(Girls Friday vs Free Agent)

Intro:
Elizabeth Henstridge meets Rachel Bilson tonight with both girls
wanting to move up the rankings in the flyweight division.
For Elizabeth, she is looking to improve on her 5 wins (5 knockouts)
and 2 losses in her young career, she's 29 years old and 5'4.
The Sheffield lass meets the Los Angeles born Rachel, who in a long
career has 19 wins (9 knockouts) and 21 losses, she is 35 years old
and 5'5.

Going into the fight, Elizabeth was complementarity as usual in her
talks with the media towards Rachel, telling them "she has had a hard
time lately but is still a class act in the ring, and this is about
gaining the experience I need to get back to the top tier fights that
I started my career with"
Asked about her increasing presence in FCBA magazines, Elizabeth
blushes and answers "I honestly never expected any of this, I joined
because of girls like Ming-Na, Chloe and Adrianne telling me to give
it a try, then my stable of course found me and has supported me so
much that I have to say thank you to them, the praise and coverage is
fun and I hope I can live up to the poster image people are trying to
give me"
Rachel on the other hand is asked about her career, is it on a slump?
She replies "I know people want to finish off a persons career at the
first sign of trouble and while I'd prefer to be speaking from a base
of victories, my losses have been to girls like Anna Kendrick and
Natalie Portman, you know the former and current FCBA flyweight
champions"
Changing the subject to Elizabeth, she said "I seem to be fighting all
the nice girls, as said Anna Kendrick, Rachel Leigh Cook, not Cheryl
Cole of course" winking at that last name.
She adds "Elizabeth has started well in her career, but this is the
time for me to step up and win, there is no second best in this sport,
just winners and losers; I'm not a loser"

After all the training is done, it's now time to fight, Elizabeth
Henstridge is the first girl out on stage, beside her stands Lauren
Berlingeri and Eva Carneiro as coach and cut woman respectfully.
She is wearing a white sports bra, matching trunks with "Henstridge"
in black letters and an Agent of Shield badge on her left leg, she
also has white gloves and shoes, while her hair is up in a ponytail.
After bumping fists with her young fans, all still wearing the shirts
with her face on and "master of the sweet science on" that makes
Elizabeth smile, she climbs into the ring to a loud roar from the
crowd.
Waving her fists to the crowd before she heads to her to corner to get
ready to fight, everyone's attention turns around to the ramp now.
Out comes Rachel Bilson, her coach is by her side as she bounces on
her toes at the top of the ramp, staring hard into the ring as she is
fully focused on the task at hand, before she starts to walk down to
the ring.
She is wearing yellow sports bra, matching trunks with "Bilson" in
white letters to go with her yellow gloves with white gloves and
yellow shoes, her own hair tied into a ponytail.
Entering the ring, Rachel gets a loud cheer too, the ever popular
actress pumps her right fist to the crowd, before heading to her own
corner.
After both are given a chance to warm up, they are brought to the ring
centre, no active hostility between the two yet, just serious looks on
both women's faces as they look each other up or down.
Asked to touch gloves, respectfully they do as asked with an added nod
between the two, before they jog back to their corners.
Both look ready for this as the referee signals for the bell to be
rung so 10 rounds of flyweight action can begin.

Round 1:
Off we go, both girls start with testing punches, probing each others
defences as they circle near the ring centre.
Elizabeth is the one to push the action, stepping forwards to throw
two straight punches towards the face of Rachel, who in turn blocks
them well on her arms and counters with a straight of her own.
Both girls cancelling each other out in the early going, landing
strikes through the others guards but taking one straight back.
That is till Rachel parries a right hand from her English opponent,
landing a counter right over the guard to start her drive forward.
Snapping quick punches up and down Elizabeth to keep her guessing and
on the back foot, a good right hook to the body of Elizabeth showing
off the success she's having on the front foot.
Elizabeth for her part forced to fight on the back foot, throwing
attempted counter punches that Rachel leans out the way of.
Then the American comes back with a three punch combo up top that
presses Elizabeth back onto her heels, forcing her towards the ropes
that she just escapes from with good footwork.
Finding a little space to think things through, Elizabeth starts
coming back at Rachel, leading to some quick fire exchanges between
the two.
Standing and trading, both girls plant their feet as they try to win
this early battle and hopefully the overall fight with this.
Elizabeth lands a clean uppercut that puts Rachel onto the defence
late in the round, coming forwards with a stiff two punch combo inside
the guard of Bilson to the delight of her fans.
Though as Rachel shows, she isn't going to be pushed back easily
either, slipping under a right cross to dig her left to the abs of
Henstridge.
The fighters almost bump into each other as they know not long is left
in the round and they start trading in tight, rights and lefts dig
into the sides of each fighters bodies to elicit groans from each.
The bell rings with both girls nudging each other back, giving each
other a quick once over before heading back to their corners.
Their coaches don't look too worried yet for either fight, happy with
the little successes each had, though Rachel seems the happier with
her performance, showing glimpses of what makes her a dangerous
fighter on her day.

Round 2:
Again the girls start off in close to each other, circling as they
trade a flurry of punches at each other, heads being knocked side to
side till they bump bodies.
Separating from each other, it's Elizabeth who reacts the quickest,
coming back in to land two hooks to the body of Rachel to cause her to
take a step back.
Rachel is stubborn though as Elizabeth tries to push on, the former
O.C star is still throwing punches that Elizabeth has to step out the
way of.
Back at each other go the fighters, digging short sharp punches to the
others body, till Elizabeth changes things up with a quick step out
and to the side to try and open up Bilson.
Rachel trying to react quickly, doesn't get her guard up in time
though as Elizabeth snaps a double jab through the centre of her
gloves, followed by a hard right to the body, before Rachel can shove
her back.
Hammer and tong style fighting continues as the girls zip around each
other, up on their toes trading several punches at a time before
stepping back from each other.
Again it's Elizabeth who looks to have more success, leaning out the
way of a hard right hook and countering with a straight punch onto the
lips of Rachel.
Who tries to dance back but is caught with a left cross and another
straight punch to force her to cover up and fight off the back foot.
Elizabeth pressing Rachel around the ring in their exchanges now,
keeping her head moving and her punches finding opens to keep the
advantage she's created with not long left in the round.
Rachel manages to land a right hook into the side of Elizabeth's body
to keep her from getting too confident, the bell rings as the girls
are about to get in tight again.
Instead they stop themselves and turn away from each other to jog back
to their corners, Elizabeth looking more assured of herself but both
fighters are slowly starting to get marked up facially and to the body
now.

Round 3:
Rachel looking to get back at Elizabeth and get her own momentum back,
quickening her attack up by throwing several punches at a time.
Elizabeth having to use more of her footwork to slip out the way of
some punches with real venom in them it seems.
Coming back at Rachel to land a right cross, but the American parries
a follow up left and lands her own uppercut to put Henstridge onto the
back foot now.
Rachel coming forwards with a barrage of punches, keeping Elizabeth
pinned behind her guard as she can't throw anything herself in case
she gets caught out by a big punch.
Though Rachel isn't known for having one, so she can't break the guard
as she wants, instead having to dip her punches into the side of
Elizabeth's body to try and open her up.
Elizabeth grunts under the assault, but she times a right hook
straight onto the chin of Rachel that wobbles the legs of the older
fighter.
Suddenly Rachel is finding herself on the receiving end of Elizabeth's
fists, having to cover up and move quick out the way to get into space
and recover from being stunned.
It's not long before the girls are moving in close to trade again,
Elizabeth looking assured that Rachel can't hurt her.
But again Rachel slips around a right straight and lands a right of
her own to the nose of her opponent, knocking sweat of her head.
Rachel keeping in close with Elizabeth, stopping her moving away as
she shoves her near the ropes, then lands three punches up top to make
Elizabeth regret thinking Rachel had no power at all.
Ending the round strong, Rachel digs a right to the body of Elizabeth
and a left cross punch just before the bell rings, making her look
very happy as she struts off to her corner.
Elizabeth looking slightly worried, but her coach is straight onto
her, telling her to keep her head in the game and not let herself get
worked up over a bad round, getting Henstridge nodding and looking
calmer.

Round 4:
Now it's Elizabeth's turn to look to start off strong to compensate
for the last round, Rachel of course looking to build on it.
The girls meeting up and trading stiff punches in tight, losing their
techniques to try to knock each other backwards.
It looks like as Rachel steps back that she's luring Elizabeth in, but
she's stunned as Elizabeth is quick as a flash to lunge forwards with
a right that catches her opponent on her cheek.
Sweat flies off Rachel's head as the crowd gasp, Elizabeth is quick to
build on this moment, digging her fists into the lips of Rachel to
cause her head to snap back and for her to retreat.
Showing some real worry on her face for the first real time this
fight, Rachel covers up as her opponent comes on the attack.
Slamming body shots to her sides, Elizabeth looks keen to keep on the
attack, Rachel forced to use her left to shove Elizabeth back by her
face to get back some space.
Rachel after somewhat recovering starts digging her own left towards
the nose of Elizabeth, who does her best to dodge those shots and
looks for her own opening.
Which she promptly finds with a feint up top with her left and slams
her right into the body of Rachel to cause her to gasp.
Rachel trying hard to fight back, the girls trading stiff jabs to
measure each other up for their power punches, instead it's Elizabeth
who lands first, slamming another right to the ribs this time of
Bilson to cause her to groan loudly.
The round ends with Rachel covering up from Elizabeth as the Agents of
Shield girl almost had her pinned to the ropes.
Both girls head back to their corners, Rachel rubbing her side as she
sits down, her coach telling her to stop doing that so he can add an
ice pack to numb the pain in her side.

Round 5:
Elizabeth looking at getting close to Rachel, who is wisely guarding
the side of her body with her left arm lower and timing Henstridge
coming forwards.
The girls circle each other, with Elizabeth again coming onto the
attack with a jab to start to keep Rachel tucked behind her guard.
Rachel though does land a good right cross to start fighting her way
back into this, stepping back out the way though as Elizabeth throws a
right that skims the hurting left side of her body.
Trying to time another attack, Rachel thinks she has as she comes
forwards with a left jab to try to start off her combo.
But she misses as Elizabeth parries it and steps to the left to open
Rachel up for her sweeping right landing squarely into her side.
Rachel gasping and being forced back under a barrage of punches now
from Elizabeth, till she is pinned onto the ropes.
Trying to fight her way off them leaves Rachel open to a hard right
hook into her body and down goes Rachel!
Elizabeth jogging back to a neutral corner as the referee begins to
count, Rachel spitting her gumshield out and cradling her body as she
rolls to her side.
The referee gets up to 10 with Rachel stuck on the canvas in pain and
the fight is over!

Winner: Elizabeth Henstridge KO Round 5

After:
Showing her caring side even in victory, Elizabeth rushes over with
the referee to check on Rachel, kneeling down beside the girl she just
put down for the count.
Rachel's coach is in the ring soon enough and with help from the
referee, he gets her up and on her stool so she can catch her breath.
Nodding at Elizabeth to show her thanks for her seeming to show she
cares, Elizabeth nods back and heads to her own corner to be cleaned
up and gloves taken off.
After several moments where Rachel is checked on for broken ribs or
other serious damage, the doctor says that Bilson is going to be sore
but nothing serious to worry about.
Rachel is relieved about that, though as the pain starts to dampen,
she remembers that she is back on the losing side again, she is
wondering what she has to do to win, feeling she had good spells
during this fight.
As she is being helped to the ring centre by her coach for the result
being announced and watching Elizabeth's hand being raised, she is
fighting back tears at feeling lost at the moment.
Elizabeth tries to lift her spirits as she heads over to her, gently
patting her on her shoulder and telling her "that was fun babe, you
never let me settle in here, so thank you"
Rachel nods, replying simply with "thank you" it's the best she can do
right about now as Elizabeth knows that she probably doesn't want to
be bothered with too much after this result.
Simply letting Rachel leave the ring with her coach as her own
coaching team and friends Lauren and Eva come over and hug their
fighter.
Both tell Elizabeth that she impresses them more and more each time
she fights, though she is sure they are just being kind to her as she
is happy that she's going the right way in her career.
Leaving the ring with both of her girls, Elizabeth goes over to her
fans, giving the youngster one with her shirt on her gloves to
cherish.
Then she heads up the ramp and to the back, giving the press in the
backstage area a quick word "I want to thank Rachel for the fight, I
hope she can keep her chin up as that wasn't easy by any stretch for
me, I know she can win soon and I expect seeing her across the ring
from me in future when she finds her feet again"
Before she leaves she's asked about her future, replying simply with
"one step at a time, I am still young in my career and I have to
remember that" as she leaves to go to the stable locker room to get
cleaned up and help her stablemates warm up for their fights.
