(Girls Friday vs Free Agent)

Intro:
Two up and coming fighters meet up to fight it out as Elizabeth
Henstridge takes on the undefeated New Blood flyweight champion Chloe
Moretz tonight.
Elizabeth heads into this fight with a record of 4 wins, all by
knockout and 2 losses in her young career, she's 29 years old and
stands 5'4.
Her opponent Chloe comes in at 3 wins, all by knockout and 0 losses in
her own young career like herself, the just turned 20 years old stands
5'4 as well.

In the build up to the card, the last press event saw the girls meet
up and there was a warm hand shake between the girls as they smile at
each other and politely chat till they have to go to their tables to
speak.
Elizabeth is asked to speak first, standing and smiling to the crowd
of journalists wanting to get any scoops on this fight.
She starts by saying "Chloe has started like a house on fire, I mean
I'm honestly jealous of where she's gone in her film career and in the
ring my lord, she's unbeaten after 3 tough fights, while I lost mine
in my second fight"
Smiling at Chloe, she continues "I have to show my talents off with
this fight, Chloe is good, hell she could be the new Mish or Hudgens
with the right backer, but I have to be the now, not the future and
that means winning this fight"
Chloe smiles warmly back at Elizabeth, clearly enjoying the
comparisons to the legends of the flyweight division.
The beautiful blonde stands up and nods at her future opponent, before
saying "thank you Elizabeth, I remember when us New Blood girls were
training for the tournament, the Girls Friday girls would come and
silently scout us, but Elizabeth actually wanted to know us, so I have
to thank her for taking the time to not just see me as a rival, but to
try and be kind to a young woman like myself in this shark pool of
talent"
Changing the subject to the fight, she adds "but as she said, both of
us need a win to stamp our authority on our careers, a loss could put
back months of work we have put in, so I need this win badly to
hopefully get the notice of the girls she speaks of, the Hudgens and
Williams, the Lucy Hales and now Anna Kendricks, I signed up to be the
best and I'm still off that pace at the moment"
The girls are about to go face off when a journalist asks "so how
about Ariel Winter signing for Front Street, must have been a shock?"
Chloe clinches her fists, clearly a sore point as she answers "look, I
could bytch and moan that a girl I beat remember to win the New
Blood's has been signed before me, the fact we were both considered
doesn't help, but all I can say is there loss, if they want the second
best, they are welcome to her.
Turning to the journalist who asked the question, she says " when I
get signed, it'll be the best day of my life, till that time; I'm
going to keep working my ass off and making people I care about proud
of me, does that answer your question?"
The proud Chloe stands as tall as she can on stage as Elizabeth gives
her a respectful clap, the supposed staredown turns into Elizabeth
putting her hand on Chloe's shoulder and telling her "you'll find a
home stable soon, just let the manager find you" which seems to calm
the youngster down as the girls hug, before leaving the stage together
to catch up.

Fight night, out comes Elizabeth first; looking as bubbly as ever with
Taryn Terrell and Eva Carneiro by her side as coach and cut woman
respectfully.
As she walks to the ring, she sees her loyal fan base in the crowd,
still wearing their "master of the sweet science" shirts for her, as
she takes her black robe with a agents of shield logo on the back off
on the stage to show she's wearing the same T-shirt, which she asks
Taryn to help her take off and throw into the crowd to her fans.
The girls almost start wrestling for it in the crowd but all start
shouting "oh my God!" As one holds it towards Elizabeth and the
fighter looks almost emotional already, till she sees the annoyed look
on Taryn's face, the blonde starts smiling after a tense moment and
shaking her head at how childish she is, baring in mind that Taryn
used to lead a stable named "the Dollhouse"
Finally they climb into the ring and Elizabeth is wearing a black
sports bra, matching trunks with #MOTSS on her waistband in white and
black gloves and shoes, as she heads to her corner to finish warming
up.
Now Chloe comes out with cheerleaders on the stage, with Chloe dancing
through a guard of honour of pom poms!
As the camera gets a better view of Chloe, she's wearing a pink jumper
with Kappa Nu written on, the sorority that her character in Bad
Neighbours 2 made as she has her hair tied into two pigtails and she
skips down to the ring.
Her coach is already down by her corner, as he helps help take her
jumped off to reveal she has a pink sports bra, trunks with Kappa Nu
on the front and rules on the back of the waistband and pink shoes.
Climbing into the ring, Chloe winks at Elizabeth as she gets her pink
gloves on and spits her chewing gum into a bucket on the ring apron.
Elizabeth just smiles all the way through this madness, part of her
wishing she could do a big entrance like Chloe does.
She's knocked out that thought process as the girls are ordered to the
ring centre, all the fun and games aside, now the girls get serious,
staring each other down as the referee goes through his instructions.
Asked to touch gloves, the girls hug instead and wish each other luck
as they jog back to their corners, the referee shrugs his shoulders
and waves for the bell to start 10 rounds of flyweight boxing action.

Round 1:
Off we go, both girls up on their toes, fit young fighters and it
shows as they dance around each other, rifling their jabs into each
others faces.
Chloe tries to go in hard first, throwing three punches up top that
Elizabeth just about blocks, then pistons her right into the nose of
the blonde to knock her head back.
The girls continue to fight around the ring, throwing single shots to
open spots in the others defences, the crowd are watching intently.
This time Elizabeth times her approach to throw a right hook to turn
Chloe's cheek, then two shots to her body with her left as she tries
to power forwards and push Moretz back.
But Chloe shows off her speed, retreating back into space, then moving
around the brunette, Chloe landing a double jab to the right cheek of
Elizabeth.
Before she now goes on the front foot, Elizabeth like of mind and the
girls work each other around the body, the crowd starting to shout for
both girls.
But both step back to fight at range again, both better in the open
and not tight as they were.
Around the ring they fight again, a true flyweight style fight as the
girls are throwing quick strikes at each other, moving quickly around
each other on their toes.
Chloe tries to step in quickly again, but Elizabeth catches her with a
clean right cross to her lips that stop her in her tracks and the
brunette adds two more straight shots to the face of Chloe to batter
her back a few steps.
As time is ticking down in the round and Chloe manages to duck a right
hook over her head, stepping into the gap being the two fighters to
land an uppercut that knocks Elizabeth's head back and she clinches
up.
The girls get separated, Elizabeth covering up as Chloe rushes forward
with a flurry of punches and Henstridge has to retreat into space out
the way of the blondes attack.
The bell rings with both girls jogging back to their corners, both
girls maybe friends but they know that waits till the final bell, now
it's all business and you can see with their body language that it is.
The girls getting cleaned up with both happy over their workrate, both
taking on water to keep their energy levels up, as their coaches tell
them the things they need to do to improve for the rest of the fight.

Round 2:
Both come out much more prepares for each other now as they trade
stiff shots up top and circle around each other.
Chloe shows early this round why she is touted so highly as a prospect
in the league, she times her attacks better this round, striking on
the inside and getting back out with minimal damage in return.
Elizabeth looking a little rattled as Chloe lands two unanswered cross
punches up top and the brunette misses with a counter straight of her
own as her opponent ducks it.
Once more as they clash in the ring centre, both this time landing
some good shots, but as Elizabeth tries to get in closer to Chloe, she
takes a right hook that stops her in her tracks now and Chloe powers
force with a three punch combo up top that knocks the English girl
back towards the ropes.
If not for Elizabeth's own footwork still being good to get her away
from this frontal assault, then she could have been in real danger.
Elizabeth manages to reset as Chloe comes back on the attack and
finally this round she lands a good piercing shot to that nose of the
American and then two shots up the middle of her body.
But Chloe comes back quickly, landing two stiff shots to the flanks of
Elizabeth to wind her, she sends a straight of her own to Henstridge's
nose in retaliation for the one she just received.
The girls are never far apart from each other as they exchange to the
others bodies now, trying to shut each other down it seems.
Chloe seems to be getting the worse of these exchanges after her hard
work this round, so goes back up top with a vicious left cross and
then just missing with her uppercut by inches as Elizabeth retreats.
Not long left in the round and the girls work hard to try and win the
round, slugging it out in tight with wild shots and as the bell rings
seconds later, the fighters pull away straight away and head to their
corners.
Both girls have some red marks on their faces, Elizabeth's are more
pronounced as Chloe looks the much more happier of the two, nodding to
her coach, who praises her good work but tells her the bits to improve
on.

Round 3:
Chloe is back on the front foot quickly, using her better hand speed
to land the better punches once more in the early exchanges.
The Sheffield girl is struggling to keep up the pace by the looks of
it as Chloe's youthful energy is driving her backwards in their
exchanges.
Taryn clearly getting upset in her corner as Chloe hits her with a
right to her chin to turn her head and then a left to the body to
press her even further backwards.
Elizabeth fires back with a double jab and a right hook to push Chloe
back for a moment to get a chance to think about how to counteract her
opponent.
That doesn't last long as Chloe is back on her, rights and lefts, some
that hit; others don't as Elizabeth backpedals in hopes of getting
something back in return.
She's pressed to the ropes and if not for quick thinking to clinch,
Chloe may have been buying her train ticket out of the city sooner to
go home.
The referee gets involved, separating the girls, Elizabeth is quick to
strike, desperately slamming three body shots in Chloe's abs.
The blonde groans and steps back in retreat for the first time in
feels like for ever for Henstridge, who tries to drive on, but Chloe
just looks in top gear, swiveling out of the way of a wild straight
punch and landing a counter to the body of Elizabeth to reel her back
onto her heels once more.
Elizabeth is behind the proverbial eight ball here, being caught up
top by the hand speed of Chloe, who looks comfortable.
Maybe too comfortable as the round is coming to an end, she slows down
slightly, maybe resting up with not long left to push on hard in the
next round.
Elizabeth sees her chance and goes for it, landing two digging shots
to the body of Chloe, the blonde trying to fight back.
But Elizabeth almost bulldozes Chloe backwards, head down as she lands
three unanswered body shots before the bell rings.
Henstridge continuing with the business like approach, jogging back to
her corner as Taryn checks her cheeks, both looking slightly swollen.
Chloe meanwhile stares hard into the back of her opponent, the first
bit of real emotion from each fighting since the bell rung to start
the fight.
She shakes her head though and grins to herself as she heads to her
corner, her coach not smiling as she warns her to keep on top of
things before they spiral out if control.

Round 4:
Both fighters are quick to move towards the ring centre, Chloe trying
to keep the space between them but Elizabeth is almost right in her
face.
Working the body with greater urgency, the brunette lands four digging
shots right into the stomach of Chloe, who retreats back to escape the
punishment.
Chloe does come back at Elizabeth, cracking her to her left cheek with
a hard right hand that rocks the brunette back a few steps.
But this time as she tries to get back on the front foot, Elizabeth
fires back with a right to the body, then lands her own right to the
side of Chloe's face.
Both girls snap out their shots in tight till they clash bodies and
clinch up to take a quick rest from punishing each other.
The girls are separated and as they are told to start again, as they
clash again, Elizabeth digs away to the body more and Chloe is clearly
getting hurt, her eyes shutting as she shoves Elizabeth off of her.
Sweat starting to drip of their bodies as the pace of the fight heats
up even more, the girls swinging hard shots and mostly missing.
Elizabeth rocks Chloe with an uppercut and powers her to the ropes,
the youngster managing to clinch up before anything serious happens to
her, but the cameras catch her blinking to clear her vision.
Separated again, the girls circle in tight, going back and forth in
the exchange to the crowds delight, before they each take a step back.
The girls look seriously hard at each other, the fighters trying to
work out how to win this fight now after each has had some success.
Chloe is the first to try something, fainting with her left, but as
she strikes with a right cross, both girls have the same idea, landing
nearly in unison and that leads to a fiery exchange between the two,
both groaning as they put some power behind their punches with seconds
ticking away in the round.
The bell rings with both girls looking each other up and down, seeing
the red marks and the swelling on each others faces.
Both head back to their corners, Elizabeth shutting her eyes to try
and focus on anything but how sore she is, while Chloe taps her foot
and looks at the canvas, annoyed that she let Elizabeth to get back
into this fight.
Their corner teams work hard to fix them up, neither coach looking
particularly happy with the way this fight is going for their girls,
just praying inside they can pull the victory out.

Round 5:
The pace seems to be slowing down at first, the girls are measuring
each other up with their jabs, testing the waters once more.
Then they launch into each other, brawling in tight, quick thrown
punches knocking each other around in the centre of the ring.
Stepping back out, Chloe has a small shiner forming under her left
eye, as Elizabeth's nose trickles a little blood from her nostrils.
The girls faint and sneak punches through the others slowly lowering
guards, with Chloe getting onto the front foot to strike with two
cross punches to the head of Elizabeth.
Who in turn lands a hook to the ribs of the American, both fighters
wince as they continue trading and end up in a clinch once more.
Neither is pushing or shoving, just taking a moment to clear their
heads, till the referee gets involved to pull them apart and order
them to fight.
Nothing seems to be able to separate the girls, hammer and tongs from
both sees them fight around the ring, landing and taking some real
hard shots with both girls being rocked.
The pace slow down with not long left in the round, the girls throwing
single punches over the others guard till the bell rings.
Both girls nearly crack a grin as they see the other is hurting,
heading back to their stools, the fighters sit down and lean against
their corners, enjoying the soothing water on their faces and ice
packs where they are most sore.
Their eyes meet across the ring, almost an understanding between them
that they'll need to do more to win this fight judging by the resolve
in their opponent.

Round 6:
Meeting up, the girls work as best they can, snaking their shots
repeatedly through the others guards early on, the fighters look to
get that one shot to turn this fight.
But this round starts as tight as the last round was, the girls coming
in tight to slug it out, but Elizabeth is showing signs of taking
over, her body shots eat away at the stomach of Chloe who is on her
heels soon enough.
Chloe getting desperate, showing her youth as she tries to go for a
haymaker to get back in full control, but she misses with a wide right
and a right hook lands on her temple.
Moretz falls to her knees then all fours and looks shaky as she blinks
while staring down at the canvas, Henstridge back into a neutral
corner as the count begins.
The crowd all edge closer on their seats as Chloe tries to push
herself up, but her arms slip and she falls onto her side in a heap
and she's trying to clear her head in time.
But can only start shoving off her side as the count reaches 10 and
the fight is over!

Winner: Elizabeth Henstridge KO Round 6

After:
Chloe's unbeaten run ends with a bang, she finally sits up and looks
ashamed of herself for losing after such an effort to keep her streak
going.
Elizabeth gets to her knees, grimacing as she does, consoling the
youngster who nods at her and the girls share a touching moment as
Henstridge acts like a big sister to the blonde.
Their coaches help them up and take their gloves off as the girls
smile at each other as Elizabeth jokes with Chloe to try and lift her
spirits up.
The beaten fighter still looks understandably upset by the situation,
but she isn't blaming Elizabeth and looks not to throw this closeness
away over her own mistakes.
The referee stands between the girls so the result can be announced,
Elizabeth gets her hand raised with Chloe clapping her to show her
respect.
Then Chloe goes to leave, Elizabeth quickly moves to tap her on her
shoulder and as the blonde turns around, she learns in to tell Chloe
something, that makes Moretz smile and nod to her as they hug tight
and some tears flow between them.
After they separate, Chloe leaves to her name being chanted, nodding
to her fans, she seems to realise that a defeat is certainly not the
end of her ascension, just a small blip if she makes sure she gets
back in the gym and works her ass off to win fights again.
Elizabeth waves to the crowd as she does a lap inside the ring,
thanking them for their continued support and looking proud of herself
for overcoming Chloe.
Heading to the back with Taryn and Eva, Taryn stops her a second to
point to the fans she saw at the start, at first Elizabeth looks
confused what her coach is getting at.
Then Taryn pulls a pen out the back of her blue jeans and tells her
"sign the top dopey, take that as your reward for listening to me"
Elizabeth grins as she waves for the top she threw to her fans before
the fight and as she gets it back, she signs it "with love for your
support, the master Elizabeth Henstridge xx" then throws it back to
her fans.
Thanking Taryn as they head to the back and are swamped by
journalists, who are desperate to hear her on the fight.
She starts by saying "watch this space because Chloe with the right
person behind her is a champion in the making, I can tell you that
from that performance"
The journalists are mumbling amongst each other, surprised in some
ways for her candid answer about her opponent.
"I am so happy to overcome that test, she pushed me so hard, I've been
blessed to fight fit girls like Jane Levy and Vanessa Hudgens who beat
me, Chloe fights at a high tempo like that, so I hope I've proven that
I can beat that type of fighter and now I will hopefully be looking up
the rankings for more great fights" continues Elizabeth as she smiles
warmly at the cameras.
Before she heads off she's asked, what did you tell Chloe, Elizabeth
turns back and says "that she is going to be a legend and that if she
ever needs a friend, my phone is always open to her"
Then she finally gets a chance to get into her stables locker room and
get a soothing shower on her sore body, while most winners will be
celebrating, she has a pillow with her name on tonight to rest up and
head back to England first thing tomorrow.
