Jennette McCurdy (Beevers Babes USA) v Camila Cabello (Empire Boxing)

24 year old Jennette has found boxing more difficult than she had hoped, and needs to get some wins to boost her record and her confidence. Maybe 19 year old songstress Camila will be the first to feel her wrath in 2017, or maybe she will build on her own improving record and take Jennette down.

Jennette wears a black leather one piece outfit with matching gloves and boots, the blonde looking very sinister, while Camila wears a red bikini with red gloves and boots, the Cuban girl looking fit and ready to fight.

Round 1

Jennette looks in a hurry to land big shots on Camila, but Camila doesn’t want that sort of fight, the teen looking good as she keeps her distance, either blocking Jennette’s punches, or making her miss, and then she’s giving Jennette some work to the body, rapping her gloves on the blonde’s ribcage, as she tries to slow her down and take the sting out of her. Jennette lands a good left hook, though, and she’s got Camila rocking after that, but unusually she stands off, and lets Camila back into thinks, the brunette again hitting Jennette’s ribs and flanks, whilst the blonde seems content to take what she’s got, much to the irritation of her corner, because she’s handing the round to the younger girl, and seems to be taking her too lightly right now.

Round 2

After getting a lecture from her management, Jennette seems more like her normal, feisty self now, and she’s taking the fight to Camila as she did early in the opening round, rocks the teenager with a left hook, and starts to work her girl now, bumping her head backwards with a few good, straight punches, although Camila’s not yielding too much canvas, and she’s still concentrating on Jennette’s body, probably aware that the curvy girl may be putting up a little overweight, but that’s of little consequence as Jennette smacks her head left and right again, Camila wary of Jennette’s big left hook, but she still takes some sweet punches, and Jennette wobbles her with a right hook as the round draws to a close, a punch which Camila recovers from quite well, but she’s not offering any aggression as she lets Jennette land her punches on protective arms and gloves to the end of the round.

Round 3

It looks like Jennette’s on the home stretch now, and she’s giving Camila some mean punishment to her face, clubbing her backwards to the ropes, and looks like she’s about to open her up – but Camila lands a great punch to her solar plexus, bends her over, and gives her one, two uppercuts, Jennette staggering and in deep trouble, as Camila moves in closer, and clubs some hard punches into her body, trying to get that guard to drop, blood dribbling from Jennette’s nose as she’s forced to breathe through her mouth, looking shabby again after being far too confident that she had the fight won, but she’s getting backed into the ropes, takes more shots – then fights back, punching her way out of trouble, and toughing out the closing seconds.

Round 4

Both girls have landed good shots, but they’re a bit quieter as round 4 begins, Camila boxing neatly, sending out her left jab, and tucking in behind it – but Jennette goes for the big shots again, and she’s stunned the teenager with a left hook over the top of her guard, Camila’s legs not doing what they’re told as the blonde rips into her body now, those black gloves making hard smacking noises as they land on the youngster’s pinking flesh, her guard down midway through the round, and in goes another left hook, and Camila can’t take it – she’s on the canvas, and on her back, taking the full count!

Result : Jennette McCurdy knocked out Camila Cabello in round 4.

Once again, Jennette showed how hard she can punch – but she takes too much punishment really, and better and harder punchers than Camila will punish her for it. As for Camila? She needs to take a few easier fights and then she can work on her defence.
