TESS VALMORE

WILKINSON/KYLIE JENNER The fight was even at two and still even at the end of four. Wilkinson won the fourth and added a knee to Jenner’ s groin for good measure. Jenner went back on top by winning the fifth. In the sixth, Jenner started off well and was controlling the fight until late when Wilkinson started scoring. After a flurry of punches, Wilkinson landed a straight right followed by right hook and Jenner went down for the count

LOVATO/SONG Lovato was cruising early winning the first three rounds. Song finally got on the cards in the fourth when she sent Lovato down to the sand. Song then took the fifth. That was her high point. Lovato came back to take the sixth and seventh. In the eighth, Lovato simply used Song for a punching bag. Song finally went down unable to get any further than to her knees as the count passed her by

FERGUSON/H. DAVIS After a first round draw, Ferguson took the second only to have Davis win rounds three and four to take the lead. Davis’ lead didn’t last long as Ferguson went on the offensive in the fifth and bullied and punched her around the ring. Davis had not recovered when the sixth began, however, she was having a good round until a blockbuster plowed into her stomach. Ferguson followed up with a couple more punches to the body and Davis went down hugging her body. The referee didn’t bother to count

GONZALEZ/WOODLEY I had Gonzalez ahead on the cards at the end of four with two rounds won, one lost and I draw. In the fifth, Gonzalez charged out of her corner and trapped Woodley in hers. Woodley couldn’t escape and Gonzalez pounded her into oblivion. Gonzalez KO5

GOMEZ/KEEGAN This was a good fight. It was even at two and even at four. Keegan had Gomez hurt in the fourth, but failed to follow up which she would ultimately regret. Gomez took the fifth. Keegan then, took the sixth and seventh decking Gomez in the sixth. Gomez came back in the eighth to floor Keegan. Gomez followed up in the ninth decking Keegan again This time Keegan stayed down for the count

KRUPA/RATAJKOWSKI Ratajkowski won the first round and Krupa the second. After that it was all Ratajkowski. She used a body attack to send Krupa down in the fourth. Ratajkowski gave Krupa a beating int the fifth, but was unable to put her down again. Krupa was a wreck as she came out for the sixth. It didn’t talk long for Ratajkowski to end it with a right hook to Krupa’s ear

SWANEPOEL/T. ATKINSON Another good fight if a little hard to score, Swanepoel had Atkinson hurt at the end of the fifth. She was unable to follow up in the sixth as Atkinson managed to fight Swanepoel even. In the seventh Swanepoel came out to be the aggressor but ran into a straight right to her face and was undone. Atkinson then just teed off on the blonde until she dropped to the sand not moving

BENSON/LOWNDES The bout was even at the end of four with Benson taking rounds one and four and Lowndes winning rounds two and three. Benson tool the lead in the fifth by putting Lowndes down on the sand. That lead didn’t last long and Lowndes decked Benson in the sixth. In the seventh, an exchange went Lowndes way and she battered Benson into a helpless state and the bout was stopped giving Lowndes a TKO win

AGDAL/PALVIN Agdal had the lead at the end of three winning two of the rounds. That lead would disappear in the fourth as Palvin decked her, but was unable to finish. Agdal took the fifth off just trying to survive and get her legs back. Agdal took the sixth with a blistering body attack. She continued shelling Palvin's body in the seventh until Palvin couldn’t take anymore and went down and the count passed her by

LIMA/LIVELY Lively got off to a good start winning three of the first four rounds. The bout totally changed in the fifth as Lima decked Lively. Lima would floor Lively again in seventh and again in the eighth. Lively managed to get to her feet after the eighth round knockdown but was beaten helpless by Lima and the bout was stopped

G. ATKINSON/UPTON This bout turned out to be for the welterweight title. The first five rounds were active with Atkinson having a slight lead at the half way point, The lead changed to Upton in the sixth as she put Atkinson down. Atkinson survived and came back to put Upton on her knees in the eighth, but Upton was able to finish the round. In the ninth, Atkinson unleashed a vicious body attack that sent Upton down again and this time Upton didn’t beat the count. Atkinson is the new welter champ

STRAHOVSKI/WINSTEAD The best rivalry going in the FCBA today. Winstead got off to a good start taking the first two rounds. Yvonne then took the next three to take the lead. Winstead evened up the bout by taking round six, but Strahovski regained the lead in round seven. Early in the eighth Winstead dropped Strahovski. Yvonne wasn’t hurt too badly and immediately got back into the fight Late in the round a body assault sent Winstead down. she managed to get to her feet only to be on the receiving end of more punishment than she could handle and she went down the final time for the ten count. Strahovski has just won two bouts in two days. Shades of the GOAT. The great Theron won fights on successive days a number of times and in fact won two fights in one day. Theron and Strahovski “win two bouts in two days club” and they are both blondes I’m not going to research the subject any further

DADDARIO/REFAELI The final fight of the night was a good one. The way I saw it was an active fight with close rounds, but I had Refaeli winning three of the first four rounds. Daddario evened the bout taking rounds five and six. The sixth was a real brawl and I thought Refaeli got the best of it. Daddario would win the ninth, but was far behind and needed a knockout in the tenth to win. Not only did she not get the knockout, she didn’t win the round and the decision went to Refaeli
