(Girls Friday vs Free Agent)

Intro:
The main event of this two fight card in Paris's AccorHotels Arena sees the French bantamweight title be defended as champion Clara Morgane vs Lorie Pester in the challengers first bout.
The champion Clara has held the title for several years, but officially this will be her first defence as the title was put into retirement for several years ago and questions have been asked why is it back now?
Clara answers that as the girls stand by the French Rivera in Nice to do the press event, she says "I asked the BBU if the title could be reinstated, why you ask? Simple; I never got a chance to defend this belt and I want to right that wrong"
She admits "this belt isn't a major belt, the actual BBU bantamweight title is what I want, but this is a title that could grow amongst our people to mean greatness and bring a new generation on once I'm retired"
The 36 year old comes into this fight with a record of 19 wins, 18 by knockout and 8 losses, so she isn't exactly high on Lorie's chances.
Telling her to her face, "just so we are clear, you are not taking this and you are not the new generation" lifting the belt up to show her what she won't be having if she has her way.
Lorie doesn't look too bothered by Clara, the singer smirking in reply as she turns away to ignore the model and replies "I know everyone has their money on Clara to beat me, but I did spend over a year training in the Latin Union, sadly they couldn't find me a fight"
The 34 year old laughs as she tells the media "now though I have a fight with a w****, I never expected that!"
Clara of course doesn't take that, passing her title to a guy to the side, she slaps Lorie, who staggers back a step and finds her hair being tugged.
Lorie starts to fight back as the girls tug each other around in a small circle, little bits of hair being pulled out as security struggles to separate the pair.
Marching off and mumbling, Lorie turns around and says "of course a s*** like you would do that!" With Clara having to be held back before she can get her hands on her.

Fight night, the challenger is out first dancing on her toes at the entrance of the aisle, the crowd buzzing for this fight as the girl from Le Plessis-Bouchard.
Jogging down to the ring with her coach standing already down next to the ring, she is wearing a white sports bra with a small French flag badge on her right side, she has white trunks to go with trunks and shoes, while her long blonde mane is tied back into a sleek ponytail.
Entering the ring, she bounces on her toes, waving to the crowd as she heads to her corner, she looks excited by this chance in her first fight.
But now the champ appears, Clara from Marseille looks totally focused, her coach Taryn Terrell is by her side for this fight as they start to walk down to the ring.
She's wearing a light blue sports bra that has a French Flag badge on the left side and a Marseille football badge on the right side that people in the crowd will most likely boo if they see it, she completes the look with a light blue trunks, gloves and shoes as her hair is braided for this fight.
Climbing into the ring, she has Taryn hold the beautiful French belt up, it's blue strap holding a stunning silver face belt with the French flag in the center.
The referee takes the belt, showing Lorie the title in her corner, she puts her right glove on the title, staring at it and whispering "you'll be mine soon" then the ref goes to the ring centre and shows it to the crowd to a loud cheer.
After the belt is taken out the ring to the time keepers area, the girls are ushered to the ring centre, both go nose to nose, trying to psyche each other out as they don't blink, just look deep into each others piercing eyes, the crowd not exactly silent but they intently watch this staredown with interest.
Asked to touch gloves, the girls swipe at each others gloves and head back quickly to their corners as the volume in the arena rises again.
The referee watches to make sure that everything is set, then signals for the bell to begin 10 rounds of French bantamweight championship boxing action.

Round 1:
Off we go, Lorie keeping her distance from the get go, the power punching of Clara is legendary in France it seems and it seems that Pester will prefer to use her height advantage and her longer legs to keep the distance.
The girls trading at range, Clara keeping her guard tight as Lorie dances around her, the champ is plotting behind that guard as she's getting peppered with jabs.
The older blonde Clara takes the punches and as she times Lorie's strikes, she parries a right to step in and bang away to the body of Lorie with a three punch combo.
Lorie surprisingly takes it well it seems, pushing Clara back and quickly stepping forward to land a right hook and suddenly the action is heating up.
Maybe Lorie thinks she can take the power of the champ, but as the fighters start trading, Clara makes sure to use this to get in tight.
Now Lorie is feeling the full power of Morgane, the champion using her raw power to drive the challenger backwards onto her heels.
Pester's coach is screaming for her to move away, "don't let her crowd you!" He shouts as Lorie does her best to throw a three punch combo up top to create that space, the coach visibly sighing.
The girls dance around each other, Clara smirking as she keeps herself tight to protect herself from Lorie, but she is struggling to catch the energetic singer.
There's a slight boo from the crowd as the girls work each other out it seems, Lorie looking on top as the action stays at her range.
Not long left in the round, Lorie let's her hands go with two hooks that land around the guard, her face lighting up as she comes onto the attack.
But Clara shows her veteran instinct, moving ducking a follow up left hook and coming back up to land a hard overhand right that turns Lorie's head to the side.
The bell rings before Clara can push on, Lorie with the better work rate shouldn't look to down, Clara though landing the better punches looks confident, that beautiful smile greets Taryn.
Who is telling her "don't lose focus, Lorie is an unknown, the last thing you want to do is give her a major upset win babe" Clara nodding but still grinning.

Round 2:
The girls come out, Lorie still on her toes, she seems up for this as she dances around Clara, who is keeping herself on the defensive.
The pundits at ringside are wondering when Clara will strike, Lorie keeping on the outside as the girls exchange single punches, the singer landing the cleaner when she can get through the guard.
Lorie spots Clara's eyes light up and as Morgane looks to finally strike, Pester lands a straight through an opening and surprises the model by following up with two more punches straight through the guard of Clara to push her back a step.
Suddenly Lorie is looking like she's the champion, freeing her hands up as she sends a flurry of punches towards the head of the real champion.
Clara though takes the punches and after parrying a left cross, she is back into her groove, slamming hooks up top, she drives a stunned Pester back.
Down goes Lorie! Her legs turned to jelly and now she's sitting on her behind, shaking her head looking shocked at the turn of events.
The referee begins his count, Lorie recovering quite well, even Clara looks surprised that her rookie opponent is up at 8.
The crowd cheer both girls on as the action starts up once more, Clara trying to hunt down Lorie, who is fighting onto her heels.
Lorie clinches up smartly with Clara, the model trying to get her opponent off of her, but saves her energy when she realises it won't be that easy, forcing the referee to get involved to pry them apart.
The girls start trying at mid range as Lorie tries to get her feet under her, not looking as springy in her movements, but now trying to plant her feet more to stop an onslaught from the champ.
As the round is coming to an end, Clara manages to get inside again to land two body shows to Lorie's abs, the challenger groaning but lands a clipping shot to the top of Clara's head to knock her off her rhythm.
The bell rings to end the round not long after and Clara looks at Lorie with a mixture of annoyance and a little respect, she thought she'd have bulldoze her by now.
Lorie doesn't look at her, instead heading back to her corner with a slight look of worry, her coach telling her to shake the knock down out her head.

Round 3:
Off they go again, Clara trying to hunt Lorie down early in the round, but finds herself being caught with straight punches.
The girls trading on the outside as Clara has to settle back once more, Pester surprising the pundits at ringside by making a fight of this and if not for that disaster in the last round, she might actually be winning this fight.
The crowd cheering loudly again as the girls exchange a flurry of punches, Lorie trying to match Clara's power, but as she finds, she just can't do that as she ends up being pressed back.
Thinking quickly on her feet, she parries a right cross from Clara and counters with a hard right to the nose of Morgane, a small trickle of blood from the nose of the champion surprises the crowd.
Clara keeping herself calm though, waving Lorie to bring it, which gets a look of shock from the challenger, the champion coming forwards again.
Lorie forced to regain her focus as Clara is getting to the inside, powering her backwards; Lorie digs away as best she can into the body of her opponent to try and keep her back.
The girls stand and trade, punches becoming scuffy as they try to control each other, before it ends with them clinched up, Clara's head nearly clashing with Lorie's nose.
The referee separates both girls, giving Lorie time to try and get space, but Clara continues to press forwards, the girls exchanging single punches over each others guard.
The round is coming to an end as Lorie pierces the guard of Clara with a stiff jab and lands two body shots to show she is far from done.
Clara standing her ground now with wide hooks to ward off Lorie, the girls circling till the bell rings, each stares the other down before turn to their corners.
Taryn's upset with Clara, berating her on her lack of focus, but Clara replies "she's not that bad I'll admit, but I'm the champ for a reason OK?" Making her coach shake her head.
In the other corner, Lorie and her coach look calm, he is going through what she needs to do now and she appears to be a willing listener, is it going to be enough to dethrone the champion?

Round 4:
Some fans are beginning to go to Lorie's side in this fight, she looks to continue upsetting the odds as she dances around Clara.
The champ starting to be forced to cover up and fight off the back foot, Lorie gaining confidence behind her jab.
She is attacking the ribs of Clara around her guard, looking like she's ready to tee off on the champion, bouncing up on her toes as she goes.
Clara fires out the pocket though with two hooks that Lorie just about gets out the way of, a big reminder there that Pester has to be careful not to get caught.
Again the singer targets the nose of Morgane, trying to do some serious damage to end this, Clara starting to look frustrated by her lack of success since round two.
Lorie goes for a right hook though and just misses, leaving the door open for an angry Clara to step into with a barrage of punches flying.
This is the worse cause scenario for Lorie, her head is being knocked backwards and a vicious right hook to her temple puts her down again!
Her fans groan; she was doing so well, now though she's on her side, eyes shut but can be heard groaning in pain.
The referee is counting her out and as she fights to get back up, it turns into a losing battle as the shot has her nightly dazed and as she falls back down to the canvas after an attempt to get up, the referee reaches 10 to end this fight.

Winner: Clara Morgane KO Round 4

After:
Clara looks to the ceiling, looking surprisingly relieved that she kept her title in a fight that she was odds on favourite to win.
But Lorie gave her a bigger fight then anyone expected, the crowd giving both girls a round of applause for a good if not spectacular fight.
Clara surprises the crowd by helping Lorie up to her feet, maybe as a sign of respect, though cameras catch Morgane say into the ear of Pester "good attempt, but you don't belong in my ring"
Lorie replies "f*** you, you know I had you outclassed, you got lucky" the girls cheek to cheek as they insult each other.
Clara ends their "discussion" by saying "then come find me again when you are up to my class" before patting Lorie on her swollen cheek and nodding at her, clearly under the hateful feelings they have for each other, they have respect as Lorie nods back at her.
The referee gets between both girls and the result is announced with Lorie looking at the canvas, before she heads off to leave the ring with her coach staying close to her since she's still a little unsteady.
While Clara gets her title belt back and raises it up to the crowd, who roar but not for her, it's a possible future opponent entering the ring behind her.
Taryn pointing at Marion Cotillard, who won the opening bout of tonight makes Clara turn around and both girls are in their fighting attire to make this interesting for journalists and camera crews.
The girls go nose to nose, no words exchanged as the girls just stare each other down, cameramen rush into the ring to capture this historic moment.
Clara lifts the title up in her left hand and now both girls exchange not so pleasure words, before they separate with Marion smirking as she lifts her arms up to a loud cheer.
The hometown girl saying to Clara "you'll never be loved like I am" getting one hell of a stare from the champ, the saying if looks could kill fits the bill is perfect right about now.
Clara storms out the ring upset that she's been upstaged, while Marion struts around the ring, even waving Clara to come back for whatever reason (most likely not an apology)
In the back, Clara tells journalists wanting a word after that historic moment in celeb French boxing "what is it with bytches getting in my business, first Mel B got in my face after I beat her precious stablemate Jessica Schwarz, now I have to deal with that stuck up skank?"
Holding her bely up for the camera, she continues "Marion, you want that big money fight between us, two superstars of this country going to war for pride and titles, well you may have to wait"
The journalists mumbling to each other as Clara continues "I have a small problem to deal with first, Cardiff, just me and you Melanie Brown in the ring, up for it or happy hiding outside the ring where it's nice and cosy hmm?"
She finishes with "then I take you down Marion, back here; in Marseille, I honestly don't care, I just want to knock my issues out if you know what I mean" then she storms off to her locker room for tonight, to change, pack her stuff up and leave Paris as she can't be bothered to stay around here when she can head home to Marseille, will she sort her "problems" out soon though?
