(Girls Friday vs Free Agent)

Intro:
The opening bout here in Newcastle's City Hall sees Sara Sampaio back on opening duty after main eventing the last Girls Friday event.
Clearly her loss to Krystal Forscutt scared the management of the stable, who have seen fit to put her in a tune up bout.
Sara is still only 25, so has a lot of years on the tank going forwards, her record stands at 3 wins, all by knockout and 1 defeat in her career.
The model goes against a debuting 40 year old Alice Taglioni, the French Actress is mostly known for her parts on French movies but is a stunner who can still get the punters in for looks alone, but has she any talents.

At the media day event at the hall the day before, the girls didn't pay each other much attention as they milled about the room talking to different media sources.
Sara said "I know this is seen as a big demotion, but I have been told; win this fight and the big fights will return again and I plan on dominating this fight"
While Alice had a French translator with her to speak to the media, the translator said "I come to this cold bastion of the north east of your country to fight and win, Sara is good fighter but I trained in the Latin Union (stable) they breed winners and I am one"
Both clear and straight to the point it seems, At the public weigh in, Alice weighed in at 128lbs, while Sara was 122lbs, Alice has the 2 inch height advantage at 5'10.
The staredown at the weigh in was tense, both fiery spirits it seems, especially not helped that Sara loves to come out wearing a Portugal football shirt with Euro 16 on the back in tribute to her team beating France in the finals a year ago.

Which now it's fight night in the city hall, Sara is wearing as she comes down the aisle to the ring, she has Holly Willoughby on trainer duty tonight with Eva Carneiro on cutwoman duty.
The Portuguese girl gets a warm welcome from the fans, the crowd know she's based here when she trains and that helps when you need the raucous Geordie's on your side.
She enters the ring, bowing to each side of the ring to thank the crowd for their support, before Holly helps her take the football top off before Alice sees it.
Sara is wearing her trademark maroon sports bra, work out shorts of the same colour to go with her red gloves and shoes, her long brunette hair is up in a ponytail.
Now it's Alice's turn to enter the aisle to the ring, not much crowd reaction, the crowd seem stunned by the looks of this beauty, eyeing her up to see if she really is 40!
Her and her coach walk down to the ring, not paying much attention to her surroundings, purely focused on business it seems.
Entering the ring, she nods to the crowd, quickly coming to the ring centre, which surprises the referee who was expecting her to warm up.
Alice is wearing a violet sports bra, matching shorts and Purple gloves to go with her shoes, her brunette hair is tied up into a bun.
Sara joins her as the two listen to the referee, waving their arms and bouncing on the spot to keep themselves warmed up.
Asked to touch gloves, no funny business, just a simple touch and jog back to their corners, before the referee waves for the bell to begin 10 rounds of Lightweight boxing.

Round 1:
Off we go, both girls start off quickly, Sara looking to pressure the rookie, dancing on her toes in front of Alice, throwing out her jab as a tester as the bigger girl is missing with her shots.
Sara looks up for this, making Alice look slightly stupid as the lanky fighter can't find her own range it seems, the Portuguese fighter coming in and out of her own range, digging to the body of the French girl with several punches, then taking a clipping shot to the head.
Half way through the round, Alice finally finds her range, using her own jab, she starts rifling her punches into the nose of Sara.
Sara trying to dip down to escape the rifle like shots coming at her head, but Alice just simply throws her shots downwards, cracking Sara to the top of her head.
Looking annoyed that she is suddenly being caught, Sara drives forward to get to the inside, working the body of Alice, trying to force the air from her body.
Alice though shows that she's a big girl alright, shoving Sara back out and cracking her with a right hook to turn her head.
The crowd going "oooh!" As Alice powers forward with piston like punches, Sara covering up as she's forced back around the ring.
Not long left in the round, Sara lands a clipping shot across the jugs of Alice, getting a more irate look from her opponent then really a hurt one.
Alice seems to fight harder, smacking Sara over her guard with a left/right combo, pressing Sara towards the ropes and if not quick movement, Sampaio would be pinned to them.
The bell rings with Sara looking surprised, expecting a blowout but Alice is here to fight, the Girls Friday management smiling at ringside, wanting Sara to prove herself tonight against a girl who isn't afraid of her.
Sara back in her corner, Holly giving her advice, telling her to take this serious, to not back down and other clichés it seems as Eva washes her fighters face.
Alice nods at her coach as the French fighter looks ready to get back out and get at Sara.

Round 2:
Alice looking strong, keeping her feet planted as she sends her shots up top to keep Sara back, Sampaio struggling to find an opening as easily as she did at the start of the first round.
The action heats up as Alice tries to force Sara back, that proves a mistake as she misses and the Portuguese fighter steps to the side and unleashes two hard shots to the side of Taglioni, the sound of leather thudding off her skin is echoing into the front row it seems.
Alice shakes her head, tapping her side, Sara quickly shows she doesn't care about any mind games, just getting back into the face of her opponent.
Both girls brawling in tight, the action becoming heated as both girls try to press each other back, but they are not landing clean shots.
Once again Alice nudges Sara back, landing an uppercut to pressure the smaller fighter back, Sara covering up once again as the French girl comes forward.
Sara surprises Alice with a counter right to her chin after Alice tries to land a sweeping hook up top, Sara forcing two sharp punches to the abs, then landing an overhand right to shake up her opponent.
Looking to power forwards, Sara quickly rushes into the gap between the fighters, continuing to work the body.
Late in the round, Alice finds her base again, shoving Sara back with her left, she lands two straight shots to the nose.
Sara though is right into her face, it's like watching a pitbull at work, she's latching onto her older for with her strikes flurrying out towards the body of Alice.
The bell rings to help Alice get Sara off of her, the girls staring hard at each other as they head back to their corner, both getting cleaned up for the next round.

Round 3:
Alice is quick off the mark to try and force Sara back, knowing she can't let her opponent get in tight as her body already shows with some red marks covering different parts.
Sara dancing on her toes, looking more composed this round then last, even as she takes some straight long range shots to her face.
But Alice is being effective in keeping the fight at distance, working behind her long punches, she is stepping back when Sara makes a move.
The action seems to slow down as the fight starts to resemble a chess match, one makes a move and the other reacts to try and land something meaningful.
Alice catches Sara with a right to the top of her head, the French fighter sees her chance and tries to power on to hurt Sampaio.
But Sara moves out the way of the charging big girl, ducking under two shots then comes back up with an uppercut that knocks Alice's head back.
The big girl covering up and Sara throws wide hooks, smacking her fists into the ribs of Taglioni, hurting her as she presses her back to the ropes.
Alice desperate to fight back, throwing wild shot that do force Sara back, the inexperience of the French actress is showing itself as she leaves herself open.
Sara lands a hard right to the stomach of Alice, her body seems to slump forward, Sampaio going for the finish, pounding away at the guard of her.
The bell rings with Sara insulting Alice in her native tongue, Alice clearly knowing it is as she replies in French, the two look upset with each other as they head back to their corners.
Alice rubbing her stomach, wincing as her coach tries to dull the pain with ice packs, Sara just stares over at her, hungry to end this fight when she gets the chance.

Round 4:
Alice is staying strong, not letting herself feel hurt, instead trying to shove Sara back with her own attacks, she sends a three punch combo up top, the last punch hits as a left hook sneaks around Sampaio's guard.
Sara dances away from Alice, plotting when she can strike as the slower Alice comes for her, but can not land anything to hurt her.
Now the crowd can see how badly hurt Alice was in the last round to the body, she's not able to catch Sara with more than glancing blows, the younger fighter moving herself too fast for the bigger girl to react too.
Sara bobs and weaves forward till she gets to mid range and lands just left hooks to the body, Alice groans but tries to stay upright, throwing two straight punches to try and catch her but finds air.
A cruel smile is forming on Sara's face, her gears in her mind are turning quickly as she faints with a right to land a left to the body again.
Alice gasps and as much as she tries to mask her pain, it is cracking as she grimaces and Sara drives forwards to force Taglioni to have to fight in tight.
The girls slugging it out, it's clear that all the power and speed is in Sara's hands, banging away at the French girl to force her backwards.
Alice clinches up with Sara, Sampaio screaming at her in Portuguese, wanting to be free so she can hurt her badly.
The referee separates the girls and orders "fight" Sara rushing to try and get at Alice and getting caught with a right cross that wards her back with only a few seconds left of the round.
Alice ending the round with a double jab landing to prove she hopes that she is still in this, Sara scowls at her, wanting to keep going.
The girls head back to their corners, Alice is looking run down from all the body shots and her own missed punches, she is looking at her coach, looking for an answer to her problems.
Sara is standing in her corner, her eyes not leaving Alice as Holly tries to calm her down, get her temper into an acceptable zone, a few marks on her body but not much for her to worry about.

Round 5:
Out come the fighters, Alice trying to fight from a defensive posture, sending out jabs and straights to try and keep Sara off her till her breath comes back fully or she catches her opponent with something.
But Sara is starting to understand where she can target her, she looks like she's going to go one way, then quickly cuts back and lands another left to the body of Alice, who groans out and tries to retreat.
Sara won't let her escape that easily, pinning Alice to the ropes, pounding away at the sides of Alice, who groans out in pain.
Alice goes down! She takes a knee and shoves Sara back, the Portuguese girl putting her arms out to the side as if to say "is that all you've got" before heading to a neutral corner.
The referee begins counting, Alice looking up, sucking in air as she tries to recover, maybe she thinks to herself before getting up at 9 to beat the count.
After being checked on, Alice is asked if she wants to continue, she nods at the referee and the fight is on again.
Alice trying to fight back, she comes forward, knowing sitting back won't help her, but she gets catch quite quickly to her cheek with a right hook that stuns her.
Several body shots slam right into her abs and Alice is knocked onto the ropes, her arms looking low as she isn't throwing anything back.
The referee getting involved to pull Sara off Alice and then waves the fight off as Alice lays onto the ropes, sitting on the middle rope and red faced as she tries to get her air back.

Winner: Sara Sampaio TKO Round 5

After:
The referee checks on Alice, but gets nudges aside as Sara gets into her face, telling her "I beat you bytch, don't f*** with me"
She gets pulled back by Holly, Sara almost starts pulling herself from her stablemate, till she realises who is holding her.
Calming down, Sara nods at Holly; who smiles and hugs her as Alice is helped to her stool in the background, her own eyes not leaving these two, upset losing to this bytch she thinks to herself.
The crowd cheer Sara as she struts around the ring, stopping in front of Alice to give her a smug look of superiority.
The French girl holding her stomach as she catches her breath, staring defiantly at Sara, mouthing "s***" which makes Sampaio smile even wider as she jogs to the ring centre.
Getting her hand raised, she stares over at Alice the whole time, rubbing this victory in as Alice's coach helps her out the ring, the crowd ignoring her as she goes.
Sara goes over to Holly in her corner, a quick chat as the two laugh and joke, the cameras don't catch what about but the crowd can guess what it is.
Leaving the ring, Sara waves to the crowd with a wide grin, hoping this is her chance to get back into the conversation of top fighters in the lightweight division.
