BEFORE: Tamsin Egerton remains bitterly disappointed she was eliminated from the Welterweight Title Tournament back in May and apparently wants to vent out her frustration against Australian opposition. She smashed veteran Sophie Falkiner into a pulp already and now vows to "shake the rust off Ricki-Lee Coulter with her gloves" tonight.

Indeed the main concern regarding the Aussie singer is her ring fitness following a lenghty spell on the sidelines. Coulter couldn't make it past the opening round against both Nicola McLean and Delta Goodrem which forced her in a two-year hideout but she's ready to give it another try against the blonde actress despite several voices of reason telling her otherwise. However at 5'11" she's got enough physical tools to compete at a serviceable level and another KO1 disaster would be a genuine upset regardless of Egerton's disrespectful pre-fight comments.

Ricki-Lee Coulter wears a red bikini set and black gloves. Long dark brown hair with blonde trim straight. Tamsin Egerton wears a black bikini set and silver gloves. Long blonde hair in loose waves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.

Round 1:
Egerton tees off with a jabbing combo aimed at the brunette's head and finds quick connection with Coulter's guard struggling to embrace the English heat. The home crowd anticipates a swift response from their favorite but Ricki needs to finds her balance first and she's unable to do that under a stream of Tamsin's punches that snap her head back & forth and reel her into the ropes half way through the round. The rush shaking off proccess is very much a dominant theme for the remainder of the round as Coulter is too stagnant on her feet to even make a difference let alone challenge for success; she gets clubbed up the middle one strike after another and if only Egerton switched her targets, she could have really hurt her rival inside the opener already. However some of her late shots bounce off the high guard and basically let Ricki-Lee off the hook.

Round 2:
Tamsin keeps hassling the brunette around the ring but Ricki moves into a steady overhand response and actually digs some single shots into the blonde's face for a while. Egerton adjusts her stance and swings around the temples yet she fails to connect with her target and allows the local girl to whack some juice on the boobs before clinching her into a somehwat unexpected stalemate. Both women struggle for supremacy and Ricki-Lee bumps the actress into the ropes where she scythes her across the navel and finds a quick uppercut on the jaw that makes the MCG audience roar in delight. Tamsin struggles to stretch her elbows while getting pressed to the turnbuckle and is forced to apply another blatant clinch which earns her a lenghty jeering walk-off at the bell.

Round 3:
Wildetime coach Tania Zaetta urges the singer to keep the aggressive mindset alive and Ricki-Lee comes storming out of her stool but Tamsin has the burst covered and weaves around on her feet while settling in the desired mid range. She throws several single hands just to see if Coulter becomes wary of the threat but apparently the Aussie rustiness belongs to the past and the MCG roars in delight when the brunette smacks the English visitor across the lips and digs another hook on the breasts. Egerton needs to move a little quicker now but another clubbing hook nails her on the jaw and reels towards the ropes where the singer cleans out the midsection and dumps the blonde behind a desperate earmuff to complete her rally. A late clinch doesn't change the tune of this round and the Wildetime corner is beaming in joy at the bell but there's still a long way to go here.

Rounds 4 & 5:
Play-by-play commentator Sarah Cumming credits Tania Zaetta's determination in re-building Ricki's hitherto dwindling stock and the Wildetime duo have more reasons to celebrate during the next couple of rounds as the brunette finds herself in comfortable mid distance slugfest with the actress who in turn becomes more and more annoyed over the seemingly slipping away advantage. Tamsin lands a couple of solid hooks each time she soaks up a triple combo and nurses a visible lump under the right eye come half-distance while Coulter secures another midsection rally to keep the blonde at bay most of the time as well. Ricki's alleged below par resistance is nowhere to be seen but Sarah Cumming notices how few clean shots Egerton landed over the past six minutes and the Melbourne crowd simply lifts the singer above the odds and adds to the Wildetime's confidence.

Round 6:
Tamsin blasts an early cross on the jaw but eats a similar one on the wounded eye and groans in pain while soaking up more hits to the body; Ricki-Lee drives in forward and nearly headbutts her opponent but then rips a left cross on the brow ridge and wobbles the blonde into a quick uppercut follow up that shuts Egerton's eyes and drops her arms just perfectly for a sizzling right hand that bursts the nostrils leaking blood on the spot. TAMSIN IS HURT! She sways on her legs to the left and tries to apply a much-needed clinch only for the brunette to scream out and deliver another crushing hook on the temple THAT SPINS TAMSIN MID-AIR and sends her tumbling face down on the canvas! The Cricket Ground explodes in joy and the vicious hit leaves Egerton aching her heart out as she battles to beat the otherwise quick count. She's up on all fours at five and sits down on her heels at eight but it's just not good enough... she mounts a last-ditch effort at ten however the ref grabs her as soon as she indeed gets up and tells her it's all over! Ugh! Sarah Cummings thinks the count could have been delayed if the fight was held in the UK but it isn't so the Wildetime crew secures the upset! KO6 Ricki-Lee Coulter!!!

AFTER: Tamsin argues with the referee for a while before just shaking her head and doesn't even notice the blood stream coming from her nose. She intends to crash the Wildetime party and demands a rematch with the brunette as quickly as possible but gets ignored by the celebrating Aussies and has to leave the ring to receive medical attention. The home crowd can fully expect a clean sweep on the Melbourne card now as Coulter was always the bettin g outsider of the three girls involved and she truly produced the upset result that Sarah Cumming calls a "career-saver". On the other hand, Andrea McLean's and Denise Lewis' decision to cut ties with Egerton last year doesn't seem so premature anymore and the loss to Nicola McLean at the Welterweight Title tournament maybe indicates that the Portsmouth actress needs to improve before she gets called "elite" again. This being said, she only turns 28 in a fortnight's time and has plenty of time on her side to prove her naysayers wrong!

Final result: Ricki-Lee Coulter def. Tamsin Egerton KO6.
