Cheryl Cole vs Emilia Clarke
(Lioness Club vs Lookout! Atlantic Boxing)
(FCBA Record: 10-2, 10 KO vs 4-2, 4 KO)
Results: Lookout; Story: Vassago

BEFORE: With all due respect to Jenna-Louise Coleman, this is probably the UK's prime-time flyweight match-up. Cheryl Cole remains the most glamorous name in the music industry in the post-Spice Girls era while Emilia Clarke's 'Game Of Thrones' career has long overshadowed Emma Watson's teenage glory days on the set of 'Harry Potter' franchise.

These two brunettes have never met under BBU rules and it's perhaps fitting it only takes the MGM Grand Arena to stage such a high-profiled contest. While the NFL travels across the Atlantic to host the International Series these days, there's apparently nothing wrong with an English fight for the ages to be held in Las Vegas either. But don't tell that to resident crossover critics based in the Tractorpull Magazine HQ!

Cheryl Cole wears a black & white vertical striped bikini set and golden gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Emilia Clarke wears a red bikini top, white knickers and black gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a similar sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Cheryl's well known for her aggressive style but for once she gets jumped out of the gate and it's clear the Lookout crew spend plenty of time watching the tape as Clarke immediately applies heavy slugging pressure and picks the Geordie singer off with up-tempo jabbing up the middle. She splits the older brunette's guard repeatedly and staggers her into a stubborn defense after a while as Cole just can't match the intensity on top of not expecting it at all. Ems channels the HBO Alpha status here and continues to pound away in fury forcing the singer back onto the ropes; even Cheryl's allegedly superior footwork ain't gonna do the trick as she has to clinch the actress just to stay relevant during the opener but Clarke still whips her on the ribcage late on to run away with a shockingly one-sided opener.

Round 2:
It's safe to say that opening round made the Geordie lass really angry and you don't want to see an angry Cheryl seeking revenge given her monster FCBA numbers since jumping ship from BBU full-time. Only Vanessa Hudgens and Lucy Hale got the better of the 33 year old and Erin Andrews simply doesn't believe Clarke is up with these two despite Hudgens offering valuable Lookout insight. There's plenty of Cole tape available as this is her 49th fight across two organizations and sure enough, the revenge mission is on as soon as Clarke gets beaten for an overhand approach and soaks up a left hook on the nose. Cole powers ahead with more juice and lands crisp hooks between the fellow brunette's arms; she snaps Emilia's head backwards but the actress displays surprisingly nifty footwork to escape underneath a similar onslaught during the second minute and dances around the ropes as Cole loses time channeling a red mist approach that affects her precision. Ems ain't gonna convince the judges with that fancy escape but avoiding damage is effectively at premium for the London-born underdog.

Round 3:
Erin Andrews admits that ESPN had to buy out special rights to show one of HBO's top TV stars on their menu tonight but thankfully Asylum's coverage eased the potential conflict as well. After all, HBO doesn't enforce their will to put Clarke on one of the monthly cards over in Philadelphia for whatever reason however Cole wants to make sure the fellow brunette won't get invited anywhere anytime soon as she hauls in more close range punches and displays that slightly faster execution along the way. Give credit to the Londoner though, she hangs in tough and dukes it out as long as she can but a nasty hook on the lips half way through finally reels her back and the final minute channels a familiar scenario with a Geordie pursuit dominating the action yet Clarke remains bendy on her toes and escapes all the meaningful stuff from her opponent. "Stupid dragonette! Just wait until I #### you apart!", Cole's unhappy about those tactics but the Lookout stable gives you no easy outs on both sides of the pond.

Round 4:
Both girls are running hot and Clarke beats the singer for the initial punch which is a welcomed change but she really sinks Cole with a huge follow up that bursts through on the nose and makes the older brunette scream out in pain. A jabbing flurry follows and camps itself well into the singer's face reeling her onto the ropes in a hurry. Emilia gets all vocal in her push to break the Geordie resilience and pounds away like there's no tomorrow with Cheryl weaving around on her feet but unable to shake off the heat. AND THEN SHE GETS CAUGHT ON THE WINDPIPE... Ems takes a step back and hauls one in between the gloves just as Cole raised her head... Ugh! CHERYL IS HURT... worse even... DOWN SHE GOES!!! The might of Newcastle hits the deck on all fours and spits out her gumshield trying to catch her breath. That would pay extra bucks on HBO!!! Clarke tries not to errupt in joy just yet as she struts back to manager Nicole Richie... Cole sits down on her heels and indicates she's good to go... she's up at eight and gains bonus seconds while the ref picks up her mouthpiece... thankfully for the whole of Tyne & Wear, Clarke can't apply similar pressure with Cheryl weaving around on her feet and staying clear of the ropes but that was as huge as it gets in terms of upsetting the odds!

Round 5:
Emilia must follow up on that knockdown and she knows it without the sub-titles; the problem is, Cole's feisty attitude allows her to erase that torrid moment from her memory so the Vegas audience gets to enjoy a classic flyweight bash with both girls dishing out heavy punishment... can Clarke deliver another head-turning series? NO, SHE CAN'T!!! The younger brunette gets caught by a double uppercut strike and then Cole almost pierces through her eye socket with a right hook that was probably the singer's hardest shot of the night! Oi, Emilia! The Londoner checks out along the ropes yielding real estate and all the advantage she carried through from the fourth... and Cheryl adds more juice as she connects with the exposed chin for a while until the actress bellows out behind a tight earmuff and awaits the bell... Cole hammers in a late jabbing flurry on the midsection to complete her recovery and now we're set for an UK battle royale as Cheryl flushes the whole Lookout entourage down the gutter while walking back to her corner. The second half of this fight will be Clarke's true FCBA coming of age according to Erin Andrews!

Round 6:
Emilia tries to keep her war face on after that fifth round blitz but the Geordie train gains more momentum as the punches fly around in the sixth. Chezza outworks her rival in a classic flyweight phone booth melee and adds leather hand over fist resulting in a couple of nasty cuts left on the Londoner's face. But Ems just won't back off unless she's forced to. She leans on the singer and whips a steady body assault for a change yet she fails to embrace the full extent of that head hunting pursuit and bellows out into another desperate earmuff defense come the final minute. Cole barks with literally every punch thrown now as she shuts down the HBO's finest in the Lookout corner late and even Nicole Richie's anguished screams won't help Clarke in getting out of that hole!

Round 7:
Paris Hilton of all people gets down ringside to help out Emilia's dwindling hopes of surviving the Geordie onslaught; the ever-present blonde takes over the play-calling from Nicole Richie but once the flag drops, it's Chezza calling the shots again! Emilia just stays in the close range tangle and that's almost a suicidal plan at this stage which only results in more bruises and lumps marking that pretty face. The pride of the Union Jack is on the line though here in Vegas of all places... Come the half-way mark Emilia's running on fumes though as the one-dimensional head hunting assault does the trick and renders her into a staggered and yelping mess with Cole slicing and dicing herself into total control. This is too much, simply too much as Clarke crumbles under the phone booth pressure and drops her guard wholesale while trying to hang on upright... a left hook cleans out her mouth and bends into a follow up from the right that pierces her ear-drums and SENDS CRASHING FACE DOWN at the singer's feet! "Hah! There you go, c###!", Chezza thinks she's won it on the spot and dances around the fallen 'Game Of Thrones' star but with the UK pride on the line, Ems gives it one last shot helped by the referee's efforts to wrestle the Geordie girl back to her corner. The count is delayed and Clarke beats it at eight and a quarter... the clock expires few seconds later with Cole staring over Emilia's shoulder and making throat slit gestures at Paris & Nicole. Clarke looks dead on her feet but the Lookout crew ain't gonna throw in the towel now. However the fat lady is singing loud and clear...

Round 8:
Paris Hilton's ego is valued higher than Emilia Clarke's well-being and Chezza wraps the Lookout camp into ineviteable PR disaster as she pounds away at the barely conscious opponent who's just eating punches like skittles in the eight and this is the Geordie wrath... Geordie power... just whatever you'd like to call it... Twenty seconds in and Clarke is send back to her dragons as she half-spins into one last hook on the jaw that sends her gumshield flying into the stands... THE POOR GIRL IS OUT OF HER SENSES EVEN BEFORE SHE HITS THE DECK!!! Down she goes like a sack of potatoes and it's a brutal KO8 Cheryl Cole in lights out fashion!!!

AFTER: Whoa! Did anyone expect anything less than one girl ending up unconscious in the Union Jack derby? Tyne & Wear rules, Cheryl frickin' Cole rules and well, who needs Jenna Coleman around here? St. James Park & Metro Radio Arena will explode tonight in wake of this epic display of Geordie Power's finest hour!

"Just take this trash straight back to London!", Chezza couldn't care less about the woman she completely smoked just seconds ago and makes her way to the Lookout corner where Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are ready to dig their claws into the brunette's flesh... oh, wait... someone's still got her gloves on... a shouting match between the three women occurs and the ESPN audience gets an extra dose of that notorious accent that got Cheryl released from the US X Factor series a while back... but one can really do without the sub-titles here. Paris vows to gather her official crew to make amends for this monster beating and apparently another Lioness vs Lookout stable war is very much on... all thanks to the vicious presence of one Geordie singer... "Just make sure Jenna stays far away from me! That slut didn't offer me a BBU title shot and I don't need her straps over here when I've got other ideas! Emma Watson, here I come!"

Whether Jenna Coleman remains UK's top flyweight is up for debate (at least over in Tyne & Wear) but a proud operator like Chezza will never forget the main reason why she put her BBU career on hold and ventured into the US market in first place. She was famously ommitted from the title picture back home despite beating the likes of Michelle Keegan and Demi Lovato as early as 2011 and five years later, she's not gonna bother with the lifetime achievement opportunity. Well, Diana Ross never won a competitive Grammy either and Cheryl herself is relatively fine with being called the best British flyweight to have never won the straps. That itself is a reason to be proud of.

Final result: Cheryl Cole def. Emilia Clarke KO8.
