Marnie Simpson vs Nadine Coyle

BEFORE: Lioness Club's Nadine Coyle arrives in Newcastle full of confidence allthough BBU TV's Georgie Thompson warns her about taking a win over local favorite Marnie Simpson for granted tonight. Nadine's punchbag career seems to be a distant memory but Marnie defeated former champion Emily Atack on her debut back in June and the entire Geordie Shore crew thrives on the lack of respect shown by their fellow peers. Nadine is no exception and vows to rearrange Marnie's face in front of her home crowd yet the reality TV starlet has the backing of Chloe Ferry and Charlotte Crosby in her corner and the Geordie entourage steals the pre-fight introductions leaving the former Girls Aloud singer extremely bemused: "All glitter but no gold, ye ugly bytches!", she dismisses Marnie's entrance party and even Georgie Thompson wants this one to get underway as soon as possible as she's simply seen enough of the twerking: "These girls will never become MBEs but that's not what we came here for!"

Marnie Simpson wears a lacy black basque top, matching knickers and white gloves. Long black hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Nadine Coyle wears a yellow sports bra, orange hotpants and black gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Nadine uses her experience and slightly superior range to control the fellow brunette in the center of the ring and Marnie keeps her focus despite the local crowd urging her to step it up from the word go. That's not gonna happen though and Nadine scores several looping overhands to make the Geordie Shore gals cry out in frustration on the sidelines already. Marnie tries to move into close range down the line but struggles to embrace the persistent assault from the Irish singer and Coyle gets a little vocal herself when she notches a couple of big hooks on the mouth that stall Simpson's progress alltogether in the final minute. A swift delivery on the ribcage wobbles the younger brunette into a lenghty clinch but Nadine stays on top and whacks her foe across the tummy to sign off a very promising round.

Round 2:
Marnie jumps into trigger-happy approach and that first round composure is out of the window already; at least Chloe and Charlotte are smiling now as their colleague snaps the singer's head back with a spirited drive and dumps her on the heels much to the crowd's delight. Nadine loops several hooks from the back foot but lacks precision this time and only bounces off the top of the fellow brunette's forehead before getting pounded back to the ropes when Marnie nearly headbutts her and bulldozes extra leather on the chest. Coyle fails to stretch her elbows and relies on a clinching effort to stall Simpson's antics however a ribcage blast caves her in the corner come the final minute where the Geordie brunette has a field day punching that fine Irish tummy. At the bell the ref has to haul the rampant girl off her prey and both vixens give each other a lenghty stare before turning back to their respective corners.

Round 3:
Lioness coach Mel B. reminds Nads that she has to stay mobile on her feet and away from the close range trouble however those long limbs don't move fast enough for Marnie to drop her aggressive approach. The Newcastle crowd really has something to cheer about in the third as Coyle loses her balance after a swift hook to the liver area and quickly sags on the ropes with Marnie wrecking more body assault havoc thereafter. This is a phone booth-like boxing here but Simpson shoves the singer deep into the ropes and keeps her trapped for an extended period of time while plugging along the waist line and flirting with some low shots. Nadine aches her pain out but just can't tame the onslaught and drifts towards the turnbuckle; she gets caught with a quick headbutt yet this was truly accidental as Marnie finds her groove and seems poised to chop the Irish girl in half. She finally moves upstairs late in the going when Nadine's winces increase a notch but she fails to add more punishment and bounces off the high guard. All in all, she did more than enough to assume control of this fight and Coyle just shakes her head in disgust at the bell while inspecting the damage to her body.

Round 4:
Coyle moves really slow after taking all that beef in the previous round and Simpson flies in with more cruel punches to catch her off guard over the top. Nadine anticipated another body assault but dropped her gloves too low for Marnie not to take advantage and a swift double hooking combo rips through her mouth and sends her trembling back to the ropes. Ugh! Coyle's eyes open really wide as she catches a glimpse of Marnie's mitts and all hell breaks loose in the corner with the Geordie lass piling vicious leather straight into the singer's pretty face! "F### her up now!", Charlotte Crosby leads the local support from Marnie's corner and the Irish party comes crashing down just past the minute mark when the relentless head hunting attack renders Coyle on jelly legs. She wobbles forward with eyes closed and another loud whimper just so that Simpson can brutally nail her with a hook on the jaw! NADINE'S KNEES GIVE WAY and she tumbles down on the boards, her long legs shooting up sky high and that's a nasty one right there! The Newcastle crowd is over the moon but Marnie plays down the home run prospects as she teases the fallen singer to get up: "I'm not done with you yet, cow!" Nadine can barely fend off the knockout daze but the ref allows her to recover via a slowish eight count - apparently he wants to see more Geordie carnage here tonight as well! Nadine sags on the ropes even after the command and lacks the spark neccessary to somehow embrace the looming leather assault... however Marnie takes her time and digs deep into the bruised Irish midsection almost toying with the aching foe here. She keeps Coyle woefully ineffective during the final minute and carves pink patches all over the ribcage; poor Nads is out of breath at the bell and basically a walking punchbag... Georgie Thompson reckons she's fortunate enough to have escaped some broke ribs in there but coach Mel B. is ready to throw in the towel.

Round 5:
Lioness Club's policy prevents coach Brown from releasing her banged up vixex from additional misery and Simpson drops the cat & mouse games as she hammers in a vicious overhand assault to dismantle Nadine's guard inside the opening minute of the fifth before swiftly digging deep into her guts again. Nadine just collapses forward and wraps her arms around Marnie's shoulders but she can do little about the Geordie Shore starlet blasting her way through to utmost success. "Yeah, punch her guts out!", Charlotte Crosby clearly tries to add some grudge spice to this bout but Marnie needs no advice at this stage anymore as she keeps pounding through Coyle's breadbasket until the aching singer bursts into tears and gives up the ghost. Even the most devoted Geordie fans lose count of how many shots Marnie drilled into the Irish midriff but it's simple too much for Nadine who SLIDES DOWN ON HER KNEES in the middle of that epic frenzy and quickly rolls into embrional position having been thoroughly worked over by a supreme opponent. Forget the count, it's a vicious KO5 Marnie Simpson!!!

AFTER: You just can't keep the Geordie crew down at this moment and Marnie takes extra pleasure gloating over the fallen singer: "How about that, bytch? You're sooooooo frickin' done here!" Chloe Ferry and Charlotte Crosby quickly make their way to the ring and try to drag the battered Nadine by her ankles however coach Mel B. invades the Geordie party and shoves Ferry away before swinging at Crosby to spin her back to the ropes with a loud slap that found the cheek. Marnie turns back at the former Spice Girl and shouts more insults but Mel establishes some authority in the ring and tells her to be quiet or challenge Cheryl Cole in a Lioness revenge mission! "Arrghh... we don't need that cheap slut around here!". Suddenly a discussion breaks out just who's the Geordie's flyweight finest and even Charlotte Crosby wants to get involved despite officially hoovering over 110 lbs.

While all this is going on in the middle of the ring, Georgie Thompson admits she's lost interest in the Geordie pride sweepstakes and wishes someone would simply stretch the fallen Nadine away. The poor thing almost gets trampled over by Crosby who's into Mel's face and well, for a moment we're back to reality TV stuff here and BBU TV has to hit the commercial button.

When the coverage resumes Nadine and Mel B. are no longer to be seen while Marnie, Chloe and Charlotte are blowing kisses to the crowd and promise to broadcast live footage from the locker room during the upcoming minutes. Yeah, that includes the shower part too... That's too much for Georgie in the booth as she ponders why all these Geordies can't be more like Jade Thirlwall, a true northern rose among all the weeds. Cheryl Cole's tenure at the Mr. Marcus Invitational was personally driven by Samia Ghadie but the Geordie Shore crew gives the word "tawdry" a whole new meaning. And yes, it sells a ton of tickets too! Just stay tuned for more...
