BEFORE:

"Obviously," says Constance with a gorgeous smile, "I'm very excited to be making my FCBA debut. I've been working hard to get a chance on the big stage, and I don't plan to waste it."

"Last year was a good year for me," Kat says with a nod. "But, it wasn't good enough. There were opportunities I didn't take advantage of. And, this is the year all of that changes."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, and that's 'Just A Girl' by No Doubt, and here comes one of the FCBA's biggest Gwen Stefani fans, the lovely Constance Wu!"

Cassie: "Like five of the girls on tonight's card, Wu making her FCBA debut in January, which has become a traditional month for new blood entering the organization."

McCarthy: "And, of course, that fits in perfectly with Weirdo's policy of bringing in tomato cans with no FCBA wins for his Dancing Hookers to fatten up on..."

Tess: "Now, Mac, should you be talking that way about your BOSS..."

McCarthy: "He is NOT my BOSS!"

Cassie: "Let's see if I can connect the dots here. YOU work for Sceej Boxing. Uncle Wiz OWNS Sceej Boxing. Sounds to me like you WORK for Uncle Wiz..."

McCarthy: "I do NOT! I would never work for that pointy-hatted..."

O'Dell: "A-HEM! Wu into the ring and helped off with the robe to reveal a white two-piece and a body that shows how hard she's been working to get ready for this one. And, that's 'Wanna Say' banging through the arena, and here comes 'The Liberian Lynx', Kat Graham!"

Tess: "As Graham pointed out, she had a good year in 2016, finally getting a signature win, but she left a pair of big fights on the table. She'll be looking to take the final step, into the level of top contenders, in 2017."

O'Dell: "Graham into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that yellow bikini she likes. And, the ladies are about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Kat. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Wu. NO FCBA wins. Graham."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "There's the bell. Kat right to the legs, and no surprise there. Graham as athletic as any flyweight in the FCBA, present company excepted, of course. Constance with the guard high and the chin tucked. She's moving the feet, looking to square while Kat's putting on a dance clinic..."

Tess: "But, not landing much of anything. She's snapping out the jab, but Wu's catching it on her gloves."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed. The older brunette occasionally running Graham to ground and getting off in combination. Kat responds, then slips away to open canvas. The Front Streeter clearly doing some recon early. Keeping all the exchanges short and not showing very much aggression, which is a bit surprising considering she's got an opponent in her first FCBA fight."

McCarthy: "This is typical Graham, which is why she's never going to be anything in the FCBA. How many times have we seen this from her?"

O'Dell: "Into the final 30 seconds of the round. Kat legging. Wu slowly pursuing, keeping the hands up and the head tucked. Constance very deliberate and quite effectively so. Lands a nice two-punch combination and Graham responds with a flurry. Most of it blocked by Wu and there's the bell. Close. Constance."

Cassie: "Not a bad first round for a tyro, that's for sure."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Graham back to her horse now, bouncing around, circling. Wu again pursuing deliberately with the guard high and the chin tucked and she got picked up right there, Mac! A NICE combination from Kat! Graham splitting the gloves with that quick left and then following on with three rapid-fire punches!"

McCarthy: "Not a lot to hit right there, but Graham hit it."

O'Dell: "And she does it again! Another crisp flurry from Kat that snaps back Wu's head! Constance covering up now as Graham going to town, showing all that speed we've seen so many times before. Wu giving ground, getting absolutely pasted right now! Kat not sitting down on anything. She keeps moving but she's stopping to pop and she's finding the older woman..."

Cassie: "This is a dangerous, dangerous spot for Wu. She's got to keep it together now and not get flustered by this."

O'Dell: "So far, so good with that. She's in her FCBA debut, but she's no kid. She's hanging in there as best she can, but right now Kat is just on a roll. She's landing punches in bunches, and, while Wu's not hurt, she's definitely a bit spooked. Ten seconds left in the round. One more flurry from Kat and there's the bell. Graham wide in the second."

Tess: "And, we're even at 19, but this doesn't feel even after that."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Wu a little more defensive this round. Graham back to the jab and circle. Constance not looking to close, just turning with, looking to square up and get off. Graham bouncing, snapping out the jab, not pressing anything, and, I can tell by the look on your face, Mac, that if you were in the corner, you'd have something to say about this..."

McCarthy: "Again, this is why Graham will never be anything in the FCBA. NOW is the time to get after this girl. You've got her flustered. You're in control. FINISH her."

O'Dell: "Kat bouncing around, just flipping that left out there. Hasn't thrown more than three rights in the entire round. Wu turning with, snapping the jab out to get the range, looking to drop in right hands and GETTING RUNG UP! Kat wobbled Connie with a NASTY three punch combination!"

Tess: "And Wu never saw a single one of those punches!"

O'Dell: "Kat letting the hands go. Wu staggered by a right hand and DOWN SHE GOES! Constance just crumples to her face under a barrage of leather. Graham to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Wu pushing up to her elbows. Eight. Nine. She can't get off the canvas. Ten! It's OVER! And your winner by KO3 in lighting fast fashion is 'The Liberian Lynx', Kat Graham!"

Cassie: "She IS impressive. She's no ME, like she thinks she is, but she's impressive."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Kat Graham, and, Kat, looked like you were getting the lay of the land in the first, but, after that, you took over."

Kat: "Look, she's been around, just not at this level. You don't take stupid chances. I wanted to see what she'd do, and, when I figured that out, it was time to take her out of there."

Tess: "Good start to 2017..."

Kat (smiling): "And, the best is yet to come!"
