BEFORE:

"Always great to get into the ring," says Lis with a gorgeous smile. "Especially here in Philly. And, Anna's a lot like me, a physical, cerebral fighter. So, I'm looking forward to getting in there and matching wits...and gloves...with her."

"Lis is one of the sharpest fighters around," says Anna with a nod. "There's no question about that. I like fighting girls like her, because it's always a challenge. And, I'm always up for one of those."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, and that's Wagner's 'Ride of the Valkyrie...'"

Cassie: "ROHM-MY! ROHM-MY! ROHM-MY!"

O'Dell: "And, as Cassie has made clear, that music can only mean that the lovely Elisabeth Rohm of the Bazz Fight Club is on her way to ringside..."

Tess: "As we always mention when Lis is with us at Asylum, she's a big part of the Bazz brain trust and is quite involved with the inner workings of the stable."

Cassie: "No doubt about that. Rohmmy is a key backstage player. But, she can still play in FRONT of the cameras, too!"

O'Dell: "Rohm into the ring and helped off with the robe by the Bazz corner crew. Sea foam green her color of choice as usual..."

Tess: "I like it. A lot better than PINK, which, again, is a WHIMPY color!"

McCarthy: "What do YOU know about fashion, Walmart?"

Cassie: "Says the woman who's most famous for NOT wearing clothes!"

McCarthy: "You LITTLE..."

O'Dell: "Aaaaaannnnnddd, that's 'The Pain and the Passion' by Midnight Oil you hear behind us, and that means that 'The Aussie Enforcer', Anna Torv, is heading down the aisle."

McCarthy: "It's nice to have BOTH of Weirdo's REAL fighters in the house tonight!"

O'Dell: "Anna tapping glove to fist with Mac as usual on the way by. She's into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. Torv wearing the black bikini we've seen so many times before. And, we're about ready to go. Time for picks. Tess likes Anna. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Torv. No question about it."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "You KNOW I'm picking my girl Rohmmy!"

O'Dell: "And, we're underway. Fighters to work at range, no surprise there. These two blondes like to box, and they're both plenty good at it. Little cat and mouse stuff right now, heads bobbing, jabs probing, little peek-a-boo stuff with the gloves from Rohm. Two fighters just looking to get into rhythm now..."

McCarthy: "And, more importantly, keeping the other girl from doing that. Sometimes, you can win a fight just by keeping the other girl off her timing..."

O'Dell: "No question about it, Mac. Get her on the wrong foot, keep her off balance, and she can end up a little slow, a little hesitant, and the next thing you know, you can get rolling. And, both of these girls are good at that mental side of the game, There's probably not a pair of lights in the FCBA who are better at the kind of stuff we're talking about."

Cassie: "Rohmmy's forgotten more about boxing than most fighters will ever know."

O'Dell: "Down the stretch in the first. Fast-moving round. Plenty of action, but not a lot of hard stuff landing. Good defense. Lots of jabs. The odd right hand. And nothing more than that. Ten seconds remaining, and the fighters will jab the remainder of the round away. Not a lot in it, but Torv grabs it close."

Tess: "And, in a fight like this, every round could be important."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Right back to ranged warfare in the second. Torv beginning to get that jab home now, though, forcing Rohm to cover up. Lis firing back in spots, but Anna slowly taking over the lead here, forcing Rohm to the counter. Lis having some success with that, but Anna's getting a lot more done right now..."

McCarthy: "This is what I keep telling everyone about Torv. She's the best lightweight Weirdo has, and he keeps wasting time pushing other girls!"

O'Dell: "I'm not sure about 'best', but she certainly looks VERY good right now. Anna just POPPING that heavy Front Street jab, moving Rohm with it and setting her up for hard right hands. Lis plenty sturdy. She's shipping it all and firing back, but there's no question Torv's getting the better of her right now."

Tess: "Anna can be like a machine when she gets going, and we might well find ourselves in a situation where Lis HAS to find a way to break that rhythm."

O'Dell: "I was thinking the same thing, Tess. And, I'm sure Rohm will work on that, but she's not having any success now. Torv just rolling along as we head down the stretch. Putting together great chains of punches, every punch or feint leading to the next punch or feint. It's pretty to watch...unless you're backing Rohm tonight. There's the bell. And, it's Torv wide in the second."

Cassie: "20-18, Anna. But, it's early yet."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third begins at range, but with a bit of an adjustment by Rohm. Lis going to keep the hands high, use a drop step, circle, box the counter. Torv willing to play this game, working that long, heavy left jab. Rohmmy picking a lot of them off, though, not allowing Anna to set up that right hand..."

Tess: "We knew an adjustment was coming. And, this one's working pretty well at the moment."

O'Dell: "That, it is. Rohm scoring in the counter, while not allowing Torv to get punches put together. That high guard very effective at the moment. Good right hand counter from Lis as she picks off another hard left hand. Torv slowing the pace now, and that's exactly what Rohm was trying to accomplish..."

Cassie: "No doubt about it. Lis changing the terms, and the new ones are working for her."

O'Dell: "Down the stretch we come. Torv popping that left out, but mainly finding glove. Rohm countering, landing another good right hand. Just ten seconds left in a round that could not be more different from the last one. Rohm dropping, circling, another nice right hand counter and there's the bell. Close round, but it's Lis."

McCarthy: "Still 29-28, Torv. And, She'll solve this. Watch and see."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Anna in problem solving mode now. Probing with that left hand Looking to break down Rohm's defense. Lis another good right hand counter. She's got that working now. Anna, meanwhile, still not able to get the left hand on and set up the rights like she did in the first, and, Mac, this is exactly what we talked about..."

McCarthy: "Get the other girl out of rhythm. Keep her off balance. You can win rounds and fights that way."

O'Dell: "And, Rohm's getting rolling herself now. Landing nice combinations in counter. forcing Torv to cover up in spots. This fight has turned around in a big way now, as Lis slowly takes control of this thing, and it's all coming in the counter, as she fouls Anna's sights and scores off Torv's offense."

Cassie: "That's Rohmmy. Every fight a girl from Bazz wins, and we win a LOT of fights, Lis has watched the video and helped with the fight plan. Every single one."

O'Dell: "Final seconds of the fourth and Rohm rolling now. Torv not able to get much home at all, and every attempt is met with a sharp counter. Lis has gotten some really clean right hands home in this round, and it's a testament to the sturdy legs of Torv that Anna's been able to shake those off. There's the bell. And, it's Rohm wide in the fourth."

Tess: "And, we're all even at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "We're getting exactly the close, well-fought bout we expected as we roll into the fifth. Rohm with that high guard, drop step and circle. Torv beginning to double up on the jab now. Double tap after double tap with that hard left. Rohm still picking many of them off, but some are getting through, too..."

McCarthy: "And, that's the point of the adjustment. Doubling her chances to score with the left and then follow with the right hand."

O'Dell: "Rohm still countering well, but we've returned to two-way territory now. Torv scoring enough to keep up with what the older blonde's doing on the counter. Good right hand from Rohm and a good left-right from Torv to follow. Rohm again circling with that drop step. Torv doubles the jab and DROPS ROHM WITH A RIGHT HAND!"

Cassie: "GET UP, ROHMMY!"

O'Dell: "A BOOMING right hand from Torv, caught Lis on the chin and dropped her to her right side. Anna to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Rohm rolls to her belly. Eight. Pushes to hands and knees. Nine. TEN! It's over! Rohm can't beat it. And, your winner by KO5 in one-punch fashion is 'The Aussie Enforcer', Anna Torv!"

Tess: "Just a perfectly-placed punch, Jenny. This fight was dead even, but one shot was all it took to end it."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Anna Torv, and, Anna, that was quite a fight..."

Anna (nodding): "Like I said pre-fight, she's hard to deal with. Very slick. Very smart. You find something that works, it won't work for long, because she'll counter it. I had to think on my feet in there, that's for sure."

Tess: "Talk about the big punch in the fifth."

Anna: "Just landed a really solid left, and it was a struggle to do that. Snapped her head back a little and I brought the right and caught her on the chin behind the gloves. Just timed it right is all."

Tess: "What's next for you?"

Anna: "Well, it's been a good 2016, and I'm looking forward to a great 2017."
