(Girls Friday vs Foxfire Boxing)

Intro:
Its time for Hilary Rhoda and Mandy Moore to get it on to see which one of these two can get into the top 10 of the BWO rankings.

The 29 year old Hilary comes into the fight undefeated after 4 fights and has won all those bouts by knockout to put her into the top 20 fighters in the Welterweight division.

On the other side, the 32 year old Mandy comes into this fight with a record of 26 wins in 62 bouts and has 17 knockouts, she's also a 3 time welterweight champion in the FCBA.

This is a major fight in the revitalized division as a win for either will make major statement, for Hilary that she belongs in the top and Mandy wants to stop the new fighters jumping over her. At the press conference, the two big girls met face to face and the tension was palpable as the girls are on edge, they are ushered to their tables before a moments sparks something off between the two.

Hilary is asked to speak first and she says "I am overwhelmed, I mean I started my career only a few months ago and now I am fighting a legend and unlike Miss Ferguson, I will not be trying to steal
anyone's clothes"

Mandy doesn't look enthralled by the joke but Hilary doesn't really care as she continues "psychologically I need this win to prove that I belong to the upper class of this division and I will be coming to take your head off Mandy"

Mandy shakes her head and stands up to say her bit "what is it with these new girls? They all make these statements, I didn't do that in my early part of my career, I just went out and kicked ass" Continuing her speech, she adds "you can joke about my humiliation of Ferguson but you won't be getting a chance to humiliate me after I put you down to bed early"

The fighters both walk up to each other and mouth insults, security comes near but Mandy tells the guards to stay back as she tells Hilary "just wait till we fight, see if you are as quick to step up to me
again in future"

Hilary just stays silent but continues to stare her down as security finally does get between the two and leads them off stage.

Fight night, Hilary comes out with Lauren Berlingeri and Eva Carneiro by her sides, the crowd is cheering for the beauty as she struts down to the ring. She is wearing a grey sports bra, matching shorts, boots and silver gloves to complete her look.

Entering the ring, Hilary bows to each side of the ring and smiles to her fan base before heading to her corner and turns to see Mandy's entrance. Moore arrives at the top of the ramp with Virgina Madsen by her side, the crowd show their love for her as they always do.

As she walks purposely down to the ring, she is wearing a dark green sports bra and matching shorts with eagles wings on either leg as a tribute to her favourite NFL team the Philadelphia Eagles, who are not doing great this year, evidently she wants to perk them up with her own performance.

She finishes her look off with matching green shoes and gloves, her hair is tied into a ponytail as she claims into the ring and ignores Hilary to warm up in her corner. Both fighters are told to come to the ring center, the girls stare hard at each other but seem calmer then they were last time they saw each other, the fight is more important then any ill will. Asked to touch gloves,  they bang their gloves together to test each others strength and have to admit that the other certainly has some power.

Returning to their corners, the referee signals for the bell to begin 10 rounds of welterweight boxing action.

Round 1:
Off we go, both girls come out flicking their jabs out to test the waters, both are hitting the guard of the other, as they circle each other. Neither throws caution to the wind yet as they work around each other,
throwing their right hand into the gaps that the other leaves. The first minute is a pretty slow affair, as they respect each other too much it seems but the crowd are urging them to fight harder. Both seem to take the hint as they start trading with more punches now, Hilary lands a good right cross to Mandy's face. She gets caught by Mandy though with a straight through her guard to give Hilary an idea of the power she's going to feel all night as her head rocks back. Neither girl can force the issue this round though, both are getting caught with punches around their guards as they are trying to force each other back. The crowd are getting more into this fight as the girls fight around the ring, banging away at the others body, their eyes meet through their guards and it's clear they are getting annoyed. The 10 second signal is rung and the girls just throw hard leather at each other with wild shots to try and win this round.
The bell rings and both stand tall while looking hard at each other with questioning eyes, what's it going to take for either to take advantage runs through their heads, before they return to their corners. Their coaches seem as dumbfounded, other then to tell them to increase their workrate.

Round 2:
The girls come out looking to score a big punch, the first exchange of punches is even again as they knock each others heads back with a range of punches. Mandy puts her head down and lands sweeping body shots to Hilary, pressing her back for the first time in this fight. She parries some returning punches and it looks like the experienced fighter has stepped up a gear first as she unloads a double jab to help with her pressing attack. But Hilary isn't going backwards without a fight, slamming her own
combo of a Jab/right hook to the head of Mandy. Both girls trade on the inside with shots that seemed to be aimed just below the others jugs, some stray shots do find jugs to the delight of JMD fans. But Mandy shoves Hilary with her left arm, then uses a straight to shove her opponent back onto her heels as she works her punches up and down. Hilary covering up as best she can, while Mandy picks her punches, not wasting energy with barrages, when she is able to land single hard punches around the guard Back comes Rhoda late in the round as her back touches the ropes, she slings hooks to the head of the redhead, who retreats to the ring center to get her feet fully under her. With just over 10 seconds to go this time, it's hammer and tong stuff between the two, Hilary looking the slightly harder puncher as she shoves back Mandy slowly. The bell rings and both girls lift their arms up to stop punching, the
looks from before return, neither girl are able to work out what to exactly do with themselves to hurt their opposition. They almost stomp back to their corners with nostrils flared as they get their faces cleaned up but are mostly reevaluating each other.

Round 3:
This time Hilary comes out the gates the quicker of the two, lashing her punches to the body of Mandy and ducks under a few from the redhead. Mandy is forced onto her back foot now as the brunette flicks out her jab to disrupt her attacks, allowing her to control the early going of this round. The Foxfire girl though is experienced enough not to be rattled as she changes tact, she uses her left hand to dig away at the body of Rhoda, then strikes over the top of her guard when a crack appears in it. The fighters start trading more freely, Mandy trying to rock Hilary back but she is getting hit with more punches then she's dealing out. Hilary now lands to the body of Mandy with a three punch combo, Moore is pressed to the ropes and the two fighters trade hard shots to a loud roar from the crowd. Mandy clinches up with Hilary to slow down her charge, the referee separates the fighters soon enough and Mandy moves off the ropes quickly. This time as Hilary comes forward, Mandy meets her with some quick shots to her guard then works the body as she is trying to wear out the slightly younger fighter.Back and forth go the girls again, around the ring they fight as they pummel each other and clinch near the ropes. The referee separates the fighters and with barely anytime to go, they stand and trade with flurries of punches till the bell rings. Both hold back again but it's clear by the frustration in their faces that they are getting tired of the other not being able to put each other down. Back in their corners, they each tell their coaches their frustrations and ask for advice, which gets the same "just keep pushing forwards" and "increase your tempo" speech that's had them annoyed for the past three rounds.

Round 4:
Coming out of their corners quickly, the girls trade at mid range as they circle each other, the tension in the air is getting thicker with each punch. But Mandy faints with a left hook and slams a right just under the ribs of her opponent to cause her in wince and now the redhead strikes hard. Hilary is forced back under a barrage of punches, able to block a few but most slip through her guard to catch her on her lips. As Hilary nears a corner, she powers forward to clinch up with Mandy, knowing if she gets stuck in a corner, then she's toast. The referee separates the girls quickly and Mandy gets the first good
shot to land in the latest exchange between the fighters. A right hook turns Hilary's head and Mandy powers forward now behind her jab, Hilary now finds herself on a set of ropes and Moore pounds her flanks. Again Hilary clinches up as the girls grunt in an effort to wrestle each other to the ropes, the referee is there again to pull the girls apart. Mandy is keeping the pressure on Hilary as the momentum has finally swung into her favour after three gritty rounds. But late in the round and Hilary rally's, landing a sneaky uppercut to the chin of Mandy to snap her head back, the brunette presses her redhead opponent back now. Mandy makes an effort with not long left to go to see out a great round for her, both girls trade on the inside till the bell and each sneaks a shot after the bell. The referee warns both girls, who put on innocent looks as they say it was a mistake, but as their cold eyes meet, it is clear it wasn't. On their way back to their corners though, it's Mandy who can crack a slight smile as she has broken through the deadlock between the fighters.

Round 5:
Quickly returning to the ring centre to trade, both girls cheeks are reddened from the punishment they've given each other up till this point. Hilary lands a hard lunging right hook to snap Mandy's head to the side and now the redhead is the one being knocked back in this seesaw battle. Mandy tries to fire back but Hilary does her best to parry those shots and replies with pinpoint shots to the face of her opponent. The lips of Mandy seem to favourite target of Hilary, her combos are seem to center around that area as Moore covers up protect herself. Mandy connects with a few good body blows but gets another hard straight to her lips and now blood is trickling from a cut bottom lip. The redhead is grimacing each time her lip is getting caught with a jab or straight, Hilary now is almost smirking as she comes forward. Mandy though isn't just guarding, she is slamming in her own shots to the body of the brunette but hasn't been able to work as hard as Hilary. Late in the round though, she slips past a jab to rifle a straight body shot forwards and both have their heads on the others shoulder as they work the others bodies and sides. Pundits scratch their heads trying to work out whose really on top as again the round is coming to an end and both girls are heading back to a stalemate. At the bell, they shake their heads at each other, not believing this fight is going the way it is, their pride won't let them accept it's
this close. Hilary punches the top turnbuckle in frustration as Lauren tries to calm her down. In the other corner, Mandy silently stews as she shuts her eyes and winces as Virgina cleans up her cut lip for the next round.

Round 6:
Mandy takes a few jabs to her mouth, before ducking under a left hook and landing a few short sharp punches to the ribs of Hilary. Hilary gets hit by a follow up right hook to her cheek to rattle her head and now Mandy pushes Rhoda to the ropes. The crowd look on thinking that this could be the defining moment of the fight as Mandy barrages Hilary's defences. But as she sees that she isn't doing as much damage as she hoped for, she changes up the tempo, using her left to  keep Rhoda on the ropes, while using her right to pound away to the sides. Hilary manages to push forward to clinch up with Mandy as she relieved to get off the ropes, Moore looks pissed at herself that she couldn't keep her there. Separated, Hilary looks in full retreat as she fights on her back foot and Mandy is chasing her down, till Rhoda slams a lunging straight punch right into the bloody lips of the redhead. The crowd move closing in their seats as Mandy's head snaps back and she is heard yelping, as she backtracks. Late in the round and now Hilary pins Mandy to the ropes, not rushing her own punches, mostly using sweeping hooks to hurt the redhead till the bell sounds. Hilary nearly roars her delight at ending a round strongly as she doesn't care that her body is reddened and her cheeks are not too different a shade. Mandy meanwhile leans in the ropes for a moment, looking at the ceiling of the arena and stifling a scream, before returning to her corner and staring at the canvas.

Round 7:
Mandy tries to force back Hilary, Rhoda though is starting to land the cleaner strikes as they exchange in tight. The redhead is fighting back on her heels as Hilary presses forward, using her jab to line up her opponent for her power shots. Mandy lands a hard straight but gets caught over the top with a right
hook that lands flush on the cheek and rocks the redhead. Hilary works Mandy onto the ropes and the two girls trade hard shots but it's clear that the redhead is being pounded and the crowd is shouting for blood. Mandy has to cover up as Hilary works her body, the referee is watching closely and she has to clinch up to protect herself. Hilary presses Mandy on the ropes to show her dominance, the referee
pulls the girls apart and Mandy desperately gets tight to Rhoda to pound her body. The brunette uses her left arm to shove Mandy to show the difference in strength at this stage in the fight and lands a flurry of punches to knock Moore back towards the ropes. Not long till the bell and Mandy is covering up as Hilary tries to end the fight by swinging around her guard and the bell finally rings to save Mandy it seems. Hilary stands and stares hard into the eyes of Mandy, hoping to see defeat but seeing a girl who is desperate to win, the brunette has to admit she admires that drive, but will hope to knock it out of her soon. Returning to their corners, Hilary gets her face washed up, while Mandy has blood running from her lips down onto her jugs.

Round 8:
Off go the fighters, Mandy goes all in early, knowing she's in danger of losing  if she doesn't do anything to stop the rot. Both girls are in tight, brawling as they sneak in shots through guards, shoving each other back to land clean shots. It's not long till Hilary lands a hard left hook, followed by an uppercut that rocks Mandy into the ropes, the redhead covering up. But Hilary rushes forward and pounds Mandy around her guard, Moore's guard is getting knocked around as the brunette hammers away at her. The referee is closing in but Hilary slams a hard right hook to the temple of Mandy and down goes Moore to her side. Hilary rushes to a neutral corner as the referee is counting out Mandy, the redhead is laying on her side eyes blinking quickly as she tries to clear her head, sadly for her fans, Mandy is counted out by the referee and the fight is over!

Winner: Hilary Rhoda KO Round 8

After:
Hilary gets the biggest win of her career and she celebrates by hugging a rushing in the ring Lauren and Eva in a group hug. Virginia rushes in herself to check over Mandy, the ringside doctor comes in to check over the beaten fighter and does his tests and finds she's going to be OK, just dazed at the moment.

Over comes Hilary after getting her gloves taken off and she holds her hands up and jokes "I come in peace" as she winks at Mandy.

Moore isn't really interested in jokes right now, but Hilary seems to cheer her up with her next comment.

"You gave me one hell of a fight babe, it was an honour to fight you and anyone who disrespects you is a bytch" says Hilary as she puts her hand out for Mandy to shake.

Mandy looks up and sees that Hilary isn't just brown nosing her, she truly looks at her with real respect and Mandy shakes her hand in reply.

"I hope you don't expect me to be nice after I beat you next time I see you" says Mandy with a small smile as Hilary smiles back.
"We'll see someday, just don't keep your hopes up" says Hilary as she helps Mandy up and both girls give the other a hard look.

Before hugging each other and wishing each other luck till they next see each other. Mandy leaves the ring to a cheer from her fans, she waves to them to show thanks for their support. In the ring, Hilary does a lap of the ring, pumping her left fist to the crowd as she enjoys a loud cheer, before leaving the ring.
