ALEXIS REN VS LAURA VANDERVOORT
Writing; Archer Results: Lookout
Alexis: 20 YO, 5’8 (1.74 m), 3-0-0 since 2016, The Vixens
Laura: 32 YO, 5’7 (1.70 m), 32-30-1 since 2007, Foxfire Boxing
Before: “I don’t think Laura is the ‘Bully of the Beach’ she would like everyone to think she is” Alexis Ren informs the prefight gathering of reporters and fans. “ I have been on plenty of beaches this summer and hardly anyone talks about her anymore. I mean ‘Beach Pounce’ was a fun cable show, but they haven’t a new season in years and nobody watches the reruns except to laugh at the out-of-style fashions. You know, that’s just the right term for Laura V: ‘out of style’. I’m the new style and so are the rest of the Vixens. We’re taking on stables like Foxfire to show we’re not afraid of them and that we’re the future—they are the past. That’s tough, but so is celebrity boxing. If you can’t win than you should get out of the way to make rooms for those who can. In the meantime, I can’t wait to strip off your granny panties.”
Laura Vandervoort gives Alexis Ren a look of contempt as she takes her turn at the podium: “I very much regret my lack of activity this year. As everyone knows I lost my one fight to Daisy Ridley—a true CELEBRITY boxer. I don’t where exactly Alexis Ren and the rest of her Vixen posse comes from. I guess they are all models, but really, she should be grateful I even agreed to this fight. And stop talking about taking my panties—you’ll be losing yours to me! Be grateful it will be among panties belonging to better fighters than you’ll ever be!”
Now it is Alexis flashing angry looks: “I cannot wait to strip the panties off your conceited buns and then I’ll give you a spanking like you should gotten years ago. You are going to be SO sorry you dissed me and the Vixens!”
“Just you go and try it,” hissed Laura, “and you’ll come away with the biggest black and blue shiner in the history of the FCBA!”
Alexis and Laura are clad in jeans and t-shirts bearing the logos of their respective team. Alexis comes rocketing off her chair and yanks Laura’s jeans down far enough to reveal a purple thong! Laura gives Alexis an elbow in the tummy to bend her over and then reached down the back of her jeans to emerge with a black thong that she has turned into a wedgie! Alexis howls with fury as she tries to escape the wedgie. Then out of from opposite ends of the stage of rushing Lily Collins, Alyssa Lynch and Kyra Santoro for the Vixens, and Hayden Panettiere, Adelaide Kane, and Willa Holland. There is a wild fight and exciting confused fight in which members of the two teams make each other’s acquaintance amid slaps, hair pulling and the rending of clothes. In fact, all of them have been reduced to bras and panties by the time FCBA Security top separate the factions who are dragged apart amid shouted curses and threats of dire punishments for the outrage.
(One clear moment in the fracas was Lily Collins in impressive dark green undies wrapped in a joint bearhug with Hayden Panettiere in red lace undies, the two flyweights trying to crush each other—then getting tangled in the curtains backing the stage and disappearing from sight with a crash. Rumors say they had the misfortune to land in a dumpster full of rather moist, odorous garbage and both required extensive showering to lose the strong smell they picked up. Both said to blame the other for this misfortune which was the subject of much FCBA social media hilarity including an infamous “Who do you think stank more? Lily or Hayden?” poll that was running very close at the time it was taken down).
On the night of the fight, the Security precautions are strong as security officers keep a close watch over the Vixen and Foxfire seats which are on opposite sides of the ring. Laura marching to the ring in black satiny bra and briefs. Black gloves and her hair in fierce battle braid. Alexis Ren in bright blue bra and panties with matching gloves and a ponytail with a blue bow on top.
“Nice panties, they’ll look good in my collection,” Alexis taunts.
“Maybe I can auction yours off on E-bay. I might get a $1.50 for them,” Laura sneers right back.
“That will be enough of that!” Referee orders and the two fighters quiet down. However evil looks and jostling does continue during ring instructions. Referee skips the glove tap and sends the two fighters to their corners. Bell swiftly sounds.
R1: Laura V moves quickly to show her dominance by firing long range rights and lefts at Alexis as she dances around the rookie. Alexis struggling to get her bearings takes some solid shots, but gradually she starts moving her upper body and becomes a more elusive target. Laura then shifts to moving closer and striking at head and body in an effort to confuse the rookie. Alexis having trouble with this, but finally gets a good jab going. Laura finds herself getting her head knocked back and then struck to the chest with that increasingly strong jab. Laura feeling those jabs to the face, shifts her feet and tries to come at Alexis from different directions. Alexis getting banged up afresh, but remains determined in her countering. Laura wins the opening stanza, but the rookie Alexis Ren has made it closer than expected. Laura frowning as she walks back to her corner. Alexis looking resolute as she heads for her stool.
R2: Laura trying to change tactics by trying a hit and run approach. She’ll dart in, strike ay body or head, and then scoot away. Alexis adapts very quickly to this tactic and disrupts Laura’s timing with some quick moves forward before the Foxfire boxer can be launch. Laura quickly finds the momentum of the fight swinging against her and she is getting badly lumped up to the face as the round ticks on. Laura looking more a little bewildered to find herself on the defensive and it takes time until she gets an effective jab of her own going. It provers too little too late in this round and Alexis Ren takes the round wide.
R3: Laura shows determination as she comes out in this round and immediately starts sending powerful hooks into Alexis’ torso. Alexis struck hard to belly, ribs and breasts seems to lose energy in her own counters. Laura seeking to extend her domination by steering Alexis towards the ropes, but Alexis proves quick on her feet and keeps eluding these efforts. Alexis now retreating, but keeping to the middle of the ring to avoid being trapped on the ropes. Laura steady in her pursuit. She’s landing plenty of punches but they aren’t decisive hits and Alexis able to make it to the bell reasonably intact, though she loses the round wide.
R4: The Vixen trainer appear to have ordered Alexis to take the offensive. Alexis obliges by letting Laura come in and the sidestepping to lob in some overhand rights and lefts to the head. Laura caught by surprise, flounders away on shaking legs, but Alexis not quite quick enough in pursuit. Laura able to recover and try to counterattack, but Alexis, now bobbing and weaving impressively catches Laura’s chin with a quick overhand right. Laura staggered again, but Alexis again can’t cut off the ring before Laura recovers. However Laura’s strictly defensive now and she does keep Alexis at bay to the bell, but Alexis has taken the round wide in an unexpected comeback.
R5: Laura seeks to regain control of the fight, but quickly finds Alexis is not about to let her do it. They circle and try to drive quick punches into openings. Then they both surge together and it turns into hard-punching battle at very close rang. Alexis leaning in, trying to use her one inch height advantage, but Laura lifting her punches up into Alexis’s chest and ribs. Very intense action has them looking right into each other’s eyes as they bring home the body punches. Each blow landed can be felt by the fighter who made it. Crowd is loving the battle as either fighter is willing to back off and they battle right down to the bell. Judges call it a DRAW. Fighters on their stools looking grimly eager to get back at it.
R6: Get back at it they do, as Laura and Alexis are at it toe to toe with their sweaty, bruised faces nearly touching as they lean to get greater leverage on the punching. Just hard, grinding action that actually grows harder and more intense as the minutes tick by. Juggs are really getting struck hard from the underside late in the round and groans can be heard following the wet leather smacks, but neither fighter backs off. In fact, they don’t seem to hear the bell and the referee has to jump in to push them apart. Fighters stare blankly at each other as if wondering why the other is still standing, then they turn away and slowly go back to their corners. No one is surprised when this second round in a row is judged a DRAW.
R7: Fighters looked more winded in on their stools during the break before this round and both corner crews worked hard to repair the damage. It also becomes evident that Alexis has been advised not to resume the battle of attrition. Stead she goes back to the more mobile, circle, strike, and retreat tactics. Laura seems slow to react to this and Alexis then moves on her with a flurry of punches that come slamming into Laura’s body from all directions. Laura seen to be struggling to protect her body, but then Alexis strikes to the head and face with an explosive punching flurry. Laura gets struck hard to the left eye and she falls back in obvious distress. Then a right-left to the chin seems to freeze her and then in comes the finishing right uppercut. Laura’s head jerks back in a spray of blood and sweat, then her knees crumble and she pitches forward to land on her face with her black satin bottom pointing skyward. Alexis pumps her right gloved fist and skips off to the neutral corner. Laura ‘s body topples over onto one side and she stretches out on her back, arms at her side, her head moving, but she’s not hearing the count. It goes to “..TEN!” and it is over!
THE WINNER: ALEXIS REN KO7
After: “I guess Laura thought this might happen,” a gleefully Alexis Ren tells the press as she holds up Laura’s black satin briefs, “and that’s why she had those white bikini panties on under this! With me they would have happen to slip in that ‘Swan Lake’ tape I’ve heard about! Of course, that’s my secret to wining—I knew how embarrassing it would be for me to lose! Seriously, that was one tough fight and one tough fighter in Laura V. She may be a lot older but she can pack a punch. Luckily so could I. So don’t you worry about your briefs, Laura, I’ll take good care of them and you can visit them any time you want!”
Laura Vandervoort was in a pensive mood when she spoke to the press. A big shiner was forming around her left eye and she applied an ice bag to as she talked briefly with the press.
“She was a lot more fighter than I was bargaining for. She did have more power and skills than I was expecting, but I think it was more than I was not at my best for this fight. You can’t fight once or twice a year and still be effective. Things are going to be a lot different in the year ahead—I can promise that to everyone.”
Fight must be considered an upset as the rookie Alexis knocked out an established veteran. Certainly Laura’s lack of action this year was a major factor, but Alexis Ren had the power and skills in only her 4th fight to get the win. That must be considered impressive and should get her tested by some of the better fighters at bantam-lightweight. Meanwhile, Laura Vandervoort plainly has a lot of work to do to get back at peak fighting ability. It just goes to show how risky it is to rest of your reputation instead of building it with more successful fights.
