TESS VALMORE

WU/GRAHAM Not of a great debut for Wu. She managed to win the first round, Four minutes laster, one minute into the third round, she was counted out, a victim of a Graham right hand.  This was Wu’s first fight and it should be her last.

BERGLUND/WINTER The mystery fight. Winter is introduced as the new member of Front Street, who enters with a 1-4 record. Berglund is a newbie The two were even at the end of two. After that, Winter controlled the rest of the bout winning rounds three and four and ending the fight in the fifth with a hook to the body and a right to the chin

CARSON/LEVY Of course I didn’t know who Carson was so I looked her up on IMDB. She doesn’t even have a biography. I wasn’t interested enough to pursue any further. Oh yeah, we had a fight. Carson got off to a good start winning the first two rounds. By time round four ended, Levy had evened up the bout. In the fifth Carson caught Levy off balance and Levy wasn’t hurt, but went down.   Levy got to her feet and unleashed of torrent of punches. More than Carson could handle and Carson went down and was unable to beat the count

STEVENS/DECKER This wasn’t a question of who would win, it was a question of how long it was going to last. The answer was less than four. The fight, as it is so often, was even at the end of two. Decker took the third and then put the hammer down in the fourth. The hammer was an overhand right that knocked Stevens out cold

SPARKS/UTGAARD After being even at the end of two, Sparks took the lead by winning the third. That lead disappeared in the fourth as Utgaard decked Sparks for an eight count. Going into the sixth, although Sparks had won the fifth Utgaard still had a good lead. It didn’t matter. In the sixth, Utgaard landed a right to Sparks’ chin and the bout was over with Sparks being counted out

DE LA GARZA/KESHA Not much to say about this bout. It lasted less than two minutes. Kesha caught De La Garza with an overhand left and the bout was over. I can’t recall when we last had a first round KO in the FCBA, but it happened here
