Joo Minhee versus Peyton Roi List

BEFORE: We have the somewhat recently debuting young blonde Peyton Roi List versus the also recently debuted Korean girl Joo Minhee, who's been scoring some wins for herself. Both encountered Alesha Dixon recently: the young blonde falling to her due to her inexperience. Despite being mostly friendly, Minhee seems a little condescending in her pre-fight interview.

"She's a child," Minhee starts, "in both age and experience in the ring. I'm not dismissing her entirely, but she doesn't have me quaking in fear. I mean, I practically DESTROYED Alesha. Peyton had her as her first match, got really nervous, and lost. Which makes sense, and no matter how washed up and weak Alesha really is, you can't fight anyone and expect to win with a total lack of prior fights. The best way you can get better at boxing is through experience: and I'll give her Peyton an experience she'll never forget!" She finishes that statement by playfully tapping her gloves together.

"My fight with Alesha was a good experience, even though I lost." Peyton says, confident in her ability. "Yeah, I'm young, but I can't be that much of a pushover! I think I've got a good chance of winning tonight. Minhee over there will really be surprised when she sees how strong I really am after training!"

ROUND 1: Both fighters seem energetic: Peyton having shaken off that nervousness from her earlier fight actually starts taking the lead before Minhee does. The Korean looks impressed at the speed of List, her guard being pelted with jabs that are fast yet sloppy. Minhee gets an opening during a second of vulnerability on the blonde's end, snapping her fist right into Peyton's jaw. Minhee punishes, going for body shots, but Peyton wakes back up and finds herself on the offensive! The two trade quick punches, and Minhee wins the duel with sheer power as a hook makes Peyton start backing off. Finding herself stuck with an impending Minhee, Peyton ducks low and goes for a right-handed stomach uppercut! Minhee caught off guard, and so's the audience! Peyton takes her time, gladly laying it on her opponent in order to prove herself a real competitor! Minhee tries to fight back at the end of the round, but Peyton keeps control with quick hits after placing herself at a perfect range. Minhee is once again peppered with multiple shots as the bell rings. Peyton takes this one in a fancy showing for a somewhat new competitor!

ROUND 2: Both girls come back out from their corners same as before, at an even pace, meeting each other from eye to eye. Minhee aiming for the head, carefully placing her shots, but Peyton's actively moving and staying unhurt. The Korean girl finds herself chasing Peyton, but Peyton is careful, steps back and TAKES A BIG SHOT AT MINHEE'S JAW! No one was expecting her to have strength like that! The blonde moves in, battering Minhee and striking the popstar with a wonderful rhythm! Minhee attempting to fight back, but she keeps missing the mark as the agile Peyton dances around her! Minhee gets that guard up, her gloves still being wailed on by Peyton. Her back touches the corner, and she's looking trapped, and just one moment later ANOTHER BIG HIT TO THE JAW! The ref steps in to check on Minhee, letting Peyton strut and bounce away with confidence at her dominance! Minhee claims that she's fine, and so the battle continues as the two try to regain their footing; Peyton tries her same aggression before, only to get shut down with a stomach punch followed by jabs to the face and chest. Peyton wants an opening badly, but just can't find one as another failed strike lets Minhee deliver right hooks and a straight. The round ends as Minhee prepares to deal some more damage, looking a little miffed that she couldn't catch up to the younger Peyton in terms of points. The blonde takes another by a landslide!

ROUND 3: Peyton coming in with confidence, gearing up to dominate Minhee once more--too bad Minhee isn't having it! Peyton wants to get close, but Minhee just pounds her with that right glove, catching the pretty young blonde by surprise. Peyton still trying to be aggressive, but speed doesn't help when you're up against a powerful and experienced FCBA fighter! Minhee is ready to return the favor, and Peyton's just too overconfident to learn her lesson as she gets smacked around like Minhee's personal punching bag! The blonde girl gets her gloves up, but the popstar with two shots to the ribs and a HUGE left punch to the stomach! Goes right through those defenses! Peyton looking scared, wanting a way out, but Minhee's jabs are too fierce for her to find another opening! Minhee is just giving no quarter this round! Peyton getting crashed into violently with hooks, landing light jabs FINALLY on Minhee's chest, but Minhee's just landing more important hits! Peyton will NEVER catch up with weak and light punches when Minhee's walloping her! Poor gal just can't catch a break, and Minhee continues to control until the bell finally calls for the round to end. Minhee shakes hips for the crowd to see, calling out in Korean "Round 2 meant nothing, little girl!" and winks at her. Minhee struts back to her corner, smiling all the while.

ROUND 4: The two come out, Peyton seemingly nervous all over again as she refuses to attack Minhee. Minhee gladly makes the first move, jutting forward with a left straight and a right hook to start things off! Peyton's blonde head bouncing from left to right as Minhee continues with jabs, finally getting her guard up just in time and retreating. Both stare each other down, circling each other: NOW Peyton makes the first move: a right to the stomach! But Minhee bounces away, and comes back in with a swift and punishing left. Peyton getting bruised up as she tries to find any sort of even ground...she goes in for a feint punch, but gets PUNISHED with an uppercut! The poor newbie just can't do anything! Minhee rushes in to go for powerful body blows, making the American actress moan and start to lower her gloves, weakly trying to find off her opponent. She keeps getting overwhelmed, and that fear isn't helping, either! Minhee forces her into the ropes, and Roi List is now sandwiched between this force of nature and the ring! Minhee starts again--but Peyton with a WILD haymaker! Maybe this fight isn't over yet! She sends Minhee away from her, finally getting the chance to breath! She throws jabs into Minhee's chest, digs into the breadbox with her left; it's looking good now! Minhee forced to come to center ring, bobbing and weaving around Peyton in an attempt to search for another opening; she gets that guard up! She blocks Peyton's next set of punches, Peyton comes in with another, and gets PARRIED and PUNISHED! The Korean's right crashes into the blonde once more, and she gets hit with bullet like speed, finished off with a huge punch to the stomach that sends her coughing and crumpling onto the floor in pain. Minhee walks away, hands high in the air, which stirs up a chant as the ref counts out the blonde. Peyton stirs only a little bit, and simply can't get up as the ref shouts 10; it's over, folks! KO4 Joo Minhee!

AFTER: Minhee gladly celebrates her victory, posing for the cameras and smiling brightly...and picks up her fallen blonde enemy. Uh oh, what's she planning?

"You're still a child." Minhee says, as firmly as she did before.

"I-I know..." Peyton said, still dizzy.

"But I think you can become a better fighter if someone gives you a chance. Someone like...well, me! Or the Sisters in Arms in general."

Minhee strokes the girl's hair like a mother, leaving her propped up against the ring ropes. Peyton's a bit too dizzy to understand, but I think she just got an offer to join the Sisters in Arms or train under them! That's big news, but why her specifically? Guess we'll find out in the near future!
