Unlike most JMD & JMDD fights, this battle coming in is for no real grudge, and continuing no real feud. Nikki Bella wants to continue her hot streak after beating Sasha Pieterse in June, and announced an open challenge for the Queendom - an open challenge that was answered by her opponent, Eliza Taylor. Taylor is a free agent, and made a name for herself in 2014 with 4 matches - 3 wins, and one loss to Chloe Bennet. After 2 years, Eliza returns tonight to answer the JMD call.

Nikki Bella is wearing her traditional WWE gear, since she's also gotten back into wrestling form, just adding red gloves and a ponytail. Eliza Taylor is wearing a grey sports bra and shorts, with grey gloves and pigtails - nothing fancy in this fight. Helen Flanigan is in Nikki's corner, while Sasha Pieterse is in Eliza's.

This fight is set for 10 rounds in the JMD division.

Round 1:

Nikki rushes out of the gate, like her stable's tradition, catching Eliza unaware in her corner! Eliza does make the first blow, right to the belly, but Nikki overwhelms her with a flurry of chest shots. She clearly wants a shot at the JMD title, breaking the lady's agreement to hold off on jug shots until later in the fight. Or at least the rules Eliza thought she knew. Eliza is shocked at first, but rapidly shines off her ring rust and meets Nikki halfway on offense. The bell rings during the jumble, and both fighters retreat to their corners.

Round 2:

Now it's Eliza's turn to get on the offensive in this round. Her rust has completely worn off, and now she's back in form fighting! Nikki wasn't around when Eliza was a major force in the FCBA, so she's a bit unprepared for this night. Both factors combine to see Eliza keep control through the round, taking chances with hard shots when Nikki comes close to a comeback. The score has evened out after two.

Round 3:

With a head full of steam and vinegar, Nikki comes back with full force in this round! She starts with a drilling left to the stomach, and does not let up an inch for the rest of the round! Eliza is stunned - clearly the competition has gotten stronger in the last two years - and can't put up enough of an effective offense or defense. Only her veteran instinct keeps her alive after this round.

Rounds 4 and 5:

While Nikki took the last round pretty well, she gassed out in the process, leaving her easy pickings for Eliza in the next two rounds. In the fourth round, Eliza took her time fighting, picking apart Nikki piece by piece. In the fifth round, she starts to take a bit more chances with Nikki, trying to finish her off, but Nikki is recovered more and fights back. At the end, Nikki is barely there on the ropes while Eliza is serving wide with two great rounds.

Round 6:

Eliza, once again, starts the round off strong like the last few rounds, now focused on sealing the deal and finishing off her opponent. Nikki is in much better shape than before, and manages to block some of Eliza's blows as well as dishing out some of her own. The turning point in the last minute is when Eliza takes a chance and goes for a straight jug shot, but Nikki catches her with a right cross to the jaw AND SHE GOES DOWN! Eliza shatters and flops to the mat in a complete shock, getting on her knees soon enough to prepare to get back up, and she does at 5. The bell rings soon afterwards.


Round 7:

Nikki and Eliza both show no mercy at the start of this round, colliding fists into each other in the center of the ring, both needing to pick up the tempo and a win at this point in the fight. However, the knockdown from last round shook up Eliza, and she finds herself sliding behind in effort as the seconds tick by! Nikki gets the wind on her side, and in the second minute smashes Eliza's tummy with an uppercut! She collapses on her knees again, but then transitions to her stomach, face down on the mat! She responds a little to the count, but not enough to get up as Nikki Bella wins by KO7!

After the win, Eliza is getting back up in her corner, but has a bit of trouble. Sasha gets her standing by the time Nikki saunters on over...and is stunned when Nikki goes for a straight-forward hug instead of a smother! Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, Taylor accepts the embrace, asking why not a regular smother. "Well," Bella replies, "you don't deserve it after that effort! I want to see you more fighting!" Eliza smiles as they continue the hug before a moment longer, going their seperate ways afterwards.
