BEFORE:

"Look," says Brenda with the hint of a smile. "I like Kat. I really do. But, the fact is, we've already fought and you saw what happened. Tonight won't be any different. She's good. No question. I'm just better."

"Last time," says Kat shaking her head. "I had my chances. Well. This time, I'll get them again. And, this time, I'll make no mistake."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Wanna Say', and that means that the singer of said song, 'The Liberian Lynx', Kat Graham, is on her way to the ring!"

Cassie: "Kat, of course, coming out first because Brenda gets the honors tonight, having beating Graham the first time they fought."

McCarthy: "And, she'll beat her again, too. As much as I hate to pick your running buddy, Scabbo, even SHE is better than the danciest of Weirdo's Dancing Hookers!"

Tess: "Danciest???"

Cassie: "Just because Brenda's going to be in the ring, Mac, that doesn't mean something might not...happen. I have access to this facility 24/7. ANYthing might happen...if someone isn't careful."

McCarthy: "Are you THREATENING me???"

Cassie: "Ask Michelle Williams how much she loves lemon pudding. Not, of course, that I had anything to DO with that..."

O'Dell (sighing): "Graham into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that yellow number we've become familiar with. And, that's Hungarian Rhapsody#2 by Liszt, and here comes the Bazz Fight Club's own Brenda Song!"

Tess: "Brenda hasn't fought a lot this year, but she's a veteran fighter in her prime, a girl with a lot of impressive scalps. Tisdale. Kreuk. Bell. Hudgens. Williams. Panettiere..."

McCarthy: "And, as I recall, she also beat SCABBO here..."

O'Dell: "Song into the ring, helped off with the robe and..."

McCarthy: "AHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

O'Dell: "She nails Mac with a balloon filled with pudding!"

Tess: "Wow! That's quite an arm she has! From the opposite corner and a direct hit to the face!"

Cassie: "I WARNED you..."

McCarthy: "You little...I'll SUE! I'll SUE!"

Tess: "Is that pumpkin spice, BFF?"

Cassie: "'Tis the season..."

O'Dell: "Truck, send a towel down here so Mac can clean up..."

McCarthy: "There's pudding up my nose!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Song wearing that black number we've seen before, and we're ready for some picks. Tess and Mac both on the record as picking Brenda..."

McCarthy: "I changed my mind! I'm picking the Danciest Dancing Hooker!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Cassie..."

Cassie: "Of course, I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "And, here we go. Graham going to move early, which is exactly what we saw early the last time these two met. Brenda patient. Hands high, looking to cut the ring some, get into position to either work angles or counter-punch, at which Song is an absolute master. Right now, though, Graham not giving her any opportunities..."

McCarthy: "As you mentioned, Jenny, Graham started the last fight this way, and if she'd KEPT fighting this way, she'd have won. However, she changed tactics and it cost her the fight. We'll see if she's learned anything."

O'Dell: "Song continuing to work angles, but Graham just not there right now. She's all OVER this ring, bouncin' and misbehavin', snapping out jabs, dancing, reversing, giving a little shimmy that gets the crowd going, then circling away from Brenda, all behind that quick, piston jab. She's not landing a lot of them, but she is scoring with some..."

Cassie: "Brenda not at all happy with that little dance move. Kat might want to watch herself."

O'Dell: "Coming down the stretch in round one. Song now finding the range. Stepping to and getting off. Kat flurrying back, and that's allowing Brenda to counter. Song getting the better of the exchanges. Graham circling away, but Brenda right back into position, another sharp exchange and Song scoring there again. And, there's the bell. Very close, but I think Brenda grabbed it late."

Tess: "And, Song takes the early 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Into the second and more movement from Graham. Kat another little shimmy, dances away as Brenda sets to punch. Song not taking bait here. Too smart for that. She keeps the guard high, keeps working the feet, angles forward and GETS NAILED WITH A RIGHT HAND! A cobra-strike right from Kat and Brenda's hurt!"

Tess: "That's as quick a right hand lead as I've ever seen by someone not sitting at this table next to me!"

O'Dell: "And now Graham getting busy and in a hurry. Barrages of punches flying at a wobbly Brenda. Song backing and covering, countering in spots, but she's taking a LOAD of leather right now. Graham working her slowly to the ropes, pins her there, goes to work. A little body being dug by Kat now..."

Cassie: "Brenda's going to let her have all of that she wants. You aren't going to beat a Bazz girl to the body."

O'Dell: "Twenty seconds to go in the round. Graham trying to finish this thing. Brenda rolling with, keeping the guard high, landing the odd counter, but she's taking a beating. Referee looking in. Ten seconds to go. NICE flurry from Graham that shook Brenda again. But, there's the bell. Song survives. Graham takes it wide."

McCarthy: "19-19 after two, but if the Danciest Dancing Hooker has learned ANYthing, she's got this girl where she wants her."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third begins with Kat coming forward looking to consolidate. Nice counter-punching by Brenda, though. Graham firing right back and a NASTY right hand from Song ROCKS GRAHAM'S WORLD! Kat wobbled and now Brenda onto the offensive! This thing has just turned on a dime on yet another great counter-punch from Brenda Song..."

McCarthy: "Aaaaannnnd, the Dancing Hooker has learned NOTHING. No surprise..."

O'Dell: "Song just so accurate with everything. She's picking shaky Graham's defenses apart. Every small crack, she's filling with leather. Kat being backed up, touched up. Doesn't have the legs for movement at the moment, and that's making her an easy target for the Bazz beauty. Brenda working head and body, scoring everywhere..."

Cassie: "This is vintage Brenda Song. Not many fighters more dangerous when they have you in trouble."

O'Dell: "Just an absolutely clinical deconstruction going on right now. Graham trying to cover up, counter back, but Song totally dominant. Referee not going to watch a lot more of this. Brenda getting some serious fire on target. Kat clinching now, and I'm not sure I've ever seen that. Song working body, then back upstairs. HARD right from Brenda, but there's the bell. Shutout, Song in the third."

Tess: "Wow. What a turnaround. Brenda back in the lead 29-28, but, obviously, she has a bigger advantage than one point on the cards right now."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Song right back on the attack in the fourth. Graham giving ground. She's got some leg back, but just some. No dancing now. She's moving a bit, making Brenda's job a little harder, but Song able to get punches off in bunches, land some hard shot. Kat jabbing back, looking to slow Song down, but Brenda not going to be slowed..."

Cassie: "Brenda's setting her up right now. No question. She's looking for something big."

O'Dell: "Another nice flurry from Song. Backs Kat up a step and DOWN GOES GRAHAM! Another counter punch. Kat snapped off a jab and Brenda DROPPED her with a right hand counter! Song to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Graham to hands and knees. Eight. Nine. Kat to her feet. She beats it, but not by much."

Tess: "And, maybe not for long, either. Like Cassie said, there aren't many fighters more dangerous when they have you in trouble."

O'Dell: "Referee gives Kat the mandatory and waives on Brenda. Song right to work. body, then head. Kat keeping the guard up, backed to the ropes where she's taking heavy fire. Song really working over Graham's body right now, trying to bring the guard down. Kat hanging on. Clinching again. GOOD right from Brenda shook Graham, but there's the bell! Kat survives it, but, again, for how long?"

McCarthy: "39-36, Song. But, Graham isn't going to make the cards."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Fifth underway and Song looking to finish. Graham backing and covering. Still looking shaky after those last two rounds. Brenda just stalking slowly, carefully, looking for the finisher now. Good flurry from Song backed Graham up again. Kat trying to firm up the defenses now, land some counters..."

McCarthy: "You know, we've seen all of Weirdo's flys tonight, and three of them have already won. And, here's this girl blowing it again. We're coming to the end of the year, the time when Weirdo traditionally sends girls out the door. Do the math."

O'Dell: "Brenda a nice combination and a RIGHT HAND AGAIN FROM GRAHAM! That's that right hand lead we saw in the second and Song is HURT. And this thing turns again that quickly. Kat all OVER Brenda, backing her up with hard flurries. Brenda wobbly, unable to hold canvas. Kat still a little shaky herself..."

Tess: "No matter how this turns out, this has already been a heck of a fight..."

O'Dell: "Graham going to TOWN now! She's got Song about ready to go it looks like! Referee watching very closely. Brenda hanging on desperately. She's pinned to the ropes. Graham going body again, thumping shot to the ribs and midsection. Kat back upstairs and a hard right hook shakes Brenda. Song jabbing back. playing for time, going to run out the clock. There's the bell. Graham, wide. What a fight!"

Cassie: "Brenda still up 48-46 with five to go."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Sixth begins with Kat on her toes! Graham dancing around pot-shotting at a flat-footed Brenda. Song keeping the guard high. Still a little unsteady. Kat circling, jabbing, landing some nice stuff while Song plays defense and looks to counter. Graham reversing, stops, pops, reverses again and ROCKS BRENDA WITH THAT RIGHT HAND LEAD!"

Tess: "That thing just comes out of NOWHERE..."

O'Dell: "Song GOBSMACKED and Graham now going all in! Kat determined to finish this thing and right now. Brenda again backing and covering, keeping the guard high. She's countering here and there, but mostly taking some serious fire. Again, Song backed to the ropes and Kat going to town..."

Cassie: "But, watch closely, and you'll see how many of those punches Brenda's taking on her guard, how many she's rolling with. Kat's scoring, but not as much as she'd like to."

O'Dell: "Good point, Cassie, but Graham IS scoring, and she's landing some sharp stuff in there. We're into the final 30 seconds and again Brenda hanging on. She's leaning back into the ropes, moving the head and shoulders, keeping the earmuff tight. Ten seconds left. And, once again, Song will run out the clock. Shutout, Graham in the sixth."

McCarthy: "57-56, Song, but Scerbo's little running buddy is blowing it!"

ROUND SEVEN:

O'Dell: "Graham right to the offensive as we begin round seven. Kat very busy. Song playing defense, looking to counter, trying to get some time for those legs to come back. Graham not going to give it to her. Kat's keeping up a heavy fire that continues to back up Song and pile up points. Graham in control now, ladies."

Cassie: "But, with Brenda still ahead on the cards, all she needs is, like you said, a little time."

O'Dell: "Song starting to firm up the defenses as the round goes along. Still not moving all that well, but she's holding ground as Kat flurries again and again. Nice right hand from Brenda and DOWN GOES SONG! Right hand lead again and Brenda dropped to a sitting position and pounding the canvas in frustration!"

Tess: "I'm going to say this again...that thing comes out of NOWHERE..."

O'Dell: "Graham to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Brenda to her feet at seven. Referee gives her the mandatory and waives Kat forward. Graham going all in now. She's winging away with both hands. Song being backed up. She's keeping the guard high but still taking heavy fire. Referee going to keep a close eye on this, but Brenda again able to roll with a pick off a lot of this stuff. She's rope bound in the final seconds, but Graham again going to be frustrated. There's the bell. Song survives yet again."

McCarthy: "But, now it's Graham ahead 66-65, her first lead of the fight."

ROUND EIGHT:

O'Dell: "Into the eighth round of what's been an action-packed contest. Graham back to the offensive. She's dancing and circling now, popping out that jab, taking advantage of the fact that Song's on wobbly legs at the moment. A little surprised she's not pushing hard for the finish, but, she does have the lead..."

McCarthy: "She OUGHT to be pushing for the finish, but, if she can bank this round, she's up two with two to go, she can maybe win this thing with her legs."

O'Dell: "That might be the thought, because she's definitely winning this round that way. Circling, stopping, popping, then right back on her bicycle. Of course, this is giving Song some time and breathing room to get some leg back under her, and it looks as if that's happening. Brenda moving better as the round goes on..."

Cassie: "She's stepping up, cutting the ring, getting her offense going now."

O'Dell: "Indeed, she is. Good flurry from Song as we head into the final minute. Graham dances away. Brenda steps forward and EATS THE RIGHT HAND LEAD AND DOWN GOES SONG AGAIN! Brenda blown to her back by that right hand. Kat to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Five..."

Cassie: "Come on, Brenda. Get up..."

O'Dell: "Seven. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's over! Song can't beat the count and it's over! And your winner by KO8 is 'The Liberian Lynx', Kat Graham!"

Tess: "I'll say this again. What a fight!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Kat Graham, and, Kat, that was some kind of fight..."

Kat (nodding): "Knew it would be. She's a heck of a fighter, beaten most of the best girls in the division. You're going to have to go through hell to beat her. And, that's just what I did."

Tess: "That right hand lead..."

Kat: "I thought I could get that. Coming in, I thought I could catch her with it. Didn't know it would be the key to the fight. Turned out that it was."

Tess: "I think a lot of people have been waiting for a big breakthrough for you. I think we just saw it..."

Kat: "You did. I'm the best flyweight at Front Street. You heard that right. The best. I'm championship caliber. And, now, everyone knows it. Give me that mic so I can drop it!"
