her more than Josephine at this moment in time, as the Newham babe is about to speak.
"Look Jo, you are damn right I am one of the hardest if not the number one puncher in this division, I knock bytches out" she says.
Staring over at Josephine, she adds "I know you come from Victoria Secrets catalogues and catwalk but our model fighting isn't pillow fighting like your lot, we use these" before lifting her fists.
Josephine let's her smile fall a little at the mention of her and her best friends fights as "pillow fights", in fact she replies "listen Peta, unlike you, we train like machines, when we fight it can get brutal but we are like a sisterhood, you are just common from what I have seen!"
"Common!" Shouts Peta as she throws her water in the general direction of Josephine, who is trying to get at Peta to start their fight early.
Security gets involved to drag both girls off stage, which is a tall order as both are big girls in their own ways and it takes several guys to usher them out without using too much force on the girls.

The stage is set in the Principality stadium, out comes Josephine with Melanie Sykes and Eva Carneiro in tow to back her up in her corner.
She is wearing maroon shorts with a maroon bikini top with a two white strips in a cross like her national flag to show her pride as she completes the look with red gloves and her long blonde hair in a ponytail.
Out comes Peta to some boos, the Welsh fans will happily cheer anyone whose not English as proven by the Welsh football teams wild celebrations when England got knocked out this years Euros by Iceland.
Peta keeps it simple in black shorts, bikini top and gloves as she doesn't want to provoke the locals any more, especially when it's Josephine she wants to upset, her hair is pulled back into a braid to finish her look off.
She enters the ring and we have a stare off from the start, two big strong women just face to face to give men and women in the crowd something to get them excited for tonight's card from the start.
The referee quickly gets between the two women, who can be heard exchanging single word insults to each other.
Finishing his instructions quickly before it kicks off, the ref asks for a glove touch and while certainly not for respect, we get a hard bang of gloves together, the sound of leather on leather actually echo's in the ring.
Both slowly walk backwards to their corners as their eyes never leave the other, getting their gumshields in to complete the prefight list.
The referee checks his watch and looks at both fighters to see they are definitely up for this, he signals for the bell to a loud cheer to start 10 rounds of welterweight boxing action in Wales.

Round 1:
Off we go, Josephine light on her toes compared to the flat footed Peta, the Dane is working her jab at the face of Todd as she circles her, while Peta is trying to close the distance quickly to cause her own havoc here.
Peta nearly connects early with a haymaker but just misses by inches as she lunges forward, instead she takes a quick left and right straight punches to knock her back a step.
But Josephine doesn't rush in to continue her attack as the game plan is to evidently ware down the big Brit then strike when she is hurt.
Up to now it looks to be working till Josephine gets too close and Peta presses her back towards the ropes with two stiff jabs to her face that snap her head back.
Skriver just sidesteps being caught on the ropes and surprises Peta with a hard straight between her gloves and two hooks to the body.
But to Peta's credit, she shakes them off and keeps walking forwards looking to catch her prey and does get a good body shot of her own in.
The problem for Peta is that Josephine lands a hard three punch combo over the top and this time Peta is hurt as she wobbles at the knees.
Former Girls Friday girl Elena Santerelli knocked out Peta in one round in the past, so Peta's chin has been suspect and tonight it is up for questioning once again.
Peta hangs on as Josephine goes for the finish and lands some hard kidney shots that thud loudly in the arena, Josephine grimaces with each blow, showing the Brit has her strength still.
The referee separates the two and Josephine works on the back foot again with that stiff jab just slicing through the guard of Peta like a knife through butter.
The bell rings with each girl giving the other a dirty look before returning to their corners for instructions for the next round and to be cleaned up.

Round 2:
Again Peta tries to close the distance quickly but her footwork is slow and ponderous, it is what has kept her with a bad reputation in the celeb boxing world.
Josephine is happy to use her advantages as she doubles up her jab to keep slicing through the defence of Peta.
Then she is adding hooks to the body to rip away the strength she hopes of the hard puncher, which looks to be working as Peta is starting to look gun shy at the moment.
Allowing Josephine an opening to slam another jab then she connects with an uppercut that puts Peta on her backside.
The referee counts as Josephine throws insults from the neutral corner at Peta on the ground.
Peta makes it up at 8 and shakes her head but she doesn't seem too hurt at first but once Josephine is let loose, she slams a hard right hook over the top to knock Peta backwards once again.
On the ropes, Peta is just covering up as Josephine throws a barrage of punches and the referee is forced to step in and wave the fight off as Todd just isn't fighting back at all.

Winner: Josephine Skriver KO Round 2

After:
Josephine doesn't even bother to gloat over Peta as she goes back to her corner to get a hug from Melanie for her performance.
While Peta complains as she leans on the ropes about an early stoppage but judging by the way she was beaten up, the fight wouldn't have lasted much longer either way.
Even with Page Three's stable not being the most successful, they could be giving Peta an earful when she gets back into the gym as this was the perfect fight for her to make a statement and instead she is leaving the ring to mocking from the crowd at ringside.
Josephine gets a round of applause as it wasn't the most exciting fight to get started on for the card but the Danish girl did the job put in front of her.
Asked in the back about Elizabeth Debicki and herself, she replies "I have seen Elizabeth around of course and while I think she is probably nice girl, me and her seem to be in each others orbit and sadly for her, that means we will fight but for now, I am happy for her to get wins and I am happy to work on myself"
As she looks to leave, she turns back to say "but I won't let you off your beating for long Mrs Debicki hmm" before she does leave to go to the Girls Friday locker room to help with Poppy Drayton and Maisie Williams preparations.
