BEFORE: Jennifer Carpenter wants to shake off the label of the forgotten woman of the lightweight division but life is never easy when you spend your career among the free agency deadbeats. A risky swing at a rivalry versus Odette Yustman brought the 'Limitless' lead cast a brief spell of good fotune last year but it's back to the basics here in 2016 again with fellow indie performer Brooke Burns also trying to make a living out of a rare PPV opportunity.

Jennifer Carpenter wears a black one-piece swimsuit and red gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Brooke Burns wears a vintage yellow Baywatch swimsuit and black gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Early rust visible from both ends as the sleepwalking tempo of the opening minute indicates this one could drag along for a while but Burns finally shows some mean intentions in what could be her last opportunity to shine ever on this side of the Atlantic. She loops several promising hooks upstairs and takes advantage of Carpenter's below par mobility at first however several pundits believe the brunette is simply waiting for the right moment to pounce against an otherwise lacklustre opponent. After all, beating Josie Maran isn't anything to be extremely proud of and Brooke's resume fails to provide other true highlights. She keeps peppering the brunette's high guard though and nearly pounds her back to the ropes before Jennifer riffles a quick one-two on the mouth to signal she remains alive in this contest yet. She doesn't really impress anyone, the former Baywatch beach bunny least of all.

Round 2:
Carpenter's funereal demanour vanishes in the second and Burns lives to regret it as she gets clobbered to the body from the onset and quickly yields real estate. The brunette remains one of the most overlooked floaters in the division but being a TV star probably limits her stock regardless of the 'Limitless' opportunity. That's a lousy pun by anyone's standards but Jenny girl is anything but lousy here as she overwhelms the blonde's guard down the stretch and traps her on the ropes thanks to a steady aerial attack. Brooke's lack of punching resistance has crippled her prospects over the years but she's lucky enough Carpenter doesn't land a huge strike to the alleged glass jaw, otherwise things would have turned awry for the Texas babe in a hurry.

Round 3:
Going full frontal on Burns hasn't hurt anyone not named Josie Maran over the years and Jennifer is quick to wrap the older actress in another jabbing frenzy while shielding from a scattered single-hand response herself. Burns refuses to yield the real estate for a while but not before a clubbing hook wrenches her on the liver area and allows the brunette to punish some gut for a good measure. Brooke begins to groan in pain while soaking up more leather juice and gets trapped on the ropes again as Carpenter channels more venom and dissects her to the body late in the going. These two free agents couldn't be separated any further and even Burns' clinching efforts can't tame the dark-haired barrage. The blonde babe slumps on the ropes looking all out of shape and at this stage even the much-maligned Carrie Prejean would be best placed to blow her away with a single punch.

Round 4:
Brooke tries to make it competitive but she only avoids quitting on her stool and that wins her no friends among the blood-thirsty pundits gathered in the arena. Jennifer likewise shows her no mercy and intends to chop her in half with some vicious striking to the body that dumps the former Baywatch babe into a world of pain. The ruthless brunette just hauls in one punch after another and the blonde's gut soon turns into jelly as Brooke slumps against her tormentor's shoulder and begs for mercy. Again, none is shown but the ref is slow to react and he basically allows Burns to be chopped down into a smoking heap with Jennifer blasting vicious leather on the liver until the aching blonde simply can't take it anymore. SHE GOES DOWN HUGGING HER TUMMY and rolls into embrional position as the victorious girl plants her foot on the fallen's hip. KO4 Jennifer Carpenter!!!

AFTER: The final result perhaps shouldn't come as a real surprise but the way Jennifer made quick work of her struggling opponent indicates she's got some fire left in that Kentucky tank. Meaningless TV career or not, Carpenter remains one of the hottest free agency prospects in the 130 lbs division and might yet turn a head or two next year again. The only problems remains with too few people being ready to ring her number around the league. And winning a fight in such an impressive fashion can potentially lure the managers away since most indies are first and foremost supposed to serve as mere cannon fodder.
