Joo Minhee versus Meghan Markle

(Words: WW / Results: Lookout!)

BEFORE: Joo Minhee, who's been on a streak as of late, versus free agent Meghan Markle, a free agent who's up and down, but certainly no pushover in the ring. Perhaps tonight will be the night that Meghan finally grabs the attention of a stable, because she seems prepared to earn it!

"Oh, sure, add another irrelevant foreign starlet to your roster. Don't call up someone who actually gets results!" Markle says, unimpressed. "It's high time that I finally get recognized and hired, and demonstrating how much better I am than this new recruit might be the kick in the pants for all of you watching this!"

"Oh, sorry, but...I don't really plan on losing today." Minhee says, confidence in her voice. "I've been on a serious roll as of late! But it's making me think that I might need to fight some stronger competition. I don't know if Meghan is considered the girl to beat, but I hope that this match shows that I'm here to stay and that I'm ready to be taken seriously now. Meghan and I are both fighting for importance, in a way, and as FCBA's face of Korea, I don't plan on letting my country fade into obscurity!"

Meghan wearing an orange and black one-piece swimsuit, while Minhee wears a bandeau-top and hot pants combo that looked wrapped in gauze, as if she was a mummy.

ROUND 1: Both come out from neutral, guards up and ready to roll. Minhee is the aggressor, trying to pierce through Meghan’s guard but finding herself unsucessful, eating some countershots for her trouble. Backing away, Meghan is more than happy to try and land some more shots, her jabs finding their mark on Minhee’s stomach. She throws a left jab to the head and Minhee swerves out of the way to land a countershot to Meghan’s cheek! The two do a nice back-and-forth, Minhee attempting to push Meghan back into the ropes. Fortunately, the actress is smarter than that, and she stands her ground while she peppers the Korean popstar with countershots. Minhee tries to move past them, but she can’t ignore them forever as Meghan slowly builds up momentum: Meghan takes the chance and throws a clever powershot, forcing Minhee back to center ring in a hasty retreat! The two slug it out a little bit more before the bell rings, but it’s clear that Meghan is the one in control when you look at the points. Meghan for round 1.

ROUND 2: Meghan looking ready to win as she comes out of her corner. Minhee keeps a serious expression as the two glare at each other and circle. Minhee breaks first, landing a sneaky stomach shot to catch the actresss off guard, then following up with a breast shot. She throws her left, but Meghan ducks it and punishes with a breast shot of her own! Minhee tries to counter, but Meghan blocks and dodges Minhee’s jabs-into-straight combo, punishing her with a quick uppercut. She’s able to throw a few more hits into Minhee’s face before the Korean girl tries to avoid any more offense. Meghan won’t let her get away that easily, though, as she gets really close to her and starts hammering hard! Minhee’s forced to brawl in order to fight back, the two slug each other back and forth for a while, but it’s Meghan’s right cross that wins the day as Minhee goes crosseyed for just a split second! That split second is just enough for Meghan to really unload into the ribs and chest, ending the flurry with a right hook! Minhee bounces off the ropes and Meghan continues her assault on the Korean’s guard before the bell rings. Meghan really fighting her way to the top, and she did some good damage! She takes this round easily, stretching with a smirk as she walks back to her corner and a slightly frazzled Minhee shakes her head in order to wake herself up.

ROUND 3: Excited to capitalize, but trying to be careful, Meghan starts off slow once more, trying to catch Minhee making a mistake before going in hot. Minhee’s playing it ultra safe, her guard catching every shot, and dodging others when she needs to get a break. Meghan’s looking a little frustrated as her left-right-left hits the air, gets parried, and ducked under in that order—and Minhee SLAMS her glove into Meghan’s stomach! Meghan gasps loudly, and the popstar has her chance to really pummel the actress! She’s more than happy to take it: her strikes are quick, but decently powerful. It’s possible that in just one combo, Minhee was able to catch up to the damage Meghan did earlier! Minhee still gets hit with a few strikes as Meghan panics, but Minhee powers through a right to the chest in order to rattle Meghan’s head with a left hook! Meghan still trying to land what she can on Minhee, but Minhee’s still either tanking it or avoiding it, while the actress is just getting herself more hurt over time. The round ends with another stomach punch from Minhee, which lets her seal the round in her favor. Meghan’s good start might be turning a little bad…

ROUND 4: The two make it to center ring, Meghan deciding to go aggressive now instead of biding her time like last round. The change in strategy almost works, but Minhee dodges, blocks, dodges, parries, and PUNISHES!! Minhee throws a right hand to stop the assault, and it lands right into Meghan’s stomach again! Meghan desperate now, still throwing power punches in an attempt to do anything to the popstar, but it’s amounting to nothing as Minhee just weaves around it all! The girl really picked up speed after last round! Minhee leans backwards as Meghan’s left floats past her, and leans forward with an amazing HAYMAKER! Meghan practically spins for a second, still standing but stunned, and Minhee strikes her right in the ribs twice! As Meghan moans in pain, Minhee silences her with a left hook, then a right hook! Meghan’s counter punches are getting weaker now, and Minhee’s just getting stronger as she continues to dominate the poor American actress! Meghan finds herself trapped in a corner with a determined Minhee, still getting pummeled and sending spit and blood into the crowd. The ref steps in just as the bell rings, but he still asks Meghan if she’s alright. She seems a bit stunned, but she nods her head yes. She isn’t out of this race yet, but if it wasn’t for rounds, that would’ve been a cruel ending sequence right there! Minhee conquers this round: and the Korean girl couldn’t be happier, raising her hands high to an excited crowd. She blows a kiss to her fans as she ends her strut to the corner, giving another section a wink as she rests comfortably.

ROUND 5: Meghan was repaired pretty well, but she’s still looking a little weary…Minhee can’t help but smile a little bit as she realizes she has control. She throws the first shots, which connect as Meghan was just a little too slow to dodge them. Meghan tries her best to fight back, trying to escape with well-placed strikes. She’s fleeing all over the ring, but Minhee’s just getting closer and closer, faster and faster, stronger and stronger! She swings at Minhee, grazing the Korean girl’s face, but that isn’t enough to stop her as Minhee slams a glove into her cheek. That looks like it was Meghan’s last chance: Minhee does a textbook punching combination to assault just about every part of poor Meghan, the grand finale being an echoing uppercut. Meghan crashes to the mat, Minhee still smiling as she awaits the results. Every three seconds the ref counts down, she tries to make an attempt, but only finds herself falling right back into the canvas. She can’t—and won’t—get up, and the ref declares this a KO! KO5 Joo Minhee!

AFTER: Minhee celebrates excitedly, as yet another girl has fallen to the member of STELLAR! She’s really on a roll, but perhaps her comment on getting some stronger competition is true.

“I think I’m ready to fight some stronger girls, and I hope other people think that, too.” Minhee says, matter-of-factly. “I wish the best for Meghan, but she just wasn’t going to beat me: I have Korean resilience, power, and speed! And it’s not going anywhere, either!

Minhee still seems giddy as she exits the ring, head held high, while Meghan is still on the floor, recovering from her defeat.
