Michelle Keegan (Beevers Babes) v Cassie Scerbo (Bazz Fight Club)

29 year old Michelle has had a tough run lately, losing to Ashley Benson in her last fight, and now she fights 26 year old former champion Cassie, who never fails to give good value.

The girls are in the ring, with the taller Michelle in a skimpy white vest top and gold pants, and Cassie in an orange sports bra and pants.

Round 1

Michelle’s hit her straps early, and she’s caught Cassie with a left jab and a right cross in the opening minute, the smaller girl needing to be quicker than she is at this stage, or face obliteration, as Michelle’s clearly right on form, and she hits Cassie again, this time with a right hook, and Cassie stagger a little, then covers, Michelle unloading on her body, hard punches which are going to sap Cassie’s energy, although she’s not using much energy right now, just covering up and more or less letting Michelle hit her arms and gloves, with the occasional shot getting through to her body, and she clinches and holds, letting Michelle have a couple of hooks to her face as the referee breaks them, by no means accepting her position as victim, although she’s lost round one.

Round 2

Michelle’s ready to fight again in round two, and she dishes Cassie some good left jabs, smacking the smaller girl’s head backwards, but Cassie’s giving her some back this time, dipping inside Michelle’s reach and landing to her body, then getting smartly out of range, but Michelle’s closing her down, giving her a few solid shots again, and pinning her, only briefly though, to the ropes and unloading a few hooks on her face until she is able to clinch, and she does well from the break to hit Michelle to her ribs and flanks, the Brit backing off, only to come back in the closing seconds witha lovely combination, jab, cross, jab, and Cassie’s looking sad at the bell.

Round 3

Once again, the round begins with Michelle on the attack, and she’s bopped Cassie backwards again with a couple of solid jabs, the smaller girl backing away, but this time she doesn’t go all the way to the ropes – she stops and hits Michelle back, two good punches to her midsection, then and uppercut to her tits, and it’s Michelle backing off now, with Cassie giving her some heavy work to her body, but she stands firm and trades, gets the better of Cassie in that exchange, but Cassie covers up neatly, and when Michelle comes in close enough, she gives her a peachy uppercut to the chin, and staggers her, Michelle falling backwards to the ropes, where Cassie beats her to face and body for the final few seconds of the round.

Round 4

Michelle’s a little shaky on her feet, and Cassie comes at her really quickly, and she brings the bigger girls guard down with some ripping punches to her body, Michelle squealing a little there now, and she finds Cassie’s gloves thudding into her face, hurting her, and making her cover up, but she needs to clinch rather than cover, because Cassie’s all over her, crashing punches into Michelle’s body again, then her face, and Michelle’s staggered, goes back to the ropes again, and ducks into a right hook – that’s cut her eye open – making her cover again, and this time she’s able to hold, bullies Cassie a little by leaning into her, and she hits her a few time before the bell ends round four, Michelle’s left eyebrow seeping blood.

Round 5

Cassie hits Michelle to the body in the first few seconds, brings her gloves down, and reopens her cut eye very quickly, Michelle backing off, finds Cassie following in, looking to finish her off one way or another maybe, but Michelle stands and punches back at the smaller girl, who hasn’t got close enough to land her own punches, only to get nailed by Michelle’s and she’s eating plenty of leather from the Brit, who’s looking like she’s recovered from the battering she too in the fourth, as she lands a solid left jab and right hook combination, Cassie hurt there, and another big right hook puts Cassie down on her backside! Cassie gets to her feet at 6, but Michelle’s got the ball back in her court now, and she’s revelling in the situation, ignoring the blood trickling down her cheek as she batters Cassie in her own Bazz Fight Club corner, the smaller girl looking sorry at the bell.

Round 6

Michelle greets Cassie with a lovely one-two, and starts to drive her backwards, but Cassie stands her ground well, clinches and halts Michelle’s progress, reacting more quickly than the bigger girl when the referee has broken them, and she slips Michelle a good shot to her midriff to make her back off. Now Cassie comes forwards, and it’s Michelle defending, Cassie opening that eyebrow up again, but Michelle hits her more than Cassie wants to take, and she backs off now, her left cheek bruised and swelling, Michelle tucking in with a left jab, and another, looking for room to land her right hook again, but she walks right into a left cross and a straight right, and now Cassie has Michelle rocking backwards, hits her hard with a left hook to her body, and it’s Michelle ending this round backed into a corner, and she has another cut, this time to her left cheek, and the Brit looks a mess right now as the round ends.

Round 7

Cassie’s all over Michelle in the opening exchanges, really letting fly with right hooks to her bleeding cheek and eyebrow, and she hurts her with a couple of heavy left hooks to her body, but Michelle hits back with a left jab and right cross, retreats when Cassie hooks her to the body again, and backs into the ropes, Cassie getting through with more punches, Michelle’s face smeared in her own blood, Cassie sensing victory maybe, drilling Michelle to the ribs, hooking her to the jaw, but leaving herself vulnerable, and Michelle lands three sweet punches on her in a row, rocking her backwards, her defensive gloves flapping, and Michelle gets her again, landing a solid right hook on Cassie’s ear, and she’s down. Michelle stands back as Cassie starts to get back up, and smiles broadly when the smaller girl can’t make it, falling backwards as the referee gives her a 10 count.

Result: Michelle Keegan knocked out Cassie Scerbo in round 7.

That was a tough fight, and Cassie could have won it, but didn’t, Michelle maybe just having too much for her on the night, but the girls have their arms around one another afterwards, showing each other respect.
