BEFORE: Carla Howe makes her long-awaited BBU debut in Cardiff tonight and her opponent is a popular Essex babe Billie Faiers whose boxing career has been a major disappointement to say the very least. The blonde glamour model lost all five of her bouts to date and returns to action for the first time since Kate Lawler battered her into submission eleven months ago.

On the other hand BBU TV's Anna Woolhouse thinks Carla has a tremendous upside at her disposal and it's not only because of her past fling with Amir Khan of all people. The brunette is labelled as the free agency answer to the highly touted fellow newcomer Danielle Sharp (who signed a contract with PageThrees ahead of her debut) but if she secures a winning run in her early BBU days, she could be joining one of these stables sooner rather than later!

Both models have family members acting as mentors tonight, Carla's twin sister Melissa is there in the blue corner and Billie's younger sister Sam hopes to see the Faiers team finally end the losing streak that has both siblings nursing a 0-9 combined record!

Carla Howe wears a blue bikini set with a white Playboy bunny on each cup and matching blue gloves. Long dark brown hair in loose waves. Billie Faiers wears a pink bikini set and white gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Billie tries to defy the odds early on as she tackles the brunette's rack with a couple of promising uppercuts but Carla's straight down to business herself and slams a left hook across the blonde's mouth to indicate she knows a thing or two about boxing. The eyes of the UK audience might be on Wembley Stadium and Anthony Joshua tonight so both girls try to pancake each other before that other big fight gets started and it leads to a hectic phone booth-like exchange which actually helps Bille to settle down and pick her shots better. She punishes Howe's midriff and lands another of these promising uppercuts before slamming a right hook on the nose to send the Berkshire lass backpedallig into the ropes. That's as good as it gets for the Faiers camp and no wonder sister Sam is leading the cheers at the bell.

Round 2:
Billie's really pumped for more action now and she sprints across the boards to resume the uppercut charge however Carla's learned her lessons from the sluggish opener and blocks the blonde's efforts off before cracking a fine left hook on the brow ridge to wobble the Essex girl behind a high earmuff. She then adds a solid combo on the guts and takes advantage of Billie's leaky guard; those quick punches really drill holes in the blonde's defense and make her grunt in discomfort after a short while already. Carla steps it up and pummels the subdued for back to the ropes where Faiers tries to swing one from the back foot but only grazes the top of the brunette's forehead and sinks on her knees when Howe piledrives her on the nose with another textbook left hook which is followed by a low jab on the navel. Ugh! Billie sags down on the ropes and wraps herself around the fellow model but Carla's in the aggressive mood now and keeps blasting the Essex babe on the body until the bell finally halts her charge.

Round 3:
Howe ups the tempo of her attacks and she's the one stalking the other girl in the ring now but Billie does't look too spooked out there yet; she gets involved in a feisty brawl in the middle of the ring and both models ignite a great deal of support from the Welsh audience. It's really too close to call - which kinda speaks better of the Essex entourage - but Carla loses her temper much quicker and simply blasts the blonde in the groin to secure the breakthrough! Ugh! Now that was ugly! Ref drags her away and lectures her about the rules but neither Billie or Sam in the corner saw this coming. Shades of Danielle Sharp's controversial victory over Diana Korkunova immediately take center stage again but Carla's right there in Billie's cleavage when the fight resumes and drills the solar plexus with rapid fire approach which bends the unfortunate blonde against the turnbuckle and completely shuts her down during the final minute. Melissa Howe and Sam Faiers exchange verbal abuse from opposite corners but down in the ring, Carla lifts Billie's rack with a mean uppercut drive and ends the round on top despite a great deal of controversy!

Round 4:
The Essex team is furious and Billie wants blood now... she squares up to the Berkshire lass but she'd be better off teasing the brunette's short fuse instead according to Anna Woolhouse and it's a disaster for the TOWIE gang as Carla slams a nasty left cross when she beats the blonde for the initial approach. Ugh! SHE HITS THE JACKPOT as Billie's gumshield flies straight off into the stands and the BLONDE COLLAPSES IN A HEAP landing face-down at the brunette's feet! Well, even some of the PageThrees would be proud of that strike! And Sam Faiers simply loses her mind in the corner as she screams at her sister to get up and prevent the family cold streak from reaching double figures. However that was monster of a punch from Howe and poor Billie is counted out while still down on her face! Forget the PageThrees, Anthony Joshua would be proud of that one himself! It's KO4 Carla Howe!!!

AFTER: Despite the glass jaw reputation Billie looked really comfortable out there and took the fight to the highly-touted newcomer until the controversial shot to the groin removed all the stream from her actions. She never recovered from that incident but she didn't have any time on her hands either as Howe blasted her out in wicked one-punch fashion seconds into the fourth round. Anna Woolhouse remains coy how the fight would have unfolded without that mean punch but that's yesterday's news already and only the Essex pride has taken a lethal hit which won't be forgotten anytime soon. Both Melissa Howe and Sam Faiers are ready to trade blows as the two camps still argue about that controversial strike but Carla offers her support and threatens to knock Sam's teeth out on the spot which leaves the Essex tag team in hurry-up retreat mode. And most of the Cardiff Arena fans switch over to the Sky Sports coverage of that other big fight in the UK tonight even before the official verdict is announced.
