Michelle Ryan versus Sarah Lancaster

Intro:
Two possible future contenders for the welterweight title fight as Michelle Ryan fights former two time champion Sarah Lancaster. Michelle has been on a run in the past few months, starting by beating her rival Rebecca Romijn, then beating Abbie Cornish on the beach before taking down another old foe Natasha Henstridge.

While Sarah Lancaster remains a top welterweight contender in the division after winning the welterweight revival last year and then her second welterweight title not long afterwards. Her title run ended to Regan and her one fight this year was a brutal ten round war with new blood champion and instant success story Karlie Kloss.

An instant dislike was forged between these two as Michelle showed a list on a daytime talk show that she claimed was her hit list of old worn out fighters, who need to be put out of their misery. On the list was Romijn and Henstridge crossed off but under Theron and Nolin was Lancaster in big bold letters.

Sarah asked to comment about the list and Michelle's comments about her being too old replied "Michelle is a nobody, she has never won anything and if she thinks I am like the others on her list, then boy is she going to be surprised.”

Upping the ante between the two, Michelle placed videos on her social media of her punching a blown up in size photo of Sarah's face on a punch bag. Finishing by ripping the photo, Michelle says to the camera " Sarah, just retire now before I bust your face up in real life"

At the weigh in, tempers blew over as they posed down in black bikinis, Michelle was cockily smirking and putting her fist to the face of Sarah's for the photos. Sarah exploded, slapping Michelle and taking her down, as the two fought it out on stage with hair pulls, slaps and claws out. Security dragged the two warring brunettes away from each other and the press conference was cancelled as one the two were likely to go at in and two what would sell the fight better then two strong women cat fighting in bikinis. Fighting time, out comes Michelle Ryan with Melanie Sykes and Eva Carneiro in her corner for tonight. Well Michelle seems to have a sense of humour under all that nastiness it seems as she comes out wearing a sports top and Lycra workout pants but it's the silver paint on her face and up her arms is designed to look like a snap shot of her bones underneath being robotic to show off that she is supposed to be bionic.

Michelle was the lead in the failed Bionic Woman reboot nearly a decade ago and on closer inspection, she has a metallic heart painted on her bust.

Entering the ring, Michelle has her fair share of lovers and haters in her fan base as she gets a loud but mixed response from the cheer. As she is getting on a set of black gloves, the crowd all look up the ramp to see Sarah Lancaster in a certainly unique attire. She has a green bikini on but on closer inspection she has a leaf pattern design on it as she is supposed to resemble Eve from biblical stories.

The crowd are all excited as Sarah isn't afraid to show off her hot body to the crowd and Michelle looks to be seething in the ring at the show that her rival is putting on. Getting into the ring, Sarah looks directly at Michelle with a look of "suck on it" to the reaction she got compared to the one Michelle herself got. Sarah gets on green gloves as she warns up in her corner like Michelle is in hers, before they are called to the ring centre to get this party started.

Each fighter bumps body to body till the referee can push them apart and he warns them "this is boxing ladies, if this descends into a street fight then I will call this fight off, obey me at all times and we will get along nicely" Asked to touch gloves, neither does as instead they fire one last insult at each other before turning to go back to their corners. Gumshields are put in as final instructions are said by coaches and the referee checks his watch before signalling for the bell to begin 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
Out come the fighters, both experienced so neither rushes out to risk getting caught early, instead they work their way forwards with the jab. Testing each other in the early going till Sarah up the tempo quickly and lashes in two meaty hooks to the body of Michelle to make the English girl take a step back. Sarah faints that she is going to step forward and smirks as a harmless right straight goes past her head before she steps in behind it to land a stiff jab over the top. All Ryan can do is cause herself for being too predictable, she quickly changes strategy by using her legs to surge forward, forcing Sarah into a fire fight early on. Both women lace the other across faces and get loud grunts from each other as thuds can be heard coming off cheeks being hit. Sarah faints one way then drives forward the other to clear some space and unbalance her opponent enough to step in once again to land two right hooks that seem to hurt Michelle. The slightly smaller fighter clinches up and Sarah can be seen gloating into the ear of Michelle as her pent up anger is being released. The referee separates them and Michelle proves she is still OK by stepping under a jab by Sarah to crack her now to the jaw, Sarah shakes her head as she steps back to show she was rattled for a moment, before Sarah jabs her way out of trouble. Michelle tries to step in herself but that pinpoint jab of Sarah's is doing it's job of keeping Ryan off her and giving her space to work with. As Sarah adds in some good straights to put Michelle on the back foot already and only a late hook at the bell from Michelle gives the Brit some comfort that she didn't do too bad that round. But it's Sarah who is almost bobbing up and down on her toes back to her corner, happy with her early work and hoping she can build on it.

Round 2:
Michelle continues to get herself into a mess early in the round as Sarah has her thinking cap on and you don't let a boxer like Lancaster think. Sarah is dancing around Michelle with the jab out before sending her bigger shots in to get through the guard to knock the head of Michelle back. All Michelle can do early is try to soak up the punishment on her gloves as best as she can before finding a way to get at her rival. But at the moment Sarah is too mobile for Michelle to do much then throw some counter punches if she gets close enough to strike back. Sarah's best shots of the round come as she flicks the jab out towards the head of Michelle before the real punch comes in the form of a right hook to the body, then as the guard comes down with Michelle groaning, Sarah lands a left hook that makes Michelle stumble. She gets her legs back in time before Sarah can take her head off with a right hook, just getting out the way as she almost looks like wiping her brow and saying "that was close" Instead Michelle seems to decide to go all out and goes for Sarah with a vengeance late in the round but the bell rings before she can land anything of note. The fighters glare at each other as Michelle almost begs Sarah to try something to give her an excuse to hit her after the bell. Luckily for the referee, they head back to their corners cursing each other, Sarah looks impressive and all questions on her quality as a top fighter look to be premature.

Round 3:
Both fighters head out with a game plan but it is Michelle who just throws hers out the window and instead throws a hard lunging straight to get the round started. What prevails is a heated brawl between two strong women, heads get snapped from hard punches as they just unleash on the other in the most primal way possible. It gets so bad, they clash bodies trying to hook each other into oblivion and instead they lock into a grapple, shoving each other backwards with the referee quickly getting between the two. Both are snarling at each other as their faces are reddening up from the slugging each other moments ago, both get a warning. It doesn't seem to deter them as they shove each other to land some jarring hooks onto each others bodies and faces. Before they clinch up and keep clubbing each other to the kidney's as they can't stop hitting each other it seems. Again they are separated but quickly they both coming together and after clashing heads, that slows them down as they get separated and hold their foreheads. The referee warns both to watch their heads then checks for any blood, luckily neither is cut but they will most likely have a big bruise. The rest of the round is just single punches as they need to recover some energy from just throwing everything at each other. At the bell, both raise their arms to a loud roar from the crowd as each stares at the other and says "f*** you, I won that round!" Before they get back at it, their coaches shout for them to get back now or the referee will disqualify them, to which they take the advice but are waiting to get back at each other.

Round 4:
After that round Michelle seems to have gotten in the head of Sarah, the silky boxing is gone for just brawling and Michelle now has her chance. The early going is more brawling between the two, till Michelle presses Sarah to the ropes and starts hammering her to the body with several short sharp punches. Sarah pushes her away to land two slick jabs but as they circle each other, Sarah can't keep Michelle off her as the Brit slams a straight to her nose then adds another hook to the body as she is trying to gut Sarah. The body of Sarah looks to be bruised already and you have to wonder how sore she is as the groans from her lips are steadily getting worse with each hit. But she does snap a straight into the lips of Michelle, that cuts the bottom lip causing blood to drip onto her chin. It gives Sarah the space to work the jab for a moment but then with her legs not having the spring in them from the pain in her body, Michelle manages to get in tight again. Pounding a right and left hook to the flanks of Sarah, Lancaster has to clinch up as Michelle almost pushes her through the ropes. The referee has had enough and deducts a point from Michelle, who protests that Sarah herself was falling through the ropes, nothing to do with her. He doesn't agree as he waves both girls to get back at it and maybe
Sarah wishes he hadn't pissed off Michelle as she seems to actually hit harder after the point is taken off, most likely because at best she can draw her best round of the fight. Sarah again has to clinch up as she can be heard breathing hard as Michelle to prove a point has to arms pointing out to the sides and
barks at the referee "is this what you want to see?" Pulling them apart, Michelle stalks Sarah down, who is flicking the jab out but the lack if fights this year seem to have taken their toll on Sarah, she doesn't look her usual self. That doesn't mean Michelle is going to hold back as she slams a barrage to the head of Sarah to knock her to the ropes. The bell rings to save her from further punishment as Michelle snaps at her "I told you that you should have just retired, you're not that champ anymore" Sarah just stares back but can't argue at the moment as blood is dripping from her nose as it took a hammering at the end of the round. Both corners get to work on their girls but Sarah looks shot on her stool, holding her stomach and the blood on her lower face makes her look fit for Halloween.

Round 5:
Sarah gets a loud cheer as she stands up but Michelle looks hungry for a knock out and stalks her prey straight from the off. But Sarah isn't that easy to catch in the early going as she aims to strike at those bloody lips of Michelle to keep her back. It works in the early part of the round but once Michelle does get to the body, it's game over as a right hook to Sarah's side has her almost down, the left hook to the other side does. Sarah goes down cradling her body as the former champion looks chewed up and spat out as the referee begins his count. Michelle is mocking Sarah by waving her up and as Sarah does begin to sit up, she finds that she hasn't the strength to push herself back up or she just really doesn't want to get up as the 10 count is made and the bell is rung.
Winner:Michelle Ryan KO Round 5

After:
As the bell rings, Michelle is straight over to Sarah and shoves her to her back with her foot, before she kneels on her rival to gloat. "I told you Sarah, you are finished, I will admit if this was 10 years ago, you may have beat me but deep down you know you will never recapture that title while real fighters like me are around" says Michelle as she gets into the face of the downed Sarah. Sarah wants to get up and tear this bytch apart but hasn't the energy, who can only stay down and take the abuse  from Michelle.

The referee is trying to get Michelle off, which just gets a stare of hate from the beauty to the official to signal him to screw himself. She orders the cameras into the ring as they climb into the ring and Michelle says "this is history, one more legend is beating down for the new breed" Before she looks down one more time and says just for Sarah to hear "you said I had never been a champ, you are right but after I dispose of trash like you, what's to say I can not wait to hold the welterweight title over my head" Sarah just shuts her eyes waiting for this moment to end, all she knows is that the first chance she gets, she is going back into the gym to get back into her best shape and going to shut her doubters up.

Michelle finally gets bored as she gets up to get her gloves taken off and her arm lifted up by the referee. While Sarah is still getting photographed and recorded on video, laying on the canvas, till her coach gets through and with the referee, they clear the ring to help Sarah out of the ring.

Michelle leaves the ring not long after and bumps into an interviewer backstage, who asks her about the list and her future. She replies "look the list is simple, you have a bunch of 40 year olds hanging around my division, the reason this division has been treated poorly is because of that reason, I am a one woman crusade on that subject" But she smiles widely as she says "but you know Sarah was also right, I have never been a champion, I have had 24 fights and have won more than I have lost, yet I have never won the big one, let's change that shall we and maybe I can make my changes at the top then wading through the bottom hmm" she leaves with a wink to the camera.
