(Girls Friday vs Bronzed Oz Boxing)

Intro:
This bout feels a long time coming, Taryn Terrell and Nicky Whelan have been on a crash course since last September, as egos boiled over during the Poppy Drayton vs Zoe Ventoura fight, between the two coaches, not the fighters.
Originally this grudge match was to take place in October, but Taryn would go to America to fight it out with Jennifer Nigri and Jenna Louise Coleman.
Then she would stay to fight in America the rest of the year, meaning this fight was held back, making Nicky claim in interviews "Taryn is hiding from me, the bytch should come here and fight me as she said she would"
Taryn after telling her management team that she wanted to fight Nicky now, told the press "Nicky was lucky I had bigger dogs in the yard to beat, but like the little bytch at that hides behind the big dogs, she's barked her mouth off, now I show why I own that yard"

Flying to Australia two weeks ago, Taryn was told that she had to take Lauren Berlingeri, the two had a fallen out a few months back, but had been professional in their manner with each other, helping train the Girls Friday fighters together.
But a long flight with the two next to each other would be hell, so imagine two weeks together, rumours of shouting matches in the hotel they were staying was spread amongst the Australian national papers.
But Taryn claimed "they are fake news srories, me and Lauren are not best pals but I respect and trust her to back up me against Whelan"
At the weigh in, it became chaotic, both girls showing their flawless bodies in bikinis, Nicky in a blue Australian flag style patterned bikini, flexing her muscles to a loud and loving fanbase.
But Taryn equally as toned in her black bikini, Nicky and her exchanging insults as each took their turns getting weighed.
An announcer shouted their stats out "Nicky Whelan, age 35, height 5'6 1/4, weight 115lbs" Nicky posing on the scales.
Then as Taryn got on the scales "Taryn Terrell, age 31, height: 5'6, weight: 118lbs" the proud wrestler flexing her arms to the crowd and getting a mixed response.
A crack rings out in the room, Nicky slapping Taryn to the delight of her fans base and then shoving Taryn onto her bum.
Nicky celebrating her sneak attack too early, Taryn tackling her down with a double leg take down that would make Kurt Angle proud.
The girls get into a vicious slap fight, long blonde hair being knocked around, cheeks with hand prints on and the girls rolling around the stage, till security can finally get between the hellcats without worry of getting hurt themselves.
But that doesn't last long, as both fighters somehow escape the guards arms and with a splat of toned bodies, they clash together and go do to the ground in a catball.
Several more security guards rush on stage to drag both girls apart, organisers warning both girls that any more fighting and the boxing bout is off, which makes both girls look at each other and think "is it worth it to brawl now?" Evidently thinking not, they are led off the stage to boos from the crowd of people wanting to see more fighting.

Fight night in the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney Australia, out comes Taryn Terrell first, she enters the fight with a record of 9 wins, all by knockout and 6 losses in her overall career.
The crowd certainly isn't on her side, though Lauren Berlingeri is, both wearing gold, but while Lauren has a gold top with Taryn "golden girl" Terrell on her shirt, Taryn is wearing her now traditional gold coloured sports bra, work out shorts, shoes and gloves to the ring.
As she enters the ring, she doesn't bother with the crowd, no point wasting her time on people who dislike her, instead she heads to her corner for her prefight ritual.
Out comes Nicky to the top of the entrance way, her record stands at 1 win by knockout and 3 losses, so not great, but as she has her manager Sonia Kruger in her corner, she looks calm and collected.
Coming down to the ring, Nicky is wearing a navy blue sports bra, workout shorts, shoes and gloves, Sonia is telling her "make this bytch pay!"
Entering the ring, she doesn't look over at Taryn, instead going through her own routine, this fight meaning so much to both girls, proving which of these two is the better woman.
Asked to come to the ring centre, the girls go nose to nose straight away, no words being exchanged, just nasty looks, neither girl blinking as they stare each other down during the referees final instructions.
When told to touch gloves, Nicky and Taryn instead simply walk back to their corners, the time for talking, wrestling, all the other crap is done in both girls minds, this is going to be purely 10 rounds of bantamweight war in both girls minds, as the bell "dings" to start the fight.

Round 1:
Out come the girls, both athletic, up on their toes as they snake out their jabs, Nicky dancing her way out of a charge from Taryn, the girls fighting around the ring.
Taryn again makes a lunging attempt with her right hand and gets caught with a two punch combo to her cheeks by Nicky, who steps back out the way of a counter shot from the American.
The wrestler looks annoyed as she starts trying to force the pace, not letting Nicky get too far away, but getting caught with the faster hands of the Aussie.
Nicky smirking as she lands a digging straight to the abs of Taryn, then ducks a left hook from Terrell, before sneaking a jab up top.
As you know, don't poke the bear and when Taryn does catch Nicky, she shoves her to the ropes and starts digging away to the body of Nicky, who is covering up as best she can, but is being hit to her flanks.
Nicky finds her way off the ropes, staying on her bike, her smile gone as she clearly didn't like the power of Taryn.
The girls trading single punches up top, Taryn still trying to walk down Nicky, but Whelan uses some nifty footwork, stepping to the side of Taryn when the younger blonde moves in to strike.
Late in the round, Taryn manages to catch Nicky with a right hook up top and the two girls trade the last 30 seconds in tight, working each other to the body and sneaking shots up top.
The bell rings with each girl just about holding back from continuing fighting, just glaring at each other, as the referee has to nudge both girls to return to their corners.
Neither is too banged up, but the feelings of hate between the two women is not damped by any margin, glaring unblinkingly at each other across the ring, till the bell rings for the next round.

Round 2:
Nicky keeps her pace up, dancing around Taryn, stamping her authority on the round early with her jab, snapping her right hand through the guard of her fellow blonde.
Taryn is visibly looking annoyed, trying to land a meaningful strike, getting glancing blows on her rival, Nicky landing the cleaner shots during their exchanges.
Half way through the round, Taryn finally makes her charge, landing a pounding right hook to the ribs of Nicky.
The Aussie groans and the crowd seem to groan along with her as Taryn head down, works the body of Nicky while forcing her backwards.
Nicky shoves Taryn off balance so she can escape off the ropes, moving back to the ring centre so she can try and regain control.
Taryn back at her as the girls trade in tight, the American is starting to eat away at the defences Nicky, the actress covering up and is being pressed near a corner.
Nicky escapes in time before her back hits the turnbuckles and lands a double jab that knocks Taryn's head sideways.
The Aussie shoves Taryn into the corner now and starts hammering away at the guard, Taryn covering up and the referee edges closer to see what is happening.
Taryn clinches up and the girls wrestle against the ropes, shoving each other around, the referee struggling to pull the girls apart.
As they finally separate, Taryn lands a straight to the abs of Nicky, then an uppercut to rattle her, the round coming to an end as Taryn pounds Nicky back to the ropes on the other side of the ring.
The bell rings to end this round with Taryn giving Nicky a push to her jugs, before heading back to her corner, while Nicky looks ready to tackle her from behind, instead deciding not to waste her energy and heading to her corner.
Once again both girls glare at each other across the ring, Taryn stands up out of her stool, a favourite trick of hers in the mind game stakes to prove she's perfectly fine to continue.

Round 3:
Off they go again, Nicky still up on her toes, but Taryn starting to catch her opponent now with heavier shots, clearly the body work is starting to take effect and the Aussie crowd is looking worried.
Especially as Taryn catches Nicky with a right cross as the native fighter lunges in to land a straight, Whelan's head is turned around and the next moment, she finds herself been driven back under a barrage of punches.
Her back hits the ropes and first Nicky covers up, but as the referee edges closer to get a better look, Nicky starts firing back and we get an old fashioned slugfest.
Both girls just pounding each others cheeks, a flurry to the body of Nicky though has her clinch up to protect herself from further punishment.
As the referee separates the girls, Nicky looks to be covering the left side of her body more, clearly hurting there the most, Taryn is like a shark driving through the water for it's prey.
The American lands a stiff straight to the nose of Nicky to knock her head back and lands two more cracking body shots to force Whelan back even further.
Nicky just not able to halt the assault, landing some hard shots of her own, but as soon as her body is worked on, she can't stay in close too long.
Late in the round, Taryn spitefully lands a right across the jugs of Nicky, getting a low whine from her opponent, the referee gives Taryn a small warning to keep the shots to body or the head, Taryn telling the referee "I thought that was her gut, are those breasts?" Making Nicky blush red.
The bell rings with Taryn smirking, till Nicky shoves her in the back and the referee has to step in to stop the girls continuing this round.
Finally back in their corners, Nicky is breathing hard, ring rust and shots to her ribs and body are starting to take their toll already, the high pace she set earlier in the fight isn't helping either and as Taryn stays standing once more, Nicky looks visibly pissed off.

Round 4:
Taryn looks slightly surprised as Nicky bowls out of her corner and gets right into her face, the girls in tight, working each other over in a hard exchange.
Nicky lands two hard uppercuts and it looks like Taryn is in trouble as she retreats, the Girls Friday trainer rocked back.
But as Nicky goes for a right hook, Taryn just about gets her head out of the way and catches the unbalanced Nicky to her stomach with a thunderous right punch.
Down goes Nicky! The Aussie falls to her knees, holding her stomach as her face becomes a mask of pain, as Taryn jogs to a neutral corner.
The referee begins his count, as Nicky opens her left eye up, her right still shut as the pain makes it hard for her to focus.
At 9 she makes it up with a slight wobble, telling the referee she's fit enough to continue, he doesn't look so sure but he gives her one more chance to fight.
But as the fighters start exchanging, it's not long till Taryn drives Nicky to the ropes and clearly holds her up with her left forearm, while her right rifles itself to the stomach of Nicky, driving more air from her lungs.
The referee warning Taryn about the left, Nicky slumped into the ropes and he decides to wave the fight off, Whelan clearly not in a state to continue.

Winner: Taryn Terrell TKO Round 4

After:
Taryn looks more upset by the referee stepping in than Nicky does, clearly she wanted to punish her rival coach, but the referee clearly could see she couldn't defend herself as the ropes hold Nicky up.
Sonia quickly gets into the ring to help out her fighter, helping her to her stool as Taryn stares hard at both Aussie girls.
The crowd is mostly silent, clearly not enjoying one of their own being pounded as badly by a girl like Taryn.
Nicky is catching her breath, sobbing lightly and feeling embarrassed that she lost to Taryn after all the work she put in the gym for this fight.
But her night gets worse, Sonia is shoved out the way by Taryn and as Nicky begs Taryn "please just leave me alone", the victor clearly not listening as she grabs Nicky by her hair and drags her off the stool to her knees.
Loud boos ring out in the arena, clearly upset by the actions of Taryn as she tells Nicky in a menacing tone " you better crawl bytch around here or round 2 between us will be worse for you, trust me on that"
Nicky sobbing more now, gets to her hands and knees and crawls around the ring, Sonia staring at this and wanting to get her own hands on Taryn.
After she sees Taryn kick Nicky up her bum, saying "quicken up bytch! You're embarrassing yourself" Sonia has seen enough.

The manager comes over a lays her hands on Taryn to a loud roar from the crowd, pulling Taryn down to the canvas from behind, the big Aussie slaps the fighter and the referee and Lauren struggle to get her off Taryn, whose mostly stunned that Sonia would actually start something with her.
Sonia is finally dragged off Terrell and security rushes in to stop any more problems between the girls happening.

Clearly this is far from over as the girls in the ring are led out by security, Taryn steaming as she felt wronged by Sonia, stealing her prize away.
Both Girls Friday girls need to rush over to America though for the FCBA PPV, so no revenge yet, but pundits wonder what Melanie Sykes is exactly thinking about this in America herself, most likely watching it play out live on TV.
