BEFORE: Carla Bonner made a noisy entrance to the female celebrity boxing competition blasting out fellow Australian compatriots Natalie Bassingthwaighte and Jessica Marais in Melbourne last year and she arrives for her UK debut full of confidence she can keep her winning streak alive. Her tonight's opponent is a genuine rookie but no stranger to the drama TV audience, Tina Hobley of Holby City fame decides to enter the boxing fray after her reality TV ski jumping tryouts ended with a nasty injury a little over twelve months ago. Well, BBU TV's Georgie Thompson claims that boxing is indeed somewhat safer than ski jumping but Tina's skillset remains a great unknown and offers a puzzling upside when compared to the hard-punching portfolio of Carla Bonner.

Lioness Club's stalwart Emma Bunton convinced both Kate Garraway and Melanie Brown that Tina should be granted a private undercard billing in the stable's KO Club headquarters, after all Tina comes from the same London Borough of Barnet as the former Spice Girls singer and is considered a local heroine by the 1,500 strong audience. She promised to knock the Aussie blonde out in four rounds in a heated build-up to the fight but the betting odds are stacked against the 45 year old actress.

Tina Hobley wears a navy blue basque top with black trim, black knickers and white gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a braid. Carla Bonner wears a golden basque top, green hotpants and golden gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a loose bun at the back of her head. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Carla's hard-punching reputation is probably little known to the Barnet fanbase but the Aussie cougar does everything she can early on to silence the KO Club and Tina endures a trial of fire in the opening round. She gets caught with a wild overhand on the nose which sets the tone for remainder of the Aussie attack. Carla is all over the older blonde and peppers her to the body which stacks Tina up in the center of the ring before a clubbing hook on the temple rattles the English girl on her heels. Bonner splits her mitts with a series of well-measured jabs and head hunts the immobile rival to the point she literally punches her back to the ropes and resumes the body assault when a groaning Hobley disappears behind a tight earmuff. She does very little to tame the Aussie barrage though and Bonner runs away with a pillar-to-post beating and punches the air in delight at the bell.

Round 2:
Bonner eyes a swift knockdown here and squares up to the fellow actress immediately after the bell, she drills the English breadbasket and almost head-butts Hobley in her pursuit for glory but Tina finally shows some proper boxing skills and lands a jabbing series on the chest which briefly stalls the Aussie juggernaut. Both women exchange an overhand series and Tina tears into Carla's lips before stacking her with a quick hook on the liver! Ugh! Carla wobbles forward and meets a nasty uppercut drive on the rack which triggers a lenghty clinching struggle but Tina wraps her into the corner and nails her with a huge hooking cross on the nose that snaps the Aussie's head back and slumps her against the turnbuckle just before the bell.

Round 3:
The Barnet audience roars in delight as the two cougars jump into heavy slugging mode and punish each other with vicious strikes during the opening minute and it's clear that Bonner's knees begin to wobble more as she slumps on her heels when Tina drops down for a gut-wrenching change. A quick uppercut then splits the golden mitts and enables the older blonde to rattle a head hunting series that exposes the Aussie guard wholesale and sends Carla backing into the ropes. Another brutal hook on the ear half-spins the tourist against the turnbuckle and Hobley yells out as she pancakes her jugs in the dying seconds with Bonner's arms sliding down against her waist and offering no protection anymore.

Round 4:
Georgie Thompson is shocked to see Tina so aggressive here but she really thrives on the support of the KO Club audience and clobbers the somewhat confused Aussie straight up the middle to open the fourth. She clips Bonner's jugs and splits her mitts with jaw-dropping ease before blasting her across the mouth and adding another stinger of a hook on the right ear... AND DOWN GOES BONNER just like that! The sheer amount of the English onslaught simply breaks the Down Under tourist's resilience and the fallen blonde spits out her mouthpiece in a futile effort to bide herself some time. She's down on all fours and makes a slow recovery at eight. Tina yells out her again and is ready to deliver more punishment and the Barnet audience wants blood here! Carla's rocked mentally more than physically and she finds no solace in the footwork match-up, Hobley matches her stride for stride and homes in another ruthless jabbing series that cuts the Aussie guard like butter; Bonner's head snaps back repeatedly as the Aussie blonde gets pounded butt-in-ropes and develops a nasty cut under the left eye which results from all the English heat she's soaking up right now... Ugh! She simply can't break herself free from this Hobley beating and SLIDES DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE in the corner just past the two minute mark!!!! The count is quicker this time but Bonner's had enough of this guest appearance in Barnet and makes no effort to recover from this nightmare anymore. KO4 Tina Hobley in jaw-dropping fashion!!!

AFTER: Carla won't threaten the Wembley Stadium main event status anytime soon as she simply got ragdolled by a shockingly effective opponent here tonight and Georgie Thompson says this result can't be blamed on Tina's backyard knowledge or Carla's jetlag whatsoever. Little did the BBU pundits and fans alike know that Hobley could actually be the improved version of Bonner's power punching cougar that made the headlines during the fall. Emma Bunton and Mel B. are over the moon to see the local favorite pull off a victory like that - on her official debut no less - and Dorota Rabczewska is the only Lioness Club member who voices her displeasure over Hobley's larger-than-life boxing arrival. She dismisses the veteran actress on twitter and vows to annihiliate her in front of the home crowd at any convenient opportunity. However Kate Garraway tells the media that the looming dispute won't be solved on Easter Saturday and there's no danger that the fomer bantamweight title challenger from Poland gets replaced on the Lioness roster by Tina - who's frankly a little too old to become a valid prospect anymore.

Since we mention the Lioness prospects, Kate, Emma and the gang are ready to actually witness one in the card's Main Event which is sponsored by Victoria's Secret brand no less. Yes, the big stage glitz has arrived in North London and one of the BBU best-kept secrets is about to be uncovered.
