The tension between The Pretty Little Punchers and The Wannabees had been growing since their first mini-stable war back in August. The Punchers had won that contests 2 fights to 1, but a post fight brawl then broke out with the PLP getting the worst of it, This led to the vengeful Punchers tracking down The Wannabees and their allies on a tropical resort and launching a raid in which the W’s and their friends suffered an embarrassing defeat. (Especially embarrassing because video of the fray mysteriously appeared on social media, though it eas never actually tracked back to the PLP). Finally, there was a catfight on the beach between Janel Parrish of the PLP and Sammi Hanratty of The Wannabees. The result of this was challenge to a lingerie boxing bout on the beach with the winner getting the losers lingerie as a trophies. Somewhat to Janel and Sammi’s surprise Danielle Campbell of the PLP and Zoey Deutch of the W’s included themselves into planned seeking to continue their own rivalry which was tied at 1 victory a piece.

There is reason to believe this might have been a simple private mini-card, but word spread through the world of beach fighting promoters. One of these promoters presented the fighters with a very lucrative offer. The fights would take place on a Caribbean private resort island with a VIP’s able to watch in person and a closed circuit PPV set-up to the international market. Once the fights were completed videos would be made available to the general public on a PPV basis. The agreement did provide for a third fight in the event the winners of the first two fights were from different stables. This fight would come one month later. In addition the FCBA would sanction the bout (as long as the lingerie removal was “discreetly done”, that is, no nudity on camera) and it would be included in the fighters Official Records).

The location was a beautiful Caribbean island that functioned as a vacation spot for the rich and celebrated. A beach ring had been set up with an semi-circle of comfortable, shaded seats for those who would watch live.

The four fighters were flown to the islands with their support crew and trainers. Nia Peeples was there to handle the Punchers training, Autumn Reeser, the PLP Communications Director was on hand to handle non-boxing details and relations with the promoters. The Wannabees were led by their head trainer Shannen Doherty and included Stella Hudgens, Sammi Hanratty’s best friend. (That Sarah Hyland was not part of the group was taken by some as evidence that Sarah believed Sammi wanted her replaced in the group by Stella, though this was not discussed in public).

By this time the now famous (or infamous, depending on which stable you supported) PLP raid of The Wannabee and friends vacation hideaway had occurred. It was known that The Wannabees and their allies wanted revenge. While a large-scale brawl might have been a sure-fire ratings booster, the owners of the exclusive resort wanted no part of it. The two teams were forced to sign “no unauthorized fighting” agreements and, just be safe, the teams were restricted in how many members they could bring. (Stella Hudgens made the trip as Sammi Hanratty’s “personal assistant” something that drew a protest from the PLP. Stella was obliged to keep her distance from the ring and to avoid contact with any Punchers. Stella and Sammi seemed to find this hilarious. So Stella took to wearing a tee shirt with the logo BEWARE! BIG BAD STELLA IS HERE! PLP START RUNNING!. Needless to say the Punchers were not amused, but found they could do nothing about it—tee shirts were no covered in the agreement!)

The first fight selected was Sammi Hanratty of the Wannabees vs Janel Parrish of the PLP. To avoid pre-fight “encounters”, the fighters were interviewed separately.

“I whipped Janel Parish’s big ass the last time and I want to do it again!” Sammi declared. “ Last time I pulled down her top to expose her totally pathetic boobies. This will be so much better! I will pound her into the sand and make her admit I’m SO much the better fighter! Plus now I’ll be able to look at our trophy wall and savor the pleasure of knowing how humiliated she was when I peeled her undies off her! Good times are coming!”

Janel was clearly thinking vengeance in her interview: “I just hate that little twerp! I am not ashamed of my boobies! But her pulling down my top was something she did just because she’s a nasty person at heart. I’ve gotten some revenge thanks to our little ‘visit’ to the W’s tropical lair, but I intend to show her that you never mess with Janel Parish without paying the price! Now I’ll be able to claim her bra and panties. I am so looking forward to seeing the strickern look on her face when that happens!”

Tents had been erected at opposite ends of the ring to serve as dressing rooms for the two teams. (There were additional tents for the medical staff, refreshments, and the judges). At the appointed hour on a sunny day wear the cool sea breeze took the edge off the hot tropical sun, the two opponents marched out to their sandy battle ring.
Sammi was in a black bra and bikini panties with white lace edging with white gloves and black lacings. Her hair had been wetted down so that it looked she had emerged from the sea to do battle. Janel was in a white bra and briefs with black gloves and white laces. She, too, had gone for the “wet from the sea” hair look. Both bodies glistened with sun screen (a new special formula developed for beach boxing which greatly reduced the amount of sand that might stick in the event of a knockdown) and they stared daggers at each other during the introductions. The introductions were marred only by the two fighters engaging in a chest bumping test of strength before the referee restored order. Soon enough they were in their corners and waiting the bell. It rang.

R1: Janel and Sammi showed themselves to be sure-footed on the sand as they charged each other and started swinging. It was swing-duck-swing-dodge-swing as the two worked to set their feet to add power to their punching. Janel doing a nice job of quick swipes to Sammi’s chin while also smacking her stomach. Sammi trying jab back but finding Janel a moving target who was hard to hit. Janel now moves closer and tries to push Sammi back to the ropes. Lots of close in action as Sammi tries to slip away. Janel gets impatient and some shoving ensues bringing referee in. Janel going right back at Sammi whose jab is getting stronger and striking Janel’s head and chest with frequency, but Janel keeps pressing. Close-in battle goes down to the bell and Janel takes the round.

R2: Battle continues in close, but there is more movement around the sand. Again both are showing experience in dealing with beach boxing’s special ring factor. Sammi getting the range more often this time and she is giving Janel’s tummy a lot of pounding, Sammi may be small but she can move her arms like high speed pistons and Janel is grimacing even as she knocks Sammi’s head back with her jab forcing Sammi to shift her feet before attacking again. Again the action is close and intense to the bell. It’s another close round, but the judges give it to Sammi Hanratty.

R3: Janel trying to pound Sammi right back and there is good initial two-way with leather bouncing off respective heads. Janel is the one who drops back first and Sammi is quick to go after her, ducking down as she pounds Janel’s midsection while trying to drive her back to the ropes, Janel fighting back with the jab until Sammi unexpectedly goes high and socks Janel hard to the jaw with a smacking right. Janel lurches away shaking her head and looking unsteady on her feet. Sammi scrambling to keep up finally bulldozes Janel sideways into the ropes and pins her swinging punch after punch into the trapped Janel until referee breaks it up. Sammi maintains pressure as Janel struggles with her counters, she churns up a lot of sand staying away some Sammi Hanratty. It costs Janel with the judges who give it to Sammi by a wide margin.

R4: Janel fighting back in this round, scores early with a head swiveling right to Sammi’s jaw and a follow-up left to the cheekbone. Sammi looked stunned by these punches but has her gloves up protectively around her head, This gives Janel the chance to work over Sammi’s midsection again and his time she’s able to punch Sammi back to the ropes. Sammi shows some ring smarts by using repeated clinches to help get her away from the ropes. However Janel maintains a steady pressure with her body attack mixed with head shots whenever she sees a chance. Sammi mostly covering up and jabbing back. Sammi stays on her feet, but by the time the bell rings she has lost the ring wide to Janel.

R5: Janel resumes her pressure tactics and again tries to punch Sammi back to the ropes. Sammi now showing some evasiveness, moving well enough on the sand to keep Janel off balance. Sammi tries to counterattack, but gets her chin smacked hard by Janel’s quickjy employed jab. Two battle away and are very close now shoulders and foreheads sometimes touching. Sammi slipping in some uppercuts to the chin, but can’s slow down Janel’s attack on the breasts. Then Janel slips in an uppercut to Sammi’s chin and puts a shiver through her body. Battle continues to the bell and the judges decide to award it to Janel, but Sammi able to make it close this time.

R6: Janel not looking so good coming off her stool. Hot sun, those chin punches, the extra effort required to moving on sand getting to her? In any case she looks a bit arm-weary lfting her dukes up and the younger Janel comes roaring in. Janel suddenly looking swamped by all this Sammi Hanratty firepower. Sammi concentrating on her body attack and she drives the dazed Janel back to the ropes, Janel tries to escape by sliding along the strands, but Sammi staying on her and flailing away. These punches are landing all over the beleaguered Janel Parrish who takes a long time to try clinching. It helps—for a little while--but Sammi is surging as she swings away. Janel soon back on the ropes, going face in gloves just to survive the round. Sammi has to be pulled away from Janel who is staggering as she returns to her corner. Sammi just marches to her corner with a resolute expression.

R7: Janel badly beaten up in that last round, but she insists she is able to continue. She tries to leave corner like nothing is wrong but she looks drained as Sammi returns with more flying leather. Janel trying to use jab to keep Sammi away, but it seems to lack the power to achieve this goal. Sammi pounding forward pounding at head and then the stomach. Janel starts groaning as the belly hooks keep crashing in and she starts sagging forward. Sammi ducks down into a crouch and pops back up with a soaring right uppercut. Amazing punch catches Janel under the chin, lifts her off her toes and sends her sliding across the center of the sandy ring before coming to a halt, right arm at her side the left thrown back over her head. She is groaning, moving her legs and knees as the referee counts but she is unable to do more as the count passes her by.
THE WINNER: SAMMI HANRATTY OF THE WANNABEES KO7!

After: War hoop from Stella Hudgens who climbs into the ring to hug her victorious friend. Stella then helps remove Sammi’s gloves. Sammi hustles over to push referee aside and yank the foggy-eyed Janel to her feet.

“Hey! Wake up! Time to pay up!” Sammi says excited.

“Huh? Wha—what--?” Janel mumbles.

“Well, its no fun if you aren’t awake. Let me help you,:” Sammi says with a wicked grin. She then signals Stella to come over and help her drape Janel over the top rope (in full view of the paying customers).

“I’ll take it from here,” Janel announces and twists the bottom of Janel’s and gives her a strong wedgie that brings her awake immediately.

“What are you doing?” Janel cries squirming uselessly.

“Giving your buns the warming they deserve,” Sammi cries merrily and proceeds to give Janel a sound spanking.
Janel squeals, cries and moans, but she cannot escape. The energy goes out of her and she hangs there conscious but drained. Sammi then quickly removes the bra and panties and Stella Hudgens throws a big beach towel over Janel. Janel slides off the ropes and ends up crouching (she can’t seem to sit down now) pulling the towel around her.

“Score another one for Sammi and the Wannabees!” Stella Hudgens announces and then she and Sammi Hanratty leave arm and arm.

Meanwhile Beth Harnois and Nia Peeples are finally allowed to enter the ring and help the now totally exhausted Janel Parrish back to the PLP dressing tent.

An intermission is announced so that crowd can head for the refreshment tent and discuss the next fight. The Wannabees looked awfully good in this first fight. Can the Danielle Campbell of the PLP turn it around or will Zoey Deutch of the W’s make this a clean sweep?
