VIX: Sand & Smother Mini-PPV

Pre-fight Interviews / Weigh-ins:

A bright sunny-day on Santa Monica beach! After last month’s successful PPV, the Vixens decided to move the action outside before the weather turns too frigid. Makeshift ring-posts set up in the sand below the pier near the waves, for girls to utilise post-match should they choose to.

Similar to last time, an open-house policy saw the stable invite independent fighters to come in and test the Vixens. Some highlights from the pre-fight press conference and weigh-ins below:

1. Lily Collins vs. Jamie-Lynn Spears

No personal, bad blood between fighters, just some good, old-fashioned contempt as they stare-down at center of the stage.

“She’s a washed up American princess, overshadowed by her big sister,” Lily smirks into microphone, throwing shade at the blonde on the other end of the table. “I think she’ll make a perfect first conquest for my foray over to this side of the Atlantic.”

Jamie-Lynn just a grin on her face. “Lily’s been a failure over in the BBU.” The American singer, actress turns, sees Lily’s smirk transform into a deep frown. “No reason to think that will change over here this side.”

Both Flyweights continue to trash-talk amid camera flashes as they meet along the sea-line. Lily in black-cloth bikini, tied in cute knot behind back and just below trunks, shaking right green glove in Jamie’s face. Jamie unfazed, in pink top and briefs, all-American red and blue mitts calmly placed on hips, goading the Brit to throw first punch.

2. Alyssa Lynch vs. Hailey Baldwin

Both girls have something to prove - Hailey coming off a stinging loss to Saoirse Ronan in the New Blood Flyweight Final, a fight she, and many others, thought was in the bag. Alyssa herself humiliated at the hands of Vixen's own Alexis Ren in their past encounter backstage, takes out anger and frustration on Hailey by mere association and similarity of her blonde locks.

Alyssa smirking, points to a sign in the crowd that reads:

“Nothing personal to you, Hailey, but nothing pleased me more to see Saoirse beat your ass. Blondes beating up blondes is the best kind of beatdown.” Alyssa nods with satisfaction.

“Well…” Hailey starts, a knowing grin on her face. “I personally enjoyed the part when the brunette gets smothered the f*** out by the blonde,” she coos as Alyssa's face turns a bright pink. “Not once, not twice. But today, it'll be three times.” Hailey holds up three fingers to the crowd for emphasis and the roar that greets her seems to suggest that everyone is also picturing the same thing in their minds.

Referee and officials nervous as both women waste no time closing distance on the shoreline and getting in each other's face. Hips push and chests shoving against each other as they continue trading insults about their hair colour. Alyssa in pearly-white bikini with yellow gloves; Hailey is in multi-coloured print top, orange bottom (pictured above), with black gloves for simplicity.

3. Kyra Santoro vs Lindsey Morgan

“I LOVE THE 100!!” Kyra can't control enthusiasm for the sci-fi show. “Lindsey is such a bad-ass inside, and she’s equally wicked in real-life. When I requested for this fight, I didn't think she’d say yes!” Kyra continues to beam at the cameras.

“It’s always nice to meet a fan and know your work is appreciated on-screen,” Lindsey smiles back slightly from across the makeshift table, then her tone turns serious. “But I hope Kyra realises that real-life can still hurt her.”

“Of course I know all that mumbo-jumbo, ‘I will-beat-the-crap-out-of-you-even-though-you’re-my-idol’ nonsense,” Kyra bounces up and down in her seat. “I still can't wait!”

Cameras briefly catch glimpse of Lindsey’s trademark rolling of eyes to the side (but not deliberately in Kyra’s direction) at her over-excitement. Kyra in white bikini with blue polka dots, dark blue gloves. Lindsey in contrasting bright orange-red bikini, dark red gloves, as both fighters pose at respectable distance.

4. Emily Ratajkowski vs Natalie Martinez

First question addressed to both women is, “Why her? Why this fight?”

“In terms of career and trajectories? We couldn't be further apart,” Emily shrugs. “But I respect Natalie's ring-work. I think she fights tooth-and-nail to get what she wants… despite her obvious disadvantages.” Emily concludes with a telling smirk.

Natalie shocked for a second, then responds with baited breath: “I think Emily can sugar-coat her insults all she wants, but let me be direct with her - you're nothing but a slut, Ratajkowski, and when I’m done with you, your "model" jugs won’t be no advantages any longer.”

Emily turning away with a laugh, clearly getting to Natalie’s head. Natalie dressed in tanned, sandy bikini, classic black gloves as she approaches Emily, who's clearly going for more flash: decked in American-themed skimp-bikini, midnight-black mitts. Both girls get close and in other’s face. Emily whispers something inaudible as they stare down. Nat clearly agitated, frown deepening on face as she trades an insult in Spanish, points threatening glove at Emily’s rack. Referee quickly separates girls as they start chesting into one another.

5. Alexis Ren vs Suki Waterhouse

“I only have one word to describe her: LOSER LOSER LOSER.” Alexis bares her tongue as she plants L-shaped fingers on her forehead.

“That’s three words, you dumb b*tch.” Alyssa shoots back from the other side of the table whilst Suki sits back, hands on lap, clearly looking nervous at the exchange.

“Ladies and gentlemen, this is what happens when the losers can’t beat winners.” Alexis gestures to the crowd. “They congeal together and form a loser-squad.”

“We’re standing up to smug-ass b*tches when we see one,” Alyssa shoots back, smiling smugly. “No one likes you, Alexis... Not even Steve.”

The name of VIXENs Head Trainer seems to be a trigger-word - Alexis immediately jumps from her chair and rushes at Alyssa at the other end of the table. Crowd ROARS as Alyssa also springs to feet, but is tad too slow - brunette’s body folded in half as she’s speared to the sand by the wild blonde, arms and legs flying.

Suki watches by the side in horror, not knowing how to intervene, if at all, until referees charge in and pry the wildcats apart. Alyssa immediately takes to Suki’s side, screaming. “WE'LL KILL HER, SUKI. MAKE THE B*TCH PAY.”

Alexis laughs maniacally as she climbs to her feet. “Fight your own battles, ASS-lyssa.” Blonde gestures threatening at Suki. “Don’t send a lamb to a cat fight.”

Alexis in all-white, bunching black-red gloves together SMACK SMACK as intimidation technique. Suki in modest green-bikini and black mittens, in corner, ear being whispered into by a still-fuming Alyssa.

6. Nina Agdal vs Katrina Bowden

Nina strutting confidently to the stands, white body-hugging swimsuit and flowery, pink robe over her shoulders. Katrina already seated at table, pink and white-striped bikini wrapped around by a towel.

“Yes, of course it’s nice to be winning again,” Nina replies, delighted at question. “And I’m not going to let a washed up, ditzy actress like Bowden break my streak.”

Katrina rolls her eyes. “If Nina’s referring (again) to my character on 30 Rock, she’s in for a rude awakening. As Anne Hathaway found out, this ‘ditzy’ girl can pack a punch... and look good in a bikini while doing so.”

Nina rolling her eyes as Katrina stands, does a little twirl on the spot, letting towel fall off her shoulders to show off her toned body.

Both fighters giving each other look of disgust as they staredown middle of stage. Nina places fist squarely on belly, which seems to piss Bowden off - blonde shoves hand away roughly and officials intervene before scuffle breaks out proper.

7. Luisana Lopilato vs Carrie Prejean

Luisana, some have publicly questioned your choice of opponents. How would you respond to the allegation that you're choosing ‘soft and easy targets?’

Luisana prepared for the question in advance, turns to face reporter directly. “Firstly, I would not consider my opponent today *looks over at Carrie* ‘soft and easy’.”

Carrie smiles back, slightly grateful.

“Secondly, if you are referring to what Pia Miller said on the forums recently, I have a similar message for her: ‘Ven y tómalo, suave y fácil (Come and get it, soft and easy.)’”

Carrie, what about you? Why fight Luisana?

“Well…” Carrie hesitates. “Can I say first that I don't like being ignored.” The blonde turns to the Argentinian across the table. “Before you go about planning your next fight, you’ll have to get pass me first.”

Luisana smiles back, slightly apologetic. She playfully whispers back into the mic: “Well, come and get it, soft and easy.”

Respectful fight poses from both blondes, but Luisana clearly at a height disadvantage of 5’7 compared to the bigger blonde’s 5’9. Still, makes for a tantalising scene - Luisana raising fist to base of Carrie’s chin, already showing intention of knocking the blonde out. Carrie retaliates with rapidly-fading smile, hooks a right glove that kisses Luisana's left cheek.

8. Hannah Ferguson vs Hope Dworaczyk

The main event of the evening sees a Welterweight bout between big blonde vs big brunette. Hannah on recent winning streak, 'coincidentally' all against brunettes. Asked if that's coincidence or intention, she gives a short laugh and gestures at Hope, “Well, I feel a temptation to beat her face in quite badly. Maybe brunettes are my lucky charm... I always win.”

Hope snorts from across the table. “The feeling is mutual, Hannah, only this time, I’m gonna be nothing but bad news for you and your jugs." She smirks and gestures with a finger. "Maybe they'll be my lucky charm."

Both girls not so much chesting but flattening each other’s jugs - bodies lean into one another, hands on hips and mouths just trading barbs. Both ladies almost equal in height and weight, but Hannah’s double-D’s slightly outflanking Hope’s pair of Cs as the referee pulls them apart before it gets (even more?) physical.
