Before: Event kicks off with the de facto leader of the SIRENs locker room, Petra Nemcova, with her years of wisdom, making her dangerous opponent to deal with. Matching up against someone like Jennifer was strategic on her part, the Czech former SI-model wanting to make a splash and set an example for the rest of her stablemates to follow. Jennifer Lamiraqui no lame duck either, the French beauty’s age may be catching up to her, but she’s looking no less ravishing in her toned body and generous smile. In all honesty it’s a toss-up between the two due to Petra’s 2-inch tall advantage versus Jennifer’s slightly more seasoned time in the ring.

Round 1: Bell rings and ladies get to work. Pundits, having reviewed both girls’ training videos, have nothing much else to go on in terms of predicting strategy and outcome, but Petra a surprising favourite, impressing due to her built and power. This shows up immediately with the blonde wracking bombs Jennifer’s guard, buffeting the French beauty about with authority. Jennifer looks out of her element here but she quickly adapts, wading out of the way with her speed and leaving Petra looking like the fool with her gloves hitting air. Jennifer grinning towards the end of the round, tagging her opponent’s defence with fast jabs, but they seem to irritate Petra more than hurt. Petra needs to find some way to land those big bombs if she wants to stay in this fight for the long haul.

Round 2: Lamiraqui getting into a good rhythm now: jab jab at head then follow-up with a low blow that connects with Petra’s tummy on more than one occasion. The blonde looks more and more worried as the round unfurls, perhaps worry starting to creep in that she may not be making that intended splash. Petra switching to jabs of her own, but at this point too tired and too slow, slapping at Jennifer’s body, but the French model’s snappier jabs landing more often, again giving her the round at the bell. Petra cursing under her breath as she strides back to corner, frustrated at not having dominated her opponent as she had wanted to. But hey, she doesn’t look too banged up yet herself. Pundits still crossing their fingers, hoping that she can go far and wide not just in this match but in this career.

Round 3: Jennifer’s smirk still stuck on her face - knows the fight is going her way and of course slight satisfaction at having disrupted her opponent’s debut celebratory fight. Lamiraqui sticking to the same strategy with her quick jabs to Petra’s face, but is surprised all of a sudden when Petra’s guard tightens and the blonde swats away her second jab, leaving her open for a right hook that CRASHES straight into her face! Jennifer stunned as the haymaker finally hits home, her body spins from the impact, only has split second to steady herself before Petra’s completely on her, huge hands alternate battering of forearms before going underneath with plundering right hands that chop her body in half! Jennifer looks completely outmatched in close quarters fighting, feeble jabs at her foe’s face leaving little to no effect as a furious Petra smells blood, smashes an uppercut into Jennifer’s face, sending her sprawling back to the canvas! KNOCKDOWN PETRA IN FINAL MINUTE!!

Crowd roars as Petra strides around the ring, one fist raised to the crowd. Looks like her vision’s coming through after all. But hang on, referee’s still counting, and Jennifer is slowly rising! Fight’s not over, ladies and gentlemen, evident from scowl on Petra’s face as Jennifer makes it back to her feet at the count of 8.

Referee tries to resume fight, but bell immediately rings after, leaving Petra in semi-charge stance. Jennifer must be thankful for that - she may be on two feet, but she’s swaying with the wind, hands still shaky from that knockdown. Can the French beauty recover in time for the next round?

Round 4: Jennifer still on wobbly feet as she struggles to stand at the bell. Petra, however, no such trouble, and ON. SHE. COMES! Jennifer seems to have lost the ability to scamper - she stands rooted like a deer in headlights as Petra launches big lefts and rights at her head. At least the Frenchwoman has decency to raise her guard, but honestly, she’s like a scared kid, hands glued to the sides of her face, protecting herself against the monster that is Petra. The Czech model growling in such a manner as she traps Lamiraqui against the turnbuckle now, lobbing hooks that crash into her arms. When that doesn’t seem to break her defence, Petra bunches her tummy up with uppercuts to sternum hup hup hup. That seems to do the trick! Jennifer’s hands immediately shoot downward, leaving her chin open for yet another crushing uppercut that Petra seems to have put all her strength into! Jennifer lets out an animalistic grunt as her head snaps backwards, body crashing into the hard turnbuckle then bouncing back and falling face-first into the canvas!! KNOCKDOWN PETRA FOR THE SECOND TIME! Referee scampers over after being ordered by the Siren to “COUNT HER THE F*CK OUT!” but the official takes one look at snoozing Jennifer and waves off the need to!

After: It’s official alright: Petra’s first win in the ring but also the first ever win from the SIRENs, and it’s definitely something worth celebrating: her stablemates rush the ring and embrace their older teammate.

“We’re here to stay, baby.” Petra croons to reporters amidst the celebratory chaos. “This is just the beginning for the SIRENs.”

As we move on to the second match of the evening, there’s no doubt that everyone else is waiting to see if her words prove to be right or worse.
