Kendall Jenner versus Kelly Brook
(Written by Girls Friday/Results by Lookout!)
(Girls Friday vs This is Glamour)
Intro:
Two models do battle tonight as Kendall Jenner steps into the ring for
the second time this month to take on the stunning Kelly Brook.
Kendall is 21 years old, 5'10 1/2 and holds a record of 8 wins, all by
knockout and 2 defeats, she is the first ever New Blood lightweight
champion and is now a guest fighter of the Girls Friday stable.
Kelly meanwhile is 36 years old, 5'8 and holds a record of 38 wins, 27
by knockout, 55 losses and 5 draws, she is also a former Queen of the
Ice Hotel champion and a two time lightweight champion.
Coming together for the press conference, the girls looked calm,
looking each other up and down as this was the first real good look of
each other they were getting, inside they hated to admit that they
couldn't fault each other, though they were polar opposites.
Kendall lanky and more toned then physical imposing muscle wise, Kelly
curvy yet fit after years of training in gyms and fights in the ring.
Both girls are led to their tables, Kendall told she is to speak first
and as always she looks calm and collected as she talks.
"So I've just had under a month of training at the GF gym, the North
East of England is certainly an experience, it has been fun going
somewhere different then I'm used too and the stable members have
taken me as one of their own, mostly because I know several of them
from Victoria Secret shows we did together" says Kendall with a warm
smile as she thinks back to her first day at the gym.
"But it's back to fighting in the ring for me, as I'll keep saying
till I'm blue in the face, this is my year, that ring is my house and
whether it be friend or foe I face in that ring, I am going to upset
the establishment and those who look down on me" continues Kendall as
she closes her fists without realising it, clearly still feeling like
the world is against her.
Though that changes when Melanie Sykes, who'd been sitting at the
table, takes one of her fighters hands and gets her attention, as
Kendall sees a friendly face instead of the ones she'd love to punch,
she relaxes again.
Turning to Kelly, she finishes by saying "no hard feelings Kelly, but
I have to put on a show and against a former champion like you, a win
is a must to keep me on the road to better things in my career"
Kelly has been smiling through all the speech of her opponent, even
talking to her own manager Melinda Messenger, who stares over at
Melanie once in awhile, trying to work her out it seems.
"Listen Kendall, I think it is admirable what you want to achieve, I
came into the FCBA when I was only 22, I fought Liz Hurley and she
kicked my ass" says Kelly, surprising some with her start of her
speech.
Continuing with "but I kept on fighting, if I lost, I got up; dusted
myself off and went back and kicked the bytches ass who beat me, all
the while being called not good enough, that is till I became a
champion"
Kendall looks interested in what Kelly is saying, till the older woman
says "so trust me, I've went through what you have, except I'm better
than you, see I didn't tell people what they should think, I did it in
the ring with my actions"
That brings a scowl from Kendall, then one from Melanie as Kelly
finishes by saying "I don't know what fairy tails that Mel is telling
you, me and Melinda see right through you both, when I beat your arse
in that ring, don't go whining OK?"
Kendall looks about to jump Kelly, but Melanie holds her arm, leaning
in and whispering something to the youngster, it seems to calm Jenner
down, while Melanie turns her focus to Melinda, both older heads
trying to wire each other up it seems, maybe wondering how the other
will affect the fight with the advice they give the fighters.
Both brunettes do a final face to face for the cameras, Kendall
looking serious as her eyes burn a hole through Kelly's, while Kelly
simply smiles, maybe trying to get into her opponents head or maybe
she is underestimating her.
We'll find out when these two actually fight, for now both are led off
stage by their managers to go through tape on the other.
Fight night, out comes Kendall first with Melanie Sykes and Eva
Carneiro by her side, she looks at the fans with a warm smile on her
face, after banging her gloves together to psyche herself up, she
struts down to the ring.
Tonight she's wearing her white sports bra, white trunks with "Queen"
in gold letters on her waistband with a black GF badge on her left
leg, red gloves and white shoes to complete her attire.
Entering the ring, she raises her fists to the roof as she bounces on
her toes and shouts "come on!" To the crowd, who stand and cheer her,
before she heads to her corner.
Now Kelly comes out, she has Melinda Messenger by her side, the blonde
standing to her side, both grinning as the crowd cheer and
wolfwhistles both of them, before they start to head down to the ring.
She's wearing a black sports bra, figure hugging shorts with "brook"
in white letters on the back of the shorts, black gloves with white
thumbs and black shoes.
Climbing into the ring, she blows kisses to her fans, who look excited
to see her, heading to her corner, she blows a kiss at Kendall and
winks at her, trying to get under the skin of her opponent
But as the girls head to the ring centre, it's clear that it isn't
working as Kendall stands looking focused, just staring at the smiling
Kelly.
The referee finishes his instructions and asks for a touch of gloves,
as Kelly is about to bump with Kendall, her face turns to shock when
Kendall suddenly with great speed, moves her gloves above Kelly's and
bangs them downwards.
Kendall quickly turns and jogs to her corner as Kelly mumbles under
her breath an insult, wanting to punish Kendall for that show of
disrespect, even if she started it before they even stepped into the
ring.
The referee doesn't care about any of the fighters games, all he cares
about is getting this fight going, signalling for the bell to ring to
start 10 rounds of lightweight action.
Round 1:
Off we go, Kendall up on her toes, throwing testing jabs to the tight
guard of the more flat footed Kelly, who looks to be stalking her
younger opponent already around the canvas.
The girls trading single shots in the ring centre, Kendall looking
confident as she moves around the ring on those long legs, trying to
keep the distance.
But Kelly spots an opening, barrelling forwards into Kendall, then
once she has the range she wants, she begins to hammer in body shots
to try and wear out Kendall right from the start.
The younger brunette grunts, but takes a big enough step back to
create a little space, leading to the two fighters trading near the
ropes where the judges table is.
The crowd cheering both girls on, but it's not long till Kelly parries
a right hand from Kendall and gets back in tight.
Punches slam into the sides of Kendall's body, pounding her flanks as
she looks to drive her backwards, Kendall covering up as best she can
at first, till she takes too many punches for her liking and grabs
onto Kelly to clinch up.
The referee watches both grapple as they look to prove whose stronger,
judging by the few steps she forces her opponent back, Kelly looks the
stronger with her build fuelling this power.
The girls are pulled apart and Kendall is quick to get into space,
using her jab to keep Kelly back, her mind is racing as Kelly keeps OK
coming forwards to try and corner her.
A tight exchange forced by Kelly forces Kendall to plant her feet,
Kendall throwing more punches, but Kelly landing the harder punches
early in this fight.
Kendall has to fight on her back foot till she finds a moment to
sidestep Kelly and rifle a double jab to the side of Brook's head.
Time ticking away in the round, Kelly looks to keep on top of Kendall,
but the youngster seems to have regained her footing, dancing around
the more static Kelly and snapping that jab out that Brook mostly
blocks.
That changes as the final seconds of the round tick away, Kendall
landing two hooks to the body of Kelly, who grunts loudly, shoving
Kendall back to get her off her and then coming forwards to land a
right cross to the cheek of Jenner.
The bell rings before they can do much more to each other, neither
looks at each other at the bell, trying to keep themselves calm after
the negative feelings both has started to feel for the other in the
build up, they jog back to their corners to be cleaned up and their
coaches for tonight are whispering into their ears advice for the
coming rounds.
Round 2:
Both girls come out now armed with what to expect from the other,
Kelly clearly feeling she can bulldozer Kendall over, continues with
her rampaging straight forwards attack.
The girls trade at midrange as Kendall fights on the back foot,
seemingly letting herself go backwards in these exchanges.
But that changes when she blocks a straight from Kelly, then throws a
quick fire right through to the nose of Kelly, whose head tilts back
slightly.
Before Kelly knows it, Kendall is slamming hooks to her body, backing
up the older fighter under a quick fire barrage that is causing her to
gasp.
Kendall though is too focused on hurting Kelly, who uses her veteran
instinct to grab onto the American and pulls her towards the ropes as
she moves around.
Now with Kendall on the ropes, Kelly begins pumping her fists at the
face of her opponent, who can only cover up at the moment till she
lands another straight; this time to the lips of Kelly to give herself
a chance to break off the ropes and take a breath.
Both go back to single punches around the others guard, till maybe
seeing a tell in her opponent's eyes, Kendall deftly steps back out
the way of a wild right hook attempt and then steps back in to land
two of her own to Kelly's face.
The English fighters head turns side to side and she's being pressed
back by her opponent to the delight of Kendall fans, while Kelly's
fans will her to fight back.
Kelly does manage to plant her feet again and land two hooks to the
body of Kendall to stop the assault, but as she starts fighting on the
front foot again, cameras catch that she has a cut on the bridge of
her nose.
Kendall moves back a few quick steps to create the space she needs
again, while Kelly tries to power on behind her little success moments
ago.
It leads to another hard exchange near the ring centre, both gritting
their teeth as they trade hard straight shots, Kelly again looking
like she's getting the better of these exchanges.
That is till Kendall moves a step back as Kelly loads up a right
straight, the Brit just missing and then she takes a right hook that
turns her head again.
Kelly is tough but even she knows she can't keep getting suckered in
like that as the bell rings with her covering up.
Again there is no interaction between the fighters, they are desperate
for the win it seems more then thinking of anything else, though as
Kelly gets her nose worked on to stop the bleeding, she scowls over at
Kendall, thinking of paying her back.
Round 3:
Kendall looking to keep on top of Kelly, flicking her jab out to
measure her opponent up as she moves around her with ease it seems.
Kelly continuing to try and walk her down, but she's getting caught
around her guard, Kendall throwing multiple combos to rattle the
English fighter and Brook's fans are getting worried for her.
It looks worse for her when she misses an overhand right, Kendall
steps back in to dig two shots to the stomach of Kelly to wind her
enough to force her to cover up.
Kendall looking to power on, slams several straight punches that Kelly
just about blocks, the youngster switching to hooks to the side of the
body.
Kelly in desperation though powers forwards, knowing she has to fight
hard to stop Kendall just over running her.
The fighters are forced tightly together, exchanging thudding shots
till Kelly clinches with Kendall, the girls slip a few shots to the
others kidney area, before the referee comes to pry the girls apart.
Kelly is quick to get back into Kendall's face, forcing the girls to
fight in tight once more, this time though Brook adds two hard shots
up top to turn the head of her opponent.
The crowd is getting rowdy, chanting for both girls as they hammer
each other up top, Kelly while her nose is starting to bleed worse,
still has some real sting behind her punches.
Kendall had to retreat and cover up as Kelly powers on forwards, the
girls fighting hard around the ring, but Kelly is landing more
punches.
The bell rings before she can do any real damage, though as Kendall
lifts her guard down, her left eye looks a little swollen.
Back to their corners they go, both scowling across the ring at each
other as their corner team's go to work, Kelly and Melinda having a
long talk in her corner as they go through tactics.
Round 4:
Out come the girls to the ring center, even though there is still
several rounds to go, Kelly looks slightly desperate to win and not
let this go the distance.
The girls trading at mid range, Kendall trying to keep the distance
between them, but Kelly is swinging hard punches forwards.
Closing the distance quickly and forcing Kendall onto her heels as the
girls trade in tight, it's clear though that Kelly is pounding Kendall
back and for the first time since round 1, Kendall is being really
hammered back.
The youngster trying her best to cover up, Kelly just keeps coming
forwards, pounding the arms of Kendall, then getting her head forwards
to pin the guard of Kendall and starts teeing off with hooks around to
the flanks of Kendall's body.
Kendall is groaning loudly, as her eyes shut in pain, being pressed
onto a set of ropes doesn't help her predicament as Kelly does her
best to keep Jenner pinned on the ropes.
Knowing she now has to fight her way off the ropes, Kendall getting
stuck in to try and find a way off the ropes, the action heating up as
the girls hammer away at each other.
Till Kendall finds an opening to clinch up with Kelly, a look of
frustration washes over the face of the English girl, the referee
needing to get between them before Kelly tries to shove Kendall
through the ropes by the look of it.
Separated, Kendall gets into space with Kelly trying to close her down
quickly once more, the girls throwing single shots as they move around
the ring till the bell ends the round.
Kelly looking slightly happier, but she still needs Melinda to clean
her nose up, blood still trickling down it, while Kendall lookin to
the ceiling till Melanie tells her to look at her.
Melanie tells Kendall "just shake it off OK? This is your moment, you
have me and the girls behind you back in the locker room, so go out
and kick her ass!"
Round 5:
The girls come out looking straight to go for each other it seems, but
as they look about to clash in tight, Kendall surprises Kelly by
dodging out the way of a right hook to the body, then she pounds her
own right straight into the nose of Kelly.
Kelly let's out a startled yelp, but keeps coming forwards, though she
looks to have lost her focus as Kendall has an opening, rifling her
straight punches into that cut on her nose.
Soon Kelly's nostrils are trickling blood and the woman who was almost
blindly attack from rage has to go on the defensive, covering up as
Kendall works her own way forwards.
Almost dancing around the older fighter now is Kendall, sending a
testing jab out first and when it hits an arm, she quickly looks for a
hole in the defence and slings her hooks into it.
Maybe out of spite, Kendall lands two jug busting hooks to either
side, getting a yelp from Kelly as Melinda screams at Jenner in not
flatting terms.
Kendall doesn't care as she quickly steps out the way of two lunging
hooks from Kelly, then peppers that cut with a double jab to upset the
Glamour corner even more.
Kelly almost looks close to tears, blood is running down her face from
that cut, Kendall's gloves colour masks most of the blood stains on
them, but she is cruelly taking this former champion apart.
Doing her best to fight back, Kelly lands two body shots, but eats an
uppercut that straightens her up and rocks her backwards.
Kendall looks to end this and if not for Kelly latching on in a
clinch, this fight may well have been over, the fans of Kendall
certainly think so as they chant her name.
The referee pulling both girls apart and waving for the fight to
continue, Kendall landing two stinging jabs to each cheek of Kelly.
Who is in two minds whether to attack or defend herself, such is the
situation she finds herself in as Kendall just seems too quick for her
and her punches seem to be laser guided now.
With the round coming to an end, Kelly does manage to get in tight,
but where she was dictating these exchanges, now Kendall is sneaking
shots to that cut and it's knocking the head of Kelly back.
The bell rings to end the round, Kelly rubs her nose and shakes her
head as she returns to her corner, for the first time in the fight,
Kendall stands and watches her with a smile.
Both girls getting cleaned up, but Kelly doesn't seem interested in
looking at Kendall now, instead complaining to Melinda that this
wasn't the way it was supposed to be.
Round 6:
Off they go again, though it's clear that Kelly is hurting, Kendall
picking her punches around her as they fight near the ring centre.
Kelly trying to get back into this fight, but Kendall is up on her
toes and dodging her punches, before smacking Kelly to the face with
pounding hooks.
The Brit is being pressed backwards towards the ropes now as Kendall
is sending a barrage of punches at her, the crowd up on their feet to
get a better view of what they think is the finish.
Kelly though clinches up with Kendall, blood dripping from her nose to
the back of Kendall as she is starting to look a real mess now.
The referee steps in and Kelly is back on the attack, but finds
herself being parried and countered by the quicker Kendall.
An uppercut seems to be the start of the end for Kelly, only her will
seems to be keeping her up as her knees wobble till a right hook to
her chin puts her down to her front.
The referee checks her and waves for the bell as Kelly is flat out on
the canvas, no way is she getting up before the count of 10 and the
fight is over.
Winner: Kendall Jenner KO Round 6
After:
Kendall smiles as she returns to her corner, going over to hug her new
mini family it seems of her corner crew, the girls are in a group hug,
all smiling as Melinda scowls from her corner.
Medics rushing in to check over Kelly, whose starting to come around,
with Melinda going over to check on her and after she sits up, gives
her a small hug to comfort her.
Kelly looking down at the canvas though, shaking her head as she
doesn't know how she lost to Kendall, going through the fight in her
head, before thinking how she let her off the hook after the first
round.
Kendall certainly didn't care, waving to her fans as she walked around
the ring, ignoring the sitting down Kelly as she went by.
As Kendall got back to her corner, Melinda and Kelly with help from a
ringside helper lifts up the beaten Brit and takes her out the ring
and to the back to her fans shouting "you're still the best Kelly!"
Which doesn't exactly help her mood as she is deep in self reflection,
"What do I need to do to get back to who I am?" She thinks to herself
as she finally gets backstage and past the journalists, who want a
word with her, before getting into the locker room to get cleaned up.
Meanwhile in the ring, Kendall smiles to the crowd as her hand is
raised and her name announced as the winner, which seems to grow that
smile even wider.
Before the Girls Friday girls all leave the ring together, Kenda
hoping wherever she ends up in the end is like this as she looks at
Melanie, acting like a mother hen, keeping her grounded when she is
about to explode over stupid things.
Eva is funny to Kendall, the way she seems to shy away from conflict
and yet is now helping people to fight by patching them up, "are all
stables like this?" She thinks to herself.
That is before journalists swamp her, Melanie asking her quietly "do
you want to do this or should I act as a bouncer?" Smiling as she adds
the last part.
Kendall whispers "I have to say a few things, thank you for the offer
though" as she hugs Melanie and turns to the sea of journalists in the
back.
"OK first I want to thank the Girls Friday stable, they have welcomed
me with open arms and while someday I may be at a different stable
fighting these girls, they will always have a place in my heart and
well you saw what I could do with part of a training camp with them,
what can I do with a full one" says Kendall to start.
Changing the subject, she says about her opponent "Kelly isn't a girl
to sleep on, she gave me some real power punches in there, I'll admit
that she might be the hardest puncher I've faced, her or Jaimie
Alexander, but as you saw, I came and I conquered her big ass in the
ring"
Finishing up, she says "before you guys ask, I don't know what is next
on the horizon, I know that I won't be doing any CBAD bouts unless
someone comes out the blue and we are going through a list of names
for next months PPV, so just keep watch I guess and thank you to
everyone who supported me"
Nodding at the journalists as Melanie taps her on the back to remind
her to go back to the Girls Friday locker room, she's used to using
the community locker room that the free agents need to.
Instead tonight she gets to see how a stable celebrates it's wins and
helps those who lost get back to a happy place.
But after beating another former champion, how far can this youngster
really go, several pundits are wondering that themselves as the legacy
of Kendall grows with each fight.
