Roxanne Pallett (Kears Kats) vs Ariana Grande (Queens of the Mic)

Since entering FCBA in late 2014, Foxy Roxy, now 34, has enjoyed some remarkable victories, notably over Brenda Song, and even in defeat against Hayden Panettiere, she was by no means disgraced, although she ended up taking a beating. However, Ariana has flattered to deceive, and lost all her fights in 2016, but at just 23, she has time on her side.

Tonight Ariana wears a black vest and hotpants with white gloves and boots, whilst busty Roxanne is wearing an electric blue bra and panties set, with matching gloves and boots.

Round 1

The girls start quickly, Ariana looking eager to get on with this fight,and she’s bopping some neat jabs into Roxanne’s face, making the Brit backpedal in the early stages, Roxy covering her head and face with her gloves, leaving her body slightly vulnerable, but Ariana doesn’t take advantage, and this is allowing Roxanne to regain her momentum, and now she’s the one landing punches, and she’s hurt Ariana with a left hook, making the younger girl go back now, then tucks into her body with some good shots, but the fight swings Ariana’s way again in the final minute as she gives Roxanne a sweet uppercut, and follows with a very nice two fisted attack to her face, giving Ariana the opening round.

Round 2

Ariana’s putting on a good performance, and she’s getting the better of Roxanne as the second round begins, pressing the older girl backwards with some lovely combinations, and Roxy’s beginning to mark up around her cheeks as Ariana’s gloves smack into them, the older girl reddening badly around her left eye, as Ariana lands her right hook too easily, rocking the Brit onto her heels, and boxing better than she has since she beat up Samia Ghadie back in 2015. Roxanne just can’t seem to get going at all in this fight, and she’s rocked backwards again by that stinging uppercut, flops onto the ropes, and Ariana could finish her here, lands another good right hook, but Roxy covers and spoils through to the bell to survive.

Round 3

Roxanne’s got plenty of grease around her left eye now, but Ariana soon knocks that off with a sweet combination, Roxy now bleeding from her nose a little as she takes two very straight and solid left jabs, going back into the ropes again, and maybe this will be the end, because she looks fairly lumped up and shaky, as Ariana hits her hard in the mouth, but Roxanne holds and hangs on in there, the referee getting involved, and it seems like Ariana’s becoming frustrated, unable to quite land the punch to put her down, and she may just be running out of ideas – and energy as well! Roxanne’s landing some of her own shots to a tiring Ariana, and she’s turned her to put her on the ropes instead, working her to the body in the closing seconds of this round, and although she’s not really been tested, Ariana looks quite flimsy as the round ends.

Round 4

Roxanne’s managed to take the sting out of Ariana, but she’s still looking fairly sorry for herself, her left cheek badly swollen, and Ariana finds that target again in the opening exchange, although she’s taking more punches than Roxy now, as the Brit starts to show Ariana what boxing is about, punishing the younger girl with some rapid punches to her ribs and flanks, and Ariana’s feeling those punches, Roxy now in control, pushing and prodding Ariana so easily, the younger girl taking some firm punches to her face as she tries to protect her body, Roxanne at last winning a round as she hits and hurts the Floridian girl, Ariana going backwards to the ropes again, and she can’t stop Roxy’s punches with anything but her face in the closing moments of the round, the bell ending the torture for her, and there’s blood on her face now, her left eyebrow bleeding a little.

Round 5

Ariana’s slow to leave her stool, and Roxanne’s picked up on her condition, the fight turned on its head, and it’s Ariana’s head which is taking the punishment now as Roxanne just lays into her as she presses her back into her own corner, the younger girl eventually managing to block Roxy and clinch, but she’s becoming weaker by the second, and the older girl thuds punches into her body, even while Ariana’s clinching, and the referee’s break is almost a relief for Ariana. As the bell approaches, it’s all Roxanne, as she works Ariana over on the ropes, the poor girl’s face a mess as she takes punches from both hands, and she must be wondering what happened to turn this around.

Round 6

The referee isn’t convinced that he should let this continue, but Ariana is probably still ahead on most scorecards, and she comes out again to face the rampant Roxanne, who very quickly swats her with a sweet one-two, and Ariana’s legs are shaking a bit, and another solid right hook from Roxanne sends her down to the canvas – she isn’t getting up either!

Result: Roxanne Pallett knocked out Ariana Grande in round 6.

Roxanne celebrates going 6 – 5 on her FCBA career, but really Ariana should have won that in 3 – she just seemed to run out of ideas and energy, then couldn’t take the punishment coming her way.
