Helen Flanagan versus Joo Minhee

BEFORE: Two bantamweights who are certainly forces to be reckoned with; Joo Minhee, the recently debuting Korean beauty on a five win streak against the busty and powerful Brit Helen Flanagan, who recently joined with the Sisters in Arms. It’s a stable member fight, albeit not originally intended as one, it seems.

“I’ve had my eye on Helen Flanagan for a long time, and I think she might be one of the toughest fights I’ll have.” Minhee observes. “I’m glad she’s on our team, but I still can’t let a golden opportunity like this pass me by. I understand that a lot of my opponents haven’t exactly been daunting, and now Helen is my opportunity to change that!”

“I’m just glad to be where I belong: in a stable, getting fights.” says Helen. “This turned from a pay-per-view match into seemingly an initiation meeting for me. Even if this girl’s been on a win streak, I’ll be more than happy to show her how to break one and why I got invited here in the first place!”

ROUND 1: Both girls not messing around as they throw powershots at each other to start things off. Helen with the first strike connecting into Minhee’s cheek, and quickly using her other arm to pepper the singer more. Minhee digging right into Helen’s breadbasket and a flurry of right jabs as a counter-attack—Helen now more distant. The two SIA Bantams start brawling center ring once more, then breaking away from each other; Minhee using her height advantage to land a few jabs to her breasts as they move apart. Helen active, searching for a chance to get back in, but Minhee has her guard steady and happily smacks the British actress away whenever she tries to close in. Helen steps in with a left—feints Minhee with a vicious right! Very well-placed as Minhee gets forced backward, Helen moving in as quick as she can to land some powershots to the Korean girl’s gut before Minhee gets that guard back to normal. Helen still confident, still sticking on Minhee; whiffs a left aimed for her face and gets punished with a right to the side that catches her off guard! Minhee putting some power into her left as she moves a foot forward, sending the Brit staggering away and getting lit with Minhee’s quick fists before the bell rings to give her a break. Very good back-and-forth that round, but the point lead belongs to Minhee by a hair.

ROUND 2: Helen getting aggressive to start the second round, aiming specifically for Minhee’s chest and abs. Minhee moves around her like a lightning bolt, punishing the Brit from one side of her body to the other. Flanagan very stubborn, missing her uppercut to Minhee’s chin by a few inches as the Korean girl replies with a right cross! She stumbles, desperately trying to retaliate, but the Korean girl is just too swift and comes down like a storm with a beautiful combination to Helen’s stomach and chest! Helen getting pushed into the ropes, nowhere to run, still getting peppered! Retaliating with sloppy-but-scary blows, one actually hitting Minhee in the ribs and forcing her to give the British girl some room. Helen knows that she needs to stay careful for most of the round, though, and defends herself from a still spry Joo Minhee, only occasionally landing some countershots or dodging shots for most of the round. It’s obvious that the Korean girl is back in control, and the round goes to her once the bell rings. She pumps a fist triumphantly and Helen pounds her gloves together to get herself to focus as they head back to their corners.

ROUND 3: Both girls neutral at the center of the ring, circling each other. Helen Flanagan extremely careful as she tries to poke at any holes in Minhee’s defense. Minhee’s more aggressive approach IS doing her some favors in that regard, as she weaves around each of the Korean girl’s strikes and lands some well-placed body and face shots. Helen goes in for a straight, Minhee just barely ducking it and smacking Flanagan with a hook! Minhee pounces once more, whacking Helen at the sides, but Helen SPRINGS forward with a sudden right haymaker to get her act back together! Minhee is forced off with a loud groan, and is now getting hammered by the Brit who’s showing some of that classic power as she smacks Minhee around like a punching bag for a few crucial moments! Minhee finally retaliating just enough to force Helen to ease up, but she’s sticking to the Korean girl like nobody’s business, forcing her into a corner. Minhee still toughing it out, landing some crucial hits on Helen’s face and breasts during the firefight! Both ladies in a symphony of leather, Minhee finally digging her way out of the corner, but not from Helen as more jabs land on Minhee’s face. Minhee looks visibly frustrated, tossing out a sudden cross that rocks Helen’s skull. The ladies go full force at each other, trading all the way until the bell rings. Both took a beating, but both stay tall and confident; and Helen is finally giving the crowd a taste of her training as she takes this round by an inch.

ROUND 4: Helen moving in, looking ferocious as she tries to pummel the KPOP singer once more with her rapid alternating gloves; you wouldn’t be blamed if you thought this was a fight between bitter rivals, not stable members. Minhee sticking through at all, her guard firm as Helen pounds away. Minhee goes for the counter, but Helen sees it coming from a mile away and uppercuts the Korean girl right in the gut! Minhee taken off her feet for a moment, now getting walked around the ring by Flanagan. The Brit is giving it all the power she’s got, but Minhee still standing, despite obviously not being the one in control of this round. She can’t block forever, though, and goes for a desperate haymaker—one that once again whiffs. Minhee still swinging, and Helen dodges the next flurry easily and silences it with a huge left to the Korean beauty’s bust! Minhee sounds off in pain, and Helen goes to town on her face! Minhee stuck in a corner, getting struck over and over by the Brit despite her resistance! The bell sounds just in time to give her a moment’s rest. You’d think she’d be exhausted by now, but no! Helen is giddy, ecstatic at her dominant round as she proves her mettle to the excited audience! But Minhee just starts taking some deep breaths as she walks into her corner, and starts becoming oddly relaxed as she smirks back at her stablemate. Could this be the return of Minhee’s sexy and deadly personality in the ring?

ROUND 5: Helen comes out swinging, grazing Minhee’s cut face once more, but not connecting. Minhee dodges, her gloves held high and moving low to avoid any gut shots; one more power shot could drop her, folks! Minhee finally lands some non-deadly counters, her jabs teaching Flanagan a lesson about getting a little too overzealous. As they knock the Brit’s head back and forth, Helen aims for her chest once again, and Minhee leans back and comes right in with a jug shot of her own! More jabs, followed by a left cross! Now everyone can fully hear Helen’s pain as Minhee exacts her vengeance, rocking her stablemate and trying to keep her stunned for as long as possible! It seems to be working, as Helen stays fairly unresponsive to each strike that connects; is she out on her feet? A big straight to the sore stomach sends a tired Helen Flanagan into her corner, panting and sweating. Minhee doesn’t pursue; no, she starts taunting her opponent! She starts swinging her hips from left to right, winking at Helen as she beckons the crowd with her right arm by thrusting it into the air. It works—shouts of “MIN-HEE, MIN-HEE!” fill the arena. Helen now flustered and charging forward at Minhee, who dodges without even having her gloves raised! The next few swings don’t connect either, leaving Helen wide open as she focuses more on hurting Minhee than winning the fight; and AN UPPERCUT from Minhee!! Helen pays the price for giving into anger as Minhee hammers her hard in the side! Minhee all over Helen’s ribs, making the British girl cough and a cross that could’ve taken another girl’s head off! The Sisters-in-Arms have fully exploded as the Kpop girl dominates the actress, Helen getting bombarded, but STILL putting up a fight!! She has Minhee dodging and weaving, still landing straights to her stomach—the bell rings, and it’s over. A round that gets chalked up for Minhee, but it looks like neither of these girls are gonna drop any time soon, no matter the results!

ROUND 6: Both girls are out for blood, it looks like, as they start going all out, just trying to finally put the other down! Minhee first with speedy hooks, Helen retaliating with a right at the breadbasket, Minhee back with another uppercut; none of it is hitting! Helen with left-right-left-rights on Minhee’s guard, hoping to pierce right through and land the shot that could end this fight! Minhee barely avoids a right, comes up with a right—HELEN WITH A SUDDEN COUNTER!! The left cross sends Minhee staggering, seemingly weak as Helen swarms her, forcing the musician into the ropes. Helen lands a hook, a right to the midsection, a left the chest—INTERRUPTED by Minhee jamming her glove right into Helen’s nose! She pushes on like a steam engine, brutal hook after hook into Helen’s cheeks and jaw! Helen right back at her with a stomach punch; Minhee seems to crumple for a moment, but stands right back up to hit Helen in the breasts once again! More cries from the British girl being struck as Minhee puts them at the center of the ring! Flanagan with another left that catches Minhee, back to work and going for multiple body shots! Minhee lowering her gloves slowly…but still manages to aim her right for Helen’s chin, as another wonderful uppercut!! Minhee swinging at her and landing; it’s now Helen in the corner! Minhee gets a few more to the ribs—Helen with a blood-spilling hook, she moves into secure the kill—HAYMAKER!! Minhee bounces right back in, heavy hit after heavy hit as she makes Helen bruised up once more! Blood flying from her right cross, stomach bruising from her lefts! Helen launches a left—MINHEE DUCKS IT AND UPPERCUTS HER RIGHT IN THE JAW! Helen’s eyes roll up and she collapses onto the floor in a mess! Minhee charging back to her corner, eagerly waiting. Ref counting…he’s up to 3, no response—no, wait! Helen’s stirring!! She’s pushing herself up as hard as she can, struggling and gritting her teeth while sweat runs down her face! She gets on a knee, slowly coming up, but she takes another fall flat on her face! The counts at 7, she crawls to the ropes for support, but she’s just too far! Eight! Nine—she clutches on, but the count hits TEN and Helen collapses! A knockout end to a brutal contest! KO6 Joo Minhee!

AFTER: Minhee at the center of the ring, bouncing high into the air and cheering as the crowd praises the stable both girls belong to with a chant of “S-I-A! S-I-A!” Minhee bowing politely for a moment, then blowing kisses in every direction she can to the adoring crowd! She’s very, VERY proud of this victory, but it doesn’t take a genius to tell you that!

Helen finally back to her senses; still beaten, but smiling. “That might’ve been one of the best fights I’ve ever had!” she said, ecstatically. “It’s not to fight a girl who’s not a complete pain in the arse for once and actually puts up a fight without trying to humiliate me…” she says.

“You seriously were my toughest opponent thus far!” Minhee says, giggling despite having seemingly no right to as you look at how hard she got hit. “That round could have ended either way. Welcome to the Sisters-in-Arms!”

“Let’s make sure to give our opponents hell like that in the future instead of each other, yeah?” Helen asks.

Instead of getting a response, she gets a loving hug from her new “sister”. The two raise their gloves in the air to the cheer of the crowd, and walk out together as allies for good this time!
